The camera fades in on the inside of the Collision Center. Seats are filling up, and fans are settling in for the PPV to start. Andrew Payne and Miranda Augustino are on pre-show commentary as they welcome viewers and remind them of how they can watch March Mayhem III - be it through a PPV purchase or on the NFW All Access Network. They thank viewers for being here as, one by one, entrance music starts to hit back to back and the competitors for the Battle Royal make their way out on a straight path to the ring.

As Thea Crawford announced the rules of the match, the fifteen competitors surrounded the ring, waiting for the bell to signal them in. Thea Crawford finished the announcement before carefully exiting the ring and coming down the steps where she stood by the timekeeper and gave the signal to begin the match. The bell rang….

~DING DING DING~

And all fifteen roster members rushed inside the ring and the chaos was on, immediately. Well, that is all except for Steele Matthews who stood by ringside, walking the perimeter and took his sweet time getting into the mix of things. Inside the ring, fists were flying, elbows were being thrown and everyone was trying to get the upper hand while attempting to start the early eliminations. MMA practitioners Nattie K and Nathanael Morian went for each other, throwing and blocking shots. Jenn Drew and Kairi Higurashi seemed to form a temporary alliance, even fist bumping each other as they seemed to come to a circumstantial agreement. The two then went after Azurine Vebbins and Qiyanna Marshal and those two pairs were at each other’s throats. Everyone else was all mixed up as Kasey Kash slipped out of the ring under the bottom rope and started going under the ring, tossing random shit in. Chairs, kendo sticks, trash cans, etc. Steele Matthews was still standing by, jeering at those inside the ring when Kasey took notice as he had another chair in his hands. Steele caught Kasey eyeballing him and was in the middle of asking him just what the hell he was staring at when Kasey just threw the chair out and popped Steele in the face with it.

As he stumbled, Kasey grabbed him and threw him into the ring which seemed to get the attention of the majority of the others who realized what Matthews had been trying to do. Steele slowly got to his feet and started to try and reason with the circle of vultures until he backed up right into Adrianna Salvatore. Steele slowly turned around to see the big blonde just smiling menacingly at him, and as soon as he patted her shoulders--BOOM! She rocked him with a headbutt and everyone in the little circle rushed the self proclaimed Best in the World and just rained down the blows on him.

THE ELIMINATIONS

Eliminations started taking off as the action picked up with all fifteen competitors in the ring. Jenn Drew and Qiyanna Marshal were still mixing it up with Qiyanna rocking Jenn with stiff shots but Jenn drew caught her with a counter chop to the throat then raked at her eyes. As Qiyanna rubbed her face, Jenn grabbed hold of her, whipped her around and sent her over the top rope to the floor. At the same time, across the ring, Nathanael Morian was on a role, rocking Nattie K with lefts and rights before finally twisting and nailing her with a spinning back elbow. As she stumbled back into the ropes, the Spirit of Vengeance clotheslined her over the top and sent her down.

Newcomer Brea Lombardi was on a roll, slipping around her opponents and keeping them on the edge with quick kicks. This seemed to be going well until she began laying into River Chance but the powerhouse just Irish whipped her off the ropes and went for a back body drop on Lombardi over the top rope. Lombardi caught the rope and managed to land on the apron. River ran in to knock her off but Lombardi hit a rope-held enziguri and caught Chance in the face, sending her back. Brea had about a brief second to celebrate saving herself until Adrianna Salvatore ran in along the length of the ropes inside the ring and leveled Brea with a clothesline, causing her to smack down onto the apron and roll to the floor.

Tahti Kuu and Azurine Vebbins were dangerously close to the ropes, trading right hands back and forth when The Hive’s Mister J came running in, surprising both ladies with a double clothesline and sending them out to the floor. The big man of The Hive threw up his fists, roaring triumphantly, tauntingly at the two he eliminated. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t see that Super Tiger had set her sights on him and hit a big dropkick, sending him forward and stumbling, toppling over the rope to the floor. While he landed on his feet, the furious man spun around to find Super Tiger grinning at him with a new sort of fire in her eyes behind her mask.

The battle royal continued as the numbers started trickling down. Adrianna Salvatore and River Chance went on a display of their power as they systematically began tossing bodies around with suplexes or knocking them over with clotheslines from Hell. The crowd buzzed with anticipation when the moment came that they were the only two standing while the others were sprawled out across the mat, recovering from whatever had laid them out. Salvatore and Chance came nose to nose with each other. As expected, Adrianna threw the first shot between these two female titans but River wasn’t one to ever take something without giving back so she rocked Adrianna with a shot of her own. Adrianna fired back. River fired back again. The two ladies began to pick up the pace, throwing bombs at one another. Adrianna finally caught River with a kick to the ribs then hit the ropes, going for the G.R.B but River SNATCHED her up off of her feet for the POMMEL STRIKE!!!!

The next elimination, meanwhile took place as La Silencia and Kairi Higurashi were fighting by the ropes. La Silencia tossed Kairi over the ropes but Kairi held on tight and managed to stay on the apron. From here, Silencia and Kairi fought for dominance with the Street Empress trying to knock the Joshi down to the floor. Super Tiger saw her cousin in trouble and ran over, engaging La Silencia in a barrage of strong style forearms. She had Silencia rocked but when she went for a roundhouse kick, Silencia ducked and POW!!! Super Tiger’s foot connected with Kairi’s face, sending her down to the floor and out of the match. Super Tiger looked stunned and apologetic as Kairi laid out on the floor, holding her face. La Silencia went to capitalize on the Tiger’s surprised state and throw her out but Tiger caught herself on the ropes to keep herself from going over and now the fight was on between them.

Foreign objects were very much a thing, still, in the match as Kasey Kash wasn’t shy about swinging the chairs and the Singapore Canes. The risk taker was going full bore, balls to the wall as he dished out chair shots to the likes of Nathanael Morian, Jenn Drew and, to the delight of the crowd, Steele Matthews. Though again, once Steele took a shot to the head, he dropped down and rolled out of the ring under the bottom rope. Switching to a trash can, Kasey Kash sought another victim to strike and set his sights on River Chance but the big woman just blocked it with her forearms coming up in an X pattern. While it staggered her, it didn’t quite give the result Kash was hoping for and, despite being a little shook, Kash brought the trash bin up and down again but River kicked him in the midsection, causing the weapon to fall. She snatched Kasey Kash up for a stalling vertical suplex, showcasing her power but as she turned with him up in the air--GAMMA RAY BURST BY ADRIANNA SALVATORE!! River dropped Kasey from her hold as the impact by Adrianna put her through a table Kash had propped up in the corner earlier in the match.

The next elimination occurred as Super Tiger and La Silencia were still going back and forth with Silencia fighting as dirty as she could but as she tried, once more to eliminate Super Tiger again, Jenn Drew seemingly came to Tiger’s rescue and the two, in an unlikely team up, worked together to get La Silencia out of the ring. Both women celebrated for a moment, high fiving each other before...SUPER TIGER GRABBED JENN DREW AND THREW HER OVER THE TOP ROPE!! The crowd exclaimed in surprise as Jenn Drew took a second to process what just happened and looked up at Tiger. Inside the ring, Super Tiger had an uneasy look on her face as she shrugged her hands up. It was everyone for themselves.

River Chance was back up again with Adrianna Salvatore trying to force her over the top rope when Super Tiger saw an opportunity and came up to try and get a double elimination. Adrianna threw a back elbow into the woman’s face to get her back and went right back for River Chance. Next, Kasey Kash tried for a double elimination but Adrianna spun around and floored Kash with a big chokeslam. For a third time, she turned and began fighting with River to get her over the ropes but this time, just as it looked like she was about to get them out, Nathanael Morian ran in for that double elimination but he shot low for the legs and before Adrianna could react, both her and River were hitting the floor!

Steele Matthews snuck back into the ring with a fresh kendo stick at that time and took his window of opportunity, catching Morian across the back with the weapon. With the Spirit of Vengeance stunned, he went to throw him over the ropes onto a table he’d set up but Morian caught himself on the apron and blocked another cane shot with his forearm, grimacing from it. He slipped off of the apron but ended up standing on the table Steele had set up as Matthews ran in to try and knock him off to the floor. Morian thrust his shoulder through the ropes and hit Steele in the ribs, then set him up for a suplex. A suplex that, unfortunately, ended up eliminating himself as well but it was vengeance served as both men went crashing through the table to the floor. This left two competitors for the match….

Super Tiger and Kasey Kash were both back on their feet, realizing they were the final two and began circling around the ring. Both were well familiar with each other from working in other promotions together. The two circled up and for the beginning of things, it began unfolding like a singles match as the two came in for a collar & elbow lockup. Super Tiger went right for the technical holds and strong style while Kasey Kash used his daredevil, aerialistic style to quicken the pace of the match. Super Tiger showed that she could work at that same pace, however and it soon became a fast paced, battle of the high flyers while making sure they didn’t accidentally eliminate themselves. Things started getting crazier and boiling up to a head as Kasey Kash had Super Tiger out on the apron and ran in to try and spear-knock her off but the Joshi side stepped and caught him with a Yakuza kick to the face. Kasey Kash slipped forward through the ropes and was gonna hit the floor but wait, no! He caught himself with his hands on the floor while his feet rested against the apron! Technically he was safe! But Super Tiger grabbed him by the legs and shoved them off of the apron to send them to the floor BUT...Kasey Kash ended up balancing on his hands and walked himself over to the barricade while Super Tiger looked on with a dropped jaw. Kasey maneuvered his legs, straddling the security barricade with his legs and carefully balanced himself up along the edge...and JUMPED over onto the apron again. As Super Tiger turned around on the apron to engage him again, Kasey hopped and dropped down, delivering a basement dropkick to Super Tiger’s feet, causing her to fall face forward, hitting the apron and dropping to the floor as he rolled underneath the bottom rope into the ring!

~DING DING DING~

Thea Crawford: Here is your winner of the Perseverance #1 Contender Battle Royal!! KASEY...KASH!!

Bones’ “RestInPeace” played over the PA system as the referee entered the ring to raise Kasey’s arm and Kash celebrated his victory as Super Tiger pulled herself to her feet and, much like we’d seen her in recent weeks, she wasn’t all too happy about losing. The young woman kicked the barricade and slapped the apron before storming off up the walkway. Back inside the ring, Kasey Kash was just as pumped up as one could be, standing on the turnbuckle as he continued to relish in his big win.

Andrew Payne: Damn, Mir, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that before but big ups to this kid right here. That’s what I call thinking outside the box.

Miranda Augustino: Shit yeah, boy! Tiggy don’t look too happy but hey, ya can’t win them all, right? Kasey Kash is a crazy fucker but hey, it gets the job done for him!

Andrew Payne: Absolutely, and we’ll see him in the first Perseverance Title defense against the champion, later to be determined, as well as at least one other contender, per division rules.

Miranda Augustino: Well we know who the champion’s gonna be, c’mon.

Andrew Payne: We know who you want to be the champion.

Miranda Augustino: I always get what I want!

Andrew Payne: Yeah? You get that Bugatti yet?

Miranda Augustino: ….Maaaaan, shut up!

Andrew Payne: Haha, I didn’t think so. Ladies and gentlemen, don’t go too far! That was our pre-show action but March Mayhem III begins in just a few moments! Don’t miss it!

The shot returns to the PPV recap and hype footage.

We open on a black screen and silence. It is broken by a faint blues guitar riff. It is joined by someone reading some scientific paper. They are then joined by someone singing a touching melody. More voices and sounds join the first ones until it is an incomprehensible cacophony. It all cuts to silence again abruptly. The black slowly fades in to show a crossing of two dirt roads out in the middle of Anywhere USA. A voice comes over the scene.

“Throughout history, people have done whatever they could to gain what they seek. Some have sought wealth, others fame, others power. But those that have been wildly successful have done whatever it takes to get there. Some have gone so far as to make deals.”

A lone figure appears walking down one of the dirt roads. They stop at the crossroads and look around.

“The methods of contacting a deal broker have changed and varied throughout the ages. Some held clandestine rituals deep in reputedly haunted woods. Some have done so in abandoned holy places. For a time people came to crossroads to make deals.”

Another figure seemed to appear from nowhere, startling the other. The two seem to have a discussion before a piece of paper is pulled out and signed. The two shake hands and then one of the figures simply vanishes.

“Today, things are different. Today deals are made with the spin of a wheel.”

The wheel to be used tonight appears on the screen, replacing the crossroads scene. It is spinning, the match types a blur as they pass.

“Tonight people will spin this wheel and hope to come out on top of a deal. To get what it is they seek. Fortune, fame, power, respect. Everything and Anything is on the line tonight at New Frontier Wrestling March Mayhem. Are you ready? Then step up. Spin the wheel. Make the deal.”

We zoom in on the pointer of the wheel as the sections speed by. It stops suddenly on a section that shows a face, half lion half demon. A sinister laugh can be heard before the scene cuts to nothing. After a moment, it opens on a highlight reel, showcasing the roster members competing tonight to the sound of Blue Sarceno’s “Save My Soul.” After the vignette finishes, we return to the Collision Center where the opening pyro goes off on the stage.

Andrew Payne: March Mayhem is upon us, ladies and gentlemen!

Miranda Augustino: WHOOOO!!! Damn right, Andy!! Hey, that Battle Royal was pretty lit, right?!

Andrew Payne: Was indeed. Congratulations, again, to Kasey Kash. He’ll be receiving a Perseverance Title shot in the near future; but Mir, we still need to crown our first Perseverance Champion. We’ll be doing that later tonight. Every Trauma title is on the line tonight. We’ve also got the Trios and Tag Team Titles on the line.

Miranda Augustino: Yeah, hey Collision! Thanks for bringing those, we’ll take them from here!

Andrew Payne: Will you stop? Invasion: Civil War is over.

Miranda Augustino: Doesn’t mean I can’t still be sour about it. Ain’t that what the losers do?

Miranda looks right at the camera with a sly grin, waiting on people to get the joke. As soon as it dawns on Andrew, he cover his face with one hand.

Andrew Payne: Jesus, Mir….

And this sends her into a hysterical cackle. Andrew looks apologetically at the camera.

Andrew Payne: Well, we did promise Mayhem. Seems I gotta sit next to it all night. For those of you joining us for the first time, my name is Andrew Payne. I’m joined here by Miranda Augustino---

Meanwhile, Miranda’s cackling so hard, she falls sideways out of her chair. Andrew leans over to look at her.

Andrew Payne: Will you compose yourself? Jesus.

Miranda Augustino: I CAN’T!!!!

Andrew Payne: Well, while my broadcast colleague is making a fool of herself, let me once again, welcome everyone to tonight’s show. We’re gonna be starting things very shortly here. This is March Mayhem, ladies and gentlemen. Every match will be decided by a spin on the Wheel of Mayhem, sans our opening match here shortly, the Luchacore Championship. That title is defended, universally, under anything goes, falls count anywhere. We’ll also see, as already mentioned, the Perseverance Champion crowned for the first time in an Ultimate X match. The rest of tonight’s matches, competitors won’t know what they’re getting themselves into until they’re inside the ring! So, without further adieu, let’s buckle down and get this show underway.

He looks down at Miranda on the floor again.

Andrew Payne: Are you done?

Miranda’s arm comes up and slaps down on top of the table. She pulls herself up off the floor, dabbing her eyes with a cloth so as not to smear her eyeliner. She’s still trying to catch her breath from laughing so hard.

Miranda Augustino: Ohhhhhhh, dios mio. I gotta fix my makeup. You still running down the card?

Andrew Payne: No, I’m finished with that. We’re about to go backstage to the cameras then start the first match.

Miranda Augustino: Wait, I wanna say something first!

Andrew Payne: Shoot.

Miranda Augustino: Go Mami! Go Papi! Go Katie baby!!! WHOOOOO!!!

Andrew rolls his eyes as Miranda throws her fists in the air and shakes her hips in her chair. The man gives the signal for the cameras to cut backstage.

We open up to show NFW Undisputed Champion Anton Crowley sitting on an evil, sinister-looking throne. Across one shoulder is the Undisputed title and across his lap sat Cali-Kate. In front of the pair, and slightly to their left stands Faust, their new manager. His hands are clasped in front of him with his index fingers steepled.

Faust: Tonight my Lord and Lady both leave with their rightful Gold. Lord Crowley shall retain his crown against the Lion usurper. Then Lady Kate shall overcome the four pretenders and persevere.

A small smirk creeps onto Faust’s face.

Faust: Long have my Lord and Lady claimed that they are the pinnacle on Trauma. That they are the top of the top echelon. None of you believed. None of you listened. None of you listened when My Lord won the title the first time. None listened when Lady Kate took the title. No attention was paid when My Lord took the belt back. Since winning the Undisputed Title at Sudden Death it has been in the hands of either My Lord or My Lady. Almost eight months and still you do not listen.

Anton can be seen rolling his eyes as Faust slightly shakes his head.

Faust: But I do feel that you have finally started to pay attention. My Lord broke all of yours favorite wrestler, Super Tiger. Look at what she has become since Lord Crowley defeated her at Wrestle War. A broken, empty shell of what she once was. This is the fate that awaits the usurper tonight. He was given a chance for mercy. He could have taken My Lord’s offer to bend the knee and defer to My Lord’s rule. All would have been forgiven and the lion could have been given chance to prosper.

Faust lifts his hands as he shrugs.

Faust: Sadly he chose the path that Super Tiger has gone down. A path any who stand in My Lord’s way shall go down. But My Lord is merciful. He is a just and goodly King. All you have to do is bend the knee. Swear your allegiance to him and he shall let you prosper. Refuse his offer and well...

Faust grins wickedly and clasps his hands behind his back.

Faust: Just look at Super Tiger and the usurper lion to see the alternative. Then think about how you want the rest of your life to go. Watch closely tonight what My Lord does to those who dare to defy him. Watch his terrible wrath. Now go, you have been in My Lord and Lady’s presence far too long.

Faust gives a shooing motion with his hand. The camera moves backward away from the trip before fading to black.

The camera shifts backstage where we find Kaede Tanabe walking towards the locker room area, dressed in one of her business suits, tinted shades and her hair up. She looks every bit the professional she fancies herself as. Kaede turns the corner, heading towards SBS’ locker room where her face drops at the sight of something.

Kaede Tanabe: Ugh. Shit.

Amy Connors: Oh! Kaede! Kaede, wait!

Amy comes hurrying into frame and almost runs smack dab into Kaede’s hand as the Japanese woman stops her.

Kaede Tanabe: Bitch, please. Not now. Go interview Kate and Anton or something. Go on. Shoo!

Kaede dismisses a scorned looking Amy as she steps into the locker room, closing the door behind her. The young woman sighs and moved further into the locker room with the camera swinging around behind her as she comes to find SBS. Kayako Kazama appears M.I.A while Yuka Hirata sits on the bench, in her ring gear, hood up, Luchacore Title on the bench next to her. Her head’s down as she bobs along to hype up music in her earbuds. Masami Nishikiyama sits off on another bench, right beside a visiting Kairi Higurashi. Last but not least, there’s Jenn Drew as well. Kaede places her hands together and lets out a long, soft breath.

Kaede Tanabe: Alright look. I know that Royal sucked. It was bullshit. But we bounce back, right? It’s what we do. You did well.

She put a hand on Jenn’s shoulder and squeezed before looking over at Kairi.

Kaede Tanabe: Kairi-chan, you did well, too.

Jenn has a less than pleased expression on her face as she looks at Kaede and nods her head in agreement, but the expression doesn’t change.

Jenn Drew: Super Tiger, she got lucky bouncing me from that battle royal. Hell, everyone knows that if I would have won, you’d be looking at the next Perseverance Champion anyway.

Kairi gave Kaede a small smile of thanks before she sighed gently and let her head drop to rest lightly on Masami’s shoulder.

Kairi Higurashi: Thank you, Kaede-chan. I know Tiggy didn’t mean to eliminate me, as odd as that sounds since it was a battle royal, but it hurts that my cousin was the one to do it.

Masami sits in silence as is common for her on any broadcast. She does, however, hold Kairi with her arms around the woman’s waist, giving her a reassuring squeeze. Kaede, meanwhile, squeezes Jenn’s shoulder and nods.

Kaede Tanabe: Hey, exactly! Battle Royals are tricky. That’s why you can’t hold too much credence in them. I’ve got faith that either one of you would be making the inaugural champion’s reign pretty short if you’d come out on top, but well...we’ll see what comes from who did win.

Kaede makes a face and shrugs. It is what it is, one could suppose. She steps on over to the next member of SBS up for action tonight, looming over Yuka for a moment. Her music is so damn loud, it’s pretty clear it’s a J-Rap track. Kaede even seems to recognize it as she stops herself from disturbing Yuka for a moment until after the faint song reaches a certain point then taps her shoulder. Yuka looks up with a miffed little expression on her face as she pauses her mp3 player and pulls her earbuds out.

Yuka Hirata: You lucky I got past my favorite part.

Kaede Tanabe: Yeah, yeah I know. That’s why I waited. Look. You got your head in the game tonight? We’re 0 for 1 so far. 0 for 2 if you count Kai-chan by proxy. Not their fault, by any means, but this next one’s all you. We can’t all be out there tonight but we’ll be rooting back here, right ladies?

Kaede gives a sweeping glance across the locker room at Jenn, Kairi and Masami. At the position Masami’s at, she nods reassuringly and sticks a fist out to Yuka. The Luchacore Champion reaches out and bumps it. Jenn gives a quick nod in Yuka’s direction, grabbing her book off the shelf and she just starts to write in it, letting Kaede get a quick glance at whatever it was she wrote in the “burn book”. Kaede leans down to look at the entry, stifling a giggle with a hand over her mouth, muttering “oh, you bitch” in an endearing way.

Jenn Drew: Damn right. If anybody knows just how much of a tough bitch you are Yuka, it’s me. We have gone to war twice and you kicked my damn ass the last time. This bitch stuck in the seventies isn’t going to stand a damn chance against you.

Kairi gave a little nod and looked towards Yuka, a reassuring smile crossing her face.

Kairi Higurashi: I haven’t faced you, Yuka, but I’ve watched your matches. I know I wouldn’t want to face you, especially for your title.

Yuka wraps her earbuds around her mp3 player and stuffs it in her bag. She looks to Jenn and shrugs as she grabs her belt up off of the bench beside her.

Yuka Hirata: Shit. Maybe she does, maybe she don’t. She stepped though, so I give her that.

She grins to Kairi then, watching the way Masami’s clinging onto her.

Yuka Hirata: Lookin’ at Masa-chan, I don’t think she’d let me offer it, even.

Yuka and Kaede giggle as Masami’s face grows three shades of pink while she smiles and hides her blushing against Kairi’s neck. A knock on the door causes Kaede to spin around, rolling her eyes.

Kaede Tanabe: For the love of… What is it?!

Voice: Uhh, if Yuka’s ready, the show’s about to start!

Kaede Tanabe: Duh, she’s ready! Bitch is always ready!

Kaede turns and slaps hands with Yuka as the champion stands up.

Voice: Oh good. Also uhh….

Kaede looks at the girls in the locker room, mouthing “I’m gonna kill this motherfucker” before putting her best, forced, “sweet” voice.

Kaede Tanabe: Yeeeees?

Voice: Could one of you come talk to Kayako? She’s trying to hoard all of the donuts and it’s starting to bug a lot of people.

Kaede’s shoulders slump and she presses a finger to her temple.

Kaede Tanabe: Oh goddamn it…. I’ll be right there!

She turns to the others, flexing her hand open and closed in frustration, knowing the battle she, herself, is about to endure in catering.

Kaede Tanabe: Loves, I’ve gotta go deal with this. Matter of fact! Jenn, I’ll love you forever if you back me up on this. Yuka-chan? Head to Gorilla, I’ll meet you there. You two?

She looks to Kairi and Masami and a slow grin crosses her face.

Kaede Tanabe: Heh...don’t do anything I wouldn’t do while we’re gone.

Kaede winks at the couple as she grabs Jenn and leads the way out of the locker room. Yuka cracks her neck to both sides and rolls her shoulders before heading out herself. Masami lifts her head, watching them go with a confused look on her face before shrugging and cozying up to Kairi more as the shot fades out.

In the center of the ring, Thea Crawford stands with the microphone ready as the opening vignette concludes and the commentary team finishes welcoming viewers before turning it over to her.

Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen, this your opening contest! It is scheduled for one fall and is a LuchaCore Match for the LUCHACORE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

The Chicago crowd starts getting rowdy as Thea lowers the microphone and waits….

A disco ball lowers over the ring, as Born to Be Alive starts to play. While the globe shaped object starts to rotate, Debby Haze skates out onto the stage. Before making her way to the ring, Deb starts to roller disco.

Once the dance is over, debby puts on a display of skating prowess. Spinning, and playing to the crowd, as she inches her way to the ring.

Thea Crawford: Introducing first, she is the challenger! From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! The Disco Diva...DEBBY...HAAAAAAZE!!

Once Debby reaches ringside, she removes her strap on skates, and pushes them under the ring. After a few more seconds with the fans, Deb rolls under the bottom rope, and into the ring.

The lights to the arena dim down, shrouding the audience in darkness. The darkness remains during the buildup of the song. When the music fully kicks in, the dark arena comes to life with flashing lights of various colors, giving the arena a more rave club or concert look to it.

When the lyrics start, Yuka Hirata steps out through the curtain. She shakes her fists at her sides, bobbing her lowered head to the music as she comes to stand in the center of the stage. Right behind her, Kaede Tanabe strolls out in one of her high end suits with her tinted shades. She stands by Yuka, waving an arm to present her client to the crowd.

Yuka goes to her knees, performing a very brief Wai Kru. She slams her fists down on the stage and pops up onto her feet with a yell. Pyro goes off. Yuka and Kaede descend the steps to the walkway and emerge from the smoke, making a straight path to the ring.

Thea Crawford: "Making her way to the ring! Being accompanied by Kaede Tanabe! From Tokyo, Japan!! She represents the Super Bitch Squad! She is the LuchaCore Champion...YUUUUKA...HIIIIIIIIRATAAAAAAA!!"

On the way down the walkway, she chastises the audience, pointing to herself and dismissively waving them off. Upon reaching the ring, Yuka picks up into a jog and hops up, sliding sideways under the bottom rope and rolling to her feet. Kaede ascends the steps and enters the ring in her own elegant way, before walking over to give Yuka some final words and a fist bump. Yuka then removes her entrance haori, folds it and hands it to Kaede. Yuka then removes her towel from over her neck and wipes any perspiration from her face before tossing it over the ropes and stares across the ring at her opponent.

Andrew Payne: March Mayhem III is about to get underway and we’re gonna kick things off with a Luchacore Championship match!

Miranda Augustino: ¡Simón, carnal! That’s how you kick off a pay-per-view, baby! Let’s go!

Andrew Payne: Looks like we got some company for this contest. Hello, Kaede!

Kaede Tanabe: Hello, Mr. Payne. Charmed, I’m sure! Say, doesn’t Yuka look ready for anything, in there?

Miranda Augustino: Yeah but so does Debby and you can’t sleep on Ms. Saturday Night!

Kaede Tanabe: Oh, we sleep on nobody, dear. We come ready for war and confident of victory!

~DING DING DING~

The bell had rung but the action didn’t kick off immediately. Rather, the two competitors met in the center of the ring and began their jawjacking. There was Yuka, snappy and full of anger as usual while Debby kept a smile on her face and had that sassy air about her. No clue what they were going back and forth about exactly but it wound up with Debby sticking a hand in Yuka’s face. She backed up a few steps and began to bust out some of her disco dance moves. The crowd definitely got behind her, cheering and hollering as Yuka stood there, just staring.

Crowd: GO DEBBY! GO DEBBY! GO DEBBY! GO DEBBY!

Andrew Payne: Looks like we’re having a little dance off here!

Kaede Tanabe: Gee, I thought this was supposed to be a wrestling match.

Miranda Augustino: Aww, c’mon now! Debby got some moves!!! Whoooo!!! Go Debby! Go Debby!

Debby finished her short dance number with a split then popped up to her feet, giving Yuka a quick once over as if to ask what she had to come back with. Yuka looked around at the crowd then down at the commentary table to Kaede who just shrugged and made a motion for her to do what she wanted. Yuka turned slowly to Debby again and backed up a bit more, adding distance before responding with her own dance number. Yuka’s looked more like a breakdance routine - something out of a Tokyo club with some suggestive innuendos to it but the crowd seemed into it, if not pleasantly surprised.

Andrew Payne: Champ’s got some moves too, it looks like!

Miranda Augustino: Yeah she does!

Kaede Tanabe: She used to be on the Step Team in school. Of course she’s got moves.

Crowd: YU-KA! YU-KA! YU-KA! YU-KA!

Even Debby leaned back with a smirk on her face and led the crowd in applause for Yuka. Hirata ended her number with a spinout and landed in a kunoichi pose before slowly rising up. Debby continued to clap, nodding in approval as she seemed to be giving Yuka props. The tentative moment came when Debby stuck her hand out for a low five. Again, Yuka looked around at the anticipating crowd with that devilish little smirk on her face. Nonetheless, she eventually reached out and slapped Debby’s hand and the two fist bumped each other. The crowd approved, Debby clapped and motioned for them to get louder and Yuka kicked her right in the midsection, instantly turning the cheers to boos as she grabbed Debby around the back of the head and started laying in with the forearms.

Andrew Payne: Aww, well I guess good things never last but here we go, this match is on!

Kaede Tanabe: Hey, we came here to wrestle for a title, not cut a rug. Let’s go Yu-chan! Kanojo ni todomari nasai!

Miranda Augustino: What was that last part?

Kaede Tanabe: Don’t worry about it.

Yuka kept up with the forearms until she had Debby backed up against the ropes and started throwing the knees in next. The referee wasn’t able to do anything, of course, due to the No Disqualification rule. Yuka pushed off and whipped Debby across the ring and went for a spinning heel kick but Debby ducked under the leg and hit a handspring into the ropes as Yuka twisted around. Debby came back, going for a handspring cutter but Yuka caught her right around the waist and used her momentum to snap her back into a Bridging German Suplex, holding for the surprise early cover!

TW--KICKOUT!

Debby got out of the bridge and rolled back up to her feet as Yuka sat up and rolled up onto one knee, facing her. Debby threw a kick but Yuka blocked it with her forearms. The Disco Diva threw another kick but Yuka deflected that one and exploded up with another Strong Style forearm to the jaw. Debby was rocked and Yuka grabbed her, whipping her into the ropes again but this time, she hit a Tiger Feint Kick to put herself out onto the apron. Yuka ran in but Debby thrusted her shoulder through the top and middle rope, hitting Yuka in the midsection, then gave her a stiff shot to the jaw right back. Yuka stumbled backwards and Debby hopped up, springing off of the top rope for a jawdropping perfect Missile Dropkick. Yuka hit the mat and Debby popped up to her feet, striking a quick disco dance pose before hitting a Standing Moonsault onto the champion. She started going for a cover but Yuka shoved her right off and rolled out of the ring to put a distance between them. Debby wasn’t about to let up, however and she hopped to her feet, ran off the ropes and came in for what looked to be a Tope Suicida but as Yuka looked ready to defend for it, Debby just kipped forward into another handspring, bounced back off the ropes and struck another pose instead, cheering to the crowd. Yuka had a moment to look back at Kaede in confusion but it was all Debby needed as she grabbed the top rope and jumped up, swinging herself through the ropes as Yuka started turning back to her and hit a pendulum dropkick, knocking Yuka backwards into the table.

Kaede Tanabe: YU-CHAN!!

Andrew Payne: Right out in front of us here! Almost on top of us!

Miranda Augustino: This shit’s going from 0 to 100 real quick, bitches!

Kaede Tanabe: Yuka! C’mon! Stay with it!

Debby got to her feet and stayed right on Yuka, standing her up against the commentary table and laid in with the knife edge chops to the chest. Ms. Saturday Night led the crowd in a “WOOO” with each chop that she dished out. Her strikes resounded with painful smack sounds that had Yuka reeling. She motioned to the crowd that she had something else for that ass but in the time it took her to announce this, Yuka responded quickly, seizing the small window of opportunity and grabbed Debby by the head, ramming her face into the announce table. Debby rebounded off and Yuka grabbed her by the back of the head, running her into the ring post and sending her to the floor, giving herself another few seconds to recover from the painful chops.

Miranda Augustino: Goddamn, this one’s turning into a fight! I love it!

Kaede Tanabe: Yuka! Yuka! Back in the game, c’mon! Isoide! Isoide!

Andrew Payne: Both these ladies are bringing out all the stops for this match! Hey, where you going?!

Kaede Tanabe: Excuse me a moment!

As Yuka began motioning for Kaede to dig stuff out from under the ring, she went back to Debby as the Disco Diva was recovering from her collision into the ringpost. Kaede proceeded to pull out an assortment of weapons, tossing some into the ring while leaving some out on the floor. She slid one table inside before pulling another out. She seemed to be having trouble setting it up in her heels so the SBS manager motioned for Andrew or Miranda to come over but both refused. Kaede rolled her eyes and motioned for one of the Spanish commentators to come over and help. It took some urging but one of them eventually got up and made his way over to see what she wanted. He seemed to be disagreeing with Kaede, obviously feeling he shouldn’t get involved but Kaede seemed to insist, motioning to her feet and put on one of her smiles, finally winning the commentator over and the man set the table up for her. Kaede smiled, pulled the man in by his tie and planted a kiss on his cheek before booping him on the nose. He walked back to the table with a little blush on his face. Kaede, too, returned to the main commentary table.

Kaede Tanabe: Ah, there we are!

Miranda Augustino: Fuck you doing?!

Kaede Tanabe: Uhh, it’s called my job, bitch! Duh!

Andrew Payne: I’m not sure managing talent is supposed to involve interfering in their matches.

Kaede Tanabe: Hey don’t be upset just because your manager, or whatever she was, at the start of your career, sucked.

Back to the action, Yuka was wearing Debby down with some forearms across the back and kicks to the ribs before walking over to grab one of the chairs Kaede had pulled out. Yuka cocked the chair up and swung but Debby made it out of the way, leaving the chair to smack against the steel barricade. Yuka turned but Debby was waiting from behind and caught her with a double axe handle to the chest, causing her to drop the chair. Debby then sent her into the barricade with another Irish whip, and Yuka hit it with full force. Debby picked up the chair, testing it against the apron much to the approval of the crowd as she then moved towards Yuka. Debby brandished the chair, asking Yuka if this was how she wanted to play it. Yuka sat there, arms draped over the barricade to hold herself up and dared Debby to take her best shot. Debby reared the chair up, feigning a direct swing but drew it back and drove the rim of the backrest into Yuka’s ribs. Debby set the chair up, unfolding it and placed it down a few feet away before backing up and signaling for something big. The crowd popped, then, as Debby got a running start, used the chair as a springing device to get some air and hit Yuka with a Shotgun Missile Dropkick so hard, it sent the younger woman over the barricade and into the front row!

Miranda Augustino: HOLY SHIT!!!

Andrew Payne: And a big dropkick launches the champion over the barricade!!

Kaede Tanabe: I ain’t gonna take away anything from Debby. She’s got heart and talent, I’ll give her that much.

Debby got back up and started to over the barricade but she got one leg over before reconsidering and stepped back over to ringside. She moved the chair closer to the barricade then and started motioning for the crowd to get up and out of the way as Yuka started making it to her feet. The path was clear then and Debby got another running start, springing up off of the chair again, cleared the gap and kicked off of the barricade, coming down at Yuka with a cannonball senton that sent both women crashing into the rows of empty chairs left by the fans that had cleared out of the way. They were going nuts now, as Debby and Yuka laid sprawled out on the arena floor. Debby looked like she instantly regretted her decision while Yuka looked worse for wear, but it allowed the Disco Diva to roll over onto her stomach and crawl over to try for a cover on the “Akai Okami.”

Andrew Payne: And somehow, Yuka Hirata kicks out after that high risk maneuver by Debby Haze!!!!

Miranda Augustino: That shit was CRAAAAAAZY!!!

Kaede Tanabe: She’s a damn warrior, that’s why! C’MON, YUKA!! GET UP!!!!

Debby pulled herself up to her feet, grimacing from the pain in her body as she went to pull Yuka up. Yuka was up on one foot and a knee, leaning against her opponent. Debby picked her up to her feet and set Yuka up for a suplex onto the floor but as she got the Joshi up in the air, the young spitfire fought against the lift and reversed the attempt into a big DDT, shockingly spiking Debby against the floor. Yuka sat up, panting and wincing before she laid back on the cold arena floor, fans screaming around her and Debby before both women began showing signs of life. Yuka got up first this time, pulling herself up on an unfolded chair before snapping it closed. She leaned on it, supporting herself, as Debby made it up to her feet but before she could straighten herself up, Yuka raised the chair and brought it across her spine with a loud SMACK! That straightened Debby’s posture out real quick as she snapped up. Yuka brought the chair down again, this time over Debby’s head, unfolding it and leaving it around her head and neck with the woman staggering around on her feet. Yuka bent down, wincing from it, and picked up another chair to use while Debby tried feebly to get the chair off from around her head. Yuka raised the chair up and brought it down first, snapping the one around Debby’s head closed as much as it could go, that is, and Debby dropped to one knee. Yuka then cocked the chair back and swung for the fences, whacking the chair on Debby’s head from the side and knocking it loose enough to come off while Debby collapsed to the floor. Yuka threw the chair in her hands aside and stumbled over to her opponent to go for another cover.

Andrew Payne: DEBBY HAZE KEEPS THIS MATCH GOING!! HOW IN THE WORLD?!

Miranda Augustino: I think Kaede’s speechless, Andy!!!

Andrew Payne: She looks it!!

Yuka was picking Debby, now with blood oozing down her face from the first chair shot across the head, up to her feet now and walking her back over to the front of the crowd where she threw her over to ringside and leaned against the barricade, yelling for her to get up. As Debby started rolling over to get up onto all fours, however, Yuka grabbed a chair from a fan who was trying to sit down and set it up like another springboard. Just as Debby was on her hands and knees, Yuka came running, jumped off of the chair, over the barricade and down onto Debby for a big double foot stomp to her back, driving her right back down onto the padded floor!!!

Kaede Tanabe: YES!!! YES!!!! STAY ON HER, YU-CHAN!!!!!!!

Andrew Payne: OH, GOOD GOD!!! DRIVEN RIGHT INTO THE PADDED FLOOR!! Yes, fans, there’s padding, but believe me when I say it isn’t that thick.

Miranda Augustino: That could have done some real damage!

Yuka was back in control now as she pulled Debby up and started feeding her every strike she could pull out of her book. Chops, forearms, palm strikes, knees, just laying into Ms. Saturday Night with a growing rage until she Irish whipped her across the floor, sending Debby running clear into the timekeeper’s table on the other end. Debby kept herself near vertical as she turned to see Yuka sprinting right towards her with a blood curdling battle cry.

Yuka Hirata: DEBBYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

Yuka left the ground, diving right at Debby, going for a huge Shotgun Dropkick of her own but Debby hit the damn deck and the Red Wolf went clear over the woman, sliding across the table and into the timekeeper’s chair and the barricade again. The table tipped over and the bell went flying and Yuka laid in a crumpled heap on her side as Debby fought her way back up and went for her opponent. From the commentary table, both announcers and Kaede Tanabe were on their feet, all trying to see what was going on for different reasons. It was Kaede who looked gravely concerned for the bump her client had just taken as Debby dug Yuka out from under the timekeeper’s table and the cloth cover. Debby walked her over to the ring and rolled her up onto the apron before climbing up there herself. As she picked Yuka back up, the two started trading shots again, throwing stiff forearms back and forth but Yuka finally landed a European Uppercut and a headbutt that caused Debby to spin around. A quick look behind her and Yuka realized they were right by the table that Kaede had set up (or had the commentator from the Spanish team set up, more precisely). She grabbed Debby and, to the fright of the audience and the announce team, started trying for a Back Body Drop but Debby wasn’t having it as she clung to the top rope to keep herself from being lifted up for the maneuver. She was also throwing her elbow down into Yuka’s head, neck and trapezius muscle to keep herself from going up. Once her feet were back on the apron, she locked her arm around Yuka’s head and figured “fuck it”, kicking her feet up off of the ropes and using the momentum to spin around!! Wait, she wasn’t about to...Yes she was!!!! PURPLE HAZE THROUGH THE TABLE!!!!

Andrew Payne: DEAR GOD!!!

Miranda Augustino: HOLY SHIT!!!

Kaede said nothing but a quick cut to the commentary table showed the manager standing up with her hands over her mouth, looking sincerely concerned. The table had essentially exploded from the impact of both women crashing through it. Debby laid writhing on the floor, until she turned over and exposed a fresh laceration on her back. Yuka laid face down on the floor on top of the majority of the rubble. Pieces of shattered wood and bent up metal framing. Kaede Tanabe was out of her chair, standing off with the headset cord as far as it would go without yanking the headset off, calling to her client. Debby got to her feet and confronted Kaede, warning her not to try and interfere. For once, Kaede threw her hands up and backed away.

Kaede Tanabe: Girl, chill! I ain’t doing shit! I’m checking on her!

Andrew Payne: That all you’re doing?

Kaede Tanabe: My best friend just went face first through a fucking table, Payne! Yes, I’m a little concerned!! Do not fuck with me right now!!

Andrew Payne: Alright, alright, calm down. I apologize.

Miranda Augustino: You need to chill out, girl.

Kaede Tanabe: And you need to shut the fuck up, bitch!!

Miranda Augustino: Oh, what’chu gonna do?

Kaede Tanabe: Don’t let the classy suit and designer shades fool you, bitch, I’ll fuckin--

Andrew Payne: Hey, hey, whoa!!! Both of you!!!! Enough!!!

Kaede Tanabe: What the hell are you still looking at, Haze?! You gonna do something? I wish you would!

Debby wasn’t about to swing on a manager, though. It was never her style. Instead, she turned back towards her opponent as Yuka slowly started pushing herself up onto all fours and held onto the apron. The crowd reacted as a camera cut showed the front of Yuka’s face. Now, she too, was bleeding profusely from going face first through the table. Debby picked her up and pushed her into the ring, crawling in after her as Yuka flopped over onto her back. Debby dragged herself on top of the young Joshi and hooked the leg!!

Andrew Payne: This has gotta be it. Yuka can’t have anything left in the tank!

Miranda Augustino: ARE YOU KIDDING, RIGHT NOW?!

Kaede Tanabe: C’mon, Yu-chan!!!! That’s my bad bitch!!!! Let’s go!!!!!

Yuka’s shoulder shot up off of the mat and Debby rolled off, with her hands covering her bloodied face in anguish. She got up to her feet again and backed across the ring as Yuka started getting up. Once she was up on her knees, Debby came running in for another big finish attempt as she threw knees up, flying into Yuka violently with SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!! Yuka went down hard with Debby hooking the legs under her arms for another cover.

Andrew Payne: SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!! THAT’S IT!!

Kaede Tanabe: FUCK!!!!

Miranda Augustino: Hey, Kaede where the hell---?

HSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Just after the referee hit the mat for “two”, Kaede was right there at the apron, sticking her arm through the ropes and hitting Debby Haze with the Pepper Spray! Debby let go of Yuka’s legs and grabbed at her face, allowing Yuka to get the shoulder up as the Disco Diva fell to the side. The referee couldn’t do much else other than ask Kaede what the hell she was doing as Yuka got up to her feet. She did a quick look around, finding Kaede as the manager slapped the mat and pointed frantically at Debby, telling her to “go go go!” Yuka ran over to where Debby was wiping at her burning eyes and scooped her up, lifting her vertically up for...KIRISUTE GOMEN!!!! She hit the drop and transitioned right into the choke hold, keeping Debby from being able to reach her face with her hands. Debby tried and tried, writhed and struggled to get free but looked like she was starting to fade until she finally tapped on Yuka’s arm to signal the submission.

Miranda Augustino: Oh goddamn it!!!

Thea Crawford: Here is your winner and STILL the Luchacore Champion!! YUKA...HIRATA!!!!!

Andrew Payne: A win and retain by the champion but not without the help of Kaede Tanabe! I knew it was too good to be true!

Miranda Augustino: I don’t get it, either! It’s not like Yuka needs the help of this bitch! The kid can go in the ring!

Andrew Payne: I don’t think we’ll ever understand it, Mir. I just hope Debby Haze is okay after that disgusting interference. That can’t feel good.

Miranda Augustino: Yeah, trust me. It don’t.

Andrew Payne: Wait, how would you know what---

Miranda Augustino: Ahh, don’t worry about it.

The referee immediately made Yuka let her go and the SBS member rolled out of the ring as the ring doctor hurried into the ring with a bottle of water to flush Debby’s face. Kaede Tanabe grabbed the Luchacore title and handed it to Yuka Hirata as the two made their escape up the walkway. The crowd BOOOOOOOO’ed Yuka as she looked into the ring, watching the activity unfold. Slowly though...a smile creeped across her face. She seemed oddly pleased with what had transpired as she looked at her hand, noticing some of Debby’s blood on her palm from applying the rear naked choke hold of her maneuver. Shaking with laughter, Yuka wiped the blood onto the gritty looking sawblade center plate of the title then held it up for the camera to see.

Yuka Hirata: Shinsen'na chi, beibī!

Yuka laughed while Kaede slapped her on the back and let out a cheer, throwing up the SBS hand sign to the camera. Yuka draped the belt over her shoulder and did the same as Debby Haze finally sat up in the ring, red eyed with blood and water dripping down her face. To say she was pissed off was an understatement. The normally happy Disco Diva shunned the referee and doctor away for a moment as she got up to her feet and kicked the bottom rope. She watched Yuka and Kaede retreat through the left tunnel, fuming in silence.

Winner: Yuka Hirata (Still Champion)

We cut backstage to the locker room belonging to “Unbreakable” Stacy Jones as she’s finishing up getting herself ready for her title match coming up. After finishing up tying her boot laces, she stands to her feet and looks into the camera.

Stacy Jones: Perseverance… to persist in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. That has been a constant throughout my near twelve year career in this industry. It took me ten years… ten long years of hard work and determination to finally become a World Champion. But I persisted… I persevered… and I finally won the big one.

The Unbreakable One grabs her custom black leather jacket and puts it on.

Stacy Jones: Tonight… I have the opportunity to make history… much like I have done many times over my career… I have the chance to become the first ever NFW Perseverance Champion. And I know it ain’t gonna be easy… it never is easy… but I’ve always enjoyed a challenge and I’ve always said that if it’s easy, it’s no fun.

Jones crosses her arms across her stomach.

Stacy Jones: My four opponents tonight are Solomon Graham, Legion, Faye Brown and Cali-Kate. Two of these people, I’m very familiar with… those being Faye and Kate. I went to school with Faye… and I ain’t gonna get into details about those years because quite frankly, it’s irrelevant now. And then the other is Kate… the two of us have history. We’ve faced off against each other… and we’ve fought alongside each other.

She smirks slightly.

Stacy Jones: And then there are the two who I’m not that familiar with, however I am well aware of who they are in Legion and Solomon Graham.

Unfolding her arms, she now places them on her hips.

Stacy Jones: The reality of the situation is this. I am stepping into the ring with four tough competitors… it’s going to be one Hell of a match for sure and everyone involved all have the same goal in mind and that is to become the first ever Perseverance Champion.

Removing her plain black beanie from her jacket pocket, she then puts it on her head.

Stacy Jones: Time to make some history again. I’ll see you out there.

Jones then disappears off of camera as we cut elsewhere.

A camera walks in on Perseverance Title Match contender Faye Brown and her boyfriend and manager Logan Bailey poring over a big piece of fairly thin cardboard. With short green hair, and new gear that's all white with old gold trim (and displaying her new tattoo), complete with glasses, Faye's apparently putting final touches on said cardboard.

Faye Brown: "OK, so you've got her here... him there... her there... her down here... and me right there in the upper middle, right?"

Logan Bailey: "Yes, ma'am."

Faye Brown: "Was the heart necessary, though?"

Logan Bailey: "It was... why?"

Faye Brown: "Huh? Oh, no reason, it's fine. All right, I've gotta explain it to the fans here. Cameraman just walked in."

Logan simply nods as he looks to the camera as Faye does.

Faye Brown: "OK! Hi there! You may have noticed the chart on our table here, and if you're a regular denizen of the internet, you'll instantly recognize what it is."

With a cheesy grin, Brown holds the chart up, revealing Lawful Good on the top left, Chaotic Evil on the bottom right, and everything in between. There are five faces upon the chart, one of which belongs to Faye herself. That one's surrounded by a heart, because of course it is.

Faye Brown: "It's an alignment chart! He made it!"

Bailey holds his hand up for a split-second, with his grin basically mirroring Faye's own, except less "million-dollar" and more "wannabe Warner."

Logan Bailey: "I made that!"

Faye Brown: "And it's terrific, babe! It's going up on the fridge when we get home! Anyway, you'll notice all five of the people in this match are on here. Stacy Jones, Cali-Kate, Solomon Graham, Legion of The Hive, and me. I'mma start with the one in the top left..."

With a fake clearing of her throat, Faye points to Stacy's face.

Faye Brown: "Stacy Jones. I'll keep it short with you. Yeah, we're friends. No, we're not gonna go easy. Going easy on you would be disrespectful and you know that. Hell, you're the one who taught ME that. You're the kind who would rather go all out regardless of who won to get into this match. Even if it were just four of The Soz, you'd go all out. Since that's the case, I know your maximum. But you're only about to see what mine truly is. I've never lived up to my potential in anything else I've ever done, no matter how hard I've tried. I didn't do it in general life, I couldn't do it in music, I couldn't even do it at the damn Walmart in Halls. Some of it was my fault, some of it was just bad luck, some of it was because record companies are shitdicks. Wrestling is the one place I can finally do that, and I'll be damned if I let you or anyone else throw away my shot at finally reaching even a part of my potential in something. You're the only one in this match I fully like and will continue to like afterwards, and if I'm saying this kind of shit to you? Look at the venom I've got for everyone else."

Logan's eyebrows raise by the end of Faye's speech, with one lowering back down in a somewhat exaggerated manner.

Logan Bailey: "Did... you have to go that hard on Stacy? I don't think she'd go that hard on you..."

Faye Brown: "She'd appreciate that I'm not giving her any special treatment. I'd be doing her a disservice if I gave her that... and she knows it. But don't worry, she's probably still the one I'm going the easiest on. She hasn't slighted me. She never even so much as reported me to the principal's office for my shit in high school. Looking back, I wish she had, but that's with 15 years of hindsight. You'll hate what I'm about to say, Logan, because it's from a Disney film. Stacy told me this a few days ago. 'The past can hurt. But you can either run from it or learn from it.' Thing is, I don't run."

Logan Bailey: "You don't. I was never a fan of The Lion King, honestly..."

Faye Brown: "You're not a fan of any Disney movies."

Logan Bailey: "I grew up on Warner Brothers stuff, man... literally the first show I ever watched was Animaniacs."

Faye Brown: "And look how that shaped you."

There's only a light snicker from Logan before Faye looks back to the camera.

Faye Brown: "Aaaaaanyway, next, we're going down and to the middle. True neutral. Solomon Graham. The very epitome of it among the five in this match. Our wants are pretty much the same, as far as I'm aware. We want to win the Perseverance Title, which... no shit. We want to defend it against as many people as possible as much as possible. We're willing to cross promotions to make sure everyone knows exactly what the fuck we are. I can respect the hustle, the drive, the want, the passion, all of that. But this is far from in the bag for you. There are four others in this match with as much passion who want that title just as well, and who want to do all of that with said title."

Bailey holds a finger up for a second.

Logan Bailey: "But you don't wrestle anywhere else."

Brown blinks and slightly shakes her head, her focus remaining on the camera.

Faye Brown: "That's not the point. The point is when the desire to win and make something important is shared among literally every one of your opponents, then the entire concept ironically becomes unimportant. Because desire simply turns into wasted dreams if you lose, and then what are ya left with?"

Logan Bailey: "Well, you've still got a job... people who adore you and-or hate you... sometimes both..."

Faye Brown: "...don't hurt yourself, babe. Let me finish this one, yeah?"

Logan Bailey: "All right..."

Faye Brown: "Anyway, you're only left with a body and a name. And sure, a job with fans. You'll be back next show, still fighting for your self interests, but nothing more. Because you didn't bring anything unique to the big dance. And is that really a career worth living?"

There's another awkward silence.

Faye Brown: "Well, that was sad. Let's stay sad and head over to the evil side of the chart... and you know what, let's hit chaotic first. Legion. I honestly don't buy that you're going to fight with honor. I haven't since I first talked to you. You lead The Hive. Literally, with the snap of your fingers, you could just... you could just win. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, because out would come The Hive, you could just climb the post and the rope as they fight everyone, and then you pull the title down. Don't act like that thought hasn't crossed your mind, because it crossed mine! You're the one who would thrive the most under pure chaos, because you're the best equipped for chaos. To cause it, to survive it, and to win through it. In this match, there's a former Undisputed Champion, a former VoW Xcel Champion, and a king of the juniors, but you're the one who scared me the most because of that."

Faye places her index finger upon her pierced nose to the right, as she looks off in the distance.

Faye Brown: "But you know what?"

Brown locks her eyes with the camera again, out of her "trance."

Faye Brown: "That was until tonight. Because it hit me as soon as I left the Intrepid... the person I'll talk about next has the same thing. Hell, even I've got Logan. He's a person who's more cartoon character than man, but that still counts for something in terms of back up. What's to stop Kate or me from doing the same thing you could do and negating it all? Yeah, you're the best equipped, but... when half of your opponents can negate your advantage, what are you left with other than an admittedly sexy loo--OH RIGHT! The honor thing. You know, that thing that literally doesn't matter in a match like what we're going to be in? That, and Stacy's got enough of that for the rest of us. You wonder why people were "forgetting about you?" I finally figured it out: all of that."

Brown inhales deeply before prepping herself for her final opponent to talk about.

Faye Brown: "And finally, aside from myself... neutral evil. Cali-Kate. Fucking Cali-Kate. Waaaah, Eavan slapped me! Waaaah, video game and pop culture references! Waaaaaaah, look at my fake tits as I gloat about basically nothing! Waaaaah, I'm gonna win the Perseverance title because past accolades in NFW! Waaaaah, I abandoned the Jedi way even though I have no way of knowing if you even care! Waaaaah, no one takes me seriously because my Twitter account might as well be an OnlyFans account! Waaaaah! Shut the fuck up. I geddit. You're supposed to be the big bad of Trauma after Anton Crowley, who by the way? He's also a whiny bitch who dresses like a wifebeater, so no wonder you two go together. You're such a big bad, but you're also supposed to have gone through shit? You're supposed to be in any way sympathetic?"

Faye's expression becomes very embittered as a scowl crosses her lips. Her eyes seemingly find a fire and she can barely contain any rage she feels.

Faye Brown: "Try being homeless. Try divorcing Anton only for him to take EVERYTHING from you, from your land to your dog. Try having NFW release YOU from your supposedly iron-clad contract, only for them to receive all royalties on whatever merch with your face on it sells. Like what Transcontinental did to me. Try not earning a cent for two years straight and having NOTHING to fall back on. Don't you fucking lecture me about perseverance, because you don't know the first goddamn thing about it!"

Brown pauses for a second to let her words sink in.

Faye Brown: "Yeah, you're a former Undisputed Champion. Congrats, here's what you'll magically leave out about your reign. You never actually successfully defended that title, and you may as well have handed it to that whiny bitch you call a head of a house. Emelie Sanclemente, that girl you brought up to Eavan before when Eavan was talking about chasing the Undisputed Title? She's a better champion than you ever were. Statistically, she held that title for longer, defended it more successfully than you, and only lost once before dropping the title in a gauntlet match. Receptively, she was the most popular thing in that building every single show she was on. The highest viewed Trauma in history right now? She was the reason for that because people wanted to see her as champion. That Emelie could probably come back tomorrow and crush the rest of Trauma without a second fucking thought. And before you "clap" back with "wElL, I bEaT hEr?" From what I saw watching replays of Trauma, you beat a shell of a possessor who was using her as a vessel. You didn't beat Emelie. Emelie was there in name only at that point. Sure, the record book says so, but books rarely, if ever, tell the full story. With all this knowledge, where the fuck do you get off thinking that anything you've done since "aBaNdOnInG tHe jEdI wAy" has been worthy television or worthy of whining your way into getting a match that all but lets you into this Perseverance Title match? You want perseverance?"

Faye quickly picks up the chart and points to her face, up at neutral good.

Faye Brown: "That girl, right there."

Then to Stacy's face back at lawful good.

Faye Brown: "And that girl, there, too. Don't fucking talk about perseverance, you stupid fucking fake-ass gamer girl wannabe piece of shit."

There's some silence following Faye's words, as Logan's jaw dropped at some point during Faye's speech.

Logan Bailey: "Faye, holy shit... I didn't know you hated her that much."

Faye holds up a finger to Logan as she's composed herself just a little.

Faye Brown: "Oh, but see, that's the funny thing, Logan. I don't. Even after all that I just said, I don't hate her. I can't. I can't hate someone who's misguided. I know there's a hint of a good person in there somewhere. You wouldn't have been drawn to her if there weren't. God only knows where, exactly, that person is, but that's why I called her "fake-ass." Because no matter how much she says what she says, and tries to present it as truth? No matter how she plays dress up and pretends to be someone who's seen shit? No matter how much fire she can sell to the devil, what does all that make her at the end, really? From what I see, it makes her a hell of a saleswoman... but a pretender, nonetheless. When you press her on what substance she has, it all falls apart. It's a facade. It's just as much of a facade as the Phantom Lord Emelie she beat. You want proof, babe? Go ask her what she really wants and how much this match and that Perseverance Title actually means to her. Because the answer you find will be the same dribble she's been spouting since she was handed her qualifying match."

There's an exhale as Faye finally fully composes herself.

Faye Brown: "Anyway... y'all saw there was one more face on this chart. It had a heart surrounding it and everything. It's me. I'm that one more face. Let me set for you my situation. This match is my fourth one ever. I have next-to-no experience. I have no accolades or titles to my name. This Perseverance Title match is my first ever title match, and I don't know if I'll ever get another shot at any other titles. I'm gonna be the smallest one in that ring, bar none, to the point that I'm pretty sure the ref is gonna be bigger than me. In every sense of the word, I'm going to be the runt of the litter. But I'm used to it. I've been used to it since graduating from high school. I was originally supposed to go to Syracuse University, until they rejected my application. Should I have applied to other colleges? Maybe. But I was also a dumb high school senior with tunnel vision when it came to college. I had two albums when I was writing and playing music, they didn't sell well whatsoever. And they don't even get to be mine anymore. I had a wrestling wife who made it to the big time, only to come home and never be able to turn that side off. Guess who won the divorce there! I've spent my entire life not living up to my potential. Being told "you can't do it" and the person telling me be right. But here I am now. I'm the living embodiment of perseverance. When I've gotten knocked down, I've gotten back up every single time, and tonight's only going to be different because when I come down, I'll be coming down as a champion. Envision it... and tell 'em what they're gonna hear in a few minutes, babe."

Logan Bailey: "Here is your winner, and THE FIRST! EVER! NEW FRONTIER WRESTLING PERSEVERANCE CHAMPION! FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYE BROOOOOOOOOOOOWN!"

With that, the two walk out of their locker room, seemingly en route to their destiny.

Thea Crawford: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the NFW Trios Championship!

Molly Hatchet's “Cornbread Mafia” starts playing and the two young southern brothers, Cameron and Shawn Worley, walk out nodding their heads along, their larger, jollier cousin, Big Bubba Thompson, following them out. The three make their way down to the ring, looking just as ready to party as they are to fight, which to them is almost the same thing anyway. They step into the ring, hooping and hollering, ready to go with whatever they got tonight.

Thea Crawford: Introducing first, the challengers, wrestling out of West Union, South Carolina and weigting in at a total combined weight of 761 pounds, the team of Shawn Worley, Cameron Worley and Big Bubba Thompson, THE CORNBREAD MAFIA!

Lacuna Coil's “Die & Rise” starts up. With lights dancing around, Nikki Peltier leads out the members of Arsenal to the delight of the on-looking crowd. Bethany Kenyon sways slightly trying to tantalize and only tease a little while her younger sister, Ashley Kenyon, tries to make eye contact with every person in the place, hoping to tease them all into a frenzy. Jeszika Gautier enjoys the show whilst adding a bit of her own. Nikki leads them to the ring where she walks to the center of the ring and points to opposite corners, upon which both sisters raise their arms, Bethany just standing there while Ashley dances a little for everybody. Jeszika walks to the middle of the ropes between them and raises her arms as well, all of them making sure everybody sees the Arsenal of girl power here in the NFW.

Thea Crawford: And their opponents, they are the current, reigning, defending NFW Trios Champions, at a total combined weight of 435 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Nikki Peltier, the team of Bethany Kenyon, Ashley Kenyon and Jeszika Gautier, ARSENAL!!!

Once both teams are in the ring, Jessica Clarkson spins the wheel on the stage. The crowd looks on with anticipation as the wheel slows to a stop.

Jessica Clarkson: Ladies and gentlemen, this match will be a Texas Tornado match!

Andrew Payne: Whoa now! How about that?!

Miranda Augustino: Well let’s have us a fucking Texas Tornado match then!!!!

~DING DING DING~

Arsenal look to each other and Jeszika and Ashley quickly pair off with Shawn and Cameron, respectively. They start to exchange punches, Arsenal, Cornbread, Arsenal, Cornbread, Arsenal, Cornbread, Arsenal, Cornbread. The Worley Brothers start to win the fistfight and go for big clotheslines. Jeszika and Ashley duck the onrushing onslaught and the Worleys run right past their targets. As the Worleys stop near the ropes, Jeszika and Ashley hit them with dual dropkicks that catch both brothers off-guard and send them tumbling over the top to the floor. As Jeszika and Ashley get back to their feet, Big Bubba comes running over and hits a double clothesline that puts down both women. Bethany comes rushing in and Bubba catches her for a pop-up Bubba Bomb.

TWO!

BETHANY KICKS OUT!

Bubba starts to stand up and Jeszika comes running in for a leg lariat. Bubba staggers. Ashley comes running in and launches herself off of Jeszika’s back for poetry in motion. Bubba staggers again. Bethany gets to her feet and Arsenal hit Bubba with a triple dropkick that finally puts him down. Jeszika goes for the Femme Grip but the Worleys pull their cousin out of the ring to the floor and safety. With Cornbread all distracted, Jeszika drops down to all fours again near the ropes. Bethany grabs Ashley by the hand and Irish whips her across the ring in the opposite direction. Ashley rebounds off the far ropes and comes racing back back across the ring. She reaches Jeszika and launches herself into poetry in motion again over the top rope. She crashes down onto all three Cornbread Mafia members and sends them tumbling to the mat like bowling pins.

Crowd: “HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!!”

Andrew Payne: Never say size matters, Miranda!! Ashley Kenyon just took down about seven times her own body weight!

Miranda Augustino: That’s a badass bitch, Andy!

Ashley gets back up and rolls into the ring. Bethany and Jeszika walk around the ring trying to rev up the crowd while the Mafia remain on the floor, all three seemingly stunned by what just happened to them. Shawn staggers up and falls against the barricade. He nods to himself and dives into the ring, Cameron following right behind him. Arsenal catches both of them coming in with dropkicks that end them right back out. Bubba dives in and Ashley moves in, jumping at him. Bubba catches her and threatens to powerbomb her. Ashley tries to reverse it into a rana but Bubba swings her back up and throws her clean over his head. Ashley flies over and lands so that she lands facedown on the mat.

Crowd: “OOOOH!”

Jeszika tries to jump at Bubba for a clothesline but he catches her for an overhead belly to belly suplex. Jeszika hits hard and rolls away in pain. Bethany tries to jump onto Bubba’s back only to find herself across his shoulders. Bubba drops down into a Samoan drop. Bethany rolls away just as Jeszika did. Ashley comes over and jumps onto Bubba’s back. Bubba kicks his legs out and crushes Ashley under him on the mat. He rolls over for the cover.

TWO!

ASHLEY KICKS OUT!

Jeszika staggers up in a corner just in time for Cameron to rush in with a big clothesline. He moves and Shawn follows with a running dropkick. Jeszika falls into the seated position and Bubba comes roaring in for a cannonball to complete Southern Hospitality. Shawn pulls Jeszika over for a cover.

JESZIKA GETS A SHOULDER UP!

Bethany grabs Shawn for a cradle.

SHAWN KICKS OUT!

Cameron goes for Rock-A-Ho only for Bethany to move and then roll him up instead.

Miranda Augustino: Whoo! Cameron went for broke and it almost cost him!

Andrew Payne: Bethany Kenyon will fold your ass over in a snap if you’re not careful but he made it out.

Bubba clotheslines both Ashley and Jeszika down and Shawn goes up to the top. Bubba catches Bethany for a body slam and then drops an elbow on her allowing Cameron to go to the opposite corner. Bubba covers Bethany.

BETHANY GETS A SHOULDER UP!

Shawn and Cameron nod to each other and jump off simultaneously, Shawn going for the Pit Stop on Jeszika and Cameron going for the 450 Splash on Ashley. They both land their moves and hold for the covers.

Bubba comes running over and goes up top. He nods and goes for the Bubba Sault. Ashley moves and Bubba crashlands on the mat. Shawn goes for To’e Up From The Flo’e Up. Jeszika ducks it and then jumps into the Fatae-ity.

CAMERON BREAKS IT UP!

Bethany gets a clothesline on Cameron. As Bubba starts to get back up, Ashley and Jeszika join Bethany and they hit Bubba with a triple Kiss Off. Bubba slumps back to the mat. Jeszika goes to a corner to try and go for an elbow drop only for the Worleys to jump up with her and catch her for Southern Pride. Shawn holds for the cover.

THE KENYONS BREAK IT UP!

Bethany and Ashley spring up and hit Cameron with the Kiss Your Ass Goodbye. Shawn tries to come to his brother's aid only to eat Kiss Your Ass Goodbye as well. He falls into the waiting arms of Jeszika who slaps on the Femme Grip. Shawn fades quickly after having fallen victim to Up Your Arsenal and the referee calls for the bell!

What are your feelings on that?

Griffin Hawkins: Here's the thing about Matthews Amy, this is a guy who surrounds himself with money...big houses...fast cars, everything. He wants to get to the top of NFW..and thinks he can use me to do it by teaming up with me. I got news for him...I share glory with nobody. I got where I am today by myself..and I am not gonna let some fancy pants rich boy dictate my legacy. And of course he's gonna brag about laying me out..but what he fails to bring up is he needed the help of that muscle bound roid head to do it. Where I'm from, if you got a beef with somebody, you look them in the eye before you knock them out...but I guess he doesn't believe in that. Sooner or later, I'm gonna get him in the ring and believe me, all that money is not gonna buy him out of a heavy metal ass kicking that's coming his way.

Amy Connors: And what about your match with Annaquin Adams?

Griffin Hawkins: Me and Anaquin have a good respect for one another. This girl is unique and different just like I am. She likes to do things her own way. And for the last few months she has done things her own way as she has reigned as United States Champion. Me..it's been a while since I held a title here on Trauma. Luthor Callaway offered me a spot on the Collision roster with promises that he would make me a star...and I chose to stay here on Trauma because I have unfinished business here on the brand. I held the United States Title before in my career...and I am looking to hold it once again. Annaquin is a damn good competitor and has brought honor to that very belt...but I am looking to rock her world tonight!

He walks off as we head back to the ring.

As the cameras return to ringside, Thea Crawford stands in the ring with the referee while Jessica Clarkson stands on the stage by the Wheel of Mayhem. Jessie smiles and waves to the camera again.

Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for our next contest! Introducing the competitors….

The arena goes black as small lights start to light up all around, moving gracefully around the void like fireflies.

The darkness breaks suddenly at the moment of the scream as Eavan Maloney walks out, arms outstretched like she is welcoming everyone to her environment.

Thea Crawford: From New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the Harley Quinn of Wrestling. EAVAN... MALONEY!!!!

Eavan walks down the ramp, arms still outstretched, slow but with a purpose, before rolling under the bottom rope and getting up on the turnbuckles to soak in the mixed reaction from the crowd. Eavan drops off the turnbuckles, removes her jacket and lays it aside in the corner, before rolling her wrists and shoulders, pacing around in her corner awaiting her opponent.

Rage

Against the dying of the light

The lights begin to flicker, and fade out. Abyss in Your Eyes begins playing, as the arena descends into darkness. A trail of fire starts at the top of the stage, and creeps down the ramp, a pair of eyes light up, at the top of the ramp, followed by a small circle. The circle points toward the arena lights, which shoot back to full illumination, a plume of steam erupts around the figure on the ramp, and snuffs out the flames. Once the steam subsides, Glitch can be seen, pointing her palm skyward. The mystery woman now makes her voyage toward the ring, doing some shadow boxing, as she closes the gap towards the ring.

Thea Crawford: Her opponent! Making her way to the ring, weighing in at 165lbs, from Beyond The Grid!! This is...GLITCH!!

Once at the bottom of the ramp, Glitch rolls into the ring, makes her way to the center, and drops to one knee. Her head swivels from side to side, nodding the whole time. Once content, she pulls herself to a stand, and moves for her corner.

Thea Crawford: And now, ladies and gentlemen, once again...the Wheel of Mayhem.

The cameras move to the stage again where Jessica Clarkson spins the wheel again. It goes round and round and round, finally slowing to a stop on the tab. Jessie checks the result before announcing into her own microphone.

Jessica Clarkson: Ladies and gentlemen, this match will be a No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere match!

Glitch and Eavan Maloney look from the wheel on the stage, to back across the ring at each other and slowly nod, approving of the stipulation. Thea Crawford bows out of the ring, the referee checks both women are set to go and calls for the bell….

~DING DING DING~

Glitch would try to keep the match focused in the ring, however, Maloney had zero interest in keeping the Falls Count Anywhere contained. From the opening tie up, Eavan would toss her foe out of the ring, and quickly runs back to the ropes to shoot out with a suicide dive against Glitch, putting them on the defensive.

Andrew Payne: Whoa, look out now! They’re right here in front of us already!

Miranda Augustino: Hope Glitch didn’t knock a screw loose! HAHAHA!!

Andrew Payne: You’re terrible.

Eavan would take Glitch up the ramp while a cameraman and an official were following them. They head up the ramp, as Maloney would try to smash Glitch's head against the railing, but, it is blocked and reversed by the warrior of the light. Eavan's head would bounce off the railing, before it's followed up by a European Uppercut, which knocks her to the ground.

Andrew Payne: OHH!!! And Glitch starts fighting back with some hard hits! Might have knocked a few of Eavan’s screws loose!

Miranda Augustino: You’re not funny.

Andrew Payne: Neither are you, most of the time.

Glitch drags Eavan up the ramp and to the gorilla position, where they smash the knee of Maloney against the steel and apply a kneebar onto her. Maloney would struggle in the hold briefly, before giving a pair of stiff kicks to the face with her free leg to free herself. With the fight settling at the top of the ramp for now, Glitch would catch Eavan trying to stand up with a stiff kick to her thigh. Zeroing in on her leg, Glitch goes to lift her up, looking for a shin breaker, as her leg collides into the steel. Glitch heads into the back, and brings in a chair to try and smash her knee in. Glitch would put her knee into the chair, as they climb onto part of the set. They leap off, but Eavan escapes the chair and rolls out of the way in a narrow escape while going for a leaping leg drop onto the chair. As Glitch recoiled in pain, and started to get up, Eavan gets the chair and cracked Glitch in the head with it, before going for a pin.

KICKOUT!!

Andrew Payne: And Glitch kicks out after a brutal chair shot! I think her helmet might have protected her a little bit. Lucky her!

Miranda Augustino: Yeah, lucky there’s no rule in professional wrestling about body armor!

Both are slow to get up, as Eavan's leg was bothering her, while Glitch was dazed from the chair shot. As they both were getting up, Eavan would quickly dropkick Glitch's knee to knock them back down. Eavan would start to set up for her Sorsh Shot superkick, however as Glitch gets up, Maloney's knee buckled mid kick from the stress on it. Glitch would capitalize, before planting Maloney into the steel with the Core Breach, and going for a pin.

Andrew Payne: CORE BREACH TO EAVAN!!!

Miranda Augustino: MAMI!!!!!

TH-NO!!

Maloney narrowly kicked out, causing Glitch to go haywire and stomp on her. Glitch lifted Eavan up, as they look for the Circuit Breaker, but Eavan would use her elbow to fight out of the hold, and lands behind Glitch, planting them into the gorilla position with a modified version of the Family Tradition, hooking the leg.

THR--NO!!

Glitch narrowly kicked out, much to Maloney's dismay. Maloney would drag Glitch into the backstage area, clearing off the branded Chicago Deep Dish Pizza from catering. She gets Glitch up, looking for a vertical suplex and lifted, but, again, her knee buckled. Glitch lands on their feet, as Eavan was lifted up into a brainbuster through the table, as they are both laid out. Both are beginning to be counted out by the referee, as Glitch moved at the count of four to cover Eavan, while the referee lowered down.

KICKOUT!

Weakly, Maloney kicked out, as she was defiant to lose. Glitch attempted to get a kneebar set up again, but, Eavan would hurl a piece of table into Glitch's head to stun them and back away. Maloney gets to her feet and finds an aluminum trash can, before hurling the trash into Glitch as some insult to injury. She would then place the can over Glitch's head, before hopping up and delivering The Last Word onto Glitch! She pulls her out of the can, and goes for a pin.

Thea Crawford: Here is your winner….EAVAN...MALONEY!!!!

Miranda Augustino: YEAH, MAMI!!! WHOOOOOO!!!!

Andrew Payne: That was a war if I ever saw one between two tough women!

Miranda Augustino: Do robots even have sexes?

Andrew Payne: Oh knock it off.

As Eavan’s music played out in the ringside area, the referee raised her arm with the blonde standing over her opponent. Eavan looked pretty satisfied over her victory as she smiled and turned to just head off for the locker room. Glitch sat up, holding her head (or helmet) and got to her feet, quickly looking around for Eavan before realizing she was gone. She heard the music playing out on the speakers as the referee made sure she knew the match was over. The armored woman picked up the already dented trash can and angrily whipped it against the wall before storming off.

Winner: Eavan Maloney

A single light shines down from above in an otherwise dark room, illuminating a long table around which several people are seated. There are murmurings, whispers, but little of it is intelligible at such volume. Most of it being in Spanish does not help. A door is heard to open and loudly close, followed by the click of high heels on a stone floor. The powerful build gives the woman away as Mano Derecha, who takes a seat at the head of the table. She folds her hands atop it, her fingertips looking as though they have been dipped in blood. There are at least eight others at the table, all falling silent when Derecha clears her throat. She leans in a little, the light illuminating her severe expression as she cases out the figures watching her.

Mano Derecha: Gentlemen...

There is a murmur of humor among the fellows, most of hooded or half-masked… not because of a certain virus but because, well… gangsta. It is still a thing. Why the laughter? Because no one would ever mistake a Huesos Rojos for a gentleman.

Mano Derecha: ...and our lady.

That brought up sounds of confusion. Mano was not so arrogant as to speak of herself as such. Confusion leads to glancing about, leading to most of the men at the table giving a start as, the camera panning around, we see the Queen of the Streets herself, La Silencia, sitting at the far end of the table. Her eyes glint, catching some of the light from above as she stares forward while leaned back languidly in her chair, arms upon the rests.

Huesos Rojos: <When the fuck did she come in?!>

Another Huesos Rojos: <Some fuckin’ Batman shit!>

While the gang understands English, Spanish is their default. Mano smiles thinly at their reactions while Silencia does not react at all. The meeting, such as it is, is in Mano’s hands and she gets down to business.

Mano Derecha: Our Queen of the Streets has established herself here on Trauma and continues to keep the eyes of many upon her in and out of the ring. That means it is time for us to get to work.

More chatter as Mano brings a briefcase up onto the table and opens it. She takes out several folders passing them to the men sitting nearby. Silencia is still and quiet… almost a statue. The men look through the folders, each filled with pictures and paperwork. There are comments of recognition, some of surprise, some garnering looks that sway from Mano to Silencia and back again.

The point is that this list of theirs is both polarizing and surprising.

Mano Derecha: Some of them will return if given the opportunity. You will discover if they are genuine or not and bring that information to me. If they try to run, bring them down. If they try to fight-

A snarl-like sound emits from Silencia’s side of the table. Most everyone freezes at the sound, like a person would if they were traipsing through the woods and heard a feral wolf’s growl.

Mano Derecha: -then they are clearly guilty. Treat the situation appropriately, but be mindful of where you are. Heat will not help us.

Huesos Rojos: <Most of ‘em gonna bolt when they see us, boss. Ain’t none of ‘em stupid.>

Murmurs of assent abound. They stop in a dime when Silencia speaks up.

La Silencia: <The innocent do not run. The guilty do not fight. You have your orders.>

These are not soft men. They are not gentle. But when the Street Empress speaks up, there is a certain amount of trepidation that washes over them. It is, thankfully, assuaged by Mano Derecha from the other end of the table. Silencia, meanwhile, leans back into the darkness.

Mano Derecha: If they stand and comply, give them the means to contact me and let them know that I will be in touch. If you have to chase them down… I trust your judgment. Just have a care. We are not in Reynosa anymore. Any questions?

There are none. The Huesos Rojos rise as a unit, taking the information with them. Derecha watches them go with her eyes alone, then finds herself alone with Silencia. Her gaze drops for a moment, then rises anew.

Mano Derecha: So...

La Silencia: <This is your plan. I am trusting your judgment. Why are you nervous?>

Mano Derecha: ...because all of this is for your future. You are putting everything in the hands of others. That… frightens me.

La Silencia: <I am angry, not stupid. You convinced me it was for the best. I ask again: why are you nervous?>

Mano Derecha: Because if we fail-

Silencia rises at that, walking to the head of the table and stopping next to Mano, not looking at her but facing ahead. She puts a gloved hand on the woman’s muscular shoulder, speaking calmly.

La Silencia: <Don’t fail.>

Then the Street Empress leaves the room… while Mano swallows the ginormous lump in her throat with some difficulty.

Thea Crawford: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is for the NFW Tag Team Championships!

Thea Crawford: Introducing the challengers, at a combined weight of 350lbs! They are the King and Queen of Controversy. TIMOTHY...and...KIRIOS...HUNT!!!!

As the music hits, Timothy and Kirios walk out with crowns on their heads and black and gold robes down their backs. Timothy starts making his way down the ramp, arm in arm with Kirios, the fans giving them mixed reactions to their being in the NFW. Timothy stops in front of the ring and holds Kirios’ hand as she ascends the steps and gets into the ring. Timothy follows right behind her and the two remove their robes, revealing matching gear. They stand in the center of the ring and take in all of the cheers and jeers that the crowd was giving them.

As "Ride of The Valkyries” by Brothers of Metal begins to play, the arena goes dark except for a few spotlights on the stage as “snow” begins to fall on the staging area. Out walk Christina Olson and Lilith Meadows, stepping into the spotlights. They both have on Viking Warrior style outfits as they look at each other and they smash their forearms together. The redhead takes the lead down the ramp as Lilith, with her half masquerade mask on, follows behind, a sadistic, yet focused look on her face as they head straight towards the ring.

Thea Crawford: Their opponents, weighing in at a combined weight of 255lbs. Representing The Kingdom! They are the reigning and defending, NFW Tag Team Champions. Christina Olson...Lilith Meadows...THE LAST...OF...THE...VALKYRIES!!

The two of them step into the ring and get into the middle as Christina drops to her knees and Lilith stands behind her, hands clasped on her shoulders. The two of them let out a battle scream before Christina gets up to her feet and begins to get the crowd to join them in a “Skol” chant before removing their garb and getting ready for the match.

Thea Crawford: And, this match will be….

Thea turns to Jessie on the stage as the intern reaches up and gives the wheel a big spin! It turns round and round several times before finally sloooooowing to the selection. Jessie grins and brings her microphone up.

Jessica Clarkson: ARE Y’ALL DOWN FOR A TABLES, LADDERS AND CHAIRS MATCH?!

Chicago erupts into a pop of approval as both teams take in the information. Tim and Kirios immediately begin going over a last minute strategy. Christina and Lilith look more than pleased and give each other a double high five. Meanwhile, the cable is lowered down and the tag titles are clasped around the hook before being raised up.

Andrew Payne: This match just got 10 times more interesting and I didn’t think it could, given how hot it was already!

Miranda Augustino: Ohhhhh man, we’ve seen the Valkyries in TLC before.

Andrew Payne: This is their zone, Mir.

~DING DING DING~

The bell sounds and Christina goes right after Timothy and takes him down to the mat and begins to throw hands with him and the two brawl to the outside. Once they clear the ring, Lilith and Kirios pair off and lock up. Lilith goes behind on Kirios and puts her into a waistlock. She lifts Kirios up and slams her face first into the mat before putting her into a side headlock. Kirios reverses out and puts Lilith into an armbar before Lilith counters out of that and the two of them hop back up to their feet as the crowd shows their appreciation.

Andrew Payne: Little show of appreciation for the athleticism here. I like that.

Miranda Augustino: Yeah but you know there’s some animosity in the air, still with these teams.

As the two of them are in a standoff, on the outside, Tim is now getting the upper hand on Christina as he drives her head first into the steps a few times over. Timothy then takes Christina and sends her back first into the barricade. He charges in and delivers a clothesline that sends both of them over and into the crowd. The two of them brawl and take the fight through the crowd, Tim driving Christina into a wall separating the floor seats and the first level. He then grabs her and delivers a snap suplex onto the floor. He then picks her up and grabs a chair from a fan and swings it, connecting over the back of Christina who arches up in pain.

Back in the ring, Lilith has Kirios in the corner, delivering a series of stomps to her. She then pulls Kirios out and delivers a leg drop from the second rope. She slides out of the ring and grabs a ladder from underneath, wasting no time as she sets it up and starts climbing for the belts but Kirios makes it up to her feet and pulls Lilith back down by her feet.

Andrew Payne: Oh! Meadows tried for it, but no go!

Lilith blocks a forearm from Kirios, rocking her with one of her own then sends her into the ropes. Kirios comes off the ropes and she ducks under a clothesline attempt by Lilith. She hits the ropes again and this time, Kirios avoids a back elbow by Lilith before she delivers a kick to the midsection of Lilith before delivering a snap DDT. Kirios picks Lilith up and sends her into the corner. Kirios charges in and delivers a splash to Lilith before snapmaring her out and delivering a kick to the back of Lilith before going for the belts

Miranda Augustino: Queen’s making her climb, Andy!

Andrew Payne: Can she do it?!

But no! Lilith is up and pulls Kirios down by her gear. Kirios reverses an Irish whip and sends Lilith into the ropes. Lilith rebounds off the ropes and she’s met with a spear by Kirios. Lilith takes that time to roll out of the ring herself and get some separation. Once Lilith gets up to her feet though, Kirios comes flying through the ropes and delivering a suicide dive onto Lilith that drives her back first into the barricade. Kirios gets to her feet, but as she does, there’s a loud crack as Christina has a kendo stick in her hand and swings it and connects multiple times to the back of Kirios. Christina turns Kirios around and cracks her over the head with the weapon before sliding into the ring and starts making the climb up the ladder. She actually makes it to the top and starts reaching for the belts!

Andrew Payne: The Valkyries can retain the titles right here!!

Miranda Augustino: Whoa, watch out! Here’s Tim!

Before Christina can get the belts unhooked, Tim is back to the ring and he shoves the ladder over with Christina on it, causing her to go over the ropes and crash into the barricade where she grabs at her shoulder, screaming out in pain. Tim then grabs Lilith and rolls her back into the ring. He then searches under the ring and finds a table and begins to set it up on the outside. Once he has it set up, he rolls back into the ring and he and Kirios take Lilith and deliver a double suplex before he has Lilith and delivers a Michinoku Driver. Tim goes for the belts while Kirios takes a breather outside. Lilith makes it back to her feet and while she can’t climb up after Tim in time, she grabs a steel chair and starts taking it to the back of Tim’s legs. Then his back as he buckles. Tim turns halfway on the ladder and kicks the chair back in Lilith’s face, causing her to stagger as he drops back to the floor.

Andrew Payne: Mir, this match is getting a little nasty, ain’t it?

Miranda Augustino: We knew it would!

Kirios slides back into the ring with a kendo stick of her own and a night stick for Tim and tosses it to him. Kirios takes the kendo stick as Tim picks Lilith up and she swings and cracks the weapon right into the midsection of Lilith who doubles over before Tim whacks Lilith in the back with the night stick. Tim then takes the night stick and uses it across the face of Lilith as he locks in a camel clutch! Lilith fights, trying to get out, but she seems to not have an answer for it. Tim tells Kirios to go for the belts!

Miranda Augustino: Now that’s teamwork right there, Andy!

Andrew Payne: Indeed!

Just as it looks like Kirios is about to reach the top, Christina comes flying off the top rope and delivers a missile dropkick to Kirios to knock her off of the ladder! Tim is right there though, letting Lilith out of the camel clutch delivering a shot to the shoulder of Christina with the night stick. He then rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair and rolls back in, cracking it across the injured shoulder of Christina who screams in pain and starts to roll out of the ring, but Kirios grabs her and delivers a shining wizard to Christina before locking her into The Queen’s Ruling.

Christina screams in pain, the hold locked in on her injured arm and shoulder. She struggles, refusing to give up though as Kirios pulls back on the arm more, causing Christina to scream in pure agony. Lilith gets up to her feet and she comes in and delivers a spear that knocks Kirios off of Christina. Lilith grabs Kirios and brings her up to her feet and she delivers The Dreaming to Kirios, but before she can go for the ladder, Tim is in and delivers a running powerbomb to Lilith. Tim goes for the ladder!

Andrew Payne: This has to be it! New Tag Team Champions incoming!

Miranda Augustino: They are PUNISHING the Valkyries!

Andrew Payne: Did you just...nevermind….

Christina springs back into the ring off of the ropes and hits a Poisonrana, snapping Tim off of the ladder! Christina slaps her arm, screaming as she tries to get feeling back in it. She picks Tim up and she tries to send him into the ropes, but he reverses it. Christina holds onto the ropes as Tim charges in and Christina looks to dump him to the outside where the table waits. Tim lands on the apron, but Christina hits the opposite ropes and she delivers a spear to Tim through the ropes and the two of them go crashing through the table! The two of them lay there in the wreckage, motionless and covered in debris.

Andrew Payne: GOOD GOD, THROUGH THE TABLE THEY GO!

Miranda Augustino: DIOS MIO!!!!!

Meanwhile, Lilith reaches down by the ring steps for something and when she gets up, she’s seen with a sack and some of the contents are poured into her hand. Kirios gets back up to her feet and as she does, she comes at Lilith who blows the Faerie Dust into the face of Kirios, blinding her. Lilith then grabs Kirios and delivers Dragon’s Ire!!!! Kirios is out and Lilith goes for the ladder again!! She climbs up to the top and there’s nothing either of the Hunts can do at this point as the Dark Faerie pulls the Tag Team Titles down off of the hook.

~DING DING DING~

Thea Crawford: Here are your winners and STILL NFW Tag Team Champions!!! Lilith Meadows...Christina Olson...THE LAST OF THE VALKYRIES!!!!!

Andrew Payne: Well, we said this was their zone and there’s no denying it!!

Miranda Augustino: Obviously, I was rooting for our team but I will stand and applaud the shit out of the champions! There’s a reason they got those belts!

Lilith climbs down from the ladder as Christina rolls back into the ring, holding her shoulder. Lilith hands her one of the titles and the Valkyries hug before Lilith carefully helps Christina to her feet. They raise the titles up and start up another “Skol” chant in celebration.

Winners: The Last Of The Valkyries (Still Champions)

Backstage later in the evening, having already showered and changed since the battle royal that opened up the show, Tahtti was sitting in the locker room with a frustrated look on her face. It seemed like just when she would get on some kind of roll, the rug was yanked out from under her. Of course she knew that was part of the job, but it didn’t make it any less irritating to the Finnish beauty. The red head sighed again as she pushed herself off of the bench and grabbed her bag, heading to the door to meet up with Nico then head back to the hotel. The woman was mere seconds away from her hand grasping the door handle when there was a loud knock, causing the woman to jump a little since she wasn’t expecting anyone and was alone.

Tahti Kuu: ”Oh come on, Tahti…no reason to be so jumpy. Things have been calm for weeks now.”

Tahti sighed and opened the door, taking a moment before looking to see who was on the other side. When she saw the dark hazel eyes, she began shaking her head furiously. The man standing in front of her chuckled as she noticed the bright green circle around his pupil, her hands trembling as she looked upon the eyes.

Tahti Kuu: ”It’s not you...it can’t be. He’s been gone for so long…”

Mystery Man: ”Who, Ms. Kuu? Who’s been gone for so long and why?”

The way the man said her name made Tahti shudder lightly, from fear more than anything if she was honest with herself. The man’s rough voice confirmed what the rational side of her already knew, but it didn’t stop her mind from immediately going towards Demoni simply because of the eyes. The disgust in his voice was something that she hadn’t heard towards her in quite a few years. While he had his face covered like the first time she had seen him, the Finnish woman could tell, simply from his eyes, that there was a sneer of disgust accompanying his voice as he began stepping towards her.

Mystery Man: ”I believe I asked you a question...or two.”

Tahti Kuu: “And I believe by the look in your eyes that you know who I was referring too…”

Tahti wasn’t sure where the sudden attitude came from considering she was still shaking a bit, but she had always tried to put fear behind her instead of allowing it to consume her. She took a few steps back, unconsciously dropping her bag near the door, as the man advanced towards her, the door to the locker room closing behind them with a slightly audible ‘click’. Her eyes quickly glanced over to her bag, and she began to silently curse herself in her mind. The man’s gaze followed hers, and he began to chuckle lightly as he looked towards her once again.

Mystery Man: “Why are you looking at your bag, Tahti? Still carry those emerald handle daggers that Jayson Ray gave you so many years ago?”

Tahti’s eyes narrowed in suspicion, wondering how he knew about her emerald handle daggers or Jayson for that matter, as her gaze remained on the man that was working on cornering her, something she had always reminded herself to not allow happen. The red head began looking out of the corner of her eyes for ways to get around the man, and she noticed the security camera that was pointed towards the door and main opening of the room. Tahti had hopes that someone noticed what was going on and help was on its way. The woman cursed herself again when she felt her back hit the wall, the man still in her direct way of escape.

Mystery Man: “He had no chance of survival, His life cut short, and it was all because of YOU! You get to be free, live your life, have a family! You TOOK all of that away from Him! There was NO justice for Him!”

Tahti Kuu: “I don’t know who you are…”

Tahti trailed off for a moment, her gaze darting around a little again before she realized that she would have to do something that she hated doing to anyone.

Tahti Kuu: “But I’m done dealing with you!”

Tahti swiftly brought her knee up, hitting the man right in the crotch. As soon as he began going down, the Finnish woman darted beyond him, hastily grabbing her bag from the floor before she wrenched the door open. She didn’t slow down or look behind her for a few moments, and she soon bumped into a very upset looking Nico Salvatore. It was only when he wrapped his arms around her that her furiously beating heart, which she had been ignoring, finally began calming down.

Nico Salvatore: Security is heading to the locker room already...one of the techs watching the feed sent someone to get me. Whoever the fucker is, he’s going to regret all of this beyond his wildest nightmares. You’re safe now, beautiful.”

Security” “Ms. Kuu, Mr. Salvatore? Some of security is still looking for the man, but he seems to have disappeared. I was sent to escort you to your car to hopefully prevent another interaction witih him.”

Tahti nodded silently, allowing Nico to take her duffel bag as well as keep an arm securely around her. He continued talking to her in a soft voice, comforting her as they walked. The scene faded out as the trio continued down the hallway, heading towards the exit of the arena.

The ‘Tron comes to life, showing Amy Connors walking through the hallways to the locker room. Ahead, Risa Jackson steps out of her own locker room, slamming the door in frustration. Connors points, and hurriedly steps up before Super Tiger can get away.

Amy Connors: Super Tiger! Could we get a few moments?

The Asian woman looks up, the lower half of her face covered with a compliant COVID-19 mask. There is fury in her eyes, but she puts her hands on her hips and nods.

Super Tiger: Fine, but be quick about it. Not really in the mood right now, and I have other things to attend to.

Amy nods.

Amy Connors: First, tough loss out there in that…

Like a lightning bolt, Risa grabs the microphone from Amy’s hand, stunning the reporter.

Super Tiger: Yeah. Yeah you’re right. It was tough. Risa just keeps on losing big opportunity matches, and now you of all people feel the need to rub that in my face as well. Well guess what?

The Asian woman’s face may be covered, but it’s clear the former positivity the crowd has come to expect from the luchadora is nowhere to be found, replaced by a hidden scowl as she continues.

Super Tiger: Yeah. I lost that stupid battle royal. Have you noticed a trend yet? I lost the Undisputed match at WrestleWar. I can’t seem to win since then. Everything just keeps going wrong for me, and there’s nothing I can apparently do about it. People don’t cheer me anymore. The crowd doesn’t pop. It’s like they’ve come to expect that when I step into the ring, it’s a guaranteed win for whoever I’m facing off against.

Amy goes to interject, but the glare she receives from Risa causes her to shrink back.

Super Tiger: I’m tired of it. I finally figured out what I need to do. And that’s what I’m gonna do.

She drops the microphone, turning and storming off down the hallway. Amy picks up the microphone, shrugging at the camera as it fades to black.

Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is to crown the INAUGURAL NFW Perseverance Champion!!!!!! AND, this will be an ULTIMATE X match!

Referee Yumi Akiyama presents the gleaming championship to the crowd and camera before climbing the ladder and clipping the belt around the axis of the cables. The ladder is then closed up and taken away from ringside. Matter of fact, security even dig underneath to remove any other ladders around.

The lights go out in the arena, as a cling sound like coins being tossed in the air is heard. The screen begins to flicker, as a man is showing walking through a forest, tossing three gold coins in the air. He follows a path carrying the coins and a lantern. A woman stands towards the end of his path, as she turns to him. She keeps her head down, as the man offers her the coins, she inspects them, as she looks down as he begins to kneel. She places her hand on his shoulder as the screen shuts off, and the two appear on the stage, the song begins playing, as Legion turns to the crowd, placing the gold coins in her chest, Mister J standing behind her.

Wolves asleep amidst the trees

Bats all a swaying in the breeze

But one soul lies anxious wide awake

Fearing no* manner of ghouls, hags and wraiths

Legion begins her slow walk down from the top of the apron, as she sways with the music her eyes glowing in the dark. She looks up into the ring where there is no one awaiting her, as she makes her way to the bottom, turning slowly as the beat begins to pick up.

He comes he'll go leave naught behind

As she climbs the stairs, she slowly slides into the ring, with red spotlights on her. She cackles slightly, as she looks around. She then slowly backs into a corner sitting down, staring up the ramp as Mister J makes his way to ringside. The lights come on, as the music cuts out.

Thea Crawford: Introducing first, weighing in at 135 pounds and hailing from Aokigahara, Japan, this is LEGION

To the screaming guitars of Metallica, a band she once had a goal of opening for, out comes Faye Brown, complete with glasses, with Logan Bailey by her side. The two are about as excited looking as one another.

Thea Crawford: ...being accompanied to the ring by the Animated Maniac of NFW, Logan Bailey... from Syracuse, New York, weighing 110 pounds... FAAAAAAAYE BROOOWN!

The crowd cheers as Faye slaps high-fives with some of the fans in the crowd, though those same fans deny Logan the same chance. Once the couple reaches ringside, Faye pauses for a moment before sliding in, with Logan not far behind. Once in, Brown climbs the nearest turnbuckle and wingspans her arms with her hands spread out as Logan points up to her, as if to say "that's my girl!", prompting some more cheers before Faye takes a seat on top of said turnbuckle and Logan to exit the ring.

“Skeleton Key” plays over the PA system and we hear these words open the song...

"In another life, another place... there was a shadow without a face.

I could see... the survivors, were few...

Memories to which I cling, things I do and songs I sing...

They all... bring me back, to you..."

Then, after the intro ends and we hit the chorus, out from the curtain comes Solomon Graham, to nothing but cheers and applause. We see that Solomon has a roll of white hockey tape in his left hand, but soon he transfers the roll of tape to the other hand, before slowly raising it high in the air (to a massive pop, of course). He puts his hands on his hips before smirking and shaking his head in disbelief. After all he’s been through, all the grief and turmoil, and especially those devastating losses… the fans remain loyal to him. He then proceeds to take a strip of tape from the roll and wrap his right wrist up in tape.

Thea Crawford: "And the opponent, from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 223 lbs, he is the owner of the Fullmetal Wrestling Alliance... "The King Of The Juniors" SOLOMON!!! GRAAAHAM!!!!"

After wrapping it in about five layers of tape, he then turns it diagonally and proceeds to also wrap his knuckles in tape as well, all the while slowly and methodically walking towards the ring. He then bites the tape in two, wrapping the strip still connected to the roll back on and wrapping the strip attached to him around the knuckle, before driving his right hand directly into his open left hand and walking to the ring, on the way stopping to play to the fans, letting them know that they are “ENTIRELY too quiet!!” before pumping them up.

Once we hear some noise from them, he yells once again: “C’MON, I CAN’T FUCKIN’ HEAR YA!!!!” at which point the roof blows off the place. He then climbs the ring steps onto the apron, before wiping his feet. He then steps into the ring, gets into his corner and stares across at his opponent.

The opening bass line to "I Will Not Break" by A Sound Of Thunder blares out of the PA system and the camera pans around the arena as the fans rise to their feet and cheer wildly.

"And you heard the girls talking...and you thought they were talking about you..."

"Oh no, we can't ask her! She's a creep!"

"Who are they talking about?"

As the song kicks in, the camera cuts to the stage where we see "Unbreakable" Stacy Jones standing there with a large grin on her face. She then begins to make her way down the ramp, slapping the fans hands on the way.

Once she reaches the bottom of the ramp, she turns to her super fan, Elsie and removes her plain black wool hat and hands it to her before she makes her way over to the ring before hopping up onto the apron. Putting her back to the ropes, she takes hold of the top rope with both hands and proceeds to backflip over the ropes and into the ring.

Walking to the centre of the ring, she unzips her leather jacket and then throws up the devils horns with her hands and then removes her jacket, handing it to a ringside employee as "I Will Not Break" fades out.

Thea Crawford: Wrestling out of Orlando, Florida, she weighs in at 150 pounds, this is STACY JONES!!!

The lights in the arena go dark in the main hall when

Player 1 Ready…

comes up on the screen. There's a fade in voice as Koda Kumi's "W Face" fades in.

"Yass bitch, yass bitch, yass bitch, slay."

The screen flashes

Game Start!

The main tune hits and the lights come back up showing Kate on the stage in a hooded jacket posing under the lights as the music continues. Kate flips the hood down and starts to strut down the ramp to the disapproval of the crowd. She sways with every step, an inspiration of lust as she moves.

"Yass bitch, yass bitch, yass bitch

Kate looks around as she walks down the ramp discarding her jacket as she approaches ringside in a sensuous manner, looking over the audience with a seductive look. She goes to one side of the ring and climbs on the apron giving her ass a shake at the audience.

Kate looks over her shoulder and gives a wink out to the camera before hopping into the ring. She gives one more slow and seductive dance in the ring but as the beat takes back again, she slaps her ass and yells out aggressively to the audience. She goes to one corner and poses once more with a smirk. As her music fades, she hops off the ropes and goes to her corner, warming up for her match.

Thea Crawford: Finally, from Laguna Beach, California and weighing in at 136 pounds, “The Geekette Extraordinaire” CALI-KATE!!!

Andrew Payne: Aaaaand it is time to finally find out who will be our Perseverance Champion! Who will Persevere?!

Miranda Augustino: And what will be left of them?!

Andrew Payne: Nice.

Miranda Augustino: Gracias.

~Ding Ding Ding~

Stacy, Faye, Legion and Kate all charge at Solomon. He drops Faye and Legion with punches. Stacy jumps on his back but he mares her over so that she crashes into Kate. With all four down, Solomon looks up and nods to himself. He starts for a corner only to be grabbed by Faye at his ankles. Solomon tries to shake/kick her off and Legion clips his legs with a leg sweep. Legion gets up and flips into a leg drop on Solomon. Stacy runs over and hits a dropkick on Legion. Kate runs over and catches Stacy for a ddt. Kate goes to the corner and starts up. Faye comes after her and eats a kick to the face. Kate goes to the top and jumps out onto the wire. Solomon gets up and grabs Legion. Using her like a baseball bat, he swings her by her legs and nails Kate in the back. Kate falls from the wires and Solomon reverse powerbombs Legion onto her. Stacy hits Solomon with her Bat-Hammer kick and he goes down hard. Stacy goes up to the corner and starts to climb. As she reaches the top, Faye comes up after her. Legion and Kate come running over and climb up to the second turnbuckle. With all four women fighting amongst themselves, none of them see Solomon coming. He comes up behind them, hits Kate and Legion in the back and then turns and powerbombs everyone down to the mat.

Crowd: “OOOOH!!!!!”

Andrew Payne: And Solomon Graham is on a TEAR in this match!!! Absolute beast!!!!

Miranda Augustino: Did you see what he did to Katie baby?!

Andrew Payne: I did, indeed! Perfectly executed!

Solomon turns and goes back to the corner. He climbs to the top and then jumps out onto the wire. He starts out hand over hand, slowly making his way to the center of the X and the championship prize. Legion staggers up and falls into a different corner. Stacy and Kate get to their feet and try to grab at Solomon. He kicks at them to try to keep them away. Faye climbs up and starts out onto the wire, making her way towards the center as well. Legion rolls out to the floor and grabs a steel chair. Kate and Stacy grab Solomon and arrest his movement. Faye continues on. Legion rolls in and cracks Faye in the leg with the chair. Faye loses her grip and plummets to the mat. Legion comes over and swings again. Stacy and Kate move to avoid the impact but Solomon is not so lucky. He takes the shot on his hip and falls as Faye did. Kate hits Legion with the Geek Chic Kick. Legion is spun around with the chair up in front of her face. Stacy hits the Bat-Hammer to the chair. The chair smashes Legion in the face and she goes down hard, bleeding profusely.

Andrew Payne: OH MAN!!!! And that one opened Legion up like a melon!!

Miranda Augustino: Looking like a damn Juicy Gusher!

Stacy and Kate start to exchange punches, each seemingly trying to knock the other out with each shot. Solomon staggers up, grabbing the chair from next to Legion. As he turns to try and hit the two combatants fighting, Faye comes out of nowhere with a flying dropkick that smashes the chair into Solomon’s face. Solomon staggers back, bleeding slightly. Kate hits him with a Geek Chic Kick to the chair. He falls back into the ropes and Stacy follows with a Bat-Hammer to the chair that sends Solomon tumbling through the ropes to the floor, bleeding like a stuck pig. Kate nails Stacy in the back to send her out onto the apron. Kate heads to the corner and ascends to the top turnbuckle. Faye comes over to try and stop her and Kate jumps off into a sunset flip powerbomb. As Kate starts to sit up, Stacy comes flying back into the picture with a quebrada. Stacy staggers up and goes to the corner. She climbs up to the top turnbuckle and then jumps out onto the wire. She starts out across and goes hand over hand, slowly making her way across the wire towards the prize and victory. As she comes to within grabbing distance of the championship, the chair comes flying back into the picture and nails her hard. Stacy loses her grip and plummets back to the mat from the impact.

Crowd: “OOOOOHHHHH!!!!!”

Miranda Augustino: Ouch!! Looked like Stacy landed hard there!

Andrew Payne: Only way to land when you fall from that high!

Solomon staggers up and pulls himself onto the apron. Faye comes after him but he knocks her away with a backfist smash. Kate comes after him and eats a shot as well. Legion runs at him and hits him with a big spear that sends Solomon flying off the apron back through a table.

Crowd: “HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!!”

Legion turns around and walks into a double flapjack from Faye and Stacy. As Legion starts back to all fours, Kate snaps off another Geek Chic Kick. Legion goes down. Faye hits Kate in the back with a dropkick and Kate crashes into Stacy, clashing heads with her. Both Kate and Stacy go down, each now bleeding slightly from the clash of heads. Faye goes to the corner and ascends to the top turnbuckle. She jumps out onto the wire and starts her way across the ring. Slowly but surely she makes her way across the wire to the promised land. Faye reaches for the Perseverance Title, and has it in hand before the lights go down. Half of the lights come up to reveal...

Logan Bailey: "AH! AH! GET OFF ME! YOU CAN'T KIDNAP ME! I'M THE ONE WHO YAKS! I'VE GOT A RAKISH CHARM ABOUT ME! FAYE HEEEEEELP!"

Brown looks towards the ramp to see her boyfriend Logan kicking and screaming as he's being dragged away by Santa Muerte of La Sirvientas de Yum Kimil, who has a wry grin across her face as she rounds the corner to backstage, now out of view.

Andrew Payne: "Oh, dear god no... La Profeta said on Aftershock that these girls weren't done with Faye and Logan, and that they'd see our lovebirds here tonight..."

Miranda Augustino: "Faye can't focus on that, she's right on the title! She literally has it in han--WAIT!"

The rest of the lights come back up.

Andrew Payne: "And now Lady Death! Watch out, Faye!"

Lady Death grabs Faye by her green hair and hits her head on the Perseverance Title, which knocks Faye for a loop. Miraculously, she still has a hand on the title. Lady Death then locks Faye in a headlock before driving her down to the mat. Faye actually brings down the Perseverance Title, however upon impact... Brown loses her grip on the title, which slides to her right, just out of her reach! The impact knocks Faye completely out, as Lady Death drags Faye out of the ring! The Perseverance Title is left lying in the center of the ring. All four remaininn competitors seem to have the right idea as they decide to make a mad rush to grab the belt but: Legion grabs Solomon Graham and runs him against the barricade. She goes to break for the ring but Graham comes right in and grabs her. They start fighting against each other to get in the ring. Stacy Jones and Cali-Kate make it into the ring and go for the belt. Stacy makes a mad dive for the title but Cali-Kate dives feet first and lands a nasty Basement Dropkick to Jones, sending her to the mat empty handed. Kate lands on her back and quickly rolls over, grabbing the title by the strap and pulling it to her, hugging it to her chest with a wicked smile!!!

*DING DING DING*

Thea Crawford: "Uhh... here is your winner, and the first ever NFW Perseverance Champion... CALI-KATE!!!”

Andrew Payne: "Wait a minute, though. Faye came down with the title. She landed on the mat with it. Shouldn't she be the Perseverance Champion right now?"

Miranda Augustino: "KATIE BABYYYYY! SHE DID IT, DREWSKI! SHE DID EXACTLY WHAT SHE'S BEEN SAYING SHE'D DO!"

Andrew Payne: "Like hell Kate did, Miranda! Faye Brown came down with the title in her hands. That's all you need to do to win this kind of match!"

Miranda Augustino: "Do YOU see her with the title, though?"

Andrew Payne: "You saw as well as I did that that wasn't the case. La Sirvientas completely screwed Faye out of that title tonight!"

Miranda Augustino: "Oh, wah wah wah, Andy! Make all the excuses you want, the fact is KATIE BABY'S A CHAMPION AGAIN! Like she should be, and exactly like she said she'd do this entire time!"

Andrew Payne: "If I'm Cali-Kate, I'm not taking any credit for this kind of win. But you and I both know she's going to! I wouldn't be surprised if she did tonight, in fact!"

Miranda Augustino: "Ooh, then I'll be looking forward to that!"

Andrew Payne: "What a terrible end to what was a fantastic match otherwise. I won't deny all five of the competitors here deserved to win, but for all intents and purposes, Faye had this match won."

“W Face” continues as Cali-Kate holds the Perseverance Title up in the air, an evil, triumphant laugh on her face.

The scene comes up in the backstage area as Cali-Kate is seen strutting down the hall with her new Perseverance title in hand. Amy Connors walks up, but Kate stops her before Amy can get a word off.

Cali-Kate: Don't worry Amy, I'll let you ask whatever questions you want, but let me address the one I know you have right now. How does it feel to be the first ever Perseverance champion. In a word, grandiose. And I wouldn't have it amy other fucking way. This...

Kate holds the title up for the camera.

Cali-Kate: ... is still the prologue of this story. I'm not even getting into the main deal just yet. Bit I'll tell you what I am gonna do: I'm gonna go back, shower, dress in Anton's favorite outfit on me and wish him luck.

Kate smirks rubbing the title as she rests it on her shoulder.

Amy: Cali-Kate, some people promised some very big things with that title. Can you outdo those promises?

Cali-Kate: Not only can I, I fucking will meet and beat everyone's expectarions for this title. It's called the Perseverance title so maybe I'll set the first standard by defending this against all fucking comers. Not just I go through them each one at a time, but if they want a shot, they can come down to the ring and get their damn shot. As many bitches at a time as that ring can fit. From any brand, or fuck how about any promotion? It's literally that simple. Show up, challenge and then get your ass kicked because this title is not going anywhere so long as I still have a breath in my body.

Kate smirks broadly at the thought.

Cali-Kate: Think about it. We already git the Luchacore title making appearances here. Why not show other promotions we're just as willing to put this title, this pride of our company, on the line? And with me leading the charge, you can be fucking certain there won't be any incidents like this year's WarGames. So tell me people...

Kate turns to the camera with a smug glare.

Cali-Kate: ... if you think you got the skill to take it from me, please try. And watch me fucking annihilate your egos for even trying. Because it will just turn into a you do not situation. No one can at this point. But I wouldn't be much of a champ if I didn't toss out the scraps to everyone would I? So there's your fucking thrown gauntlet. Who's gonna step up and take it? Kate makes a scoff at Amy as she walks away leaving Amy behind to just watch as the scene fades out.

Once more, Jessica Clarkson spins the wheel. By now, the crowd is starting to sing Dead Or Alive’s “You Spin Me Around”. Jessie even does a cute little dance to it as the wheel spins. Even as the wheel comes to a stop and the crowd goes quiet, Jessie dances for a few seconds before she realizes the wheel has stopped. Blushing and giggling a little, she looks to the wheel and bounces, turning to Thea.

Jessica Clarkson: Oh my gosh!!!! Thea!!!

She points above the ring, high up.

Jessica Clarkson: Bring that thing down! This...IS A CAAAAAAAAGE MAAAAAATCH!!!!!

Andrew Payne: Ohhhhhhh myyyyy!!!!

Miranda Augustino: HELL YEAH!!!!

From above the ring, the steel cage structure begins to lower down and the ring crew fasten the walls in place as the entrances start.

The lights go dark as a familiar music begins to play.....as soon as the beat picks up the crowd starts clapping along to it. The opening lyrics to "Livin' On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi hits as from behind the curtain emerges Griffin Hawkins who raises the devil horns in the air as the crowd sings along to the theme.

Thea Crawford: "Making his way to the ring...from Windsor, Ontario Canada...weighing in at 227 Pounds...put your hands together for Griffin Hawkins!!"

The crowd is cheering, clapping and singing along to Bon Jovi as he makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans as signs that read "Griffin Rox" and "Rock Soldier" are present. He soaks in the positive reaction as he walks up the steps and steps between the ropes. He gets on the turnbuckles and raises the Devil Horns in the air with both hands, pumping the crowd up.

He gets down, taking off his leather jacket before getting out of the ring. He sees a young little boy in the front row as he takes off his silver aviator shades. He places his sunglasses on the young fan who looks excited to be here, smiling as he pats him on the head. He rolls back into the ring, and kicks his feet up ropes in the corner of the ring and leans across the turnbuckle like it's a hammock, waiting for the match to begin.

The arena is bathed in a green glow of the lights as the beginning of Bring Me The Horizon’s “Kingslayer” featuring BABYMETAL begins to play across the arena. On the screen, outer space is shown and slowly peeking from the bottom of the screen is planet Earth looming up and the words “Universal Superstar” appears on the screen as the vocals begin.

Then the name “Anaquin Adams” appears on the screen as she makes her way out onto the ramp and lets out a howl. She is wearing a black top, which black shorts, with black boots. She wears a black leather jacket. Around her waist, is the NFW United States Championship. Her long green hair stands out as she races down the ramp and slides into the ring before hopping up onto her feet.

She springboards onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Before backflipping into the ring and landing on her feet then rushing towards the rope and letting out another howl as her music slowly begins to wind down as she walks over to her corner.

Thea Crawford: His opponent, weighing in at 175 pounds, from the Far Reaches of the Galaxy, she is the current, reigning, defending NFW United States Champion, “The Universal Superstar” ANAQUIN ADAMS!

Andrew Payne: You ready for a cage match between two of the craziest high flyers in NFW, Mir?!

Miranda Augustino: ¡Simón, carnal! Let’s get it!!!

~DING DING DING~

Anaquin and Griffin take in the sights of the cage surrounding them before their gazes slowly fall upon each other. They nod and slowly walk out to the center of the ring, each feeling the moment. The referee watches on as the two start to nod to each other. Finally, they lock-up in a traditional collar and elbow tie-up. Griffin quickly takes the standing side headlock. Anaquin starts to forearm him in the ribs to try and free herself. After taking a few shots, Griffin releases his hold, grabs her arm and steps into a standing hammerlock. Anaquin ducks under into a hammerlock of her own and Griffin snapmares her over. Griffin soccer kicks her between the shoulder blades and then grabs both wrists, placing his knee at the point he just kicked on her. Anaquin grimaces in pain. The referee checks to see if she wants to submit but Anaquin stands firm in saying no to that idea. Griffin pulls tighter and Anaquin cries out but again emphatically says no when asked if she wants to submit. As Griffin looks to recoil and pull tighter, Anaquin spins and manages a basement dropkick to his face that knocks them free of each other. Anaquin rolls back to the ropes and glances back, watching and waiting. Griffin slowly starts to get back up and Anaquin jumps up onto the ropes. She springboards into a missile dropkick that puts Griffin right back down onto the mat. Anaquin goes for the cover.

GRIFFIN KICKS OUT!

Anaquin gets to her feet and runs to the ropes, going for a quebrada. Griffin catches her and then launches her right back in the direction she came from. Anaquin crashes face first into the cage wall and falls backwards onto the ropes, bouncing back into the ring, blood trickling down her face from the impact with the steel. Griffin moves in to cover.

Griffin goes to stand up and Ananquin pulls him in for a flash inside cradle.

As the two get to their feet, Griffin beats the wounded Anaquin to a vertical base and shoves her into a corner. Anaquin lands hard against the turnbuckles and then looks up just in time to move out of the way as Griffin comes in looking for a forearm smash. Anaquin jumps up on him, looking for a monkey flip. Griffin is able to block and Anaquin swings to the side so that Griffin goes face first into the steel instead. Griffin clutches at his face and Anaquin sweeps his legs out. Griffin falls to knees, landing across the middle rope. Ananquin grabs his wrists, places her foot on the back of his head and then gives him a curb stomp into the steel. Anaquin steps back and griffin starts to slump across the ropes. Anaquin runs across the ring, rebounds off the far ropes and comes back for a dropkick to the back that bounces Griffin face first off the steel again. Griffin slumps to the mat and Anaquin covers.

GRIFFIN GETS A SHOULDER UP!

Anaquin mounts the bloody mess that is Griffin and starts to rain punches down on him. Griffin tries to cover up and then flings Anaquin off of him. Anaquin lands on her knees as Griffin rolls over by the ropes. He pulls himself up, using the ropes to steady himself. Anaquin runs over at him and Griffin catches her coming in, elevating her up for what would be a flapjack if only there were room. Anaquin smashes face first into the steel and bounces back into what amounts to a powerbomb. Griffin covers.

Griffin rolls off and both looks up at the ceiling, their faces crimson masks of horror.

Miranda Augustino: Aiiiiiiii!!!! Look at these two, Andy!!

Andrew Payne: Bloody as hell, Miranda! Bloody as hell!

Anaquin starts to sit up and Griffin starts to move as well. The two reach their original upright postures and Anaquin jumps into a roll up.

As they start up again, Griffin gets Anaquin for an O’Connor roll.

Griffin is sent into the ropes and he goes for the quebrada of his own. Anaquin moves and Griffin manages to somehow land on his feet. Anaquin jumps up into a ick that catches Griffin just under the jaw as he lands. Griffin falls to his knees and Anaquin gives him a basement dropkick to knock him onto his back. She covers.

Anaquin goes to the corner and starts to ascend to the top. Griffin starts to his feet and Anaquin jumps off, looking for a tornado ddt. Griffin reverses it into a bridging northern lights suplex.

Andrew Payne: OHH!! So close!! Griffin is not letting up on the offense here!!

Miranda Augustino: Neither if Ana!! This match fucking ROCKS!!! Pardon the pun.

Griffin staggers to his feet and then almost falls to the corner as the blood rolls off his face. He starts to climb, glances back and nods to himself as he makes it to the top turnbuckle. He glances back again and then starts to climb to the top of the cage, the crowd cheering him on as he goes. Just as he gets there, Anaquin manages to stagger up. She sees what he’s doing and goes to the corner down from him. As Griffin goes to stand up on the cage, Anaquin gets up onto the top turnbuckle. She runs the rope and jumps up, hitting a glancing blow to Griffin's ankle just enough to knock him off-balance. He falls and crotches himself on the steel. With Griffin grimacing on the top of the cage wall, the crowd gasps.

Crowd: “PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!!”

Anaquin goes to the next corner and climbs up herself. She makes it to the top. She nods and runs the tightrope of the top of the wall and hits the Hell’s Hammer. Griffin plummets to the mat, while Anaquin is left barely hanging by her fingertips on the wall right next to where Griffin had just been painfully perched. She pulls herself up and moonsaults off onto Griffin on the mat.

Thea Crawford: Here is your winner aaaaaand STILL...NFW UNITED STATES CHAMPION!!! “THE UNIVERSAL SUPERSTAR”...ANAQUIN...ADAMS!!!!!

Andrew Payne: Everyone should be on their feet, applauding these two athletes. I try to keep my language clean here, fans but holy...fucking...shit. That was a match.

Miranda Augustino: I just hope these two ain’t dead!! I see the moving but it could be spasms!

Anaquin Adams takes the championship from the referee and holds it against her side as she pulls herself to her feet. Across the ring, Griffin Hawkins sits up and gingerly makes it to his feet. He and Ana stare at one another for a moment, with Griffin obviously looking a little dejected but Anaquin limps over to her opponent and offers up her hand. Griffin clasps it and the two hug before Griff raises Ana’s arm. In an almost comical moment, she visibly flinches and Griff lets her arm go, patting her on the back to apologize. Ana smiles through the pain and pats him on the back. The two share another fist bump before Griff leaves the ring to Anaquin to celebrate.

Winner: Anaquin Adams

The view hard cuts to a concerned Faye Brown, without a Perseverance Title and now without a boyfriend and manager. Brown marches down the backstage corridors, looking everywhere she can to find Logan.

Faye Brown: "LOGAN, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!?"

Brown approaches a door and bangs on it, eventually opening it and entering the room... only to get shoved out onto the wall and onto her back.

Faye Brown: "OK! TELL ME IF YOU SEE A SMALL MAN ACTIN' LIKE YAKKO WARNER!"

Brown slowly gets to her feet and continues her search.

Faye Brown: "LOGAN! God damn it, where did they take you?"

Faye halts and tries to think placing a hand over her mouth. Eventually, she shakes her head and shoves objects of varying miscellany off of a crate.

Faye Brown: "GOD DAMN IT! God damn it..."

Brown sinks down to the ground, tears starting to fill her eyes. She buries her face into her hands for a moment before they slide down over her mouth. There's a lot of pain in her eyes before she spots the cameraman.

Faye Brown: "Ge--Get the fuck outta here!"

Brown gets up and shoves the cameraman down. The view only sees the ceiling as Faye marches away.

Faye Brown: "LOGAAAAAAN!"

The view fades away from the ceiling of backstage to...

We cut backstage moments after Griffin Hawkins’ unfortunate loss to Anaquin Adams with the United States Championship on the line as we see the former burst through the curtain, obviously not looking very happy over the loss, not to mention that the loss came as a result of interference from Steele Matthews.

Male Voice: Tough break out there, brother.

Hawkins looks over to the left to where the voice that just addressed him came from and the camera pans out to reveal that the man the voice belongs to is wrestling legend Matt Robinson, a former five time World Champion and three time Hall of Famer.

Griffin Hawkins: Matt? I didn’t know you were here… what’s up, dude?

The two clasp hands with one another and follow up with a fist bump.

Matt Robinson: Figured I’d come and check out the show. Looks like you’re having some problems with Steele Matthews.

The two begin to walk down the corridor side by side towards Hawkins’ locker room.

Griffin Hawkins: Can’t believe that self-entitled narcissist screwed me out of becoming US Champion… actually scratch that… I CAN believe he did that.

Robinson nods.

Matt Robinson: That’s Steele for you. Do you know what he did when he first debuted in this industry?

Hawkins shakes his head.

Matt Robinson: He took me out… I was on the shelf for a few months as a result. See, Griff… I know Steele better than anyone. He went after me because I was one of the top dogs in NWA… so he figured what better way to get his name out there then by going after one of the biggest names in the business.

Griffin Hawkins: This business is full of people like that. You have guys like us who have put our blood, sweat and tears into this industry… scratched and clawed our way to the top… earning everything we’ve worked for… and then you have people like Steele Matthews who believes he shouldn’t have to work for anything and just be handed everything on a silver platter.

Robinson nods again.

Matt Robinson: Precisely. And another thing with Steele is that he’s always got the numbers advantage with Hughes.

Griffin Hawkins: You mean that overgrown meathead who is always by his side? Yeah… I’m aware.

Robinson chuckles a little.

Matt Robinson: Thing is, Griff… I know you’ve got Stace and a few other friends here in NFW who would help you out with the numbers game… but the problem with that is those people aren’t always gonna be around to be there for you. They’ll have their own shit to deal with from time to time… you’re gonna need someone who will be there for you at all times.

Hawkins stops in his tracks and turns to face Robinson.

Griffin Hawkins: What are you getting at?

Matt Robinson: Simple. I’m offering to be your manager. I’m retired from in-ring competition… I’ve got plenty of time on my hands. I can be in your corner and make sure that when you’re dealing with Steele, you can focus on him and not have to worry about Hughes.

Hawkins folds his arms and takes some time to think.

Matt Robinson: Hey, just think about it man. You don’t need to give me an answer right away. And Hell, even if you just want me around while you’re dealing with Steele… I’ll do that for you and then I’ll be out of your hair. You already have my cell number… have a think about it and when you’ve made your decision… just give me a call. Sound good?

Hawkins nods.

Matt Robinson: Alright then. I’ll talk to you later then dude.

The two clasp hands and fist bump each other again before Robinson takes his leave as we cut elsewhere.

We go to the interview area with Amy Connors and nobody. Just her standing there with a microphone and a shrug.

Amy Connors: Hello NFW fans, I was supposed to have Minoru Tanahashi with me, but it looks like he may be doing a few more preparations for the Undisputed title match.

Minoru Tanahashi: No, I’m right here.

The voice is recognizable even though his face is obscured. Minoru Tanahashi steps forward in a solid hooded version of his usual sleeveless jacket. There are no fancy jewels or intricate designs, just a few small bloody claw marks over the heart and tattered fraying edges along the bottom and shoulders. A large grey demonic-looking horn pokes through the top of the hood connected to the skull mask that fully covers his face. Amy looks at him with a bit of hesitation, then breathes and nods remembering she has a job to do.

Amy Connors: Yes, just a bit before the biggest match of your NFW career.

Minoru Tanahashi: The biggest match of my career, period. This will be the first night I challenge for a World or Undisputed, or Universal or whatever name the company chooses to give their top title. I have earned shots before, but circumstances always prevented me from getting those matches. Sometimes it was my own doing, other times it was out of my hands. Tonight though… tonight there is nothing and no one that is going to stop me from marching down to that ring, going to war with Anton Crowley, planting his ass in the middle of the ring with the Black Lion Bomb, pinning that creepy bastard, and then raising that title high above my head.

Amy Connors: Easier said then done as many people have learned. Many of them without your outside-of-the-ring issues. Let’s just go ahead and talk about the elephant in the room. Two weeks ago, your friend and sometimes tag team partner Super Tiger walked out on you after a loss, and then earlier tonight Anton Crowley’s manager Faust was seen speaking with her. That has to be weighing heavily on you.

Tanahashi just shakes his head and sighs. It’s slightly muffled beneath the mask, but still fairly obvious. Minoru glances up at Amy and something in his eyes causes her to take a step back. He takes the mic as she moves away.

Minoru Tanahashi: What happened two weeks ago, that’s shit me and Risa can work out. As for Faust talking to her… it doesn’t mean she was listening. Tonight it isn’t about the issues between me and Risa. If this was a tag team title match then yea, I would be concerned we haven’t spoken since that tag match. It isn’t though. It’s one on one, my chance to prove to the entire damn World that when I say I am a damn good professional wrestler, it’s not bullshit. Tonight is not about Minoru Tanahashi and Super Tiger’s issues. Tonight is about Minoru Tanahashi versus Anton Crowley for the Undisputed Championship. My time to show that I am the true number one draft pick for Trauma. My chance to show exactly why I was brought to this brand. My chance to finally truly earn the right to call myself THE champion. Whoever holds that title is the face of Trauma and we all know that I will look better on the posters and the billboards than creepy Crowley. I don’t plan on just walking into this match and having an easy time. That is why the raging lion has come to play. That is why I’ve given myself a free pass to get as much blood as necessary on my hands.

Tanahashi looks straight up into the camera, his eyes appear completely black as he stares straight ahead.

Minoru Tanahashi: If a monster is needed, a monster I shall be. I will do whatever it takes to leave with that title tonight.

He tosses the mic back to Amy and walks off looking straight ahead, people stepping out of his way as he doesn’t even consider stopping or stepping to the side on his way to the ring.

The fans are a-rumblin’ as the main event draws near. Thea Crawford stands in the middle of the ring, ready to announce as the lights start to go down.

Andrew Payne: It’s time for the biggest match of the night, folks: the Black Lion and the Demon King going at it for Trauma’s top prize!

Miranda Augustino: While I’m certain Tanahashi will give Crowley a good fight, don’t expect to see anyone but my papi heading out with that championship when the final bell rings!

Andrew Payne: Don’t go selling Minoru short, Miranda! He might get on some people’s nerves, but he can go in that ring!

Miranda Augustino: He isn’t a king, though! Or a demon!

The Collision Center goes pitch black as a bell tolls, then another, then a loud BA-BA BA-BA BOOM! As Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” begins, the lights opposite the stage lighting up two by two with every toll of the bell. The lights flash with every cymbal crash until the bright white lights strobe with the beat and the screen slowly lights up, bloody grass appearing at the bottom as the camera moves up to see a battlefield lined with bodies all torn to shreds. The camera slowly moves towards a man standing on a hill.

Make his fight on the hill in the early day

Constant chill deep inside

Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey

On they fight, for they're right, yes, but who's to say?

The man’s hands are bloody and he breathes deep.

For a hill, men would kill, why? They do not know

Stiffened wounds test their pride

Men of five still alive through the raging glow

Gone insane from the pain that they surely know

We move to see the grey demonic horned skull of the raging lion

The lights flash along to the chorus then a white spotlight shines down and there on the ramp is Minoru Tanahashi, his hands bathed in blood, his chest marked with a bloody claw.

Take a look to the sky just before you die

Blackened roar, massive roar fills the crumbling sky

Shattered goal fill his soul with a ruthless cry

The Raging Lion roars out before he marches to the ring, the spotlight following him as all the other lights turn red and flash along to the music.

Stranger now are his eyes to this mystery

Hears the silence so loud

Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be

Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see

Minoru hits the steps and all the other lights go out as he makes his way inside the ring.

Time marches on (on on on)

For whom the bell tolls

As the bells begin to toll once more, the lights begin to return two by two with Minoru standing there in the ring, the spotlight slowly fading out as he awaits the arrival of the Undisputed Champion.

Andrew Payne: Tanahashi is fired UP tonight!

Miranda Augustino: And spending more energy than is necessary, as usual! Kind of dangerous seeing as how we don’t even know what kind of match this will be!

Andrew Payne: The Black Lion has stamina to spare, Miranda. He has proven it time and time again.

The crowd waited anxiously for the NFW Undisputed Champion to make his entrance. They are silenced as the ringing of a church bell fills the arena. Two rows of armored men walk out from the back and down the ramp towards the ring. In unison, they all turn to face each other. They draw their swords and raise them up, forming a makeshift arch alone the entrance ramp.

“Head Like A Hole” by Nine Inch Nails kicks up as Faust walks out from the back carrying the NFW Undisputed title. Behind him comes the champion himself, Anton Crowley. He is wearing his ring gear and entrance coat. Added now is a wicked and sinister-looking crown. The pair start to make their way down the ramp to the ring.

”God money, I'll do anything for you
God money, just tell me what you want me to
God money, nail me up against the wall
God money, don't want everything, he wants it all

No, you can't take it
No, you can't take it
No, you can't take that away from me
No, you can't take it
No, you can't take it

The pair climb the steps and stand on the apron. Faust sits on the middle rope allowing Anton easier entrance into the ring. He follows behind as Anton walks to a corner and climbs to the middle turnbuckle. He holds his arms out to his sides. As he does Faust holds the Undisputed Title up high in the center of the ring. Anton drops from the turnbuckle and moves towards his corner. Faust hands the title to the ref and moves over to Anton. He removes the coat and crown from the champion before exiting the ring.

Miranda Augustino: Bow to the champion, to the Demon King!

Andrew Payne: Anton is confident to an extreme tonight. But he might ought to be a little more concerned than he’s letting on.

Miranda Augustino: When Minoru proves that he is someone worthy of being concerned about, Andrew!

Andrew Payne: He’s the number one contender. That’s reason enough!

With both competitors in the ring, Thea Crawford steps forward to make the super-special ring announcements. Unlike usual, both Anton and Minoru are paying close attention as in moments they, along with the rest of the world, will know the stipulation of this match.

Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the main event of the evening! This will be…

Thea pauses, turning to Jessica Clarkson on the stage as the intern gets the wheel spinning. It goes on and on and on. It keeps going. Jessica must have really put a lot of umph in this one. The wheel starts to slow down until it comes to a stop and it’s Jessica who raises her microphone up.

Jessica Clarkson: ...a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed Championship!

The fans roar their approval! Anton hardly reacts to the news except to sneer at Minoru. The challenger, on the other hand, grins sardonically, nodding his head in eager acceptance of the stipulation. He bounces on his feet as Thea starts the formal introductions.

Miranda Augustino: Last Man Standing! Perfect!

Andrew Payne: Minoru seems to like what the wheel landed on, but Anton has barely reacted at all!

Miranda Augustino: Trust me: he’s jubilant! What better way to prove superiority than to be able to loom completely over your adversary at the end?

Andrew Payne: That might be a feeling that Crowley and Tanahashi have in common!

Thea lifts the mic again.

Thea Crawford: Introducing first, the challenger! From Tokyo, Japan and weighing in at 235 pounds… he is the Black Lion… MINORU TANAHASHI!

The fans love him and they aren’t shy about showing it. Minoru steps up to the ropes and throws his fists in the air, a gesture the fans return. As the reaction dies down, Thea turns to the champion.

Thea Crawford: And introducing the champion! Accompanied to the ring by Tia Santos, from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 215 pounds… he is the reigning and defending NFW Undisputed Champion… the Demon King… ANTON CROWLEY!

The reaction is a fair bit more negative for the reticent Anton, but he does not care one bit. He holds the title up high as Tia applauds him before stepping from the ring. Handing the title over to the Senior Official Yumi Akiyama, who holds it up for the fans to see, Anton moves back to his corner, as does Minoru. Thea leaves the ring and, after handing the belt to the timekeeper, Yumi calls for the bell!

*DING!* *DING!* *DING!*

The challenger is in no mood to wait! The moment the bell tolls he charges for Crowley, bull-rushing him into the corner and throwing some shoulders to take the air out of him! Crowley fights back with clubbing blows to the spine of the challenger but they barely faze the energized Tanahashi! Alternating between chops and palm strikes, Minoru reddens the flesh of the Demon King with his rapid fire assault, after a brief barrage grabbing the champ by the arm and whipping him into the far buckles! He charges in after him, delivering an Akihabara Dreams kick to the jaw of Anton. Crowley staggers out of the corner and eats a snap suplex, followed by a diving leg drop from Tanahashi, who steps back after impact, exhorting the referee to start counting!

Miranda Augustino: Like that would ever be enough!

Andrew Payne: Minoru caught Anton off-guard at the start and laid into him; even if the count doesn’t get to ten, he did some damage.

Yumi Akiyama starts the count, with Tia calling to Anton from the outside. The champion is up by four, sneering at Minoru and arrogantly dusting himself off. Minoru runs a hand through his hair, chuckling and nodding, as if this was expected. Then he launches himself at Crowley again, trying to take his head off with Kabukicho Nights! Anton ducks this and grabs Minoru from behind, seeking a neckbreaker! Tanahashi twists out and shoves Anton into the ropes, hitting them himself for momentum. Anton turns on a dime, though, and heaves Tanahashi overhead with a belly-to-belly suplex! The challenger comes up to his feet quickly but Anton is there with a drop toe hold, transitioning into a crossface and wrenching back with all his considerable might on Minoru! Still full of energy, the Black Lion is able to get to the ropes fairly swiftly, but Anton doesn’t let go clean, stomping the back and shoulder of Minoru before Akiyama backs him off, warning him about going too far!

Miranda Augustino: Now just a minute! I thought Last Man Standing was no disqualification!

Andrew Payne: There’s a point where you’re just attacking someone and trying to willfully injure them, Miranda. Your ‘papi’ does that a lot.

Miranda Augustino: Only when someone deserves it.

Anton duly backs off, even mockingly bowing to the Senior Official. But the moment Minoru is mostly to his feet, after a count of four, Anton is right back in there, driving a knee into his midsection before dropping him throat-first on the top rope. Minoru clutches his throat, but as Anton charges in he gets that Kabukicho Nights, knocking Crowley nearly for a loop! Pulling the champion out onto the apron with him, Minoru lights him up with chops, further reddening the Demon King’s chest, and following with a headbutt that further rocks the champion! Throwing caution to the wind, Minoru whips out one of his big guns, nailing the Lion’s Claw on Anton, driving him hard to the hardest part of the ring: the edge of the apron!

Andrew Payne: Good grief! A person could get seriously injured taking a hit like that!

Miranda Augustino: And I get the feeling that that’s what Tanahashi had in mind! Get up, papi!

Akiyama is there on the outside, making the count as Tanahashi crouches several feet away, staring at the downed champion. The hit was brutal, but Anton nevertheless pulls himself up around six, a hand briefly on the apron to steady himself. Not waiting for him to regain full composure, Minoru charges in and knocks Anton into the ring post spine-first before whipping him into the barricade. Bending the champion back over the railing, Minoru measures each and every chop he throws… while Crowley starts laughing at the shots! Minoru does not seem to know whether to hit him harder or stop altogether and his moment of indecision costs him dearly. Anton boots him dangerously low, enough to draw Yumi’s ire, but she has no time to accost the champion before he grabs Minoru by the head and slings him into the barricade! And in following up with a Clothesline from Hell, he sends Minoru into the first row, coming along for the ride!

Andrew Payne: What a shot from the champ! He might have done some serious damage there!

Miranda Augustino: All hail the Demon King! He drew Minoru in and cleaned his clock tower with a fury!

Pulling himself to his feet, Anton turns to Yumi and points at the downed Minoru. Akiyama comes over to the barrier and starts up:

Minoru starts to stir and Anton immediately goes on the attack, refusing to waste time. Another huge clothesline sends Minoru back to the business side of the barricade, the challenger scrambling to find a way to his feet. Vaulting the barricade, Crowley continues his pursuit, eventually grabbing Minoru by the hair and waistband, hurling him head-first into the ring steps. He starts putting the boots to the challenger again at this point, but much as the champion himself did prior, Minoru starts laughing at the Demon King! Anton is briefly taken aback and Minoru fires back with a low kick in response to Anton’s cheap shot from earlier! Free to get to his feet, Minoru goes to the doubled-up Crowley and raises his chin with a knee. Then his grin turns to a snarl and he scoops Crowley up for the Black Lion Bomb!

Andrew Payne: What an impact! That’s GOTTA be it!

Miranda Augustino: NO! Get up, Anton!

ONE…

THREE…

Tia Santos shows her concern as Minoru paces back and forth, glaring down at Anton… a look that becomes even more intense as Yumi continues her count and Crowley starts to rise!

SIX…

SEVEN…

Back to his feet at eight, Anton is attacked again by Minoru, who charges in with a vicious European uppercut that knocks Crowley back into the barricade! A few palm strikes follow before Minoru fully lapses into what he calls ‘Raging Lion’ mode: then the beatdown comes in a hurry as knees and forearm shots are added to the mix, the Black Lion trying to batter Crowley into mush even as the Demon King continues to laugh and ask for more around grunts of pain! Minoru seems to be losing himself, rubbing at his face and eyes, yelling at Crowley as he hauls off and delivers a few football-style kicks to the midsection before backing off, Anton on all fours as Minoru goes all the way to the other side of the ring, lining up for something… something wicked! When Anton is up far enough, Minoru smashes him with another Akihabara Dreams, sending him through the barricade and right into the timekeeper’s lap!

Andrew Payne: This is a whole other side of Minoru we’re seeing tonight, fans! Seeing Anton Crowley dominated alone is something of a rare thing, but this side of the Black Lion… it’s almost scary!

Miranda Augustino: Is he trying to beat the Demon King to death?! Does House Crowley need to come down here and put a kitty to sleep?!

Andrew Payne: If I’m them, I’m staying WELL away from this war!

The Senior Official is prepared to start making the count, but Tanahashi is having none of that! He bounces Anton’s head off the ring bell, busting the Demon King open, then smashes his head against the belt perched on the table, staining it with the champion’s own blood!

Miranda Augustino: Now that’s just TOO far!

No sooner do the words leave Miranda’s lips than does Minoru hoist Anton up, drop him chest-first on the barricade, then turn his attention to the announce table.

Andrew Payne: Um, he’s about to go further!

Miranda Augustino: Hey, keep the fight over there!

No such luck. Minoru starts clearing off the table despite Miranda’s protests. Andrew gets up and backs away, not wanting to be in the middle of whatever’s coming. Anton is starting to come around, but Tanahashi snatches up one of the tablets on the announce table and smashes it over his head before pulling him toward the table and laying him out on top! A few right hands keep Crowley down as Tanahashi heads back to the ring, climbing to the apron, then to the top rope! He situates himself for a moment, staring down at the prone Anton… and proceeds to leap off toward the Demon King!

Andrew Payne: OSAKE BOMB!

The Black Lion comes down with a wood-shattering crash, shards of table going everywhere and the ringside area left a big ol’ mess… but when the dust clears, we see Anton Crowley seated off to the side, having rolled away just in the nick of time, leaving the Black Lion to crash back-first through the table from many feet in the air! Crowley stares at Tanahashi, who’s near-motionless, for several moments… long enough for Yumi to get in there and start a count as the champion rises with some difficulty!

ONE…

TWO…

FOUR...

Leaned up against the barricade, Anton looks on, half-amused, as Yumi keeps on counting.

Miranda Augustino: If it ends like this, I swear… I will laugh for a whole week!

Andrew Payne: You would! Show some respect, already! Minoru could be seriously injured here!

SIX…

SEVEN…

EIGHT…

When it looks like all is lost, though, Minoru starts to rise… shaky, unsteady and needing one of the announce table chairs to help… but he makes it up before ten. And the champion’s response? A sinister grin!

Miranda Augustino: Bad things are afoot, Andrew!

Andrew Payne: That’s what I was afraid of...

Crowley is on Tanahashi in less than a moment, scooping the damaged Black Lion up and delivering The Fall on the remnants of the table! His face lined with red from his head wound, Crowley licks the blood off his lips and mounts Minoru, peppering him with straight rights before just grabbing him by the hair and bashing his head against the pieces of table littering the floor! Rolling him over, he does the same with Tanahashi’s face now, the challenger coming up with a wound or two of his own as a result! He’s barely upright, but enough that Anton can whip him mercilessly into the steps, then follow with a running knee. From here, Anton could likely end things but he wants to lay on the punishment after Anton’s early onslaught, rolling the challenger into the ring and sliding in after, stalking the Black Lion hungrily.

Miranda Augustino: That’s it, papi! He’s ALL yours! Make him suffer!

Andrew Payne: That is not a look that you ever want to see on Anton Crowley’s face… and less so when it’s you that he’s after!

Miranda Augustino: It’s beautiful, isn’t it?!

Crawling over to Minoru, breaking up Yumi’s count again, Anton starts lowering elbow shots to the back of the Black Lion’s head, adding some hard knees to the midsection just to add to the suffering. Did the Demon King really string the Black Lion along, or is this just the second wind of a dangerous champion? Crowley is clearly hurting, but every blow that he lands on Tanahashi is a little crisper than the last. After a time, he stands up and just boots the Black Lion in the head with everything he has, scooping him up for another deliverance of The Fall. Yet, as he steps back to the corner to watch, his amusement turns to abject irritation when, at the count of night, Minoru is back on his feet. Wobbly, seeing double… but awake enough to give the champion a two-gun salute!

Andrew Payne: Oh, that wasn’t smart...

Miranda Augustino: How DARE he?! The disrespect!

Minoru dodges when an angered Anton comes charging in, sending him chest-first into the buckles. Putting his all into it, the Black Lion dumps Crowley on his head with a dragon suplex, but the effort leaves him downed just as Anton is. They rise around the same time, and Anton goes to waistlock Minoru, who back elbows him, trying to escape. He turns, delivering another headbutt, but Anton strikes back with one of his own… then another… and another… following with a belly-to-belly suplex! Champion and challenger are both down again, but this time the champion is clearly up first… and he’s done playing with the Black Lion! With barely a moment of pretense, Crowley sets himself and lunges at the challenger, nailing the Ad Stellam Matutinam, Minoru for all the world looking unconscious before he even hits the mat! Anton, down on his knees, moves away from the challenge and yells at Yumi to start her count, which she does. Dragging himself up via the ropes, Crowley motions that this is done at last!

Andrew Payne: That’s gotta be it… no way Minoru gets up from that shot, not when so few ever have!

Miranda Augustino: And he’s face-down, right where he should be! Where all should be when faced with a king!

Andrew Payne: He damn sure pushed Anton to the limit, though!

SEVEN…

Minoru starts to stir, drawing the attention of Anton.

EIGHT…

He gets a hand on one rope, then the next one up. Crowley is starting to seethe!

NINE…

And just before Akiyama brings the hand up for ten, Minoru is up! He’s not steady, but by God, he’s on his feet! And the Demon King is apoplectic!

Andrew Payne: How in the-

Miranda Augustino: -HELL did he do that?! Does he WANT to lose his career?! His life?!

Andrew Payne: Little overdramatic, Miranda!

Crowley charges in, spearing Minoru into the corner and laying in some big shots, but to his shock, Minoru starts hitting back, refusing to go down! Tia is just as furious as Anton is, and that becomes more so when the two men start fighting their way up the buckles! Forearm shots, chops, stiff punches… nothing is out of bounds as champion and challenger take their brawl to the upper floors! The shots eventually get slower, yet more powerful; they’re clearly aiming for previously-inflicted wounds and it’s affecting their balance… not the best place for that! Crowley tries to shove Minoru down, but the challenger is prepared for that and boots Anton in the midsection, positioning him for...

Miranda Augustino: Wait a minute… no! Not that! Rethink this, Minoru!

Andrew Payne: They’re well beyond thinking at this point, Miranda! Now it’s just instinct and drive to win!

Minoru scoops Anton up for what looks like a piledriver, looks over his shoulder…

...AND LEAPS OFF THE TOP ROPE, DRIVING ANTON HEAD AND SHOULDERS FIRST TO THE MAT!

Miranda Augustino: NO!

Andrew Payne: Yippi Ki Yay Motherfucker! Minoru just pulled out one of his most dangerous and devastating moves!

Miranda Augustino: My… my papi...

Andrew Payne: ...may be done! We might have a new champion here!

Minoru is down as well, but he’s in nowhere near the shape that Anton is in! Crowley hasn’t moved since landing and it doesn’t look like that’s set to change! Yumi comes in, checks on the champion briefly, then starts counting both men!

ONE…

TWO…

THREE...

Rolling to his stomach, Minoru crawls to the ropes while Anton is near-motionless on the canvas.

FOUR…

FIVE…

SIX...

A twitch, a stirring… Anton is starting to come around, but Tanahashi is fighting his way up, his legs seemingly made of jelly. Tia Santos comes around to the side of the ring where Anton is…

SEVEN…

She starts trying to rouse Anton while Minoru’s back is turned...

EIGHT…

With the match being what it is, Yumi can do little about the interference… and by the time Minoru sees, it is too late; Tia has pulled Anton from the ring and he is able to right himself on his feet long enough to break the count!

Miranda Augustino: Oh, my heart...

Andrew Payne: Tia Santos saves the title of the champion with barely a moment to spare! But here comes Minoru!

And he is NOT happy! Tia scurries away when he comes around, rolling Anton back into the ring and following after. Knowing he was moments from being champion, the Black Lion is back in Raging Mode, battering Crowley like a man possessed… to the point that the Senior Official tries to step in and calm the Black Lion down! Oddly enough, her voice of reason calms Minoru a bit and he holds up his hands, backing off. But the moment Yumi moves, he’s ready to attack. The referee takes a moment to check on Anton, bringing Tia up onto the apron to make her voice heard. Minoru charges at her and she drops down, allowing Anton to go at Minoru, who dodges his going for the eyes and hits an inverted atomic drop, followed by an enzuigiri! Anton goes to a knee, but comes up hard, ramming the back of his head into Minoru’s chin! The two men both stagger back, then both try for a boot to the face at the same time, bringing both down to the mat! Back to square one, the Senior Official starts another count… when someone starts approaching the ring!

Miranda Augustino: Hey, is that Super Tiger? What’s she doing here?

Andrew Payne: Coming to cheer Minoru on, maybe? I don’t know...

The count reaches five and both men are starting to stir, although Minoru is moving a little more fluidly than Anton is. He starts to get to his feet, then stumbles to a knee, then is back up at seven though still not steady enough to break the count. When that stumble happens, Super Tiger enters the ring, out of sight of the Senior Official, and with a big wind up she wallops Minoru with her OATH Tag Team Title! The Black Lion goes down hard as Tiger leans back against the buckles, staring down at the half-conscious Tanahashi. Yumi’s count reaches nine and just before she reaches ten, Anton is on his feet! The referee calls for the bell!

*DING!* *DING!* *DING!*

Miranda Augustino: Wait… what?!

Andrew Payne: Wait, WHAT?! WHAT THE HELL IS SUPER TIGER DOING?!?!

Miranda Augustino: Anton wins! Papi wins! I don’t know what got into Super Tiger but good for her!

Andrew Payne: Good for her?! I’d like a freakin’ explanation here! What the hell just happened!

Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner… and STILL the Undisputed Champion… ANTON CROWLEY!

“Not Falling” starts up and Tia hands the title to Anton, who holds it up high… though he stares at Super Tiger for several moments, curiously, before he leaves the ring. Minoru hasn’t come around yet, still staring blankly at the lights as Super Tiger walks over to him. Without a word, she drops her tag title on him… then tears off her mask and throws that on him, too!

Miranda Augustino: Oh… now that’s a statement! But what does it mean?

Andrew Payne: Nothing good, I can assure you of that!

With that, she turns and leaves the ring, heading up the ramp without looking back.

Winner: Anton Crowley (Still Champion)
