The United States Championship was introduced during the move to the company becoming
intergender. Sela-Rica Lark faced then Women's TV Champion, Yukiko Kusanagi in a match
that served to retire the Women's TV Title and crown the winner as the first NFW United States
Champion. Lark was successful in defeating Kusanagi and ending her long reign as the last
recognized NFW Women's TV Champion with Lark, subsequently, solidifying herself as the
company's first U.S Champion.
