Once called the Undisputed Championship, the original World Heavyweight Championship prior to NFW becoming an
intergender based promotion. In the wake of the retirement of former champion, Judas Lasher, the 2019
Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournament Finals match was changed from a #1 Contender's Match to a match
to crown the new champion of the vacant belt. Griffin Hawkins defeated Matt Klazzic in the VBMT II Finals on
10/01/2019 to become the new champion. In the process of becoming an intergender promotion, the
title was renamed the NFW Undisputed Championship. After some careful consideration and reflecting
on the meaning behind title names, it became known that the word "undisputed" didn't exactly hold
true as it wasn't the only top tier title in the company with Collision having the World Championship.
As a result, on 05/04/2023, the Undisputed Championship was renamed simply as the New Frontier
Championship with the updated design set to be awarded to the winner of challenger Stacy Jones and
defending champion Kai Morgan at the end of Manifest Destiny IV on 05/27/2023. Stacy Jones was successful
in capturing the rebranded title in a match where she also put her professional wrestling career on the line.
