We open up to the gym owned by the Shieldmaidens, known as The Warehouse where we see Becca “Bruiser” Maguire sitting on the ring apron staring at the floor with a snarl on her face. After a few moments of silence, she slowly lifts her head and glares into the camera, the snarl remaining.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: Change. Change is somethin’ we all go through as we get older. Ain’t nobody the same person they were five years ago to now… aye, ya morals may be the same alon’ with other shite like that… but ya certainly ain’t the same in some form or another.
She pushes herself off the apron and begins to make her way over to one of the punching bags.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: Where was I five years ago? I was workin’ for HYBRID Wrestlin’... as a trainer at the Combat School. And why was I a trainer and not an in-rin’ competitor? I’ll fuckin’ tell ya why!
The Shieldmaiden tapes up her fists and begins to unload on the bag in front of her.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: I started trainin’ to be a wrestler at the age o’ fourteen in New York City… at the wrestlin’ school owned by the adopted father o’ Stacy Jones. I’d wanted to be a wrestler since I was the age o’ fuckin’ five… and here I was trainin’ to become one!
She continues with her strikes, throwing in some back elbows and kicks as well.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: Then one day… a talent scout showed up to view one o’ the shows we were doin’... but the bitch I was facin’ ended up deliberately shatterin’ my left fuckin’ knee!
The heavily tattooed woman then suddenly lashes out in anger and headbutts the bag before tearing the tape from her hands and tosses it to the floor before focusing her full attention onto the camera.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: That was it for me! I was fuckin’ done! I was told when the doctor checked it over that not only was my knee shattered… but so was my fuckin’ dream o’ becomin’ a professional wrestler!
She strokes her hands through her dark hair, almost seething.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: But I still loved the business that I still wanted to be a part o’ it… so I became a trainer. I was a trainer for twenty years… TWENTY FUCKIN’ YEARS! Trainin’ other people to help them achieve MY dream! The dream I wanted!
Bruiser jabs her index finger into her chest repeatedly while saying those words.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: And then… a few years ago… I meet with a specialist who looks over my knee and he clears me to compete… and here I fuckin’ am!
She outstretches her arms now.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: I’m fuckin’ done with helpin’ others achieve the dream that I wanted! The dream I busted my ass to achieve! The dream I had since I was fuckin’ five years old! I told ya’ll before I kicked Jimmy Bones’ ass at Collision ninety one that all o’ ya’ll are on notice! Especially if ya’ll are holdin’ a fuckin’ championship!
Maguire steps closer and closer to the camera.
Becca “Bruiser” Maguire: Hell is fuckin’ empty! And The Bruiser cometh!
Bruiser then makes the M shape with her hands before disappearing off camera as the scene fades.
