First Round Match
Sushi Roll Express v. Second City Riot Squad
The Riot Squad comes in with the attitude that they own the ring, jawing with the fans and at their opponents. Minoru jabs right back at them with even more attitude, which amuses the hell out of Cass, not one to stay silent herself. AOI, meanwhile, has a steely look on her face. It gets heated, with all six going nose-to-nose before a brawl breaks out. The Sushi Roll Express quickly clears the ring, with Leah and Layla trying to keep Jed from barreling right back into the waiting fists and boots of the SRE! However, the powwow takes a bit too long, leading the Sushi Roll Express to get impatient and take to the air, sailing over the top rope and wiping out the Riot Squad in glorious fashion! This time, the ladies aren’t there to hold him back and Jed, up first despite the three-way impact, starts laying into Minoru like the guy owes him money! Whipped into the steps, then the apron, Minoru is rolled back into the ring, but starts fighting back the moment he’s on his feet, trying to keep Jed down. Cass and AOI soon join in, laying the boots to the bearded beast. Leah and Layla get back onto the apron, and eventually Jed shoves the now-legal Cass away, tagging in Layla. A closed fist to the mouth briefly stuns Cass, and a DDT follows for a near-fall. Cass fires back hard, and a blind tag from AOI lets her surprise Layla, putting her on defense with a rapid, high-energy assault, culminating in a dropkick to the knee, followed by a springboard legdrop to a doubled-over Layla… but the pin is broken up by Leah! Leah drags Layla to the corner but Jed tags in first, bowling over AOI, then knocking Cass and Minoru off the apron. They come back quick, both hitting a springboard forearm smash to knock over Layla and Leah, leaving Jed to deal with AOI! The rest of the Sushi Roll Express again try to converge on the big man, but he throws them off with a roar, military-pressing AOI and tossing her into Cass and Minoru. Leah and Layla hold the ropes down and all three tumble to the floor! Once Leah and Layla roll AOI back in, Jed finishes things with the Schmuck’s Up, Schmuck’s Down for the win!

First Round Match
Thick Girls Club & Anaquin Adams v. G1itch M0b
These two teams came out, Anaquin extending a hand of sportsmanship that was ignored by G1itch as the match started. The United States Champion brought the offense early against the masked woman. Her, Erin, and Theresa were working seamlessly as a team after G1itch got some offense in and tagged in Aiff. Him and XLR showed off their flawless teamwork, taking full advantage of the lucha rules and keeping the fresh man in on Anaquin for a bit before she was able to get out of the ring and bring Theresa in. Theresa immediately started to turn things around with her power and the new Thick Girls Club showed that they are just as seamless in terms of teamwork. The two of them kept XLR isolated and delivered a series of double team moves one of which saw Theresa bodyslam Erin onto XLR. Eventually, XLR was able to get out of the ring and bring Aiff back in and he delivered Eat Defeat on Erin, but she went out of the ring and that brought Anaquin back in and she delivered a flatliner onto Aiff and then dropped G1itch from the ring apron with a running boot. She turned around and caught Aiff with an Exploder suplex before climbing to the top rope and delivering Hell’s Hammer and getting the cover for her team.
Winners: Thick Girls Club and Anaquin Adams

First Round Match
Super Bitch Squad v. Double Team Ihari & Yukiko Kusanagi
Anybody who knew SBS knew how this one was going to start off - or at least they thought they did. Kayako Kazama stepped in to start things off for her team. Huruka Ihari looked ready to start but Yukiko Kusanagi stopped her and seemed to be telling her she knew this trick. Huruka agreed and Kusanagi started for their side. As expected, Kayako tried her cute trick of a big smile and an extended hand but Yukiko literally stared her down with malice in her eyes to the point that Kayako retracted her hand and actually shrank back. She began moving her feet in place like a scared child and turned to her friends for help, looking on the verge of scared tears. Masami and Yuka rolled their eyes and Yuka called Kayako over for a tag. Now Hirata was going to start for SBS and she walked right up and got in Kusanagi’s face. First came the trash talk back and forth. Then the shoving. The pie facing. The slaps. Hirata went for a strike but Kusanagi caught her in the stomach with a kick, grabbed her by the head and started firing rapid forearms to the face. She whipped her into her team’s corner and ran in with a big back elbow, followed by a CCS Enziguri. Kusanagi immediately tagged in Huruka again and the Prom Queen took over with the chops and punches in the corner. She got Yuka down into the corner and backed up, running in for an Extended Bronco Buster. Hard to decide if the fans enjoy this or if they feel sympathy for Hirata being driven back into the corner so violently. Huruka tags her sister, Muriko in and the Girl Crush pulls Hirata up for a suplex. She starts wearing Yuka down with more chops and kicks but Yuka gets a saving grace, being whipped into the ropes where Masami hits a blind tag. Yuka eats a double axe handle by Muriko but Masami comes running in, roaring her name as they do in Japan and shakes her with a big lariat. Muriko falls back into the ropes and rattles Masami with a discus lariat of her own. Now it’s a hoss fight between the two powerhouses of the teams but Masami gets the edge, catching Muriko with a big Saito Suplex and the Girl Crush rolls out of the ring. Kusanagi comes running in for an attack but Masami jukes the swing and catches her with a Snap German. Yukiko rolls up to her feet as Masami kips up but the Queen of Brawn Style knows Kusanagi’s not down and quickly follows with a Pele Kick, taking her down. Huruka runs in next with a chop block, dropping Masami and things start getting crazy in and around the ring. Kayako finally got into the fight, launching herself off the apron into Kusanagi with a cannonball senton. Yuka and Muriko started a brawl around the ring. The two teams constantly switched it up, eventually going back to their corners even just temporarily, until things imploded again into brawling all around the place. It was here that Kaede Tanabe took the opportunity, because SBS gonna do what SBS do! Kayako Kazama hit a hurricanrana, throwing Yukiko into the ropes and the referee was distracted, trying to get Muriko and Masami back on the apron while Kaede hit Yukiko with the pepper spray right in the eyes. Yukiko rubbed at her eyes and fell back to the center of the ring. Yuka saw the opportunity and slid in, shouting to Kayako and the two came in from both sides, delivering the KY Connection so Kayako could get the pinfall!
Winners: SBS

First Round Match
The Dominion v. The Queen’s Guard
This match was painful for The Queen’s Guard to say the least. It started off hard and heavy as the much larger team of The Dominion showed their dominance early on. The three of them picked the much more experienced Isabella to isolate and they kept her in their half of the ring and showed off their impressive teamwork and utilization of quick tags in and out, constantly keeping the fresh man in the match. The continued to work over Isabella coming close quite a few times putting her away. The matriarch of the trio though continued to fight on, finally being able to avoid a clothesline by Raijin and she was able to roll through and get Lluvia into the match. Lluvia came in and immediately tagged Jamie into the match and the two of them worked together to bring the momentum back into their favor. They finally found a way to isolate Alex and begin to work him over as Jamie and Lluvia delivered Uptown Move and Your Horizon onto him, but Ryo was in to make the save for his team and toss both Jamie and Lluvia out of the ring and then bring Isabella back in the hard way with a suplex from the apron. He would then tag Raijin into the match and hit The Dark Matter Fatality and Raijin hooks the leg and picks up the win.
