NFW Presents: WRESTLE WAR XVII: Day 2! 12/16/2020!

Roger Arden: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the SPIDER’S WEB MATCH! As the two competitors arrive, they will make their way to the scaffolding you see high above the ring. There will be no disqualifications, no countouts, no submissions and no pinfalls. The only way to win is to force your opponent off of the scaffolding and through the stacks of glass tables you see in the ring.

As Roger speaks, the camera moves to show all of this as the fans look on. Some seem ready for the inevitable violence to come. Others seem a little apprehensive.

Matt Salvatore: Look at that shit, Nick! That is fucking beautiful!

Nick Hanson: Are you pulling my damn leg right now? This isn’t a deathmatch fed!

Matt Salvatore: Unfortunately! What’s your beef with deathmatch feds? I love a good deathmatch!

Nick Hanson: This is gonna be just barbaric. These two women are gonna end up in the hospital. Speaking of which, folks, we’ll have an update later this evening on Danni Anderson. Gruelling match last night against Sativa Nevaeh and we understand she was taken to the local hospital. We’ll have an update for you all in a little while.

Matt Salvatore: Yeah, let’s get to the blood and guts!

Nick Hanson: Oh, you’re sick, Matt. You are sick!

"Marionette" begins to play over the speakers as purple strobes start to shine and dance on the stage as Jenn Drew herself dances and twirls out onto the stage with a grin on her face. She stops and looks at the crowd before shaking her head and skipping down the ramp towards the ring.

Roger Arden: Making her way to the ring! From Manchester England, fighting out of Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 105lbs! She is The Rebel Queen...JENN...DREW!!!

Jenn Drew reaches ringside and stares up at the scaffold. She rubs her palms together, hopping on the balls of her feet before moving forward and scales the ladder to the top with an impressive quickness. Once she gets to the top, she strikes her pose, grinning as the crowd boos the shit out of her.


As the vocals of Queens Of The Stone Age burst through the crackling arena speakers, the crowd stand to their feet in anticipation! A thin wisp of smoke swirls and mingles with the vibrant silver-blue spotlight beaming down at the entryway. The shot slowly descends, gradually revealing a self-assured Cass Baumer with a small lighter in the path of the hairspray valve at an upward angle. The Kiwi's confident smile glints against the glow of her oscillating aerosol flamethrower. The boisterous audience pours down appreciation at the gaudy display. Once she's finished with the theatrics, The Headliner defiantly struts down the aisle in a dark silver-blue leather vest, weapons still in hand. As she nears the center of the clearing, she spins and steps backward, unashamedly showing off the glossy blue "Silver Mountain" emblem at the back of her distressed jacket.

Roger Arden: Her opponent, from Karori, Wellington, New Zealand! Weighing in at 141lbs! She is The Headliner...CASS...BAUMER!!


"Smooth Sailing" continues while Baumer's lips form a triumphant smirk, her head turned to the side 'til she leisurely twirls back with her arms extended when she nears the apron. She stops at the foot of the ramp and gazes up at the scaffold, beginning to remove her jacket.

Up above, Jenn Drew’s already motioning for her to bring that ass up. Cass Baumer tosses her jacket aside, talking trash right back up at her and steps up, beginning to climb the ladder. Jenn does make room for her but she looks anxious for the bell at the same time. As soon as Cass steps onto the scaffold, the ladder is removed. There’s no way down now but a long drop and a sudden stop….


Both women are up on the structure, all different kinds of weapons are hanging on the trusses and around the side of the scaffolding. The bell finally sounds and the two women are very hesitant to make the first move towards one another. Jenn looks at Cass and laughs as she shakes her head.

Jenn Drew: You’re nothing but a pathetic, wretched human being!

As a response, Cass attempts to end this early with fury in her eyes! She shouts and rushes forward along the scaffolding in a full sprint, but Jenn delivers a forearm shot to Cass that staggers her backwards. Jenn gets a running start and delivers a leg lariat that drives Cass down onto the steel structure they’re standing on. Jenn laughs as she stomps away at the head and chest of Cass before placing a foot on her and posing much to the displeasure of the crowd here in Madison Square Garden.

Nick Hanson: Jenn Drew getting a little cocky already.

Matt Salvatore: Jenn is using Cass’s emotion to goad her into making a mistake early on in this match and hoping to end it early.

Nick Hanson: By the looks of things, it’s working so far.

Still on her back, Cass looks down at the glass tables below then reaches out with effort to take a kendo stick from the weapon’s rack! She slaps Jenn with the blunt instrument until the pressure on her chest releases, allowing her to climb back to her feet. Jenn backs away a few steps, seeing Cass wielding the weapon in her hands. She mocks a look of fear before she slowly makes her way towards her foe. Baumer slaps Jenn in the cheek with the bamboo shinai, then slide tackles her opponent’s legs out from under her like a defensive soccer player! Jenn hits the metal face first, grabbing at her face as she lays there prone. Now behind Jenn, the former Silver Mountain Champion presses the kendo stick to her neck for a choke. Jenn gasps for air as she struggles to breathe, crawling towards one of the trusses where a garbage can lid is seen hanging lowly. Jenn reaches out, grabbing the weapon and swinging upwards and connecting with Cass. The shot forces her to break the choke and stumble back a few feet.

Jenn slowly gets up to her feet, still gasping for air as she tries to recover from the choke. Jenn though drops the lid and charges in, taking Cass down with a double leg takedown that causes her to drop the kendo stick. Jenn gets into a mount position and begins to just shower Cass with forearm strike after forearm strike to the top of the head. Jenn gets up to her feet and looks around at the variety of weapons. She grins as she finds a coil of barbed wire hanging from one of the trusses and she makes her way over, grabbing it and wrapping it around her fist.

Nick Hanson: I think things are about to pick up, Matt!

Matt Salvatore: Jenn is looking to beat down and bloody Cass Baumer. She has a look in her eyes of revenge and anger.

As The Headliner comes to and sits up, it’s revealed that she has an open wound on the top of her head from the repeated forearm strikes! Despite that, however, the SCUM main eventer notices the barbed wire and shouts for Drew to hit her again. Jenn walks up to Cass with pleasure and lands a fist to the top of the head of Cass. The blood coming down her face starts to flow a little more. Again, Cass shouts! Jenn lands another punch, taking a little bit of joy in this as can be shown on her face, but she sees Cass kind of enjoying it and that unsettles her just a little bit. Again! Cass is on her knees now. Jenn goes for another swing, but Baumer grabs the loose barbed wire around Jenn’s hand to embed it further into her opponent’s skin on the other side! Jenn yells out in pain as she feels the barbs rake against her skin, piercing into her, opening up her flesh as it becomes embedded into her hand now.

Nick Hanson: This isn’t a deathmatch!

Matt Salvatore: It is now! As far as I can tell, Cass has much more experience in these types of matches. Let’s see if she can keep her advantage.

Jenn tries to unwrap the barbed wire from around her hand, but as she does, Cass takes the wire and just rips it right out. Jenn’s hand is covered in blood now and is dripping through the grates and onto the glass tables below the two of them. For the first time in this match, Jenn looks genuinely scared, but as Cass is going for the barbed wire, Jenn delivers a pump kick to the midsection that pushes Cass back a few steps. This gives Jenn a moment to get a running start and deliver a spear that drives Cass back down onto the metal. Jenn looks at one of the trusses as it extends a good ten feet above the structure. Jenn gets a devilish grin on her face as she begins to climb up. As she reaches the top, she grabs a trash can that was hanging there. She takes a deep breath as she leaps and goes for a splash onto Cass. Baumer panics, grabbing a piece of thin wood with broken glass glued onto it as a shield!

Jenn comes flying down, the trash can falling out of her hand as she plummets towards Cass. She lands on the board and the glass cuts through her back and Jenn rolls off and starts rolling on the structure screaming out in pain as there are a few shards sticking out from her back and she lays on her stomach.

Nick Hanson: My god, Jenn has glass all through her back right now!

Matt Salvatore: I don’t think this match is quite done yet though, Nick.

Cass struggles to collect herself, broken glass breaking under her knees as she crawls in the other direction to the approval of the crowd. She’s still hurt from the dive. The makeshift shield only mitigated a portion of the damage. Baumer’s face is still covered in blood, and the bottle blonde now looks like she could be a redhead has her wet hair almost covers her eyes. Jenn tries to crawl away from Cass as she sees the woman start to move again, trying to make her way towards the edge. Cass tries to push Jenn off the platform with the little energy she still had, but as Cass reaches down, Jenn flips to her back, clearly wincing in pain as she has a small bundle of light tubes that she swings and connects over the head of Cass with! The white dust goes flying into the air as Cass falls down off her hands and knees. Jenn slowly makes her way up to her feet. She takes one of the broken ends of the tube and grabs Cass by the hair. She holds her head up as she looks down and shoves the sharp end right into the head of Cass, digging into her flesh with it. Cass cries out in agony! Jenn lets out a crazed scream as she releases Cass’ head and delivers a curb stomp right onto the metal structure. She then begins to roll Cass near the edge of the structure, looking to throw her off.

Nick Hanson: Baumer looks out of it! Is this the end? Is Jenn gonna do it?!

Matt Salvatore: This has to be over after that curb stomp, Nick. That had to have knocked Cass out cold!

The Collision Center crowd boos while Cass rolls to her side on Jenn’s strength alone, inches from the edge right above the glass tables. Right when one of her feet starts to dangle off the side and her arm extends off the perch, she grabs the edge tight! Cass pushes herself back against the force, yelling out loud while she gains strength with the audience’s support. With the chance to stay on NFW Collision on the line, Jenn struggles to push, having only one good hand to use to try and throw Cass off of the Spider’s Web structure and through the glass tables waiting for one of the poor unfortunate souls to go crashing through. She struggled, Cass unmoving as the crowd swelled in support for Cass, causing Jenn to lose focus for just a moment, and that was all it took. Finally, Baumer overpowers Drew and climbs back to her feet with the last bit of energy in her arsenal. With blood-red hair and a crimson mask, The Headliner shouts for Jenn to stand!

Cass Baumer: You blackmailed me! Get up and tell me who’s really pathetic!

Jenn struggles up to her feet, staring at Cass as she gets up to one knee before weakly getting up and standing up straight. She looks Cass in the face and just spits, hitting her opponent right in the face.

Jenn Drew: You’re still a pathetic leech! Nothing will EVER change that, Baumer. NOTHING!

And with that, a slap echoed through the quiet arena as Jenn’s good hand met the side of Cass’s face and she gave a wicked grin. Baumer is fuming, responding by running at her opponent with a modified spear of her own! When it connects, she lifts Jenn for a side slam for a few feet then drops her off the edge with frustration in her eyes! The sound of glass shattering around the bloody and broken body of Jenn Drew can be heard as she lays there on the mat, motionless, glass just scattered around her entire body.


Nick Hanson: Miramira from the Spider’s Web structure all the way down to the glass tables below! I’ve never seen anything like that, Matt!

Matt Salvatore: We need paramedics out here now! Jenn Drew might be seriously hurt right now after that fall!

Roger Arden: Here is your winner, “The Headliner” Cass Baumer!

As Cass looks off the side of the platform to the sounds of “Smooth Sailing” by Queens Of The Stone Age, she wipes a little bit of the blood off her face with her jacket sleeve but it doesn’t do much good. The smile on her face never came. All she did was stand there, watching as Jenn’s girlfriend, Sammi Belmont, hopped the barricade and came rushing into the ring to check on Jenn as the paramedics came rushing out from the back. They asked Sammi to back away as she looked up at Cass, tears in her eyes. The paramedics immediately started to get Jenn cleaned off and they started to put her onto a stretcher as she was wheeled up the ramp and towards the back.

Nick Hanson: What a brutal match between these two tonight.

Matt Salvatore: Well, I think I can speak for you when I say we hope Jenn Drew is going to be alright after that.

Nick Hanson: But congratulations to Cass Baumer for picking up the win tonight and keeping her spot on Collision intact.

Roger Arden: The following contest is a Triple Threat, Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match and it is for the NFW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!! There are no disqualifications, no countouts, no pinfalls and no submissions. The only way to win is to scale a ladder and retrieve BOTH of the Tag Team Championship belts that you see above the ring, now. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the teams....

Roger Arden: Introducing first, at a combined weight of 380lbs, from The Other Side of Sound Cloud! A.I.F.F...X.L.R! THEY ARE...SYLENTH...ONE!!

White smoke begins to cover the stage when "Together" by Marshmello begins, before a spotlight shines down on the center. Sylenth1 rise together on a platform from below, the elevator coming to a halt. The two look at one another, nod, and walk down to the ring in sync. AIFF and XLR move to the ring stairs on opposite corners, climbing through the ropes and walking up to each other in the center of the ring before turning to the hardcam. They turn back to one another, nod, and prepare for their match to begin.

The opening music of “Ride of the Valkyries” begins as the tron shows a battlefield. It shows two sides doing battle. We see four women, one dressed in blue, one dressed in black, another dressed in blue, and a fourth dressed in red. We see the faces of each as they slash a foe down. First, Moe Renhaum, then we flash to Lluvia Cane letting out a primal scream. Finally, we see Lilith Meadows and Christina Olson fighting back to back as they take down two foes. The battle shown goes through the entire first verse and chorus. The last shot sees them standing tall. The screen goes black as the lights come on at the stage and we see all four of them, dressed in their warrior garb, furs with colored highlights in their hair and warpaint of the same color from the video. Moe dressed in blue, Lluvia dressed in black, Lilith in white, and Christina in red. They all stare at the ring as Christina looks and grins.

Christina Olson, Lluvia Cane, Moe Renhaum, Lilith Meadows: Skol! Skol! Skol! Skol! Skol!

The crowd begins to chant along with them as they bang their heads to the chant. The song continues on as they march down to the ring, Lilith taking the lead followed by Christina and then Moe and Lluvia. The four of them march around the ring, continuing the chant.

Roger Arden: Their opponents! First! At a combined weight of 255lbs! They represent the Kingdom, they are Christina Olson, Lilith Meadows, The Last of the Valkyries!

The four of them get into the ring, standing side by side. The four of them lock arms as Lilith and Moe raise their free hands into the air and fist pump, starting a new chant for the crowd.

Christina Olson, Lluvia Cane, Moe Renhaum, Lilith Meadows: Vinna! Vinna! Vinna! Vinna!

The crowd once again chants along with the four of them as they break formation and Lluvia and Moe get out of the ring. Lilith and Christina remove the fur garment the four of them were wearing and hand it over to the ringside attendant as they hit their forearms together multiple times and screaming out before they stand in their corner and wait.

“Killing in the Name” by Rage Against the Machine starts playing over the sound system as the lights begin to slowly go in and out. As the hook begins, the lights come on fully and Jed Coffey is standing at the top of the entrance with his arms folded. He’s notably patched and bandaged after his brutal match from last night.


The fans immediately begin to boo the man as they know the rest of the Second City Riot Squad contingent is not far behind.

Leah Aguero and Layla Diaz arrive from out behind Coffey on either side. Diaz is sporting her typical red and black half lucha mask as Leah has a black bandana covering her face from the nose down and a backward baseball cap pulling her hair back. Both ladies are rocking the NFW Tag Team Titles around their waists. After posing at the top of the entrance, the trio start to make their way towards the ring, ignoring the heat they are receiving from the fans.

Roger Arden: AND...from Chicago, Illinois! At a combined weight of 258lbs! They are the NFW World Tag Team Champions! “The War Queen” Leah Aguero...Layla Diaz...THE SECOND...CITY...RIOT SQUAD!!

Jed Coffey is the first one up on the apron. He sits on the middle rope as both Leah Aguero and Layla Diaz enter the ring. He fist bumps both his SCRS mates before hopping down and waiting on the outside to watch the match. Leah and Layla both taunt Sylenth1 and The Last of the Valkyries, holding their belts up before passing them off to the referee.


The bell rings, and Sylenth1 immediately drops to the mat, rolling out to the floor as SCRS and The Valkyries collide head on. Leah and Lil begin to trade shots as Chrissy and Layla begin lock up in a test of strength. AIFF and XLR slide back into the ring, carrying a ladder and setting it up in the middle of the ring. Their plan to take advantage of the blood feud between the other two teams didn’t last long as Lil and Chrissy toss Leah and Layla over the top rope and down to the floor. Chrissy grabs AIFF, tossing the silver helmeted member of Sylenth1 into one corner, while Lil tosses the gold XLR into the opposite corner.

Nick Hanson: Can’t pull one over on The Valkyries!.

Matt Salvatore: And here comes Second City Riot Squad back into the ring. Say, I like that new name for Christina and Lilith, Nick! Don’t you?

Nick Hanson: It’s definitely an interesting change, Matt!

Before The Valkyries can take advantage of where they’ve thrown Sylenth1, SCRS comes into the ring armed with steel chairs. Layla slams her chair down over Chrissy’s back, knocking down the redhead. Leah tries to swing on Lil, but Meadows drops to the floor, causing Aguero to slam her chair down over the head of XLR. The golden half of Sylenth1 crumples to the floor, but AIFF storms out of the corner, a silver blur as he hits a hard lariat on Layla, blasting her to the floor. He immediately grabs the chair she dropped, throwing it across the ring and hitting Lil in the back with it.

Nick Hanson: Sylenth1 looking to prove they belong here!

Matt Salvatore: Not in the same ring as these other teams, but can they pace themselves?!

Chrissy is back on her feet, hitting the ropes and coming across the ring, under the ladder, and hitting a big bulldog on AIFF. She immediately springs to her feet before hitting the ropes and rebounding again to hit a huge dropkick on Layla as she gets back to her feet. Olsen is fired up, and she looks like she’s thinking about climbing the ladder, until a kendo stick cracks down over her back, wielded by Leah. Diaz turns, swinging the kendo stick, but XLR back bends, dodging the strike before hitting a pele kick on Leah.

Nick Hanson: These teams are pulling out all the stops, Matt!

Matt Salvatore: This match has been electric from the start!

AIFF is back on his feet, and he’s joined XLR in the middle of the ring. Christina and Lilith join up in one corner, and SCRS stands in their corner. All three teams are staring each other down before Lil and Chrissy look over to Leah and Layla. Both teams turn towards Sylenth1 before looking back to each other with a nod.

Nick Hanson: Uh oh… this isn’t good…

Matt Salvatore: These two teams don’t like each other, but they probably dislike Sylenth1 even more…

The Valkyries join hands, as do Second City Riot Squad, before both teams dash in towards Sylenth1, looking for clotheslines. Both men get dropped before The Valkyries and SCRS go head to head again. Synchronized superkicks from SCRS drop The Valkyries to the mat. Before they can capitalize, AIFF hits a back body drop on Layla Diaz before XLR hits a dropkick and Leah Aguero. XLR hits the ropes before AIFF launches him up into the air before stepping out of the way so he XLR lands on both Layla and Leah with a senton. AIFF gets on the ladder, making his way toward the top.

Nick Hanson: First time one of these teams has made an attempt to get to the titles.

Matt Salvatore: I think he’s making a mistake here. Hey, you about to fuck up, boy!

Lilith is on the outside of the ring setting up a table as Chrissy hits a hard forearm shiver, knocking XLR over the top rope. She immediately gets to the side of the ladder, putting her hands on the rails. Lilith slides back into the ring, hitting the ropes and rebounding back to dropkick the ladder, giving it enough momentum to start to tip. AIFF goes down with the ladder as well, slamming through the table as the ladder hits the top rope.

Nick Hanson: Oh AIFF is down and down hard!

Matt Salvatore: Sylenth1 has been effectively cut in half but here comes XLR!

The golden member of the silent tag team leaps off the top rope, looking for a missile dropkick on Olson, but she sidesteps, causing the helmeted wrestler to hit the mat hard. She can’t capitalize, however, because Leah Aguero comes up from behind her and hits a bulldog at a run. Layla Diaz looks to hit Lilith with a lariat, but Meadows ducks it at a run, leaping up and hitting a slingblade on Aguero. She gets back to her feet, rebounding off the ropes to come back and hit Diaz, but Layla’s got a chair now, and blasts Lilith over the back with the weapon, dropping her with a cry. Second City Riot Squad grabs the ladder, looking to set it up under the titles, but XLR has gotten to his feet. He throws a superkick at Aguero, connecting, but Layla hits XLR with a superkick of her own. Diaz is the only one on her feet now, and she looks up the ladder before beginning to climb.

Nick Hanson: Second City Riot Squad making THEIR first attempt here!

Matt Salvatore: Christina Olson not gonna let that happen!

Olsen climbs up the ladder behind Layla, turning around on the ladder to bring Diaz to the mat with a huge powerbomb! Lilith comes off the top rope, hitting a huge leg drop on Layla! They dump Layla out of the ring, but Leah climbs into the ring, immediately sprints forward, throwing a double lariat and knocking The Valkyries down to the mat. She tosses Chrissy and Lil out to the floor, turning to position the ladder. She starts climbing the ladder, but XLR begins to climb on the other side. Both members get to the top of the ladder, and immediately begin to throw elbow strikes at one another.

Nick Hanson: We’ve got a battle for supremacy here at the top of the ladder!

Matt Salvatore: AIFF is finally beginning to stir… never mind!

The Valkyries immediately throw AIFF toward the timekeepers area, sending him over the half wall and into the chairs and table holding the ring bell. They immediately head back into the ring, hitting synchronized knee strikes on Layla as she attempts to get to her feet. XLR grabs Leah, slamming her face first into the top of the ladder twice before tossing her off the side and down to the mat below. He reaches a gold plated glove up, reaching for the titles, but Olson is up the ladder behind him, grabbing him by the legs. He struggles, gripping the ladder for support as he kicks Chrissy off of him, sending her down to the mat as well.

Nick Hanson: XLR hanging on! We could have new champs right here!

Matt Salvatore: But here comes The Dark Faerie!

Lil scrambles up the ladder, getting to the top as XLR fumbles with the ring holding the belts. She blasts him in the throat with a forearm, causing him to drop his hands before she hits him in the throat again, causing him to fall backwards off the ladder and into a heap at the bottom. Meadows reaches up, unhooking the ring, sitting on top of the ladder clutching the titles.


Roger Arden: Here are your winners AAAAAAAND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! CHRISTINA OLSON!!! LILITH MEADOWS!!!!! THE LAST...OF THE VALKYRIES!!!!!!

Nick Hanson: Meadows does it!

Matt Salvatore: That match was anyone's ballgame, but The Last of the Valkyries called their shot with the TLC match and capitalized!

Lil makes her way down the ladder, holding the titles as Chrissy wraps her in a huge hug. XLR goes to check on AIFF as SCRS makes their way back up the ramp, and The Last of the Valkyries celebrate in the ring.

Result: Tables, Ladders, Chairs Match

The cameras return to the ringside area where Roger Arden stands in the center of the ring with his microphone ready. Surrounding the ring, already, are the men and women - both from inside and outside of NFW - that are serving as lumberjacks/lumberjills for the upcoming match.

Roger Arden: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a Lumberjack Match and it is for the New Frontier Silver Mountain Championship! In addition, the following rules have been added to the match: turnbuckle paddings have been removed and may be used freely by the competitors. The only way to win is by first, performing their pre-designated finishing maneuver before attempting a fall! If their opponent kicks out, they must perform their finisher again before attempting another fall! The challenger has chosen the Khao Loi, the champion has chosen the Black Lion Bomb. First we will introduce the neutral lumberjacks chosen by Luthor Callaway. Melody, Jamie Austin, Qiyanna Marshal, Kairi Higurashi and taking the place of Amelia Abernathy, her bodyguard, Red!

The camera pans to show Amelia Abernathy sitting in the front row behind one of the barrier’s drinking a glass of champagne. Red is standing beside her, arms crossed and stone faced as the other four lumberjacks head down the ramp and take their place. Amelia nods to Red and he simply steps over the barricade and takes his place.

Roger Arden: Next, the lumberjacks chosen by the challenger, Morgan Payne. Lana Corvin, Jammie Emmerson, Coda, Lash Donahue and Lara Bratton

The somewhat strange and eclectic group make their way out with the fans unsure as they like some of the lumberjacks and dislike the others. Lash does get a nice reaction as he engages the audience while Coda simply gives them a wave and the others ignore them completely.

Roger Arden: Now the lumberjacks chosen by the champion, Minoru Tanahashi, FM Young, Megan Coleman, Cindy Coleman, Mayumi Tanahashi, and Hirata Doukeki!

There’s a bit of shock from the crowd as The Poison Dragon is announced as the surprise fifth lumberjack. The Coleman sister and FM Young are out first, mostly business, but they do acknowledge the fans. Mayumi is out next and is all smiles as she gives a few fans fist bumps. Doukeki is the final one to come out, just strolling down to the ring and taking her place, ignoring all the extra stuff going on.

Nick Hanson: Wow, Hirata Doukeki is the fifth lumberjack for Minoru Tanahashi. I can honestly say that I was not expecting this. Tanahashi pulled an ace out of his sleeve for sure.

Matt Salvatore: Is it really fair he got to replace lumberjack at the last minute? I know I know, Cass Baumer is in no shape to be out here after that freaking awesome match earlier, but he had already made his choices.

Roger Arden: And now, introducing the competitors!

The lighting in the arena goes completely out. The inside of Madison Square Garden’s ringside area is shrouded in darkness. Cell phones come on to serve as some semblance of light but it does little to illuminate anything before the video tron comes to life with an overhead shot of New York City at night. The camera sweeps over the city, drifting away from the busy night life to a strangely desolate section of winding highways. As the angle swoops down, honing in on the road, a lone rider is noticeable, tearing down the highway on a customized Harley Davidson motorcycle. The camera jumps to the spinning wheel of the bike, slowly crawling up to the back of the rider, revealing an “Easy V, Vlad Blackheart” biker’s kutte. Their face is concealed by a full face helmet with the visor down but as the cell phone goes off, the rider presses the bluetooth button and a mini cam from inside the helmet shows us the recognizable eyes of Morgan Payne.

Morgan Payne: Ey mami!

She whistles into the helmet. On the other end, we hear the sound of Sativa Nevaeh’s voice coming through the speaker.

Sativa Nevaeh: Babe! ¿Dónde diablos estás? You’re up any minute!

Morgan Payne: Heeey, chill aht, Boo! I’m on my way. Had some other shit ta handle.

Sativa Nevaeh: Uhh, you got some shit to handle here!

Morgan’s eyes twinkle inside the helmet as she tears down the highway.

Morgan Payne: Boo, c’mon. Like I’mma miss a chance to kick dis palooka’s ass. Don’t yinz be worryin’ ‘baht me. I’ll be there in a few.

Sativa Nevaeh: Hehe. That’s my good girl. Te amo.

Morgan Payne: Te amo más. Kiss da girls!

Morgan switches off the bluetooth and continues riding when suddenly, way back behind her, another rider appears. Spikes protruding from his hellish looking bike. Fire spews from the exhaust pipes. This rider isn’t even human! It’s a demonic looking skeleton with thick, white hair whipping through the air behind its head. Actually, it’s not just a skeleton. This rider might look...oddly familiar. The shot cuts back to inside of Morgan’s helmet. She looks in her bike’s side mirror as the ghastly rider closes in on her and just shakes with a chuckle.

Morgan Payne: Ahh, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. Dis how ya want it, huh? A’ight, leggo!

Morgan guns the throttle on her bike and roars down the road. Eddie the Head burns pavement right after her, leaving a trail of fire before the tron cuts to black and….

The lights in the arena come back on right as IRON MAIDEN, themselves, start a live performance of “The Final Frontier.” It’s hard to tell if this is still a wrestling event or if it’s suddenly become a metal concert as Steve Harris tears it up on bass, Dave Murray, Janick Gers and Adrien Smith shred away on their guitars, Nicko McBrain pounds out the drum rhythm and, of course, Bruce Dickinson’s immortal voice flows across the Garden.


Meanwhile, light fills the entryway and smoke pours out across the stage. With the roar of a motorcycle engine, Morgan Payne reappears, riding out onto the stage on her custom built Iron Maiden Harley - built by Rory Kenyon and gifted to her by Stephanie Kenyon. This time, she’s in her ring gear with sunglasses, a “#BTK” skull cap, her Easy V kutte and black riding chaps over her legs. She revs her engine and turns, nodding her head to the music as she points respectfully to the band. Bruce even takes a moment to step over and fist bump her, never breaking his rhythm. Morgan rides her bike down the entrance ramp, damn near gunning it before she slows down at ringside. She circles the bike around, deliberately making any of the lumberjacks not picked out by her have to scramble out of the way. Her own five seem to already know what she had planned. Morgan circles around the ring, pointing the bike towards the ramp again and kills the engine. She swings her leg off and calls for the camera to zoom in on her back, showing off the memorial kutte she’s wearing.

Roger Arden: Introducing the challenger, from THE BURGH!! Weighing in at 140lbs! Representing THE KINGDOM! MOOOORRRRRRRRGAAAAAAAAAAN...PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYNE!!!!!!!!!!!

As she’s announced, she runs up onto the apron, gets into the ring and immediately climbs the turnbuckle, throwing up the horns and pumping her arm to the song’s rhythm. She drops down to the mat then, watching the lumberjacks with a wry smirk before removing her entrance gear: beanie, shades, kutte, chaps and she’s ready to go.

Roger Arden: Her opponent, he weights in at two hundred and thirty five pounds, from Tokyo Japan, he is the NFW Silver Mountain Champion… MINORU TANAHASHI!!

The lights in The Collision Center suddenly dim, then turn a dark red, the crowd murmuring a bit waiting for an over the top entrance.


As those words fill the air the screen comes to life with the image of two old school style cord sandals over dark red socks. They begin to move forward as the camera pans up to reveal a man in a long black robe with a belt tied loosely around his waist in the same blood red color. A tattered and torn sleeveless white robe is pulled over it before the face of Minoru Tanahashi is revealed, his hair spiked up and highlighted red. He smirks as he raises a simple black katana with several notches that look like teeth dripping with blood along the middle of the blade.

Minoru slashes forwards with his sword and everything goes black. Shiro Sagisu’s “Number One” begins to play and after a few seconds, the lights return, still dim and dark as smoke rises from the top of the ramp. Through the smoke we can see three blades that look much like the one Minoru had in the video. As the smoke fades slightly, it’s seen that the blade’s extend out of a large black roaring lion gauntlet attached to the hand of Minoru Tanahashi, now in a pair of Black tights with a blood red demonic lion on the right leg and jagged teeth running down the left. The tattered sleeveless robe is there once more, but has now turned the same blood red color with shaggy black fur around the sleeves. The smoke finally clears and we see a pale white mask in the visage of a lion’s skull, the mane is black and red, shaggy and unkempt. The Silver Mountain title around his waist stands out in the sea of black and red, it’s silver and blue clashing a bit. Minoru doesn’t look at the fans or try to hype them up in any way, he simply stares down the ramp right into the ring at his opponent. He raises his weapon and points it straight at Morgan Payne before he slowly stalks his way down to the ring, the lion mask hiding any emotion as he makes his way towards his opposition. He slowly heads up the stairs, stops on the apron, wipes his feet and enters the ring. He raises the gauntlet, the blades resting against his mask before he slashes forward and the lights return to normal.

Nick Hanson: Challenger and champion going all out with their entrances tonight. That’s one of the fun things about Wrestlewar, so many go all out in every way.

Matt Salvatore: He has a freaking sword Nick? The man has walked into the arena and down to the ring with a weapon. He doesn’t get to use that in the match, right? I like violence as much as the next guy, actually a lot more than the next guy, but even I draw the line at using a freaking samurai sword.

Nick Hanson: He can not use it in the match, and I am certain that the blades are dulled and just for show. Minoru is a little crazy, but not insane.


The second the bell rings, Morgan rushes Minoru and looks for Khao Loi right out of the gate. Minoru dives down, pops back up spins around and catches Morgan with a hard knife edge chop as she turns. He hits a few more chops to back Morgan into the corner, whips her across towards the other turnbuckle, but Morgan is able to reverse, at the last second. Minoru is just able to stop short of colliding with the exposed steel. Morgan sees this, charges in again, and now Minoru sidesteps her attack. Morgan is just able to grab the ropes and halt her momentum before she crashes into the steel. Minoru is right there and he catches her with a release German suplex. Morgan rolls to the ropes and pulls herself up, but as soon as she’s on here feet, Minoru sends her over the top rope with a clothesline. Morgan ends up on the side of Minoru’s lumberjacks and glares at the first person to try and pull her up, but then nods and pushes off when she sees that it’s FM Young. Inside the ring Minoru has stepped back and is waiting for Morgan to get back in. Morgan slides in, stands up and gets right in Minoru’s face. He cracks his knuckles and they lock up in the middle. Morgan tries to use her lower center of gravity to pull Minoru over, but he’s planted and using his considerable height and weight advantage to bully Morgan back into the corner. Morgan smirks and steps up onto the bottom rope, then the middle, She uses that to push off and turns it into a Ogoshi. She sends Minoru up and over with the hip throw. Minoru rolls to the outside, luckily on his side. Cindy and Mayumi go to help him, but he waves them off, slides back into the ring and catches a basement dropkick right to the midsection.

Matt Salvatore: Morgan Payne not pulling any punches here, shows the champ no respect. That’s what you gotta do if you wanna be a champion..

Nick Hanson: I would disagree, but she has taken control of this match after a back and forth fight early on.

Morgan keeps Minoru grounded with a soccer style kick to the gut as he attempts to get back to his feet. Morgan let’s Minoru start to get up, but only so she can law in kicks to his leg and midsection, working to break him down. Minoru’s leg buckles slightly and Morgan uses that to pull him into a snap suplex. Minoru looks for a Calf Slicer after that, but Minoru is able to get to the ropes. Minoru pulls himself up on the ropes and gets caught with a Sok Klap, rocking him, his arm draped over the rope the only thing holding him up. Morgan sees this and kicks the rope, sending his arm shooting upwards. Morgan shows quick wit and reflexes as she grabs the arm and uses his momentum to send him up and over with a t-bone suplex. Morgan is in control now as she pulls Minoru up and connects with the Te Tat. Minoru is on wobbly legs allowing Morgan to send him flying into the corner, his back connecting with the hard steel. Minoru winces in pain, then falls back into the corner. Morgan follows Minoru into the corner with a running clothesline, then follows that up with Yoi Yoi Double Yoi. Minoru looks to be in a daze after catching that dropkick. He slowly stumbles up to his feet looking drunk. Morgan smirks, charges in and looks for the Khao Loi knee once more, but Minoru somehow manages to sidestep her at the last second. Morgan is slightly shocked and turns around just in time to get levelled with Kabukicho Nights

Nick Hanson: Minoru with that massive discus lariat and he has turned this thing around.

Matt Salvatore: Yea he has. He nearly took Morgan’s head off with that one. If this was a normal match, he might be able to cover and get the three right there.

Nick Hanson: If it were a normal match, but he has got to hit that Black Lion Bomb in order to have the pin count.

Minoru slowly gets to his feet and decides to rest against the ropes for a few seconds to shake the cobwebs and steady his breathing. Minoru steps away from the ropes, sees Morgan down and takes a step toward her, but he’s still a little bit wobbly. He nods, grabs Morgan’s legs, turns her over and quickly applies the Keimusho Saifu. This allows him a little extra time to recover, while infuriating Morgan. Payne struggles to break out of the hold as Minoru looks to the crowd and stomps twice then claps, he repeats until they join in with him, and then he charges right at Morgan and hits a basement shotgun dropkick right to her backside. The hold is broken with the strike that sends Morgan lunging forward a bit. Morgan rolls to the corner and pulls herself up, clearly in a bit of pain. Minoru charges in and looks for another Kabukicho Nights in the corner, but Morgan is able to move out of the way causing Minoru to crash sternum first into the exposed steel, driving all the air out of him. Morgan slides behind him and hits a big saito suplex, dumping Minoru on his head. Minoru rolls away and sort of stumbles up to his feet only to get dropped with an axe bomber from Morgan. Minoru is even slower to get up this time, but he’s right back on the mat again, this time courtesy of a Northern lariat. Minoru gets up and swings wildly, almost looking out on his feet. Morgan rears back with an elbow and swings, but Minoru just manages to duck and smiles slightly, only to have his face fucked courtesy of Morgan’s knee as she had baited him and caught him with the F.Y.F.

Matt Salvatore: Damn, Morgan Payne might have knocked Tanahashi out with that vicious knee strike. She looks in good position to set and deliver that Khao Loi.

Nick Hanson: She certainly is, but it looks like Minoru is well aware of that and he’s taking a powder. Not sure how much good it will do as the lumberjacks are already descending.

Minoru grabs the ring apron to start getting up as the lumberjacks go to grab him, but back off when they see Morgan charging towards them. Morgan drops down and blasts Minoru with a baseball slide that sends him flying towards the barricade. He crashes into it and goes tumbling over. Morgan thinks about going after him, but stops when Amelia Abernathy starts freaking out and recoils in terror, spilling her champagne she screams “GET HIM AWAY FROM ME” Red is over there in an instant. He grabs Minoru by the throat and drags him over the barricade. He then takes the champ and raises him up into a gorilla press position. The massive man walks over towards the apron and then tosses Minoru in through the top and middle rope. Morgan just stands back and allows this to happen, standing in the corner nearest Minoru’s lumberjacks. She looks at Mayumi and gives her a wink, then smirks as Minoru is slowly getting to his feet. Morgan rushes right at Minoru and catches him with Khao Loi, rocking his jaw and sending him spinning and then down. Morgan is about to cover, but before she can, Minoru rolls to the outside. Amelia stands up and yells, “RED, DESTROY HIM FOR MAKING ME SPILL MY CHAMPAGNE!” Red nods, cracks his knuckles and heads towards Minoru, but the other neutral lumberjacks stop him, Kairi Higurashi turning towards Minoru’s lumberjacks to back them off. Minoru is simply picked up and rolled back inside the ring. Morgan pulls Minoru away from the ropes, covers

THRE -KICK OUT!

Nick Hanson: Morgan Payne so close to becoming the new Silver Mountain champion, but Minoru Tanahashi continues to show good instincts and gives himself a small bit of time to recover on the outside.

Matt Salvatore: That’s great and I am digging the stiff strikes both have employed, but can both of them use these exposed turnbuckles more. Neither one of them has driven the others head into the steel and that’s very disappointing.


Morgan doesn’t let up, pulling Minoru up his arm and delivering a judo hip toss followed by a stepover armlock knee drop. Morgan drives her knee down onto the arm, then stretches it back out and delivers a simple double stomp to the arm. Morgan keeps her focus on the arm as she wrenches it and brings Minoru up to his feet. She hits another judo toss and again delivers the stepover armlock knee drop. Minoru rolls to the ropes and pulls himself up with his good arm. Morgan is on him in a flash though and lays in several stiff kicks to his arm. Morgan whips Minoru across the ring and delivers a Japanese style arm drag as he comes back. Morgan transitions into a bicep slicer, but Minoru is quick to push back with his good arm and rolls into the ropes, causing Morgan to break the submission. Minoru again uses the ropes to pull himself up and again Morgan is waiting with kicks to the arm and shoulder. She whips him into one of the turnbuckles this time and catches him with an arm drag as he stumbles out of the corner. Megan wrenches the arm and looks for a hammerlock, but Minoru pulls her towards him and jumps up with a vicious forearm. Minoru stands and tries to shake out some of the pain in his arm. Morgan is getting back to her feet and Minoru hits the ropes, but he’s tripped up by Lana and Jamie. He turns around, and starts yelling at them, allowing Morgan time to recover and when he turns back around, she catches him with a Flying Cross Armbar, turning so that he’s away from the ropes. Morgan cranks back on the submission, knowing she can’t get the win from it, but damaging his arm more will only help her. Minoru tries to roll, twisting his body and stretching his legs to try and get to the safety of the ropes, but Morgan has him perfectly positioned for the submission hold. Minoru goes to his back, then pulls his knees up, pushes upwards and rolls through in an attempt to break the hold. Morgan rolls with him and transitions into a kneeling Fujiwara armbar. Minoru gets to his knees and slowly pushes up with a sudden burst of energy, raising Morgan up and dropping back, slamming her down with a modified electric chair drop. Minoru clutches his arm as he gets to his feet, massaging his bicep to try and work out some of the pain and make sure his shoulder is still in socket. Morgan gets to her feet and is immediately rocked by an enziguri from Minoru. Minoru turns slightly to land mostly on his good arm, making sure the other doesn’t absorb too much off the kick. Minoru gets back to his feet as Morgan is dazed on one knee. Minoru grabs Morgan’s head, jumps up and uses the ropes to his a big DDT, spiking Morgan in the middle of the ring. Minoru shakes out a little more of the pain in his arm, then goes to the apron and heads up to the top rope. Minoru looks out at the crowd and yells “GUCHI O NOMU” and then flies off with the Osake Bomb, crashing down onto Morgan with the devastating swanton bomb.

Matt Salvatore: Minoru Tanahashi throwing caution to the wind with that big top rope move, driving the air out of Morgan Payne. What’s that thing he said before though?

Nick Hanson: Well it loosely translates to drink up… friends. Yes, he said friends. The Osake Bomb is an impressive move, but it’s also a big risk. Morgan Payne gets her knees up, hits a Khao Loi, this thing is over.

Minoru again uses his time to slow his breathing and try to get the feeling back in his limbs. Morgan gets to her feet only to be backed into the corner with a hard chop. Minoru follows with a European uppercut and then delivers a snap suplex, twisting slightly to again avoid landing on his arm more than necessary. Minoru gets up and Morgan isn’t far behind, but Minoru is still able to catch her with a few quick forearms and another snap suplex. Minoru rolls through this time, brings Morgan up to her feet and transitions into a Northern Lights suplex. Morgan drops to a knee to block the attempt, but Minoru delivers a clubbing blow to her back and turns it into a gutwrench suplex. It’s Minoru focused on the midsection of Morgan now as he hits a running soccer kick, driving the air out of Morgan. Minoru is fired up now, grabs Morgan and connects with a vicious tiger suplex, dropping Morgan right on her head. Minoru signals for the end, pulls Morgan up and hooks her in position for the Black Lion Bomb. He starts to raise Morgan, but his arm gives out and he has to put her back down. Morgan frees her arm, but Minoru quickly drives a knee into her midsection, traps the arm again and powers her up. Minoru has her trapped and ready to drop her when she suddenly catches him with a headbutt right across the bridge of the nose. Minoru drops and she frees herself from his grasp. Morgan gets up on wobbly legs as it looks like there’s a little bit of blood on her forehead. Minoru grips the ropes and starts to pull himself up, his legs seemingly not even working as their just limp. Minoru hangs on to the top rope and then goes flying up and over courtesy of Tastes Like Timbaland Boot, Bitch! Minoru ends up on the side with her lumberjacks, specifically right in front of Lana and Jamie. The ref pulls Morgan away from the ropes and starts checking her forehead as the blood is from a small cut where she had used her head as a weapon. On the outside, Lana and Jamie see that the ref and Morgan are both distracted and deliver a double dick kick to the black lion. Minoru clutches at his most precious area as he looks shocked. He drops to his knees, but the daughters of darkness don’t let him go down, instead they each grab an arm and throw him towards the ring apron, causing him to connect with the hard steel before they roll him back inside.

Nick Hanson: Oh come on now. That is just ridiculous. I might not agree with how Minoru handles some of his business and I know these ladies felt disrespected by him, but that is just

Matt Salvatore: Bullshit. You don’t kick a guy in the dick, you don’t punt a woman in the… well I don’t wanna get fired, but you know. What’s done is done though, I don’t think that was something Morgan would approve of, notice they made sure she wasn’t looking. For her, she’s got him down and hurt and needs to take advantage

Cindy Coleman and Mayumi Tanahashi are on the warpath, running around the empty side of the ring, Cindy blindsides Lana with a clothesline as Mayumi jumps up on to the ring steps, flies off and catches Jamie with a hurricanrana. Lana and Cindy are trading punches when Lana poked her in the eye and then takes Mayumi down with a clothesline from behind. Lana helps up her girlfriend and tag team partner as Cindy helps Mayumi to her feet. The four women start trading punches and the ref jumps outside to try and break them up. Megan comes around to attempt to pull her sister away, but as she does, Lana blasts her with a right hand. Now all of the lumberjacks have rushed over, breaking up the brawl. Inside the ring Minoru is slowly getting up to his feet, He clings to the ropes as his hand rests over the recently attacked area. Minoru breathes deep as he takes a few steps forward, wincing with every one. He then seems to remember he’s in a wrestling match and turns to try and find Morgan. He does find her, right as she connects with the Khao Loi. Morgan covers and hooks the leg, but there is no referee. Morgan easily has the three count, probably a five, maybe even a ten. But the ref is still getting all of the lumberjacks separated and warning them that anything else like that happens, he will disqualify the wrestler who’s lumberjack starts the fight. Cindy is arguing that they kicked Minoru low, but he didn’t see it. Morgan releases the cover, goes over to the ropes and starts yelling at him to get in and do his job. The official sends the lumberjacks back to their respective areas and gets in the ring.

Matt Salvatore: Oh and now it is Morgan getting screwed over because of Tanahashi’s lumberjacks going and attacking Lana and Jamie. I get it, they were mad about what happened, but now they did exactly what Minoru didn’t want.

Nick Hanson: Emotions can sometimes get the better of a person, especially when they see someone they care about attacked. They are separated now, and hopefully the shenanigans are done.

Morgan is furious yelling that she had a freaking ten count on Minoru and would be the champion right now if not for him. Morgan then looks at Cindy and Mayumi with a murderous glare, but then shakes her head and instead kicks Minoru right in the side of the head. Morgan then starts raining down stomps to the head, neck and shoulder of Minoru, her anger getting the better of her for a bit. The ref actually has to pull Morgan back for a second. They go to check on Minoru, but Minoru is already crawling away from the assault. Morgan shoves the ref aside and delivers a sliding knee strike right to the side of Minoru’s head. Minoru makes it over to the corner and slowly sits up, but that just allows Morgan Payne to come charging in with a sliding forearm strike. Morgan’s momentum almost takes her to the outside, but she catches herself and stands on the apron. Minoru crumbles and rolls away from the corner. He starts to slowly get to his feet and Morgan slingshots in with a DDT. Minoru somehow manages to block it and shoves Morgan back into the exposed steel of the turnbuckle. Minoru backs into the ropes, comes forward and blasts her with Akihabara Dreams out of desperation. Minoru drops down as Morgan falls forward. The ref looks at both wrestlers down on the mat and begins his count.

Morgan is up to her feet as well, and looks to go right on the offensive. Morgan charges Minoru and looks for another Tastes Like Timbaland Boot, Bitch!, but Minoru sidesteps her and she crashes into the turnbuckle, her leg hanging over the top rope. With Morgan trapped, Minoru hits Kabukicho Nights to her back, driving Morgan into the corner. Minoru hooks the leg trapped on the top rope and hits an inverted exploder suplex.

Matt Salvatore: Tanahashi using that exposed turnbuckle to really hurt Morgan Payne, driving her chest into the steel but also pushing her leg a bit higher on that rope.

Nick Hanson: Almost stretched to an unnatural position before he hit that suplex. He needs to stay on the attack though. Morgan Payne is tough, resilient and motivated, so he has got to hit that big move soon or he might not get another chance.

Minoru is ready to end it and again sets for the Black Lion Bomb. Minoru powers Morgan up, but she manages to free an arm, grabs his hair and repositions herself. Morgan shows off her athleticism and surprises everyone with a hurricanrana that sends Minoru crashing head first into the turnbuckle. Minoru rolls to the outside again and this time it’s luckily where his lumberjacks are. Cindy checks on him first and motions for the ref, further pissing Morgan off. Morgan rolls out of the ring, walks straight up to Cindy and pushes her back. Morgan then grabs Minoru by the hair and slings him back into the ring, yelling at the ref to make them do their damn job. Morgan slides back into the ring and gets set for Khao Loi, but the ref backs her up and says he has to check on the cut that’s developed over the left eye of Tanahashi. Minoru tries to push him away, but the official insists on checking on him. The blood is cleaned and ointment applied to stop the bleeding. Minoru gets to his feet and is immediately caught with a discus clothesline that sends him crashing backwards into the corner. Minoru stumbles out of the corner just in time to see Morgan charging for Khao Loi. Minoru ducks slightly and counters it, raising Morgan up onto his shoulder and then driving her down to the mat with an Emerald Flowsion like move.

Nick Hanson: Lion’s Fang from Minoru Tanahashi. We had heard about it, but had not seen it used before tonight.

Matt Salvatore: A devastating move. Probably wishing he would have chosen it as his finisher.

Nick Hanson: Well it’s looking like it was a desperation move. Both wrestlers down again as they have pushed each other to the absolute limit tonight.

Both wrestlers are down again, bloody, beaten and tired. The ref looks and again begins his count.

Minoru and Morgan both get to a knee and stare each other down. Morgan then throws a right hand connecting with the jaw of Minoru. Minoru fires back with a right of his own to the jaw of Morgan, and now it’s a pure slug fest as they trade punches while slowly working to their feet. Morgan connects with a vicious elbow that stuns Minoru a bit, but he comes back with a European uppercut that manages to stun Morgan. Morgan fires back with a succession of chops, blistering the chest of the champion, but Minoru comes back with one of his own and it sounds like a gunshot echoing through the arena. Both take a few deep breaths and then go right back at each other, trading punches. After several more hard rights and lefts, Morgan is able to rock Minoru with another elbow, then follows that with Sok Tong. With Minoru dazed, Morgan shows off her power, bringing him up onto her shoulders Dahntahn After Dahk, he drives a few elbows right into Morgan’s neck and slips off her shoulders. Minoru stumbles back towards the ropes, then charges forward and connects with Akihabara Dreams, taking Morgan down.

Matt Salvatore: Morgan Payne going for the move she is best known for using to finish off, but Tanahashi has had her very well scouted, drives elbows into her freaking neck and counters.

Nick Hanson: This thing has been so back and forth, I have no idea who is winning and it could go twenty more minutes or maybe end in the next ten seconds.

Minoru looks at his down opponent and signals for the Black Lion Bomb, then suddenly rushes towards the ropes, flying to the outside with a suicide dive that takes out Lana and Jamie. He pops up to his feet and screams, the crowd cheering on the insane move. Minoru fist bumps a few fans, slides back in, stands up and is IMMEDIATELY CAUGHT WITH KHAO LO--NO!! Minoru pops Morgan up onto his shoulders for a powerbo--NO!! Morgan goes over his head and lands on her feet! She pivots! Low kick to the back of the knee and Minoru drops! Payne steps back! SUPERKIIIIIIIIICK to the back of the head of the Black Lion!! Minoru’s dazed! Payne hits the ropes!! KHAO LOI!!!!!! She drags herself over him for a cover and lays back, desperately hugging a leg!!

Matt Salvatore: She caught Minoru with that Khao Loi after an ill advised dive to the outside to take out Lana Corvin and Jammie Emmerson!!!

Nick Hanson: I know they have had their issues and that attack on him earlier was cheap, but hit your big move, get the pin and then do that.

Matt Salvatore: Well, them’s the breaks and it cost The Black Lion big, but what a damn match these two put on! They should both be proud!

“The Final Frontier” rocks the Garden once again as Morgan sits on her knees in the center of the ring, hugging the title close to her chest with tears in her eyes. She stares down at the plate in exhausted disbelief as two of her lumberjacks - the Daughters of Darkness - rush into the ring and go to her. Lana Corvin claps her on the shoulders while Jamie Emmerson slides on her knees, hugging her half-sister around the neck. When Morgan finds the energy to get to her feet, she’s got her fire again and runs up a turnbuckle, raising the belt in the air with a roar. The celebration in the ring continues as Minoru Tanahashi leaves the ring along with the rest of the lumberjacks. Morgan continues celebrating with Jamie and Lana as the shot cuts away.
