Prelim Tag Match #1.
Super Tiger & FM Young v. Ronnie North & Akane Suzuki
To say Ronnie and Akane have been having a rough go of it as a team is definitely an understatement. Super Tiger and FM were firing on all cylinders here in the match, showing off their skills and teamwork. The two of them kept the ring cut in half and kept Akane in the match. FM would finally hit Heart of the Phoenix and hook the leg and pick up the win for her team.
Winner: FM Young and Super Tiger
Prelim Tag Match #2.
Graham Baker & Adrianna Salvatore v. Griffin Hawkins and Leo Cook
Graham and Adrianna tonight seemed to have finally gotten on the same page here in this match against Griffin and Leo. The two of them showed great teamwork finally, cutting the ring in half and isolating Leo for a big portion of this match. The two of them mad frequent tags, but Adrianna went for a MOAB Launcher, but Leo was able to leap over her and tag Griffin into the match. Griffin came in and the crowd went wild as he began to clear house and bring his team back into things. Griffin had Adrianna to himself and he would deliver a Glam Slam before delivering Seventh Star and Leo would take Graham off the apron as Griffin hooked the leg and picked up the win.
Winner: Griffin Hawkins and Leo Cook
Prelim Tag Match #3.
Damon Cross & Danni Anderson v. Jenn Drew & Bellamy Parteabon
Danni and Damon early on couldn’t seem to make heads or tails at anything Jenn and Bellamy were doing. The two of them had clearly jelled now and they were just out there having a ball, dancing around, keeping Danni and Damon off balance with unorthodox moves and teamwork. Eventually though, Damon was able to nail Jenn with a lariat that turned her inside out and he was able to take over in the match. Him and Danni would keep Jenn isolated through a lot of the latter half of this match, but Damon would go for a corkscrew moonsault, but Bellamy would hit the ropes and cause Damon to lose balance and Jenn would take him, rolling him up and prop her feet on the middle rope as the ref counted to three.
Winners: Jenn Drew and Bellamy Parteabon
Prelim Tag Match #4.
Thick Girls Club v. Layla Diaz & Jed Coffey
You could cut the tension in the ring with a knife as Jansen just stared daggers right into Layla and you could tell she was ready to get her hands on the young woman. As soon as the bell rang, Jansen charged right at Layla who immediately tagged Jed into the match and the crowd began to boo a little bit. Jansen didn’t care though as she was still full of emotion and fire and she took it out on Jed. Her and Theresa controlled a good portion of the early part of the match, keeping Jed in their half of the ring, but Theresa would go for a running senton and Jed was able to roll out of the way and make the tag to Layla. Layla came in and she immediately began to taunt Jansen who tried to get into the ring, but the ref held her back and Layla and Jed began stomping away at Theresa. Theresa though was able to make the tag as Layla went for a satellite DDT and Thresa pushed her off and dove to Jansen. Jansen came in and she just went to town on Layla and didn’t let up as she delivered a forearm to Jed, knocking him off the apron before hitting Layla with the Mhyrr-driver and hooking the leg to pick up the win.
Winners: Thick Girls Club
Prelim Tag Match #5.
Runa Olsen & River Chance v. The Queen's Guard
Lluvia and Moe came out and they were ready to just make quick work of this match and keep River as a non factor in this match. They kept Runa isolated during this match and they didn’t even let her come close to making a tag. They made quick tags in and out and pulled out impressive double team moves before finally delivering Neon Genesis: Evangelion and picking up the win.
Winner: The Queen’s Guard
Debby Haze v. Remi Fontaine
Remi and Debby both have been having a tough go of things so far in this tournament, both coming in without a win, but that didn’t stop either of them from going out there and giving it absolutely everything they had for the fans in attendance. The two of them went all out, giving the performance of a lifetime all to try and get that first win here tonight. Remi would eventually deliver a slingshot DDT on Debby before hitting her with Big Bang Attack! He’d quickly hook the leg, but Debby found a way to kick out at just the last minute. Remi though had determination in his eyes as he climbed up to the top rope. He leaped off and went for #GetWrecked, but Debby got her knees up at the last second, driving them right into the ribs of Remi. Debby managed to get to her feet and she climbed to the top rope and delivered Saturday Night Fever and she hooked the leg and got the victory over Remi.
Angel Kash v. Anton Crowley
Angel tried to attack Anton from behind before the bell could even ring, but Anton had it scouted as he just turned around and delivered a discus forearm to the side of Angel’s head as the bell sounded. From there, this match was practically all Anton. He was a man on a mission here, and you could tell by the expression on his face that he wasn’t here to play around tonight. At every turn, when Angel tried to use some sort of dirty tactic to gain an advantage, Anton had an answer for it. Eventually, Anton would start to work over the arm of Angel with a wicked grin on his face the entire time. Anton finally decided to stop playing around and he grabbed Angel by the arm and locked in In ostium inferos and almost immediately, Angel tapped out, but Anton held onto the submission for just a little bit longer, wrenching back hard on the arm of Angel, trying to cause damage before releasing it and rolling out of the ring.
Winner: Anton Crowley
Sela Rica-Lark v. Morgan Payne
Sela and Morgan stared each other down as the bell sounded and they both had a wicked and sadistic grin on their faces as they circled around each other. The two them didn’t waste much time though as they met in the center of the ring and they exchanged punches and chops with one another. Neither one was backing down and Sela realized that as she went for the eyes and raked them, stunning Morgan to give Sela the opening she needed. Sela took over the match from there, just going right after Morgan. She delivered a snap DDT and then took Morgan and locked in a rolling knee bar. Morgan though was able to crawl to the ropes and force the break. Sela picked Morgan up and she’d go for an enziguri, but Morgan ducked the kick and she delivered a dragon screw on the leg of Sela and taking over. Morgan would use her striking and mat skills to keep Sela off guard. She’d lock in a rear naked choke, but Sela was able to roll up and pin Morgan’s shoulders onto the mat for a two count. Sela would go to try and send Morgan into the ropes, but Morgan grabbed her and just delivered a headbutt before delivering a spinning elbow shot to Sela. She’d then hit the ropes and go to hit Foot to the Throat, but Sela was able to avoid it and she’d dump Morgan to the outside. Sela would follow out behind her and the two would begin to brawl on the outside. They weren’t paying attention to the count of the ref though as he reached the count of twenty and was forced to call for the bell on the two of them.
Result: Double countout
Maki v. Minoru Tanahashi
Maki and Minoru both came out, both looking to solidify their position in the standings with a win here tonight. The two of them battled it out, going toe to toe with one another. The two them went back and forth, the crowd loving every moment of it. Maki would have the advantage for a bit though as she took over, delivering a DDT to Minoru. She’d then deliver a senton splash before hitting a leg drop. She’d pick Minoru up and go for a Maki-house kick, but Minoru was able to avoid it. Minoru would deliver a stiff kick to the leg of Maki and taking over the match. He’d take Maki and deliver a dragon suplex before following up with a Akihabara Dreams before picking Maki up and finally delivering a Black Lion Bomb and stacking Maki up and getting the win.
Winner: Minoru Tanahashi
Cass Baumer v. Emevlas Stastias
Much like her match last Friday, Emevlas walked out to the ramp and gave the crowd a not so PG gesture before taking the chair she walked out with and set it up on the ramp and sat down. She yelled for the ref to ring the bell and count her out which they promptly did as Cass just shook her head in disbelief and she was announced the winner.
