NFW Aftershock #3! Chicago, Illinois! 07/18/2020!

A highlight reel to Collision #82 rolls to Aftershock's intro theme, recapping the most talked about moments. This intercuts with images of an already ruined city being shook by a second tremor that splits the very ground all over. The camera opens up inside the production room of NFW’s Collision Center where we are greeted by Aftershock host, Jason Hardwick. He stands in front of the large video screen.

Jason Hardwick: Hello and welcome everyone! I’m Jason Hardwick and this is NFW Aftershock. Our new weekend exclusive of bonus footage for our Collision and Trauma broadcasts. This is where you’ll find exclusive backstage activity from the men and women of the New Frontier. For tonight’s matches, we’ll see The Adorkable Angel, Azurine Vebbins go toe to toe with Morgan Malice, and Cherry Addams, The Walking Contradiction will face The UltraViolent God, Eric Lee. We’ll also hear from Christina Olson of The Kingdom. Things are already shaken up! It's time for an Aftershock!
Azurine and Morgan start off by locking up and immediately, Morgan gets the early advantage as she takes Azurine over with a snapmare before she begins working over the arms and shoulders of Azurine. She delivers a series of shoulder breakers before delivering a snap suplex and going for a cover, only to get a two count. Morgan then eventually puts Azurine into a Boston Crab and sits back deep. Azurine fights though, ,refusing to give up as she eventually finds her way to the ropes and force a break. Morgan continues her assault though as she delivers a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before locking in a camel clutch to Azurine who once again, is forced to figure a way out of the hold and keep herself alive in the match. Morgan once again picks Azurine up and this time, when she looks to deliver Stay in Wonderland, Azurine slides down the back of Morgan and when she turns around, Azurine delivers an open palm strike right under the chin that dazes Morgan.

From there, Azurine took over in the match as she grabbed Morgan and delivered a release German suplex before she picked Morgan up to her shoulders and delivered an airplane spin and she followed with a jumping clothesline that took Morgan off her feet. Azurine continued though as she picked Morgan back up and this time, she delivered a Northern Lights Suplex and bridged up for a pin, only for her to get a two count. Azurine continued to fight though as she climbed to the top rope and when Morgan got to her feet, she came flying off the top rope and hitting a double axe handle that once again dazed Morgan and this gave Azurine the opening she needed to be able to deliver Pearly Gatekeeper and pick up the victory.

The camera opens up in the hallway at the Collision Center where we see Christina Olson walking quite gingerly as she has a look of pain on her face. She sighs as she looks and sees Josh Davidson approaching her and he has a confused look on his face seeing just how gingerly Christina was walking around backstage.

Josh Davidson: Christina, can I get a moment?

Christina Olson: The fuck you want? Can’t you see I’m hurtin a little bit right now?

Josh looks at her as Christina just has a scowl on her face as she looks right back.

Josh Davidson: What happened?

Christina Olson: The hell does it matter? I’m a little sore right now from a workout I had earlier, alright?

Josh Davidson: Well, alright then… So, recently your friend and tag team partner Lilith Meadows has been acting out of character, especially Tuesday on Collision when she prolonged a match that she easily had won. What are you thoughts on all of this?

Christina looks at Josh and rubs her temples as she lets out a long, drawn out sigh before deciding to answer.

Christina Olson: Look, I dunno what the f*** is goin on with Lily right now. I just know that whatever it is, it ain’t her and I need my friend and partner back. As for what happened on Tuesday, I saw it, didn’t like it, but not much I can do about though is there?

Josh Davidson: Speaking of which, on Tuesday, Maiko said she was going to help The Kingdom get Lilith back. What did she mean by that?

Christina Olson: Look, do you think I talk crazy chick? All I know is that she said she knew how to bring Lil back and I somehow gotta trust this chick who tried to destroy Jasmine not that long ago. I don’t like it, I ain’t gonna lie and say I do, but I gotta trust it because there ain’t much I can do for her right now.

Josh Davidson: What if whatever Maiko says she’s going to do doesn’t work though and you don’t get Lilith back? What’s next?

Christina now gets a look of pure anger in her eyes as she just stares at Josh before we see a couple of tears roll down her cheek.

Christina Olson: Look, that ain’t somethin I’m gonna think about. A world without Lily is like a world that’s in constant darkness and I don’t need that shit. If she don’t follow through with her promise, you best believe I’m comin after her for causin this in the first place. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got other shit I need to do.

Christina pushes past Josh and continues her slow, deliberate, and ginger walk down the hallway as the camera fades out.

From the moment the bell rang, Eric Lee was all wicked smiles and predatory motions as he circled the ring with Cherry Addams. Once the two finally locked up, Lee went right for a Clutch, throwing knees up into Cherry’s ribs as he backed her into the corner. Cherry knew how to take the punishment, however and managed to push her way out of it and turned things around, pressing Lee back into the corner and started dishing out the forearms. Lee answered back in a brutal fashion, catching Cherry by the face, digging at her eyes with his thumbs and powering out towards the center of the ring. Lee broke at the count of 4 and stepped back as Cherry rubbed at her eyes. While the referee was checking on her, Lee ran in and hit a chop block at the back of Cherry’s knee, dropping her to the mat. Lee took on a mount and started raining down elbows before Cherry grabbed a hold of the rope, forcing a break.

Cherry pulled herself up to her feet while the referee forced Lee to give space and when Lee came back in, he went right back for his opponent, feeding a couple of elbows to her before whipping her back into the ropes. He went for a Sok Chieng but Cherry ducked under the elbow and hit the ropes again, coming back with a flying spinning heel kick, taking Lee to the mat. Lee was back to his feet but Cherry was there, starting to lay in with the kicks to the thighs, following with a thrusting side kick and came off the ropes with a running elbow. Cherry stayed on the offense, unleashing Endless Torture, dropping several elbows down on her opponent but only for a near fall. Cherry backed away from Lee, allowing the man to start pulling himself up in the corner; the Walking Contradiction clearly setting up for Lamb To Slaughter. When she charged in for the kill, Lee exploded out of the corner with a Sok Tong that stopped Cherry right in her tracks. Lee was quick to grab Cherry up to her feet and lift her into the setup for Whispers In The Dark when all of a sudden the lights went out.

Nick Hanson: Hey whoa, what the…?

Matt Salvatore: Isn’t this usually Eric Lee’s gig? He’s in the ring, already, why the…?

The lights came back on, revealing Cherry Addams had been set down by Eric Lee who still looked unreadable in his expression. To say confused wouldn’t be correct. Curious more like it as he looked all around the ringside area. It wasn’t until he had his attention on the ramp that the crowd began to stir with excitement as MORGAN PAYNE came hopping the fan barricade and hit the ring behind Eric Lee, wielding a set of brass knuckles on one hand. She didn’t waste a second as she pounced on Lee from behind, striking him with a forearm across the head and bringing him down. Morgan was on Lee like a cat as he rolled over onto his back and started raining down elbows and punches with that brass covered fist.

Nick Hanson: Morgan Payne came out of nowhere!! Now she’s going to town on Eric Lee who's been causing her a good bit of trouble, lately!

Matt Salvatore: Looks like she came to get even, Nick!

Nick Hanson: I think it’ll take more than this, considering!

At this point, Eric Lee and Morgan Payne had fallen into a full on brawl outside of the ring as security hit the ring and fought to pry them apart. The camera switched back and forth on an enraged Morgan, pulling to get away from security, yelling obscenities at Eric Lee. Meanwhile, it was Eric Lee, shaking off security as Charlie Grace joined him on the ramp as he took his leave; a bloodied, insane grin of satisfaction playing on his face as the credits roll for the episode.
