The show opens in silence as an image of Vlad Blackheart, a beaming smile on his face and Lara Blackheart on the screen; depicting the man lifting his daughter onto his shoulders as part of the celebration in winning her debut match. Beneath it, the text reads:
~In Loving Memory Of Vlad Blackheart~
~Jan. 14, 1975 - May 5, 2016~
After the image fades away, the sound of Saliva's "Ladies And Gentlemen" is heard as the tournament logo explodes onto the screen and we hear the announcer's thunderous voice list the A Block competitors.
As the camera cuts to the ringside area, showing the amped up crowd, and panning around the interior of Madison Square Garden, Nick Hanson and James Reynolds welcome those in attendance, in addition to those watching via NFW's streaming network.
HANSON
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Madison Square Garden!"
REYNOLDS
"I am PUMPED, Nicky! We're in the grandest arena of New York state and we're not even at the end of this tournament!"
HANSON
"We're certainly not, Jim! We've got two days left, where we will then find out who's headed to Chicago, Illinois, next week for the finals!"
REYNOLDS
"All well and good, Nicky, but let's not get ahead of ourselves!"

REYNOLDS
"All well and good, Nicky, but let's not get ahead of ourselves!"
HANSON
"Absolutely not, Jim. We've still got some exciting matches to get through. Hell, we can't even be sure who's going to the finals yet. There's still room for upsets and for people to make last minute come backs, and there's only one match left for each competitor! But first, without further adue, let's kick the show off with some exciting tag team matches!"
As Nick Hanson says this, the opening riff of Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" erupts throughout the arena. The lighting around the entrance ramp turns to a flickering of multiple colors like something out of a concert show while smoke billows around the curtain. As Erin Mercer runs out through the smoke, throwing the horns to the crowd and head banging in rhythm to the song's riff, Vincent Stone appears right behind her, throwing his arms up at the crowd, calling for them to get louder. Both tag team partners are wearing matching new t-shirts that say "COME GET YOUR KICKS" as they regroup at the center of the stage, and give a high five that transitions into a fist bump before making their way down the ramp.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the opening tag match of the evening, Kicks And Stones defeated the Renegades, by pinfall in 16:11, when Vincent Stone countered a superplex from Julian Morrison with a top rope brainbuster and hooked the leg.
ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!
Stone immediately released Morrison's leg and fell back to catch his breath.
HANSON
"And chalk up another win for the Mixed Tag Team champions!"
REYNOLDS
"Not a bad warmup before their title defense next week!"
HANSON
"Yeah, but let's be honest, their challengers -- *Nick laughs* -- they're on a whole different level."
Helping Stone to his feet, Erin Mercer handed him his half of their championship and the shot focused on the two, standing in the center of the ring, holding the white and gold straps up high.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the second match of the show, the Bullet Club O.Gs defeated the team of Connor K, AKI and the McKeesport Mafia, by pinfall in 12:09, when Tama Tonga hit Andrew Payne with a Gun Stun after ducking under an attempt at the Faded Line.
HANSON
"Here comes the Faded Li-- No! Tama ducks!"

REYNOLDS
"GUN STUN!!!! DOWN GOES THE PUNISHER!"
ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!
After an outside brawl was broken up and the rest of Payne's team helped him out of the ring while the O.Gs taunted them from inside. Notably, Tanga Loa stood on the ropes, throwing them the middle finger.
"TAKE YO BROKE ASSES THE FUCK ON OUTTA HERE!!"
HANSON
"My god, do any of those guys know what tact is?"
REYNOLDS
"Don't know, Nicky. You wanna go ask them?"
HANSON
"Uhh...I'd rather not."
As "Shot 'Em" continued to boom throughout the arena, Tama, Tanga, Ishimori and Fale all met in the center of the ring for their new variation of the 'too sweet' before exiting the ring and heading up the ramp. Passing by the camera man on stage, Tanga Loa stepped up to the lens and threw up the two sweet gesture again.
"That's how we do, baby! Real fuckin' Bullet Club! And if you ain't us?! We got two words for ya!" Tanga opened his mouth like he was about to say something else, but instead turned his attention over to Bad Luck Fale who hovered over the camera and leaned in slowly.
"FUCK 'EM!!" Fale shouted right into the camera, before palming the lens and knocking the camera man off of his feet.
HANSON
"Stay classy, boys. Stay classy...."
REYNOLDS
"That was kinda funny, Nicky. C'mon."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The final preliminary match ended in 19:48 with the Great White North defeating the Dominion of Pain by submission when Scott Leroux locked the Crimson Sabre into the anklelock, putting extra torque on the leg until Sabre tapped out.
HANSON
"He's tapping! Crimson Sabre's tapping!"
As "Hail To The King" by Avenge Sevenfold played through the arena, the referee was quick to get in between both teams when it looked like an altercation was about to break out. While most of the members backed off, William Mannheim pie faced the referee out of the way, allowing him and Judas Lasher to get right up in each other's face, granted Mannheim technically loomed over Judas. The crowd erupted into an excited pop as the two men stared at each other with murder in their eyes.
REYNOLDS
"Ohhhhhh man, Nicky. You realize what tomorrow is, right?!
HANSON
"Oh, I do, Jim. Last day of B Block...and it'll be the first time those two men have competed against each other in a singles match in over thirteen years!"
REYNOLDS
"And they have one of, if not THE most violent rivalry of this promotion!"
HANSON
"And you can't imagine Judas Lasher is too happy with William Mannheim's tweet the other day. He basically presumed that Judas will not be the one to win B Block. He said 'hey, Kenny Omega's won this block so how about you show me if you've still got it?'"
REYNOLDS
"And you know what scares me about that, the most? Lasher hasn't responded. It's almost like he plans on letting his actions speak for him when the time comes!"
Finally, the two rivals backed off at the same time, going their separate ways and rejoining their stables, exiting the ring.

[10/18/2018 - DAY 16 - B BLOCK]
Slowly emerging through the backstage curtain, "The Punisher" Andrew Payne comes to stand in front of the backdrop. Venom Inc's "Ave Satanas" can be heard blaring out in the arena as the camera gets a close up of a cut on his lip and one eye that's already beginning to sport a shiner.
"You see that shit?" Andrew says with an amused, tired smirk. "Psycho motherfucker tried to break my goddamn neck." He spits blood off to the side before bringing the ice pack up to the back of his neck again. "I see why they call him the King of Pain now." He nods a little. "His shit definitely hurts. But you know something?" Andrew looks up at the reporters, nodding. "I'll fight that motherfucker again, anytime he wants to go. Dude knows how to bring it. So God willing? I wanna do this again after I've had time to let my bones and muscles recover some. I'm not gonna lie: this tournament is taking it's fucking toll on me. I'm putting everything out there each match but I haven't been one hundred percent, honestly, since halfway through this tournament. I guess age does that to ya. So yeah...I've got one more match left...I think D and I are booked for a match in Chicago...then I need some time off to piece myself together. At the very least, I'm doing what I promised and finishing this year out and making sure my daughter has her foothold in this company. Before I hang up the boots, though, like I said...I'm going out with a fucking bang...."
Pressing the ice pack to his neck again, Andrew Payne slowly raises the deuces to the reporters as he walks off down the hallway....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Returning to ringside, the camera hones in on the ring itself as a turnbuckle pad is tied back onto the post and the barriers are adjusted back accordingly. As expected, in this point of the show, we hear Nick Hanson and James Reynolds beginnig to set up for the scheduled block matches.
REYNOLDS
"You know, it's almost bitter sweet, Nicky."
HANSON
"What's that, Jim?"
REYNOLDS
"We've been enjoying these matches so much over the past several weeks, and here we are at the last day for A Block. But, at the same time, we'll know who's going to the finals."
HANSON
"I have to agree with you. This has been an exciting tournament, but hey it doesn't mean the action's over. This is where the real journey starts. New challengers! New opportunities! We've got new rightful contenders for championships! We may end up seeing new champions come out of all this!"
REYNOLDS
"We very well may, Nicky. So, let's have you do your thing and tell us who has a chance in hell of still winning this block."
HANSON
"Well, here's how it breaks down for A Block, Jim. Buzzsaw, once again, has the lead with thirteen points. Chris Wolfe is right there behind him with twelve. Max LeBrun and Nico Salvatore are tied at eleven points -- but remember, they have their match today. Rick Dickulous and Kota Ibushi are also tied at ten -- Rick wins over him with the tiebreaker. Shelton Benjamin and Zack Sabre Jr both have four points, Matt Klazzic has three and Kane has two. Technically? Buzzsaw may very well have A Block in the bag. He doesn't even need to win his match tonight, to win. All he needs is for Chris Wolfe to lose his match against Shelton Benjamin, tonight. Is Chris Wolfe loses, Buzzsaw wins A Block; but Chris Wolfe NEEDS to lose, for that to happen. If Wolfe so much as goes to a draw against Benjamin, then Buzzsaw will need a win against Kota Ibushi to put him at fifteen points. Otherwise, if Chris Wolfe, who beat Buzzsaw in their match, will win A Block if he ends up so much as tieing Buzzsaw in points."
REYNOLDS
"Nicky, that is a TENSE situation, both men are in."
HANSON
"Exactly, right. But Buzzsaw can lose tonight and still win A Block, like we just established. He doesn't even need to worry about who wins between Nico Salvatore and Max LeBrun. He's beaten Nico---"
REYNOLDS
"But he and Max only went to a draw, so what if Max and Buzzsaw were to tie in the lead with points?
HANSON
"Umm...ooh...you know? I have no idea, Jim."
REYNOLDS
"Well, let's see what Buzzsaw's gonna have to do to stay in the lead, because the current runner up, Chris Wolfe, is in today's first block match, against Shelton Benjamin! Let's take it to ringside!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris Wolfe defeated Shelton Benjamin in their block match, by pinfall in 14:54, after hitting the DireWolfe.
Therapy & Fatal's "Come And Die" played throughout the arena as the crowd was on their feet, cheering Wolfe on in his victory. "Big Bad Wolfe" chants sounded throughout the arena.
HANSON
"Well, in all technicality, Jim, Chris Wolfe just took the lead again for A Block with fourteen points!"
REYNOLDS
"I know someone in the back who probably isn't too happy!"
HANSON
"No kidding! You've gotta believe that Buzzsaw has to feel at least some pressure now. He's got a hell of an opponent lying ahead of him, tonight, and he MUST win in order to walk out of the Garden as the winner of A Block!"
REYNOLDS
"I don't doubt it, Nicky, but hey right now; haha, man let's talk about this next match up."
HANSON
"Oh man...it's gonna be ugly, Jim. I have no doubt. It's the final block match for both men. This match we just saw, ensured that both of them are eliminated from the finals, but that doesn't matter. Nico Salvatore and the NFW Heavyweight Champion, Max LeBrun; these guys HATE each other! Hell, I'm not sure Max LeBrun likes anybody outside of the Renegades, but it's painfully obvious that Nico Salvatore holds a grudge -- a personal grievance -- against Max LeBrun. Heinous remarks were said about his family in that interview between the two before their highly anticipated Number 1 Contender's match; about his sister, about his deceased mother. Horrible remarks, from the mouth of our champion! You have to believe, he's looking to dish out a little payback here."
REYNOLDS
"Oh, I do believe it and if you can hear that siren, he's looking to dish it out very shortly!"
As James Reynolds speaks, the opening siren sound for I Prevail's "Come And Get It" fills the arena, signaling the arrival of Nico Salvatore.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nico Salvatore and Max LeBrun locked up, immediately after the bell, and engaged in a lengthy war that lasted 18:11 and was even more intense than their first meeting. Passed the fifteen minute mark, Max slipped off of Nico's shoulders during an attempt at the GFY. Nico spun around.
REYNOLDS
"Nico better watch out! Here comes the Slapsh--NO!!"
But Nico caught Max's foot and used it to whip him around, off balance. As he came back around, Nico hit him with a thrust kick in the midsection before dashing away and coming back off the ropes.
HANSON
"He caught the champ's foot! Now he's got something of his own! We know what's coming!"
Nico leaped off of the mat, lifting his knee up to strike---
*POP!*
Max LeBrun stopped him in his tracks, by throwing his foot up again, causing Nico to come flying right into a successful Slapshot attempt.
REYNOLDS
"WHOOOAAAAAAA!!!!!! KICK TO THE FACE!!!! NICO'S DOWN!!!"
HANSON
"IT'S OVER! THERE'S THE COVER!!"
ONE!!
TWO!!
THR--
HANSON
"NOOOO WAAAAAAY!!!!!!"
REYNOLDS
"HOW DID HE KICK OUT?!?!"
The camera zoomed in quickly to catch a closeup of the glazed eyes of Nico Salvatore as he rolled onto his side, heaving with each breath. Nearby, Max LeBrun held his hands to his head, looking at Nico in disbelief before getting a look of pure rage on his face as he climbed to his feet and stood over Nico's head, braced between his legs, hooking the arms.
REYNOLDS
"This is gonna do it, right here, Nicky. Nico can't kick out of this."
HANSON
"You're probably right, Jim!"
Max moved to hoist Nico up, but he sagged his bodyweight, managing to prevent the lift for the Aneurysm and pulled his arms free. He slipped his head out, coming up to meet Max--
*POP!*
--And caught him with an elbow right in the jaw! Max staggered backwards. Nico lifted his hands up, throwing him the double bird.
HANSON
"THE URBAN GLADIATOR IS STILL ALIVE IN THIS MATCH!!"
Nick Hanson shouted as Nico came off the ropes again--
REYNOLDS
"Here it comes, Nicky!"
We hear an audible "FUCK YOU" from Nico as he leaps off of his feet and connects his knee into Max's face with a sickening SMACK!
CROWD
"Ohhhhhh!!!!!"
HANSON
"Listen to that impact, Jim!"
REYNOLDS
"I hear it, Nicky! But Nico's not done!"
With Max collapsing against the ropes and leaning against the middle and bottom, Nico ran off the ropes again, charging the champ until he was about five feet away before leaping towards him with his knee out.
*POP!*
CROWD
"OHHHHHHH!!!!"
HANSON
"ANOTHER KNEE!!!! MY GOD!!!!"
Immediately after, Nico pulled Max to the center of the ring and lifted the dazed man up across his shoulders. The crowd shouted the words with him.
"GO...FUCK...YOURSELF!!!"
*SMACK!!*
REYNOLDS
"GFY, NICKY!!!!!! THERE IT IS!!!!! COVER!!!"
ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!
REYNOLDS
"WOOOOOOOW!!!!"
HANSON
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT, JIM!!! NICO SALVATORE IS THE THIRD MAN IN THIS TOURNAMENT TO PIN THE CHAMPION!!!"
REYNOLDS
"He said he was gonna do it, Nicky! He said it back at the press conference before Day 1!! He said he was gonna pin Max LeBrun!! He said he was gonna earn a shot at that title *before* WrestleWar, and you better believe he's gonna go for it!!"
As Nico Salvatore celebrated in the ring, Max LeBrun snatched the championship from the referee and put a quick distance between himself and the ring, backing towards the exit as he looked at Nico in disbelief. Inside the ring, Nico pointed towards him, yelling inaudibly under his music.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[10/18/2018 - DAY 16 - B BLOCK]
"Devil's Sky" is heard from the arena as Kenny Omega emerges through the curtain, dousing water over his head as he comes to stand in front of the backdrop and camera. Turning his attention to the reporters, Kenny cracks a grin and motions out towards the ring. "And just as I said...the best...triumphs...over evil!" He sips from his water. "I told it like it is and I followed through, and now? We're in the home stretch, people! There's only one more match to go! One!" He holds up an index finger, narrowing his eyes at the interviewers. "One...." He whispers, before returning his voice to normal. "There's only two obstacles that stand in my way. Of course, that's my last opponent, Big Daddy Payne -- love the name, by the way -- and Judas Lasher, whom I've already beaten. Even if Judas manages to win his last match, he's already lost because he needs me to lose, and I -- don't -- LOSE!!" He thumbs to himself.
"I'm Kenny Omega. I'm the Best Bout Machine. I am THE greatest wrestler in the WORLD! And I have proven that time and time again." Dropping his thumb, Kenny sips from his water again. "And that's not arrogance. That's confidence. I'm confident in my ability. I'm confident of what I can achieve. My track record speaks for itself. Hell, I beat one of this promotion's greatest stars! A man people fear! They're scared of the guy! I can see why, but I proved back in our match: Judas? You don't scare me. And believe me, I understand what this tournament means to you. It's personal. However, I was invited here to participate and I didn't come all the way here to lose. My last opponent, is another legend of this company. I've beaten...." He lifts his fingers and does a quick count. "...Three, so far. I've faced three big names of New Frontier Wrestling. All great wrestlers! Fantastic athletes! I've beaten them all, and I fully intend to carry that onto the last day of the tournament, when I face Big Daddy Payne. I have fourteen points, as we speak. I'm going to Madison Square Garden next, beating Big Daddy Payne, and turning that into sixteen. It won't be a perfect record -- thanks for that Curry Man, you lovable dick -- but it'll be all I need to get it done and after that? I'll see you in Chicago where I walk out of there with a trophy and a contract. I've done it before...and I can do it again. Think on that, people. Goodbye..." He kisses his index finger. "And goodnight...." Shooting the gun at the camera, Kenny mouths a 'bang' before making his way off towards the locker rooms.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matt Klazzic defeated Kane in their block match, by submission in 14:09, with the Stranglehold Gamma.
HANSON
"KANE'S OUT!! KANE'S OUT!!"
REYNOLDS
"HOOOOLY CRAP, NICKY!!"
HANSON
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! MATT KLAZZIC CHOKES OUT KANE IN HIS FINAL BLOCK MATCH!!! HE'S WALKING OUT OF THIS TOURNAMENT WITH FIVE POINTS AND BOY ARE THEY WELL EARNED!!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zack Sabre Jr defeated Rick Dickulous in their block match, by submission in 17:43, with the Orienteering With Napalm Death.
HANSON
"An impressive victory, by Zack Sabre Jr!"
REYNOLDS
"And can we say another possible challenger for the Silver Mountain Championship?!"
HANSON
"He does have a couple others who would probably love to cash in their shot! We'll have to see who takes it first!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the main event of the show, Buzzsaw and Kota Ibushi wrestled to an incredible 20:00 draw.
REYNOLDS
"ANOTHER DRAW, NICKY!!!"
HANSON
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, JIM?!"
REYNOLDS
"A BLOCK -- IS -- OVER, NICKY!! AND ROGER ARDEN IS ABOUT TO MAKE THE ANNOUNCEMENT!!"
Standing in the center of the ring, ring announcer Roger Arden raised the mic up to his mouth.
ARDEN
"Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes A Block for the Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournament! Without further adue, it is hereby declared...your A Block winner...with a total of seven wins and fourteen points...BIG...BAD...CHRIIIIIIIS WOOOOOOOOOLFE!!!!"
The crowd went absolutely wild as the camera panned across the arena, capturing the excitement of the audience.
HANSON
"Listen to this crowd, Jim!"
REYNOLDS
"You gotta believe Chris Wolfe is in the back, absolutely ecstatic!!"
HANSON
"I believe it wholeheartedly! He said he was gonna prove himself and by god, did he do so! But the journey's not over, Jim! Tomorrow, we're gonna find out who his opponent will be in Chicago, Illinois! Until then, I'm Nick Hanson, here with James Reynolds! So long, everyone!"
ONE!!
TWO!!
HANSON
