Biography:Melissa was born in the south of London, UK. She was brought up by her English father and South Korean mother.
From a young age she was a tomboy, who loved to play fight with her friends and siblings, go biking, and play soccer.
The family weren't rich and lived in a neighbourhood which had the rich on one side and on the other side of the street were the poor families.
She had to defend herself on a constant basis as grew into a teenager.
This went to the extreme when she was 13 she was attacked and a group of boys tried to assault her, she fought valiantly but the numbers were too many.
A former wrestler named Andros Black came to her rescue as he lived a few streets over ( this isn't karate kid btw) and pulled her away from the gang, took her home and met her parents.
Melissa wanted them to let him help, which he did three nights a week after school. He trained her hard, and as she grew into quite the sarcastic young woman, she learnt every aspect of not just wrestling but MMA as well.
At 16 she had a try-out with the BCWF out of Clapham, London. Within six months she was fighting for their sirens title. Unfortunately, she lost and was furious, she annihilated the entire entrance way in her fury. Luckily for her a federation named as CWF had a show and a scout in attendance. She was then signed to a developmental deal. She grew there into a formidable opponent. She then met a man called The Wildfire from the main roster. She was called up as his sideckick, they began dating but she got bored being his valet. She dumped him and moved on.
From there she had a few matches which were good but not great, she went on to defeat a few of the CWF "Legends" and cemented herself as a leader of the new generation and was named NextGen Maki. She faced off against a women three times her size and defeated her to become CWF Women's champion. She faced off again against different "Legends" as well as against people from other federations, she finally lost the title to her former best friend. Then one night after a defeat, she seem to change from her sarcastic self to become much more violent, much more sadistic. It became evident she wasn't just the fun loving, humorous,gorgeous Maki anymore, but her personality had been split. The other personality is called Daniela. She has claimed this Daniela is a demoness, and in times of trouble, she will come out. A curious development happened in the ring, her white Korean death paint, only came out when she was the Demoness. This lead her to different possibilities. Since then she has tried to expand her brand and feels WWH is the perfect place along with CWF for her to evolve and a new place for Daniela to call home. She has also taken it apon herself to turn round the negatives about CWF. She made WWH her home and won the women’s championship and held it for seven months, she then won two other titles and her most recent one was the Demolition championship.
She left and found a home in After Dark and now wants to expand to New Frontier where her wife Angel Kusanagi has made a name for herself.
