With a corporate edge highlighted by her collection of NFW ladder match briefcases, Cass is driven by one simple goal: immortalizing the name 'Baumer' throughout all of wrestling. For Cass, winning and losing truly matter less than the attention she garners. This ethos tends to rub others the wrong way, and she loves that!

Entrance Theme:
Entrance Description:
As the brash beat of “Industry Baby” by Gill The iLL featuring JVZEL blasts through the arena's sound system, the wave of boos from the audience almost makes the music inaudible! A green spotlight beams down at the entryway, and as the camera descends, it gradually reveals Cass Baumer. Dancing with swagger, the controversial brawler grooves down the aisle in her black windbreaker jacket over her ring gear. As she approaches the center of the clearing, she spins and steps backward. Spreading her arms wide, Baumer flaunts the "Scourge of the Earth" embroidered patch Velcroed to the back of her coat.
The pop rap anthem plays on as Baumer forms a triumphant smirk on her lips. She turns her head to the side, casting a playful glance at the camera, then leisurely twirls to face front when she nears the apron. Stopping at the steel steps, she takes a moment to survey the crowd, savoring their negative reactions. She gestures with her arms, urging them to get louder, and the crowd obliges with a louder roar. Sliding into the ring, the crescendo of hatred from the crowd only fuels her arrogance. With grace, she rises, ascends the ropes, and raises her fist triumphantly. Letting out a guttural shout, she dismounts and heads to her corner.

WRESTLING INFO
In-Ring Strengths:
- SWEET SCIENCE — With an emphasis on instinctive technique over strength, the former reporter has become a resourceful boxer with judo and Krav Maga elements. She zones out her opponents with long-range strikes, uses fast kickboxing-style defensive footwork, then retaliates with a quick flurry of offense before her opponent can recover. Feint attacks and body blows are particular specialties as well.
- JOURNALISTIC EYE - She's perceptive enough to read her opponents' tells to discern details others might miss during a match because of her journalistic background. For example, she can counterattack when her opponent is open once she pressures them into a mistake, recognizes tendencies, and/or target injuries. Cass would be far less capable if it wasn't for her improvisational tactics.
- HUMAN PUNCHING BAG - While Baumer is naturally good at taking a punch, she's vastly improved her endurance, stamina, and pain threshold through training. The goal is to outlast her opponents until she feels like she can finish the bout, even if it takes risks like jumping off high places to get it done.
- DIRTY FIGHTER - One of the most well-known tenants of Krav Maga is its emphasis on attacking vulnerable body parts such as the eyes, throat, groin, feet, fingers, etc. Typically, this is done in situations where she's already in a disadvantageous position.
- HARDCORE — As a deathmatch wrestler, this Kiwi knows just how to dish out damage with all sorts of foreign objects. This isn't limited to melee weapons, either. She's often using improvised weapons she builds herself out of typical household materials. Two examples are an aerosol flamethrower made from a match and hairspray or a Millwall brick made from a local newspaper.
- BARE NECESSITIES - While Cass might be able to outfight her opponent from a standing position, she typically won't be able to outwrestle them unless she has the right strategy. She's much more comfortable on her feet than lifted into a powerbomb.
- RISK TAKER - Her stubbornness might hurt her in the process. This means she's prone to self-injury, taking ridiculous risks regardless of whether or not it's worth it. This includes opting to use exotic weapons with the possibility that the same weapon could be used against her.
- DESPERATE - In intense matches with high stakes, Cass could become increasingly desperate in the closing moments of the bout. This could cause her to fight much more sloppily than she usually would, albeit hitting harder as a consequence. She's not as observant in this state, her strategy is mostly forgotten, and she doesn't play to the crowd like she usually would, either.
- ATTENTION SEEKING - While Cass feeds on the audience's energy, this showmanship could be taken advantage of by an opponent who catches her from behind while she's got her mind on the adulation she's receiving from the fans.
- VULNERABLE WRIST - Cass suffered from a hairline distal radius fracture in her left wrist at the tail end of 2017, which needed internal fixation surgery to repair. The plate has since been removed, but smart adversaries might gain an advantage by targeting this body part.
Wrestling Style:
Ultraviolent Old-School Boxer Brawler
Wrestling Attire:
The kiwi dons a scoop neck sports bra with a stylized number eight on the back center, complete with her surname curved above it. She's got above the knee shorts with a drawstring around the waist and the stylized number eight stitched on the front of her right leg. Stockings covering shin pads reach right below the knee. Her hands are wrapped in athletic tape, while her cushioned running shoes are wrapped, too. Her waist is wrapped in a black belt with a shiny metallic belt buckle. Overall, the aesthetic of the attire is that of a soccer uniform meets typical wrestling gear.On her way to the ring, Cass wears a windbreaker made from nylon. It features an attachable hood, convenient pockets, glossy accents, and a Velcro embroidered patch on the back for customization.
Finishing Moves:
- Fact Check — somersault reverse DDT: Cass applies a facelock, grabs her opponent's arm from behind, and secures their head. She performs a backflip, driving the opponent's head into the ground. Variations include a double Fact Check on two opponents simultaneously and a top rope Fact Check executed after dragging an opponent to the top rope from behind.
- Tangled Web — rolling knee bar: Cass plays possum, appearing defenseless. As her opponent approaches, she quickly ensnares their leg with her own. With a slick Imanari roll, she brings them down to the mat. Once grounded on her back with her opponent pulled down, she secures a knee bar on the ensnared leg, using her hips to apply increased pressure.

Trademark/Signature Moves:
- Sound Bite — spear dropped into a spinning side slam to an oncoming opponent. If the opponent is too heavy to lift, it’s a spear into a regular side slam instead. This move can be used as a surprise reversal or after an Irish whip.
- Bleeding Edge — instep drive penalty kick aimed at the opponent's temple, using the top part of the foot covered by shoelaces like soccer players do. Cass can perform this move with or without a running start, planting her foot next to the target and swinging her kicking leg forward in one fluid motion, supported by her arms for balance. The move can be repeated and can be done in virtually any scenario when the opponent is below Cass.
- Fly By Night — spear suicida through the ropes into the opponent(s) standing on the apron. It's typically aimed to slam their opponent into the barricade, a steel chair, a table, etc. Her opponent could dodge, allowing Cass to hurt herself significantly. Either way, this move hurts Baumer too, and she'll show the effects.
