Excuse the vagueness in which I am going to address all of you, but I have signed on with five different promotions this week. Now, you may ask “Dana, you are rookie, why so many company’s so quickly. I think you better pace yourself.” Maybe that might be sound advice for most, but let’s face it. Let’s face the cold hard truth here…
Time is up!
The wrestling industry as a whole has been antiquated and behind the times for so long. Both in diversity and intolerance. I just don’t have time to get my feet wet with one company. The problem is rampant throughout the industry and needs to be stopped. And since no one wants to question the status quo in fear of “losing their spot” and that there are some people, fellow women even, who benefit from corruption, they won’t say anything either. Somebody needed to step in and make sure that this industry was inclusive to EVERYONE and purge those that wouldn’t be inclusive. Somebody needed to stand up for common decency and since those who have been indoctrinated refuse to believe anything is wrong, I must be the 1 Woke Warrior in an industry of blind followers. I must be the one brave enough to call out the patriarchy for their double standards and gate keeper. I must be the one to break that glass ceiling.
What’s that you say?
Wrestling is inclusive?
Really? To whom? They violence lusting men who are only programmed by their need to abuse each other and women in the name of belt? Or perhaps it is the numerous lesbians who flaunt their sexual escapades out on twitter; you know the ones who sound like they came out of a porno and not real life? Those women aren’t real women, they are manufactured products of an industry made for an audience of teenage boys who are being taught how to disrespect women. So, of course, every two women out of three our lesbians in this industry. Because they bring in money from horny men and boys who don’t know any better. Show me one woman on any of the rosters I am signed to who can be seen as a role model to the young women watching our shows …and I’ll show you a person who debased herself for the mighty dollar.
So yes, we are inclusive …two super straight men and porno lesbians. And you’ll be lucky to find an African American in there somewhere, with maybe a tad bit of Asian representation.
Where are the homosexual men? Where are the Indians? Muslims? Transgendered peoples? Overweight women? Native Americans? Straight women? A-sexuals? Why aren’t these people represented by wrestling culture? I would say “little persons,” but our industry has a history of exploiting and misrepresenting them. So, of course, they aren’t going to return to it. Where is the representation?
It doesn’t exist. There is intolerance to anything different in this industry …AND I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!
But what does exist? A company that freely lets women wrestle in cages as a bathroom break, while the “real stars” are in a 60 Minute Iron Man match. Then there is the company that splits the roster by gender and NEVER let’s a woman in the PPV main event. There answer to this? An all women Bikini-fest PPV on the beach, leading to more exploiting and more lining the management’s pockets with the jizz of horny little boys. That isn’t appropriate. And then you have the “Punk rock” company that has little to no female representation and worships a culture that has been embraced by deplorables and skinheads throughout the world. It is all grunge and death matches and shouldn’t be tolerated in civilized society. Oh, and then there is the return of a company that is under the umbrella of a network …that wants to have its own show JUST for the women …but they only get to wrestle once a month …a whole country away from the rest of the company. It doesn’t help that the first person to claim that he wants the world title, called himself as everyone’s died, exclusively tying himself to the patriarchy that runs this company. Like, he somehow deserves the title because he claimed it. I’m sorry, but in my America, we earn our title shots.
And then there is the most senior of these companies I have thrown my name into the hat of… seriously …I only have to say this.
You have a wrestler named the “MILF Hunter” who concentrates more on bedding middle aged widows than wrestling. I rest my case on how tolerant you are to the world outside you. MILF Hunter destroyed any credibility you may have had. Also, your Cruiserweight title should be open to all weight classes.
There should be no ceiling. No divider. No “us Vs. Them,” but somehow, you people want to create it. You want to exploit women. Leave people out. Separate based on genetics. Promote the abuse of women …and let Lash Donohue offend everyone by letting him continue to wrestle around the world. That man should’ve been put a stop to a long time ago. But yet, his management continues to employ and defend him. And that is the case with all of the companies that have hired me. You have arrogant, chauvenist males running around unchecked, allowed to do and say whatever they want.
Well, times up to the whole wrestling industry.
I am here to be your watch dog, to make sure that the little girls watching have a strong female role model that they can root for. This world needed a heroine and they finally her.
