The opening chords of Bishop Briggs “Champion” are heard as the cameras open up on the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, preparing for Day 14 of the Queen of the Frontier and Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournaments. Viewers are welcomed to the event by Nick Hanson and Miranda Augustino before the camera cuts right to the ring and the event begins.

[CHRISTINA OLSON V. QUEEN CTHULHU]
This was a match that fans had been highly anticipating since the first round of B Block. Christina Olson was so fired up from the mental and emotional taunting that her tag team partner, Lilith Meadows, had been made to endure at the hands of Queen Cthulhu that the fiery redhead simply ran in on the masked woman as soon as she made it inside the ring during her entrance and started throwing shots, promptly causing the referee to start the match. Christina took out weeks of frustration on her tag partner’s former lover. Christina kept control of the match for the first couple of minutes before Queen Cthulhu countered a running corner splash attempt by stepping out and simply throwing an elbow right into her face. Christina reeled and Cthulhu ran in, delivering a Bulldog right onto her knee. The fans were going wild as the two women clashed for the first time in singles action, ever.
Queen Cthulhu worked to keep control of the match once she gained it but Christina Olson fought back with that fierce determination she was known for. Olson’s strikes and aerial attacks kept Cthulhu on her toes with the Kingdom’s redhead voicing her displeasure with the woman; taunting the masked woman for everything that had happened with Lilith. Blaming her for Lilith’s actions. It looked like Olson actually had Cthulhu on the ropes, so to speak as she stood over the woman, nudging her head with her foot, disrespectfully. Olson continued this until deciding to run off the ropes and come in for what looked like an impromptu Curb Stomp. Something had snapped inside Cthulhu’s head, however, and the woman exploded upward and leveled Olson with a stiff lariat as she closed in. Olson clutched her chest as she sat up and Cthulhu just pounced on her, starting to lay down forearms and elbows across the woman’s face, drawing a pop from the crowd. It became quickly apparent however that Cthulhu didn’t intend on stopping.
HANSON
“Watch out! I think Queen Cthulhu has snapped!”
AUGUSTINO
“As if she hadn’t already?!”
Cthulhu just kept bringing shots down on Christina, over and over and over until it was obvious she had opened the woman up, causing blood to run from a cut on her forehead. Fans began to look concerned, even, as Cthulhu just kept going and Christina found it harder to keep up her defense. Finally, the referee decided to try and get the masked woman to stop until she had to literally attempt to pull Cthulhu off. Christina started to sit up as the ref came to check and make sure she could continue but Christina looked like she was half out of it. To the shock of the crowd, the ref looked back at Queen Cthulhu just in time to see the woman running off the ropes to deliver the Call of Cthulhu to Christina, knocking her back to the mat. The referee chided Cthulhu for her recklessness but the green and black clad woman merely stared at the official before reaching down to grab Christina by her wrists. Turning her over and lifting her up onto her knees with her wrists held in place. From here, Call of Cthulhu cocked back and delivered a sudden stiff knee strike directly to the face as she held Christina's arms, introducing the Funeral Thirst. The crowd roared emphatically as the knee hit with a loud CRACK and Christina fell to the mat as Cthulhu laid over her for the pinfall. Queen Cthulhu immediately rolled out of the ring, calmly taking her leave as the referee started calling for EMTs and the ring doctor. Christina laid on her side, holding her nose - broken - with blood seeping through her fingers.
“American Wasteland” began to play as she backed up the ramp, leaving the ring and surrounding area a sea of carnage. A final shot of Christina Olson showed the doctors tending to her before a final focus was on Queen Cthulhu on the stage, slowly raising her arms out to the side. Noticing the camera, she dropped her arms and walked right up to the lens. Her cold eyes glaring from behind her mask as she slowly raised a hand up into frame with her index finger up...indicating ‘1’.
HANSON
“My god, Miranda...I think Queen Cthulhu just sent a message….”
AUGUSTINO
“No comment, Nick. No. Fucking. Comment!”
Winner: Queen Cthulhu
Result: Pinfall

[MIA HAYASHI V. ERIN MERCER]
Erin Mercer was in a pretty sour mood at this point in the tournament. She’d been made to watch her best friend, in the midst of a mental breakdown, rampage through the block like an untamed, wild animal. Despite her attempts at trying to help her, it seemed like everyone all around her could only talk about “putting her friend down” like a rabid dog. Erin refused to accept that and her opponent tonight was one of those very people. So Erin came into the match, sans her usual handshake of respect and called for the bell. Erin started with the strikes and it became apparent, real quick, that Mia Hayashi had no problem throwing friendship or whatever these two had, to the wind and fired back with shots of her own. Erin still had her shoulder wrapped but seemed to be able to use it as she was finally seen starting to use her various suplexes and takedowns again. Clearly, she was overpowering Mia until the one half of the Burning Hearts Champions went for a tackle, running Erin’s shoulder into the corner. Erin grabbed her shoulder and winced. It didn’t hurt that bad, but Mia slingshotted herself over the top rope, grabbed her by the arm and delivered a Hot Shot to the arm onto the top rope. That was it. Erin cried out and grabbed at her arm again. Mia got a mixture of cheers from her fans and boos from people who thought that it was a dirty move. The adorable, feisty little Japanese goth gave a shrug and a middle finger to her haters.
Erin came right back as Mia climbed up onto the apron; the redhead slamming her good shoulder into Mia and sending her crashing down into the security barricade. Violently. Fans popped at this. Payback was a bitch. Once Erin got out of the ring, however, she moved slowly, nursing her shoulder as she continued to lay into Mia. Mia reversed momentum again, Irish whipping Erin shoulder first into the ring post and dished out her own array of kicks and aerial attacks. Back inside the ring, it became too much for even the highly determined Erin Mercer and Mia Hayashi was able to pick her up onto her shoulders after several more minutes of back and forth action to deliver the Supreme Thunder for the pinfall.
Winner: Mia Hayashi
Result: Pinfall

[SERENA FROST V. LEEANN VISKAN]
Serena Frost and LeeAnn Viskan came out of their corners and right into a lockup. Serena still had her face brace mask to protect her nose but it didn’t protect her jaw from the stiff forearms of LeeAnn. Serena threw them right back, though, as the two women engaged in a brutal war with one another. LeeAnn found herself on the receiving end of a brutal onslaught of Serena’s brawling style offense but was able to keep the pace slow with her experience in takedowns and administering holds. Serena was able to get out of a few by herself but wound up lucky enough to be near the ropes for most of them so she could call for the break.
Serena’s injury from the first round was surely no handicap against her as she still fought just as hard as ever. It wasn’t quite enough to stop the Lady of House Payne on this day, however, as LeeAnn kept up with the takedowns and the manipulating of limbs, mixed with her own strikes to wear Serena down bit by bit. Finally, after countering an attempt at a Swinging Leg DDT, LeeAnn managed to wrap Serena’s legs up in the Chemical Wedding and administer the pressure. Serena reached and clawed for the ropes. She even tried to toss LeeAnn to the side using her hips but Viskan squatted down low to steady her face and administer more pressure on Serena’s legs and back until she had no choice but to tap out.
Winner: LeeAnn Viskan
Result: Submission

[ANGEL KUSANAGI V. MORGAN PAYNE]
This one was full of brutally stiff shots and painful looking drops as the two women met up in the center ring, getting right up in each other’s faces before locking up and going right at one another. The commentary team brought up the last time these two met inside the ring together. The resulting match having ended with a kick to the head from Angel Kusanagi that had caused Morgan Payne to be sidelined with a concussion. This was their first time meeting in the ring in over a year but Morgan Payne clearly hadn’t forgotten that match. Definitely not, with the way she was slinging Angel Kusanagi around the ring with suplexes, Irish whips and every variation of a power move that one could think of. Mixed in with her usual strikes, knees and forearms, Morgan was definitely set on settling an old score.
Angel was just as determined to put more points on the board as she countered Morgan’s fast and agile powerhouse offense with her brutal kicks and high flying, aerial maneuvers. Angel didn’t have the power like Morgan had to put the snap and explosiveness into her slams but she had the force behind her kicks to stop the woman in her steps, anytime she got a head of steam built up. One instance saw Morgan Payne, despite the referee trying to talk her down, go for a table and set it up outside of the ring. That came back to bite her later, however, as the fans saw almost an exact repeat of what gave her the concussion. Morgan set up for a flying clothesline but Angel managed to stop her from jumping with a desperate enziguri. The McKeesport native fell from the turnbuckle and to the floor again, but this time, her fall was “softened” as she crashed through the very table she set up. The referee started the count with Angel, at first, sitting back and obviously waiting for a countout victory. Something clicked inside the Japanese woman’s head, however, and she kicked the rope in frustration before leaving the ring to stop the count and throw Morgan Payne back inside the ring.
Angel maintained the advantage here as she continued unloading on the stunned woman but Morgan did fight back with her own, painful looking shots. Angel still seemed a little too fast for her, however, until she went for a springboard back elbow and ended up being caught, belly up right across Morgan’s shoulders. The fans popped, love her or hate her, for the athletic display as Morgan adjusted Angel properly into position before hitting a running Downtown After Dark for the pinfall.
Winner: Morgan Payne

[EAVAN MALONEY V. JASMINE MATTHEWS]
The crowd was on their feet for this one, nearly the entire time as the Krigare and the Queen of the Kingdom FINALLY, for the first time in NFW history, met inside the ring.
AUGUSTINO
“Pretty goddamn fitting for the last women’s match of the night, huh Nick?!”
HANSON
“I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been looking forward to this!”
Jasmine and Eavan started off with some verbal taunting, then went into a lock up. Jasmine tried to gain control with some ground work on Eavan, using her MMA background but Eavan showed that she was just as formidable in the same technique as she slipped her way out of the beginning attempts. The two moved to straight up striking, back and forth. Wrestling wasn’t in the cards just yet. Actual fighting was. Each punch and kick thrown looked like something that belonged more in an eight sided cage. They were nearly even on this exchange until Jasmine went for a running knee off of the ropes and Eavan dropped her with a spinning heel kick right to the face and got a near cover.
Jasmine soon gained control, herself, as she started focusing on kicks and submissions to Eavan’s right knee. Jasmine proceeded to manipulate Eavan around the ring where she wanted her, even leading to getting Eavan down in the corner where she proceeded to gyrate her ass against Eavan’s face, drawing boos haters but a pop from fans that The Kingdom did have.
HANSON
“Now that just looks...unsanitary.”
AUGUSTINO
“I’m not sure what the risk of pink eye is here, but sometimes it’s worth the risk. BITE THAT THANG MAMI!!”
HANSON
“Miranda!”
AUGUSTINO
“Que que?”
Jasmine continued her merciless offensive wave on Eavan and Eavan kept right on fighting back to keep Jasmine from getting too much of an advantage. After more scrapping, Eavan briefly managed to lock in the Krigare which Jasmine managed to escape on the ropes. The same happened moments later when Jasmine attempted to lock in The Constrictor but Eavan managed to get her foot on the ropes. Neither woman could really get an advantage over the other, still, and this continued all the way up until the end when Eavan Maloney ran in, looking to hit the LA Makeover but the sound of the bell stopped her in her tracks. Still a little out of it, all Jasmine saw was the opening and caught Eavan with the Ice Cold as she was focused on the referee. As Jasmine went for the cover, however, the ref informed her that the match was over. The bell had rung. This match...was a draw!
AUGUSTINO
“WELL GODDAMN!!! LOOK AT THAT!!!”
HANSON
“These amazing athletes just went a full thirty minutes! You gotta wonder though, if this match had a few more seconds on the clock, Jasmine Matthews might have won.”
AUGUSTINO
“Ohhh, I don’t think so Nick! Eavan was about to hit the LA Makeover before that bell went off. She stopped herself! That’s discipline! I think that kick from Jasmine was kinda dirty!”
HANSON
“Jasmine looked like she was a little out of it for a second there. I don’t think she heard the bell. She DID go for a cover.”
AUGUSTINO
“True. Well, we might have to see these two again sometime! But that’s one point each! Good job Mami! You too, Jas!”

[ERIC LEE V. WILLIAM MANNHEIM]
The referee could barely keep this one under control as the two men who had been at odds with one another recently finally met in the ring to settle their differences. Eric Lee put his striking game and ruthless aggression to the test against the giant William Mannheim’s own brutal strikes and quick groundwork. For his size, Mannheim moved quick, taking Lee to the mat with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu maneuvers. Mannheim had the power but Lee had the smaller stature to be able to slip out of a lot of the holds. Both men had about the same amount of experience, however, which kept the match at a pretty even, back and forth pace.
Again, weapons got involved behind the referees back when he caught Charlie Grace - this time - trying to remove the turnbuckle padding for Eric. Eric took the opportunity to grab a trash can lid from under the ring and proceed to smash it across Mannheim’s body over and over. Even ended up busting Mannheim open near the end and smeared the blood across his chest and down his face. When the referee finally returned to the match, he chided Eric for using the trash can lid. He looked just about ready to call for the DQ until a bloody faced Mannheim grabbed the ref and convinced him otherwise.
The two continued fighting back and forth with the referee wanting to check on Mannheim’s condition a few times but Mannheim kept brushing the referee away and carrying on with the match. Eric Lee kept Mannheim on the ropes, wearing him down as he laid into him with his variety of Muay Thai Strikes and even hit the Visions of Insanity but William Mannheim managed to just barely kick out of it. Eric Lee finally waited by the corner, for William Mannheim to get to his feet. He stepped out for a superkick but Mannheim managed to stumble passed the man as he came out. Eric Lee turned around, right into a sudden Three Sheets To The Wind, leveling him in the corner. Against his better judgement, and to hell with his cast covered hand, Mannheim bit through the pain as he lifted Eric Lee up to land Deliverance and score the pinfall.
Winner: William Mannheim

[BUZZSAW V. MIGUEL VILLALOBOS]
Miguel Villalobos attempted to climb the scorecard higher as he took on the House of Payne’s Buzzsaw. The two engaged in an absolute war of ferocity and ruthlessness as Miguel’s brute power went up against Buzzsaw’s mixed martial arts arsenal. Miguel caught a few of Buzzsaw’s kicks and countered the strike into various holds and suplexes, manhandling the man around the ring with explosive force and ferocity.
Buzzsaw fired back with his speed and precision as he worked on striking Miguel in the legs and the ribs with his kicks; firing off elbows and backfists across the face until the man was left staggering on his feet. Miguel persevered through the striking offense, however, using his power again to lash out at Buzzsaw again and work him over with his strength. It was only then Miguel went for a Half Nelson Sleeper Suplex on Buzzsaw that the masked assassin flipped the tables again, landing on his feet and countering the suplex right into the DNR, dragging Miguel to the mat as he locked in the submission hold until the Wolf King gave in. Just when it seemed like Miguel was going to pass out, he gave a slow couple of taps on Buzzsaw’s shoulder to signal his own defeat.
Winner: Buzzsaw

[WYLD STALLION V. VINCENT STONE]
Another part two rematch in NFW took place as Wyld Stallion and Vincent Stone circled the ring and engaged in a lockup, jarring for position. Wyld Stallion attempted to gain the upper hand in the beginning but Vincent Stone administered his reversals and counters, visibly fighting with more drive and determination in each and every movement. The matchup became a fast paced, high intensity contest with both men striking away and soaring through the air in and out of the ring, trying to outdo one another.
One instance saw Stone and Stallion engage in a back and forth exchange. Each man attempting a maneuver on their opponent that the other countered out of. Stallion attempted a hurricanrana but Stone rolled across the mat on the follow through and ran to the ropes. Stone came off the ropes in a springboard kick that Stallion rolled underneath. Stallion’s legs came up, catching Stone in a scissorhold headlock and attempted to fling him into the ropes. Stone dipped forward into a cartwheel and went for a hurricanrana of his own, sending Stallion into a front flip where he kipped up onto his feet. From there, the two began attempting back and forth kicks with the other man blocking or evading it. Stallion caught Stone in a headlock takeover but Stone swung his legs up, locking Stallion in a scissor hold. Stallion slipped his head right out and both men kipped up to their feet, going for a superkick which ended up with both men eating a foot and hitting the mat. This had the fans going wild, however, sheerly for the display of athleticism.
As their energy was spent over the moments, they started landing some more of their bigger moves on each other. Signatures and near pinfalls were exchanged with Wyld Stallion finally catching Vincent Stone off of a springboard forearm attempt and going for his package suplex bomb. As Stone landed up on Stallion’s shoulders, however, he countered into a hurricanrana, throwing Stallion into the ropes. As Stone climbed to his feet, Stallion stumbled back, towards him, being spun around right into the setup by Stone before the man lifted him up and drilled him into the mat with the Fatality, gaining the pinfall.
Winner: Vincent Stone

[HAVOK V. NICO SALVATORE]
For literal months, Nico Salvatore had been begging to get a piece of Havok, one on one in the ring. Tonight was the night in the most ironic of ways as, now, the two were on the same side, and part of the same group. They just happened to be in the same block so it was bound to happen sooner or later.
What ensued was a brutal, hard hitting match that threw most if not all caution to the wind. Havok really demonstrated more of his bursts of quickness and agility over just the brute strength he commonly showed. At some points, he moved more like what one would consider a cruiserweight to like; catching Nico in an armdrag and following up with a quick, standing dropkick to the man’s back right where he stood. This was two hundred and sixty five pounds coming down into Nico’s back, however, so the man really felt it as he went down. Havok picked Nico up and began delivering his arsenal of suplexes and powerslams. Nico fired back with his own stiff shots, ending one combination with a Northern Lights Suplex that ended in a nearfall. Still, Havok came at Nico like a speeding tank, hitting him with everything he had. Another instance saw Havok run right into a Key To Orkas only to whip back around and clobber the man with a discus lariat that sent him over the top rope and to the floor. After that came another display of athleticism as Havok stepped out onto the apron and attempted a running cannonball. Beautifully executed but ended up missing as Nico dove out of the way and caused Havok to go slamming right into the ring steps.
From there, Nico opened up on Havok with his stiffest shots, feeding him several closed fists and elbows to rock the big man. Jim Reynolds simply sat by at the commentary table, silent but watching as the two men from the Dominion of Pain went to war with one another. In the closing moments, Nico ended up picking up the win after delivering three consecutive Keys To Orkas to Havok until he finally fell to a knee and was given a fourth one. He looked almost completely out of it as Nico hoisted him up over his shoulders. Fans were expecting the GFY until Nico slung Havok’s feet over his head and brought him down into a modified facebuster, delivering his father - Doomsday’s - old finisher, the Atom Bomb for the pinfall victory, while the crowd went nuts.
Winner: Nico Salvatore

[CHRIS WOLFE V. MATT KLAZZIC]
The main event of the evening, for the men’s tournament saw Chris Wolfe and Matt Klazzic face off for the third time in their NFW careers. There was a notable difference, however, in how Matt Klazzic carried himself. While the last two times, one being a TV title match, saw the fan favorite appearing to be the underdog, this time he looked to be on a more equal footing with Chris Wolfe. The Big Bad Wolfe came into the match, ever the respectful one with a handshake to Matt, before going all out as always. Takedowns, grapples and various holds as Chris Wolfe intended to flat out out-wrestle his opponent. Matt Klazzic showed a massive improvement in technique and focus, however, as he wasn’t too nimble from his size but he could move and reverse holds like the best of them. Clearly his absence during some of last year had done him well and whatever else he had picked up.
Chris Wolfe and Matt Klazzic battled it out for the better part of the half hour with Wolfe continuing his technical striking combination against Matt Klazzic’s King’s Road arsenal of brutal elbows and painful drivers, focusing mostly on the shoulders and neck. It was this that gained Matt Klazzic the deciding victory in the end, after persevering through two Direwolfe’s and failing to put Chris Wolfe away with a Death Valley Driver, when the man finally countered a superkick by catching the foot, spinning Chris around and delivering a bridging German Suplex to go for the cover. Chris Wolfe barely made the kickout but Matt Klazzic maintained control as he picked the man up and spun him around to deliver the Northern Lights Driver for the pinfall.
Winner: Matt Klazzic
Result: Pinfall
