[CHRISTINA OLSON V. ANGEL KUSANAGI]
Another Unwanted versus The Kingdom match took place as Christina Olson and Angel Kusanagi squared off in the ring. Two women of very similar styles. This was going to be good! The two women started off, circling and trading kicks back and forth, trying to get quick jabs in before Angel decided to turn it up a notch and move to the grappling, catching Christina in hammerlock where she yanked the woman’s hair back and visibly taunted her in her ear. Christina seemed to be taking it in stride until Angel literally nipped at her earlobe and the fiery redhead reacted instinctively, reversing out of the hammerlock and hitting an armdrag to get Angel away from her. Christina stood up, touching her ear and looking at Angel, bewildered.
Angel paid for her suggestive teasing as Christina ended up, soon gaining control of the match and hit her with everything from simple roundhouse kicks to breathtaking aerial maneuvers that made her resemble a phoenix with her hair and her outfit. At one point, fans witnessed Christina dropkick Angel out of the ring before wasting no time in running up the turnbuckle and hopping over to the outside middle before springing off into a moonsault all in one smooth flow. She had Angel on the ropes for awhile but so to did the platinum blonde Japanese woman who turned the tables around in her favor, as well. Continuing with her suggestive taunting of her opponent (she repeated what she did to Jasmine Matthews, licking Christina’s face in the middle of feeding her forearms in the corner), Angel pulled out all of the stops from her arsenal, striking as hard as she could with her own kicks and elbows. Her top spot of the match was a springboard corkscrew moonsault she hit, coming down onto Olson on the outside of the ring, right in front of the commentary table.
In the final moments of the match, it was anyone’s guess who was going to pull off the win as the two women traded offense again. Angel rocked Christina with a spinning back elbow then went for the Steel Feather but Christina ducked underneath it and ran to the ropes. Angel stepped in to follow her as Christina attempted a springboard hurricanrana. As she landed on Angel’s shoulders however, Angel managed to step in enough that when Christina went to throw herself back, she bounced right off of the top rope and up into a powerbomb position. Angel turned from the ropes and made Christina lean back, upside down essentially and dropped to her knees, delivering the Boseki Driver and getting the pinfall.
Winner: Angel Kusanagi
Result: Pinfall

[MORGAN PAYNE V. SERENA FROST]
What do you get when you stick two brawlers inside the ring and tell them to go? You get this match. History between the Kingdom and the Unwanted said this was going to be a brutal one if it ever happened and it certainly was. Jack jawing escalated into shoving and shoving escalated into a brutal exchange of fists and forearms. Morgan Payne controlled the beginning of the match with that, combined with her power as she proceeded to move Serena around the ring where she wanted her, Irish whipping her into a corner and hitting a running European Uppercut, sending Serena slumping down into the corner. Morgan ran right back across the ring then came charging in again to deliver a brutal cannonball.
Serena Frost got more than her share of payback once she was able to counter an O’Connor Roll by slipping out of it and delivering a stiff kick right to the back of Morgan Payne. Serena chipped away at the Kingdom and House of Payne member with sharp jabs and savage elbows. Then came the DDTs and chokeholds that slowed down Morgan’s momentum in the ring immensely. Morgan attempted to counter a cobra clutch with the Art of Ruin but Serena threw her legs up around the woman and brought her down to the mat, causing Morgan to struggle to get to the ropes if she wanted to get free. She made it, but rolled out to catch her breath, only to end up eating a Suicide Dive from Serena as the woman came barreling in towards her, sending them both into the guard rail.
Morgan and Serena continued to fight out their frustrations against each other back and forth with Serena keeping the stronger woman under wraps with her strikes and takedowns. Morgan fought against Serena’s setup for the Ice Age as much as she was able to until she was able to twist out of it and rock Serena with a headbutt. Quickly following up, Morgan went for the Art of Ruin again and nailed it right on the money, covering Serena then for the pinfall win.
Winner: Morgan Payne
Result: Pinfall

[ERIN MERCER V. JASMINE MATTHEWS]
This was a match everyone had been waiting for and it was about time as Erin Mercer got her hands on another member of the Kingdom. This time, the Queen herself, Jasmine Matthews. Both women took it to one another with Erin Mercer throwing any sense of “good sportsmanship” out the window and just went right at Jasmine Matthews, causing the bell to ring and start the match. The San Francisco crowd got behind her all the way, popping loudly as Erin opened up with wild, savage shots to Jasmine in the corner. Erin whipped her out of the corner by her hair, throwing Jasmine to the floor and ran in for a stuff sliding lariat from behind. Erin was red hot with anger and she was taking it all out on her opponent. One of a few whom she blamed for her best friend’s current mental state.
CROWD
“FUCK HER UP, ERIN, FUCK HER UP!”
(Clap clap)
“FUCK HER UP, ERIN, FUCK HER UP!”
(Clap clap)
“FUCK HER UP, ERIN, FUCK HER UP!”
(Clap clap)
“FUCK HER UP, ERIN, FUCK HER UP!”
Erin’s enraged onslaught lasted for a few minutes, wearing Jasmine down before the redhead went for a running, cartwheel body splash into the corner but Jasmine moved out of the way and ran in for a big boot in the corner, catching Erin right in the face. Jasmine followed up with a barrage of brutal knee strikes in the corner, softening up Erin Mercer’s ribs before throwing her out into the center of the ring. Jasmine looked like she was setting up for the Ice Cold but as she ran in, Erin countered with a Spinebuster and found enough energy to throw up four fingers, garnering a pop from the older fans in the audience.
HANSON
“Shades of Double A, Miranda!! We know he’s on the list of Erin’s inspirations!”
AUGUSTINO
“Good taste in idols, Nick!”
Erin and Jasmine battled back and forth with a growing hatred for one another as time went on. Jasmine ended up caught in the Angel Trap with Erin trying to add as much torque as possible, yelling at the Queen of the Kingdom to give up as she arched herself up to add pressure. Jasmine managed to get her feet on the ropes ever and cause the break. Erin, instead, picked her up and decided to go for the Red Death but Jasmine slipped out, landing behind her and caught her with the Ice Cold right in the back of the head. As Erin went down to one knee as Jasmine walked around to the front. She ran her hands up from between her legs, over her stomach and turned them outward to throw Erin two middle fingers, mouthing a very clear - “Fuck. You. Bitch!” - before delivering a second Ice Cold right to the face and covering Erin for the pin.
Winner: Jasmine Matthews
Result: Pinfall

[QUEEN CTHULHU V. MIA HAYASHI]
To say that Mia Hayashi was torn in how to approach her match with Queen Cthulhu was an understatement. Mia knew just as well as anyone else who was under that mask and she wanted to do what she could, as well. Mia started slow and steady, using more of her wits to try and play the grappling game with Queen Cthulhu. This worked for the most part as Mia was able to take the masked woman down and manipulate her where she wanted, using ground game combined from what she already knew and some holds and transitions that had clearly been taught to her by Adrianna Salvatore - a student to LeeAnn Viskan. Mia controlled most of the match using graps and takedowns but Queen Cthulhu began scouting and reading her movements and soon switched to a grappling game of her own. This was a woman who had previously beaten Adrianna Salvatore and had taken some lessons from Vincent Stone as well.
Queen Cthulhu threw everything she had at Mia Hayashi but Mia weathered the storm through Cthulhu’s brutal strikes and stiff drivers. It was this storm that got the better of the former Small But Mighty member, however, as Queen Cthulhu slipped out of an attempt at Supreme Thunder and opened up with a combination of leg kicks, face slaps, knife edge chops and back elbows. A combination that ended when Mia dropped to one knee and was given a savage kick directly to the face that violently snapped her to the mat. The crowd reacted in shock as Mia scrambled to try and get up, clearly knocked for a loop. Cthulhu cocked back and delivered another snap kick to the face, knocking Mia down. She still continued trying to get on her knees, at least; the camera catching a view of her face which showed a thin trickle of blood running down the corner of her mouth.
HANSON
“Oh my god! Someone’s gotta stop this woman! What has gotten into her?!”
AUGUSTINO
“I don’t like this at all!”
As Mia made it to her knees, she looked up, eyes glazed over up at Queen Cthulhu. Her mouth moved, as if she were trying to say the woman’s name. ‘A...Al...Alex…?” Queen Cthulhu didn’t seem moved by the gesture and, instead, ran off of the ropes, delivering the Call of Cthulhu for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Queen Cthulhu
Result: Pinfall

[LEEANN VISKAN V. EAVAN MALONEY]
The Demon Warrior and Lady of House Payne put on an absolute wrestling clinic for the San Diego audience. Eavan Maloney may have had less years of experience than LeeAnn Viskan but her youth and flexibility was enough to keep her nimble and able to trade off both the submission and striking that LeeAnn had to dish out. For everything that Eavan had to throw back at LeeAnn, the veteran woman had something to throw back at the Women’s TV Champion.
After pressing through the merciless onslaught that LeeAnn Viskan brought to the ring, Eavan Maloney managed to avoid a second attempt at the Chemical Wedding by pushing LeeAnn forward with her foot into the ropes. LeeAnn rested against the ropes for a moment, not seeing Eavan get up to her feet. As the Lady of House Payne turned back towards her opponent, Eavan came running in for the LA Makeover but LeeAnn countered, knocking Eavan down to the mat and ran in to attempt her husband’s finisher, the Bukakke Blast. Eavan threw herself back, showing that flexibility again and popped up onto her feet. As LeeAnn turned back around, Eavan ran in to hit the LA Makeover, successfully this time and get the pinfall.
Winner: Eavan Maloney
Result: Pinfall

[BUZZSAW V. HAVOK]
Buzzsaw and Havok met in the center of the ring for their match, sizing each other up and feeling one another out. Buzzsaw managed to evade Havok’s attempts to get his hands on him at first and started feeding him kicks and various other strikes to try and soften the big man up. Havok looked like the kicks were more pissing him off than anything else, up to the point that he caught one of Buzzsaw’s kicks and hit an overhead belly to belly suplex on the man into the corner and turned the tables around. Havok began pulling out his harder hits as he showcased his strength and agility, hitting Buzzsaw with his own strikes and delivering suplex after suplex and driver after driver onto one of NFW’s most feared athletes.
At one point, Havok managed to lock in the Straight Jacket, wrenching Buzzsaw’s shoulders back as he applied full torque on the man’s limbs. Havok ended up leaning the man too far over and his foot touched the rope, forcing the break. Buzzsaw took a moment and rolled out of the ring to nurse his shoulders but Havok came running to the ropes and attempted a pescado over the top rope. Buzzsaw was able to move out of the way and catch the man with the Buzzsaw Kick outside of the ring, slowing him down. Buzzsaw rolled back into the ring before the 20 count as did Havok, right at the last second. As Havok was pulling himself up, Buzzsaw sized him up for another kick. As he threw it, however, Havok caught it in one arm and hoisted Buzzsaw up onto his shoulders, setting up for The Disasterpiece. As he tossed Buzzsaw back and into the back flip, Buzzsaw landed on his feet, popped up and delivered a legitimate martial arts front kick right to the chin of Havok, knocking him unsteadily on his feet. Havok stumbled around until he dropped down to one knee where Buzzsaw delivered a second Buzzsaw Kick for the pinfall.
Winner: Buzzsaw
Result: Pinfall

[MIGUEL VILLALOBOS V. ERIC LEE]
The Wolf King and The UltraViolent God put on an absolute war against each other. As the two circled around the ring, taking shots at one another, the commentators gave a little history between the two. While Miguel Villalobos and Eric Lee had never faced one another before, Miguel had once previously encountered Eric’s brother Ashe Corvin and injured the man as part of his debut. So now that the two were finally meeting in the ring, Eric Lee could notably be seen wrestling more aggressive than even his most die hard fans were used to seeing. Miguel still had the power advantage and manhandled the slightly smaller legend around the ring with suplexes and power slams.
Eric Lee had a personal score to settle that had been brewing for a few years now and despite being the physically weaker, and maybe even slower of the two, The UltraViolent God found an opening in Miguel’s defense when he shot in after escaping an attempt at Mordida del Lobos and took the Wolf King down to the mat. Eric Lee succeeded in getting a ground mount on Miguel Villalobos and proceeded to throw brutal elbow shots down at the man while he tried covering up. The fans went absolutely wild, seeing some of the man’s legitimate fight training come into play as he rained elbows down on Miguel over...and over...and over...and over…. This went on until the referee noticed that Miguel was no longer covering up and had apparently been knocked unconscious. Immediately, the referee pulled Eric Lee off of Miguel Villalobos and motioned for the timekeeper to ring the bell. Eric Lee glared down at the fallen Wolf King, spreading his arms out as the ref checked a laceration on. “Richard Ramirez” played as Eric Lee displayed the blood of Miguel on his elbows, wiping some on his chest like a badge of victory as he calmly and silently walked out of the ring and up the ramp.
Winner: Eric Lee
Result: Ref Stoppage/KO

[WILLIAM MANNHEIM V. MATT KLAZZIC]
Matt Klazzic and The Great White North’s William Mannheim wrestled a fantastic match where Mannheim displayed less of his brawling and street fighting side and more of his actual wrestling training to take on his son’s tag team partner. Matt Klazzic lacked the physical height but possessed enough strength to get a few of his King’s Road slams dished out onto William Mannheim. What Mannheim took, Mannheim gave back as well. Even with the cast around his hand, he managed to pull off some of his takedowns and suplexes that didn’t quite rely on the grip of both hands; even if it resulted in him having to which side he grabbed a hold of Matt with.
William Mannheim kept Matt Klazzic sweating and on his toes, around the ring and outside as the two men’s brawl took them all around the outside and into the crowd. Mannheim controlled things heading back into the ring but as they got back in, Matt Klazzic began showing that heart again and pushed back against the gigantic obstacle in his way to victory. Matt Klazzic managed to dip under Three Sheets To The Wind and catch Mannheim with a kick to the ribs and -- with an audible grunt to give himself from motivation - hoisted Mannheim up for the Northern Lights Driver. Matt Klazzic fell back but managed to roll over and crawl his way on top of William Mannheim for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Matt Klazzic
Result: Pinfall

[WYLD STALLION V. CHRIS WOLFE]
Chris Wolfe and Wyld Stallion went toe to toe in a fast paced, electrifying contest. In an essential rematch between the two from the Television Championship match they had, the two kept the match back and forth between Chris Wolfe’s striking and technical mat work versus Wyld Stallion’s high flying, lucha libre based technique. Nobody could really say who kept control of the match as it was that down the middle. Each man exchanged their key offensive maneuvers back and forth over the length of time.
Despite an evenly fought match, there had to be a victor in the end. The victory came when Chris Wolfe countered an attempt at the Phoenix Splash from Wyld Stallion and picked him up for the Direwolf. Before he could initiate the swing off of his shoulders, however, Wyld Stallion dug deep and managed to get down and onto his feet. He grabbed Chris Wolfe and caught him with the modified suplex powerbomb before climbing to the top turnbuckle and landed a beautiful Shooting Star Press for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Wyld Stallion
Result: Pinfall
Time: 20:55

[NICO SALVATORE V. VINCENT STONE]
This was another uphill battle for Vincent Stone if anybody had ever seen one. The underdog with one of the biggest hearts in the business going toe to toe with one of the hottest young newcomers with just under two years of pro experience. Nico Salvatore showed his ever growing promise as he controlled the beginning of the match with his fists and knees, mixing in MMA takedowns and submission attempts just to make it hurt more.
Vincent Stone, while maybe an underdog, was of course never known to take a beating lying down and after persevering throughout Nico’s merciless assault, Stone survived a pair of Keys to Orkas, narrowly escaping a GFY as well. He dug deep and pulled out more of his big moves, mostly inspired by his idols, hitting Nico with such moves as the PK, the Flashing Elbow and catching Nico in the Muta Lock, almost getting a tapout before Nico managed to reach the ropes. Determined to gain another victory, Nico came up swinging, feeding Stone more knees and elbows, even a headbutt that rocked the man. When Nico ran off the ropes, going for another Key to Orkas, however, Vincent Stone narrowly evaded it, catching Nico with a superkick when he turned around. Nico stumbled back into the ropes and back off. Stone delivered a SECOND superkick to the self proclaimed God of Wrestling. As Nico started to slump down, Stone caught him and hastily set him up. Not even going for the “Finish Him” taunt, Stone hoisted Nico up and delivered the FATALITY to score his first victory in the tournament.
Winner: Vincent Stone
Result: Pinfall
