The opening chords of Bishop Briggs “Champion” are heard as the cameras open up on the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, preparing for Night 6 of the Queen of the Frontier and Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournaments. Viewers are welcomed to the event by Nick Hanson and Miranda Augustino before the camera cuts right to the ring and the event begins.

[QUEEN CTHULHU V. ANGEL KUSANAGI]
It was another intense staredown at the beginning of the match but Angel Kusanagi was the one who kicked things off, essentially tackling Queen Cthulhu into the corner. Angel proceeded to unload with a storm of brutal knees and forearms, beating the masked woman mercilessly until she went for a running charge and Cthulhu threw an elbow back into her face. Angel stumbled back and Cthulhu came out of the corner with a running, jumping knee to the jaw, instantly dropping Angel and going for the pinfall but Angel kicked out. From here, Queen Cthulhu took control of the match, countering anything Angel had to throw at her with a counter strike or a technical takedown. Angel put an end to the barrage of attacks, eventually by dropping down and hanging onto the rope to send the charging masked woman over the top rope and to the floor. Cthulhu got up just in time to see Angel coming down on top of her with a beautiful Asai Moonsault.
The exchange of cringe inducing slams and bone crunching strikes to each other continued for the entire length of the match as Angel and Cthulhu gave one another no quarter, just trying to break one another down. Both women exchanged their finishers - the Call of Cthulhu and the Steel Feather more than once. Angel Kusanagi even set up for the Boseki Driver but Queen Cthulhu managed to whip her legs down and throw Angel right into the ropes where she set her up for a 619. When Cthulhu came off of the ropes for the follow up hurricanrana, however, Angel stunned the crowd, delivering a third Steel Feather, catching Cthulhu right in the face out of mid air before collapsing herself. Exhausted. Angel began crawling towards where Cthulhu laid out on the mat, blinking her eyes under her mask as she was obviously not all there. Angel crawled closer, trying to reach her opponent to make the pinfall when the bell suddenly rang and the crowd went nuts. Some standing and applauding both women’s efforts while others were a little upset at the outcome. Nonetheless, Angel ceased her crawl and slumped her head against the mat as Queen Cthulhu promptly rolled out of the ring and simply limped her way back up the ramp.

[ERIN MERCER V. MORGAN PAYNE]
Erin Mercer and Morgan Payne kicked off their match, coming out of the corner and jaw jacking at one another. This went on for a moment until Erin Mercer shoved Morgan Payne back, asking her just what the fuck her problem was lately. Morgan, always easy to piss off, came back and slugged Erin right in the face before throwing her into a corner and ran in for a stiff European Forearm. Morgan switched things up and threw Erin to the floor, turning the entirety of her attack into a modified Yoi Yoi Double Yoi which saw her knock Erin clean out of the ring and to the floor. Again, the redhead landed on her wrapped shoulder. The fans began to boo the Pittsburgh native as Morgan Payne got out of the ring and proceeded to keep up the attack on Erin Mercer, taunting her as to what had gotten into Alex Brody and how Erin should have just stayed out of everything. This only angered Erin and gave the girl the fire she needed to start fighting back, running Morgan Payne into the steps before climbing onto the apron and hitting a cannonball off the apron, bringing Morgan to the floor.
Erin Mercer threw Morgan Payne back into the ring where the two continued their heated battle. Most of the remaining time was spent with Morgan Payne absolutely manhandling Erin Mercer around the ring with her drivers and suplexes but Erin Mercer persevered through the punishment, managing to stay alive with her striking offense until she was able to drop Morgan to a knee with a stiff kick and nail her with the Shining Wizard again, still not daring to use her arm. Morgan took the knee to the side of the face and went down, allowing Erin to gain the pinfall.
Winner: Erin Mercer
Result: Pinfall

[CHRISTINA OLSON V. EAVAN MALONEY]
The crowd was on their feet for this one as Christina Olson and Eavan Maloney met in an intense battle inside the ring, that saw no ill will between the two oddly enough. One would have thought they absolutely despised each other with how hard they were trading offense back and forth. Christina obviously had scouted Eavan a good bit leading up to this match as she kept the pace going at where she wanted it, attacking the Women’s TV Champion from all angles with brutal strikes and aerial maneuvers. Eavan showed just why she was the reigning TV champion, however, and found an answer to many of Olson’s attempts. Christina was pulling out all the stops, however, such as delivering a Missile Dropkick followed by an immediate Standing Moonsault before going for the cover and nearly getting the pin.
Minutes later, Eavan and Christina were trading off again, exchanging brutal shots when Christina thought she had Eavan dazed on her feet and ran to the ropes. As she came back, Eavan popped up and caught Christina with the L.A Makeover, leaving both women sprawled out on the mat. Eavan never did get the pin attempt for that as Christina ended up rolling over to the ropes and began pulling herself up. Meanwhile, Eavan pulled herself to her own feet and as Christina was catching her breath on the ropes, with her back to the pink haired ball of fury, Eavan ran in, hitting a reverse lungblower and flipping Christina back, away from the ropes and right into the Krigare. Christina resisted for as long as she could, almost a full minute, before finally giving in and tapping the mat to submit.
Winner: Eavan Maloney
Result: Submission

[SERENA FROST V. JASMINE MATTHEWS]
Another hard hitter took place between Serena Frost and Jasmine Matthews. The Queen of the Kingdom versus a woman that some had taken to nicknaming the Ice Queen. The two coldest women currently in NFW. This resulted in a heated battle that saw Jasmine and Serena hitting each other with everything they had. Serena focused on her brawling and violent street fighting techniques while Jasmine worked to control the pace of the match with her MMA and submission based offense. Midway through the match saw Serena go for the Ice Age but Jasmine managed to slip free right as she went for the roll. As Serena landed on the mat, Jasmine swooped in and locked on the Constrictor, going for the submission finish. Serena’s determination saw her fight desperately against the hold, fighting against it as Jasmine tried to fully lock the hold in so she could start the swinging back and forth of her opponent’s body.
When Serena escaped the hold via rope break, she came back like a bat out of hell, unleashing an assault on Jasmine that kept the Queen of the Kingdom practically rocked on her feet or underneath the Ice Queen in brutal ground pound attacks. Jasmine defended and countered as much as she could but Serena eventually locked in the setup for the Ice Age again. This time, however, Jasmine managed to turn her body over and threw Serena back with a brutal Northern Lights Suplex, slamming Serena into the mat. Jasmine got to her feet and ran to the ropes, coming back with the Ice Cold right to the seated woman’s face and threw herself over Serena for the pinfall.
Winner: Jasmine Matthews
Result: Pinfall

[MIA HAYASHI V. LEEANN VISKAN]
This match started off slow and steady with Mia Hayashi carefully watching LeeAnn Viskan as the two circled the ring. LeeAnn repeatedly shot in, grabbing for the legs of Mia but the Unwanted member did her best to keep her legs out of reach and try to get the drop on the NFW veteran. Eventually, Mia was able to drop down onto LeeAnn with a guillotine lock and begin driving her knees into the woman’s shoulders, trying to wear down her arms to make any attempt at the Chemical Wedding or any other submission maneuver difficult to put on. LeeAnn knew how to escape holds as well as put them on, however, and managed to slip out of the guillotine before beginning to dish out her own vicious strikes to Mia Hayashi.
Mia Hayashi proved more than able to hold her own against someone of LeeAnn Viskan’s caliber in wrestling but, as hard as she fought, the Lady of House Payne still proved that she could still roll with the younger and more energetic generation as she twisted Mia’s legs up into the Chemical Wedding right in the center of the ring. It didn’t matter to her who it was. Child. Friend of the family. Loved one. When LeeAnn was in the ring, this was HER domain. She proved as such as she wrenched back on Mia’s legs, causing the younger woman to tap out on the mat.
Winner: LeeAnn Viskan
Result: Submission

[BUZZSAW V. ERIC LEE]
Probably the stiffest match of the tournament, yet, took place when the bell rang to start this one off. Eric Lee absolutely relished in the brutal kicks that Buzzsaw delivered to his body; probably even more than he did in delivering it. It was a cringe fest in all of the good ways possible as Lee and Buzzsaw exchanged sharp chops and stiff kicks to one another. Buzzsaw actually had his hands full, it seemed, in the presence of the UltraViolent God but persevered through the punishment Lee was putting on him.
As the match continued, the younger superstar began showing more and more of his own resilience, finding his way out of Get The Restraints and catching Lee’s foot during an attempt at Shock Therapy before brutally kicking him right in the sternum as he held him. As Lee pushed himself up to his knees, trying to catch his breath, Buzzsaw cocked back and delivered the Buzzsaw Kick, right across the head before making the cover to get the pinfall.
Winner: Buzzsaw
Result: Pinfall

[MIGUEL VILLALOBOS V. MATT KLAZZIC]
Miguel Villalobos and Matt Klazzic met face to face in a brutal contest of power and all out technical mat work. Miguel went for his big moves early on, trying to quickly put Matt away but Matt used his own experience and technique to counter the more dangerous maneuvers and keep himself alive as long as he needed to in the match up. Miguel’s savagery and ruthlessness still gave him the early upper hand, however and he used his power to keep his sizeable opponent right where he wanted him.
Matt Klazzic fought back, just as hard, determined to not give up against the monster he was in the ring with. It was an uphill battle for sure but Matt Klazzic managed to pick up another victory, this time against the Wolf King, as Miguel hoisted him up in an attempt to deliver the Dias de Los Muertos but Klazzic managed to slip free and land on his feet. Matt Klazzic quickly turned and lifted Miguel up, delivering a backdrop driver right onto his neck before popping up onto his feet and hunching down, watching the feral man. Once Miguel got to his feet, unsteadily, Matt Klazzic stepped in and lifted Miguel up to deliver the Northern Lights Driver and score the pinfall.
Winner: Matt Klazzic
Result: Pinfall

[WILLIAM MANNHEIM V. WYLD STALLION]
Two members of the Great White North clashed in the ring as William Mannheim and Wyld Stallion crossed paths in the tournament. William Mannheim was clearly becoming more adapt to wrestling with the cast on his arm. He couldn’t fully get a good hold on his smaller team mate, especially with how quick Stallion was moving around the ring, using his quickness and aerial assaults to keep Mannheim on his toes. However, Mannheim had started taking to performing suplexes that focused more on a grip with his arms than his actual hands. Mannheim used these to keep Wyld Stallion slowed down here and there when he was able to get a hold on him, constantly driving him into the mat.
Wyld Stallion continued to fly, however, and strike as hard as he could against one of his mentors in the business. He even managed to rock William Mannheim and ground him on the mat where he called for the Phoenix Splash. However, as he tried to go for it, Mannheim got his knees up, causing Stallion to come crashing down right on his ribs. As Stallion struggled to get to his feet, Mannheim came off of the ropes to deliver Three Sheets To The Wind to score the pinfall.
Winner: William Mannheim
Result: Pinfall

[HAVOK V. VINCENT STONE]
San Diego witnessed another battle of David and Goliath in an even truer form as Vincent Stone and Havok went to war in the ring. Vincent Stone relied as much as he could on his speed and agility to keep things in his advantage but it was opponents like these that showed the fanbase truly how much of a monster Havok was. How much of a freak of nature he was. Not only did he fight back against Stone using his strength and power but he reminded viewers that he could move almost just as quickly as someone Stone’s size. After trading off strikes, Havok hit Stone with a spinning back elbow that sent the man rolling out of the ring. Fans looked on as Havok walked to the ropes, hopped over with a grip on them and the audience let out a deafening pop as the 6’3, 265lb man hit an Asai Moonsault down to the floor, crashing down onto Vincent Stone with all of his weight.
HANSON
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME, RIGHT NOW?!”
AUGUSTINO
“How does he do that shit?!”
REYNOLDS
“I don’t know, myself, but I hope Danny James and that fucking oversized tumor he calls his mentor are paying attention!”
Vincent Stone was thrown back into the ring where he began getting up again. Havok looked like he was setting up for some other crazy maneuver. To the shock of the crowd, he was, as the masked monster slingshotted himself into the ring, into a single front flip. As soon as he landed on his feet, he barreled forward and hit a stiff lariat on Vincent Stone, knocking the wind right out of him. A new maneuver that Jim Reynolds didn’t even have a name for yet as he didn’t know Havok was even planning it. As Stone reeled on the mat from the move, Havok bent down to pick him up and set him up on his shoulders, delivering the Disasterpiece, finally, for the pinfall.
Winner: Havok
Result: Pinfall

[NICO SALVATORE V. CHRIS WOLFE]
Nico Salvatore and Chris Wolfe put on one hell of a main event for the evening as both men relied heavily on their technical ability, spending the first good minute of the match just chain wrestling back and forth, trying to see who would slow things down first. It was evident that neither of them were willing to be that man until the both of them ended up in a face off afterward, approving of each other’s technique. Then came the strikes and grapples as each man vied to show that he was the better worker. Forearms and knees, back and forth, began wearing both Nico and Chris down but Nico kept showing that heightened aggression as he focused most of his strikes around Chris’ head.
This wasn’t going to keep Chris Wolfe down, however, as he was well familiar with the Urban Gladiator and knew how to scout Nico Salvatore’s more dangerous maneuvers. When Nico thought he had Chris where he wanted him, the Big Bad Wolfe managed to move out of the corner when Nico came in for a Key to Orkas. Nico stumbled back around, gingerly stepping on his leg just as Chris Wolfe stood ready and hit him with a superkick. Nico stumbled back into the corner and back out again, moving to the center of the ring as Chris Wolfe ran off the ropes and delivered a Slingblade. He wasted no time then, knowing he had better capitalize and lifted Nico Salvatore up to deliver the Direwolfe right in the center and got the pin.
Winner: Chris Wolfe
Result: Pinfall
Time: 27:29
