After the intro video and animations, the camera cuts backstage. We see Lana Corvin sitting in the Sedition Rising locker room. She is reclined back in a gaming-style chair with her feet on a table. She spins side to side slightly. She looks over into the camera and smirks.Lana Corvin: They say there ain’t no rest for the wicked. There isn’t any either when you’re the best wrestler in a company. Not only do I find out later tonight who will be coming after me and my title next, but in less than a week I have to face some fuckin weirdo at Funeral Derangements.
Lana scoffs.
Lana Corvin: This is going to be something interesting. I get to face this dude in my Father’s match type. It seems that it is meant to be that I cement my greatness in the same way my Father did. And when it’s all said and done. When we, NFW, get the bragging rights we rightfully deserve I want you all to come and thank those who gave you them.
That signature Corvin smirk reappears.
Lana Corvin: Sedition Rising. Otto, myself, and my cousin Rowena. We shall show you all exactly why we are the only group of people who matter in NFW. That without us none of you would be worth a damn. Without Sedition Rising you could consider this event the Swan Song for NFW. But fear not, we won’t let that happen. We will help carry this company on into the future.
Lana pauses.
Lana Corvin: Travis, Crystal, it doesn’t matter which one of you two wins tonight. Neither of you will take this title from me. But if I had to choose, I would want it to be Crystal. I owe you a beatin and a humiliation. Think about that when you step into that ring tonight. Can you handle getting embarrassed by me?
Lana gives a little finger wave before shooing the camera man away as the scene fades.

Aimihan was backstage on Trauma, a small frown on her face. She was still remembering her conversation with Tala from the evening before, and things hadn’t exactly gone her way. Of course, that had irritated Tala some which led Aimi to worry about if she was going to follow through on what she had said she’d do. The young wrestler had tried to avoid her cousin for the time being, but she knew she wouldn’t be able to for long considering Tala was her manager. Aimi was already in her ring gear and was heading down the hallway when she heard a voice calling for her, making her stop and close her eyes for a second, her frown growing some before she turned around to face Tala.Aimihan Divata: Hey, Tala…
Tala Divata: Don’t “Hey, Tala” me when I know you’ve been avoiding me since last night. You’re lucky Z called me after the show last night and talked to me, I hope you realize that.
Aimi let out a sigh that she didn’t realize she was holding in, thankful for Zara. She brushed some of her hair from her face and gave Tala a sheepish smile and small shrug.
Aimihan Divata: Okay…I know that was bad to do last night, but after what you said, you can’t really blame me! For Jack and the guys, how they handle things is fine. It’s their style, it works for them. It wouldn’t work for me, and we both know it! I’m just…I’m too nice and sweet, usually.
Tale rolled her eyes as she listened, but she had to admit that she agreed with what the younger woman was saying. She was too nice most of the time, and that was what worried her about Aimi being in the business. Being too nice would get most people eaten alive at one point or another.
Tala Divata: You have to show some damn backbone once in a while, Aimi. You’re nice to everyone, and Hell, you don’t even curse! I get you want to do things the right way, but show some fucking backbone or get eaten alive sooner or later. It’s really just that simple.
Aimi rolled her eyes at Tala’s dramatic attitude. The youngest Divata had been just fine being the way she was on the indy scene, so she didn’t see a need for a change. Of course, she knew that it wasn’t the indy scene anymore, but it was the same principle to her. She didn’t see a need to change then and didn’t see the need for it now.
Aimihan Divata: I’ll be fine, Tala. It’s not the first time I’ve been part of a wrestling company, after all. Now what do we know about Lawrence since that’s who I’ve got tonight.
Tala Divata: He’s been here for a bit, but he’s still pretty new to this overall. He’s gained some skills here and there, but I think you’ll be able to handle him easily.
Aimi nodded a little before she motioned for the two of them to head down the hall. It was going to be time for her match soon, so she wanted to get to guerilla and be there with a few minutes to spare if she was able to. The pair headed down the hall, talking quietly between the two of them. Whether it was about the match or something else, the cameras weren’t able to pick it up.

Match #2/Singles
Aimihan Divata vs. Lawrence Whittikar
Lawrence managed to get an unexpected early advantage with a running clothesline that connected firmly, dropping Aimihan to the mat. He quickly followed up with a knee drop, driving his knee into her shoulder as she tried to shake off the blow. Aimihan, however, responded swiftly, rolling away and rising to her feet with a determined glint in her eye. As Lawrence rushed toward her, she launched herself into a spinning heel kick, catching him square on the jaw and sending him stumbling backward. Not missing a beat, she sprang forward with a series of knife-edged chops that echoed throughout the arena, each hit pushing Lawrence closer to the ropes. As the pace intensified, Lawrence took a risky leap off the ropes with a springboard, attempting a high-flying corkscrew move. Aimihan countered with a perfectly timed dropkick, sending Lawrence crashing to the mat. Aimihan followed up with a headscissors takedown, flipping Lawrence over her shoulder in a dizzying arc. Just as she seemed to gain control, Lawrence quickly evaded a follow-up attack by slipping beneath her legs with a slick baseball slide. He seized the opening, catching her in Play the Mark, wrenching her arm back into a brutal wrist lock, adding torque to her fingers in a way that forced Aimihan to grit her teeth against the pain. The hold had the crowd on edge as Aimihan strained against the submission, using her flexibility to gradually twist and kick her way free.
The two wrestlers were visibly fatigued but determined, each knowing the next few moves could decide the match. Aimihan pulled herself up with the ropes, and as Lawrence moved in for another strike, she countered with Broken Hope, a spinning backfist that caught him off-guard and left him reeling. Sensing her chance, Aimihan climbed to the top and launched herself off the rope, performing a flawless Swanton Bomb, her finisher Supernova, crashing down onto Lawrence. The crowd erupted as Aimihan hooked his leg for the pin. The referee slid to the mat and began counting.

We cut to the backstage area and it is there where we are able to see Christina Caldwell Zdunich. The Winter Rose bounces around as she glares directly into the lens of the camera and begins to speak.Crystal Hilton: Tonight is a big night and to be honest this is everything I have been dreaming of. It was an honor to work as hard as I could in the VBMT and make it to the finals. Jordan Majors definitely had her feel good moment but even though her journey took that long to get to where she is at. That doesn’t mean my journey has to be as long. Tonight everything I could have ever wanted. Everything I was asking for could come true by winning one simple match. If I beat Travis Levitt I will be the number one contender for the NFW Championship and that in itself is a dream that I am definitely working as hard as I could to make come true.
Crystal looks deeper into the camera as she begins to speak some more.
Crystal Hilton: I have had my eyes on the NFW Championship for quite some time now and I am a true believer that the roads to get to one’s final destination are different for everyone. These past few weeks I have been pouring my heart out to the camera. I have been sharing my feelings and you know how long my journey has been to get to where I am going. It has been a long one but I am proud of what I have accomplished. Being US Champion is something that makes me smile but honestly it was setting me up for what’s going to happen tonight. It was all about building me for the future. The future where I can finally breakthrough and get to where I need to be. Travis I know you are good but honestly I feel like I want this more than anybody else. This is my journey and tonight I break into the NFW Championship scene. I wish you the best of luck. You certainly are going to need it.
With that Crystal seems focused as we go elsewhere.
