This series contains elements of a supernatural nature and will play a parody of the Judao-Christian faith. It is not meant to be mocking or subversive but simply done for a creative outlet.
You. Were. Warned.
There are also supernatural elements to this story now. Be warned of that in advance. The supernatural elements of this storyline were only hinted at before but asked by those who wanted this series for it to be added.
“The Pact” is a concept that kept Jesse’s original “Walk the Line” idea alive while honoring that none of them had these “abilities” five years ago to keep the original writer's concept alive.
I hope you enjoy it.
I give you Chapter 22!

Chapter 23
The Hijacking
Location: Somewhere in Wyoming
Date: August 10th
Time: 6:45 AM
The sunlight was shining in the window on the couple lying on the motel bed. The man’s big frame made the blonde lying on his chest seem tiny in comparison. One arm rested over her with a hand on her side and one of her bare legs peaked out of the sheets as it rested across his own.
The icy blue eyes of his family line slowly opened and Dean looked down at his wife with a gentle smile touching the very corners of his mouth. People could spread their lies but he knew. He could remember….well, not so much her but the way she made him feel. The way her smile touched him. The way it was like lightning at her touch. Everything about his wife was seared into his very soul.
And of course he remembered all the haters. All the talk about them. It was no surprise it didn’t stop and was rearing it’s ugly head now.
He knew he was right where he belonged.
Brushing the hair off her forehead Dean planted a kiss to the crown of her head. Peyton’s eyes fluttered open and a smile of her own appeared, but it was short lived as the door slammed open with a crash.
Standing in the doorway of the connecting room was Michael leaning heavily on his beautiful white oak cane. His cut short dirty blonde hair was a mess, and his clothing was lopsided showing he had rushed out of bed himself.
“Whatever it is, it can wait…” Dean groaned and ran his thumb down Peyton’s lip. “I was kind of hoping….”
“There is no time for that!” Michael snapped.
“There is always time for a beautiful woman, Michael.”
“The fucking rig was stolen.” A female voice snapped.
Dean looked over Michael’s shoulder to find Ashley Kenyon standing behind him.
“I have to head out soon to help finance this madness….” Ashley told him and looked from him to Peyton and back. “So…you’ll have to drag yourself away from your…’Bride’ to handle this.”
“But….It’s been weeks since w….” Peyton began.
“I don’t care.” Ashley snapped and a green and brown hued object sailed over Michael’s shoulder, hit Dean in the chest and fell onto his stomach.
The snake-scale mask.
“Do your fucking job.”
Ashley turned and stalked across Michael’s room. One of the reformed Demons pulled the door open and out she went. Outside on the balcony stood the radiant Danielle Bay. She glanced behind her from where she stood looking out at the morning sun.
“You seem chipper this morning.”
Ashley let out a snort and glanced behind her at the closed door.
“Let’s just say I am glad I am heading out for a few days tomorrow. This bullshit she is perpetrating on him? That she’s Jess? It makes me sick.”
Danielle looked over again, this time with a lifted brow.
“Didn’t realize you two had been close.”
Ashley let out a deep breath through her nose and leaned to the side on the railing.
“We weren’t. She was closer to Bethany.” Ashley answered. “But they were. And sooner or later he’s gonna remember, Dani and every day he thought he still had her? It’s gonna be like a knife to the heart. It will be a pain like he’s never known.”
“Ashley Kenyon…has a heart?”
There was a clear teasing tone in her voice as Danika said this and Ashley let out yet another breath through her nose, this time much more snort than the last, although when she answered it was with a smile.
“Fuck off Devil Bitch.” Ashley then sighed and shook her head. “He and I went to war together. I trust him. Hell, I like him and this may destroy him.”
“....I know….” Danika whispered with a fear of her own leaking into her voice. “I didn’t expect this…when I did what I did.”

Half a country away it was more or less the same story. The hulking figure known to his crew as simply “Atlas” was stretched out on the king size bed with a sheet covering him up to the waist and boy, did his dreadlocks take up the other half of the bed.
It had been an eventful night to say the least with celebrations between Amanda and Atlas, Cronos and Riley and the little nameless young man that Hyperion had brought back from the stash house.
Boy wanted a bag but didn’t have the cash. Hyperion told him that wasn’t an issue, that they could work something out…and that was all she wrote.
Riley knew that choice all too well.
Much like his counterpart across the country he was awoken suddenly, in this case it was by a stiff kick to the side of the bed.
Atlas sat bolt up in bed, the dreadlock slapping off his shoulders and chest from the sudden stop as he made it upright. What he saw however was much more pleasant than his counterpart. In this case it was the beautiful thicc blonde Amanda Stafford standing over him.
Amanda was already dressed for the day in a pair of tight blue jeans ripped at the thighs and a New Orleans Zombies top cut at the mid drift to made it look like someone had been chewing on it.
Atlas blinked at her and then looked at the clock sitting beside where his head had just been…
7:21 A.M.
…Atlas let out a groan and flopped back into bed.
“Girl you don’t lost your rabbit ass mind.” Atlas growled. “You know what time it is?”
“Get yo ass up.”
There was a definite southern drawl to her words when she spoke. Amanda was from the deep south and it showed. Atlas opened one eye and looked up at her.
“Girl, if you don’t take your ass out of here I’ma find me something to do wit you to occupy my time, Ya Heard?”
Amanda slowly arched her brow and planted a hand definitely on her hip.
“As fun as a rousing round of “Bounce the bunny” sounds? You got work to do Daddy.”
Unlike most cases Amanda only called him that when she was dangerous. When she was speaking to her King. This got Atlas’s attention as he leaned up on an elbow.
“The hell for? Orders filled Baby Girl.”
“They need you at the stash.” Amanda informed him. “Unless you wanted a hot truck sitting outside it waiting for the doors to be opened.”
“Oh fuck.” Atlas growled and threw the sheet back. “Crius is back already?!”
“Apparently he tipped the local scales guy to tell him when an empty one came by and he followed them to a rest stop just over the jersey line.”
Atlas was getting dressed as he listened to her. He just finished zipping up when she finished and looked back at her as he sat down to pull the boots on.
“And the idiot didn’t think to just bring it inside?”
“That’s your deal.” Amanda said with a shrug.
“Funny.” Atlas finally makes it to his feet and pulls a sleeveless shirt over the bulk that was his torso. “Love you.”
“You should.” Amanda shot back with a grin.
Amanda excused herself to go and find Riley while Atlas left in search of Crius. He had no sooner left the house than he saw the truck sitting on the corner and it was already starting to attract attention.
A soft curse let out under his breath and made a beeline for Crius. Crius was shorter than both Cronos and Atlas at 6’2 and less muscular but still heavily built. He was also the only Titan to spot an actual beard.
“Yo!” Atlas called out with a loud whistle. “The fuck you still doing out here?”
“You know we don’t take our keys on a lick.” Criuis answered.
“So go in and get ‘em mother fucka!”
“You here now.”
Atlas froze literally in the middle of the street at the audacity of that statement. The big man then crossed the rest of the distance between them in three large strides and took Crius by the back of the head and shoved his head toward the rolled up metal gate.
“We got ten years on the other side of that door mother fucka.” Atlas snarled. “You feelin me ‘omie?”
Crius reached around smacking Atlas’s hand off the back of his head and climbed back up into the truck as his larger fellow Titan moved around it to unlock the gate and shove it up. Crius pulls the truck inside and Atlas immediately pulls the gate back down.
Around the time the gate hit the ground the door to the side opened and Cronos and Hyperion walked in.
“Did yo dumb ass really wait for Trey to open the fuckin gate?” Hyperion called out to Crius as he was climbing from the cab of the truck. Crius raises an arm to offer Hyp a single finger salute while Hyp just laughs softly under his breath.
“Let’s open her up.” Cronos calls out as he rounds the rear of the truck.
Cronos and Crius both climb up, unlock the latch on the trailer of the truck and shoved the door up to reveal the empty trailer inside.
Only it wasn’t empty.
“What….the hell…” Crius whispered.
“..The fuck is this?” Cronos added.
Atlas and Hyperion climbed up to join their two brothers and soon all four of them were looking at a strange stone sarcophagus. The top was covered in jewels and other precious stones, including crystals. A large crack ran along the bottom left corner leaving a break in the seal.
“Da fuck you bring in here?”
Hyperion asked Crius who just shrugged.
“No idea man…We needed a truck and I grabbed one. According to the scales it was empty.”
“This shit look empty, bitch?” Atlas snapped.
“This shit looks like trouble….” Cronos answered.

It took a little under an hour before the two finally came out of the hotel to join the others in the parking lot. As Peyton crossed the threshold and didn’t move she was immediately thrust from the path of the walking giant in the mask.
Truth be told it was actually the one way that Danika knew that Dean knew….on some level….the truth. She knew Dean, probably better than he knew himself and she knew that he would never, ever have allowed The Sins to treat his former wife this way.
With disregard and force.
Dean would have never allowed it.
He would fight tooth and nail to defend her until the bitter end and as much as it pained her to admit it, Bayne knew it.
As the beast descended the stairs with the meek blonde walking behind him a car slowed to a stop in the parking lot. Silk and Shadow climbed from the back while Hana emerged from the passenger seat.
Hana reached Michael and slowly lowered her head in shame. The masked figure wasn’t having any of that however, A large hand laid on Michael’s shoulder and the three sets of eyes turned up into the penetrating set in the mask.
“What happened?” It demanded.
Shadow, Silk and Hana looked at one another then back up at it.
“We weighed in just inside the New York border and stopped at a rest stop just over the border. When we came out? The truck was gone.” Silk explained.
“No sign of demons.” Hana informed it.
“A regular everyday hijack then?” Michael asked.
Behind him the Sins let out the fainest little groan of annoyance and turned stalking away.
“I think I have an idea…let me make a call…”
“One more road to cross. One more risk to take. Got to live my life like it’s one more move to make.”
