This series contains elements of a supernatural nature and will play a parody of the Judao-Christian faith. It is not meant to be mocking or subversive but simply done for a creative outlet.
You. Were. Warned.
The supernatural elements of this storyline were not always present. “The Pact” is a concept that kept Jesse’s original “Walk the Line” idea alive while honoring that none of them had these “abilities” five years ago.
I hope you enjoy it.

She could almost hear them from where she sat overlooking the large estate that had once been her home. Jasmine, Mary, Abigail…and all the others whom she had always known she couldn’t count on.
Michael.
Danika.
…Dean…
She could almost hear them screaming in frustration and rage when they realized she, Lilith, and Lluvia were missing.
Morgan stood on the balcony of the little hotel looking out over the grounds of what had once been her home. The grand four-story building the family had come to call “The Castle lovingly.” A tall, thick concrete wall surrounded the grounds and from where she stood she could make out the small ragged-looking hounds that wandered the property.
A second figure joined her on the porch as Morgan stood in silence. The figure was smaller with light brown hair and a tiny figure.
Lil Mama.
“You good?” Lluvia asked.
Morgan never took her eyes off their home and simply shook her head.
“Not really….” She admitted. “But it needs t’be done. I won’t leave Bean there anotha day.”
“When do we leave?”
A third voice asked and they both turned to find the little blonde ‘Faerie’ standing in the doorway. Morgan turned her head back to the view of the Castle and drew in a deep breath.
“Tonight.”
And from the ground below them, a man watched them from the shadow of the side of the building. Watching.
Waiting.

An hour before on a plane heading back from their day jobs, The Collective were gathered together trying to find some semblance of where Morgan, Lilith, and Lluvia had gone. It didn’t take long considering the conversations over the last few weeks for them to realize where their three rogue members had gone.
Morgan was going for her cousin.
Jasmine broke away from the group to place a call to her brother. When she told him Morgan was missing and the consensus was that she was going after Jessie her brother's gruff damaged voice growled simply.
“We know.”
“And do you plan to just sit on your asses and let this happen?!”
She had demanded unable to keep the hints of irritation from her voice.
There was silence for a time and she thought maybe Morgan’s words had stung him deeper than she had anticipated before his growling reply came.
“John changed Michael’s mind. I assume you are heading that way?”
“Who the fuck is John?!” She paused and then answered. “...And yes. We had a layover in Salt Lake City anyway.”
“John’s one of the reformed Demons. The longest-tenured one after that fuck that changed sides a few years ago apparently.”
“....Tell him thank you.”
“Tell him yourself when you get there” Her brother growled. “He’s shadowing Morgan as we speak.”
There was silence for a time again and Jasmine wiped a tear from her cheek.
“You truly do care about Morgan?” She asked in that broken unsure voice of a little sister that just wanted to hear her older brother's reassurance.
“....I do.” Dean answered. “I couldn’t stop what It did to her mentor. I’ll be damned if I stand by and let something happen to her.”
“How soon can you get there?”
“Tomorrow morning at the earliest.”
“...Just….hurry, K?”

The front doors of the Castle opened with a single huge push and the pair of black vein-covered demons turned their attention to it as Josie Bridal appeared in the bright sunlight beyond the door. Josie didn’t bother speaking to them, her large frame however walking through the house and to the elevator door hidden in the wall beside the doorway to the kitchen.
No sooner had she stepped up to the wall than it seemed to split in opposite directions and reveal the suited form of Lord Lucifer standing statue still on the other side. His arms were folded behind the small of his back and his blonde hair styled back along his head.
“My Lord.”
“Has she sent word?” Lucifer demanded and walked from the elevator.
“Yes Sir.” Josie answered. “According to her report, it should begin within the next couple of hours.”
“And the seed about the room?” Lucifer asked.
“Planted Sir, though she couldn’t promise that it will bear fruit Sire.”
A smile touched the corners of the former Anton Crowley’s lips. A smile much the same as one that so many had seen on Michael Rivers once upon a time. A smile that tugged at only one side of his mouth.
“You do not understand these creatures as I do Abaddon.” He purred. “They are quite predictable really. One of my father's greatest failings was a lack of creativity.”
“You are sure?” Josie asked and Lucifer smiled again and nodded. “Should I evacuate that side of the house then?”
Lucifer looked over with a quizzical look on his face. It was nearly amused.
“Whatever for?” He asked.
He then began to walk away with his hands never unlocking from behind the small of his back.
“They are just Demons.”

Morgan, Lilith, and Lluvia decided to enter the property through the woods that made up the back half of the property owned by the Collective, or more accurately The Children now. This is of course where Lilith came in the most handy.
The girl slipped through the gaps in the trees at such a pace that it seemed a bit like she was dancing as if she knew every tree and bush in this place by name. The others did their best to stay close to Lily as they moved through the trees without a sound, thanks in large part to Morgan working with the two women all day. It wasn’t perfect, but it would have to do.
It took them half an hour to get through the trees and the house came into view. The trio paused there, mindful of the mammoth dogs that wandered the grounds. They crouched near the treeline for a full minute without anything four-legged coming into view before Morgan led them forward toward the rear door of the castle.
Near the door leading into the gym was a wooden lattice leading up to the second floor and the three began to climb in silence. Halfway up Lily sucked in a deep breath and Morgan paused in mid-climb to look down at the blonde woman who had her finger stuffed in her mouth. Lluvia, pulling up the rear looked past Lily and suppressed a giggle.
“Pricked herself on the flowers.”
Morgan flashed a little grin and then continued up. At the window on the second floor one by one they climbed up. Lluvia had no sooner disappeared across the windowsill when one of the large festering wound-covered black dogs came trotting around the corner of the house. It lowered its head to the ground where a single drop of blood lay and then lifted its muzzle to the lattice with a growl.
“Not yet.” A female voice said from somewhere nearby with a little insane giggle. “Soon.”
Inside the room, Morgan pulled an automatic weapon that had been slung over her back to her front, one of the many things she had learned from a time long since forgotten. Lluvia and Lily fell in behind her as the three of them snuck soundless from the room.
Having spent so many years here they all knew their way around. The door exited out into a hallway where Lily and Lluvia waited as Morgan moved to the door on their left stretching a small bit of wire from one side to the other. A small round item hung from its center where a second line was run from the item to the doorknob.
Together the three women turned and crept down the hallway and turned into the room that was once Morgan’s. She pushed the door open and a fidgety Jessie jumped and spun around. When she laid eyes on Morgan her mouth opened to shout but Morgan placed a single finger to her lips.
Shhh.
Jessie knew enough to know that this was it. This was her one chance, but there was something wrong here. They had been waiting for something all day. The vibe in the Castle was expectant. Even impatient.
Before Jessie could voice her concerns she was shuffled between Lily and Lluvia and the four made their way wordlessly to the doorway and out again. They turned heading away from where they came passing room after empty room.
They moved across the entire length of the house to the side where the kitchen, living room, and main door sat below a set of stairs leading down. As she turned to begin down the stairs Morgan peaked down only to find herself face to face with a face she never imagined she would see.
The face was painted with black and green paint but it was the Demon that had been with Michael and Dean.
“What’chu doin’ here?” Morgan hissed.
“Where is the gate release button?” The man snapped. “I’ve been looking everywhere and nearly caught twice.”
“Why do….”
Lilith began to ask but the man silenced her with a stern look.
“The others are coming and we need to let them….”
The entire hallway shook as on the far end of the hallway the door that the string had once been stretched across was gone and the door was ajar. One of the black-veined Demons was lying in a crumbled heap, black blood oozing from a dozen places in its torso.
“Morgan…..” Lluvia warned as they all heard the bellow of the hounds.
Morgan looked down at the reformed demon and then pulled a small square metal box, like a garage door opener from her pocket.
“They gonna have bigger issues in a minute. Everyone dahn tha stairs!”
“The button!” The man shouted.
“Bottom of the stairs, turn left….five doors down to your left!!” Lluvia shouted.
The five of them scurried down the stairs as the door that had once been boobie-trapped slammed open above them. They could hear the razor-sharp toenails on the stone floor and the shuffle of heavy humanoid feet with them. When they reached the button of the stairs four of them bolted for the front door while the former demon turned and followed Lluvia’s instructions.
When they reached the front door Morgan looked back at the house that had become her home, tears in her eyes. Lluvia and Lilith put their hands atop Morgan’s and together…the three of them…pressed down the button.
The force of the blast launched the four women from the doorway out into the driveway, but they were far enough away from the blast zone to avoid the worst of it.
The rest of the house wasn’t so lucky.
Two floors above them on the far side of the house was a large room built into what little space the huge bathroom didn’t already take. Connected to Morgan’s room by a biometric false wall. A horde of supplies from that life-long past. Ammo. Weapons.
Explosives.
When the button depressed the entire house shook as the fourth floor completely disappeared in a concussive blast of force, a fireball billowing into the air. Half the third floor disintegrated and parts of the first and second began to collapse from the impaired structural integrity.
Wet tears began to spill down Lluvia and Lilith’s eyes as they looked up at the now-burning building.
The place She had brought them all together in.
Their home.
There was no time to mourn. There was no time to think. It seemed like almost instantly they were everywhere. Hounds that seemed to walk out of the very darkness near the gate. Black-veined demons that sprung up from every direction. Morgan looked up in shock, unable to progress how they had gotten there in such numbers so quickly but she was hit from behind by what felt like a truck.
Morgan was thrown forward into the hard gravel and rolled to her back to see the hulking form of Josie walking toward her, backlit up by the burning house. Josie was pulling off each side of an open-fronted shirt revealing a smaller tank top underneath.
Morgan quickly raised the weapon in her hands and managed to squeeze off a couple of shots that missed Josie by inches before a big booted foot connected with the barrel sending it off target.
She could hear Lilith, Lluvia, and Jessie struggling as Morgan scooted backward in the debris-covered grass before the fight could truly commence however a voice stopped Josie cold.
“No.” The male voice called gently in a voice that carried even as quiet as it was.
Josie turned to find Lucifer walking toward them, unfastening his wrists' cufflinks.
“I have had enough of this little thing.” He told Abaddon.
Abaddon inclined her head to her god and stepped back out of Lucifer’s way. Grass and bits of glass crunched under his feet as he came to a stop at Morgan’s feet and looked down at her. He didn’t attack, simply watched as she looked over at the weapon lying beside her. Lucifer followed her gaze and then looked back with a smile.
“If you think you can get to it.” He purred.
Morgan licked her lips, pulled her legs under her to get to a kneeling position, and then launched for the firearm. When she came up to fire something hit her square in the back a second time. She hit the side of the building driving out bits of the foundation causing parts of it to collapse in on her pinning her in place.
She looked up, now trapped, and found Lucifer standing in the grass, his slicked-back blonde hair gently swaying in the late-night breeze.
“Stay….Now you can watch them die.”
Morgan’s jaw clenched but no matter how she moved the weight on her only seemed to push down harder. She watched as Lucifer turned his back to her and walked to where black-veined demons had Lily, Jessie, and Lluvia held down.
“NO!” Morgan shouted as memories of Maya began to play in her mind. “This has nothing to do with them! This is between you and me!”
“You did this Morgan.”
Lucifer purred and reached out to take Lily by the nape of her shirt. Lily stumbled forward from the force he used to pull her toward and collapsed to her hands and knees.
“Father always did have a soft spot for the Fae.” Lucifer said with disgust and then turned to look at Morgan. “The moment you stepped foot back in my city you brought them death.”
Much like Maya before her Lily began to squirm as Lucifer planted his foot on the side of her neck and began to squeeze down.
“LILY!” Morgan screamed, tears running down her face.
“I never blamed you.” A voice only Morgan could hear whispered. “You can stop this Morgan….”
Morgan looked around and saw only the laughing faces of the Demons, Lluvia, and Jessie crying and trying to get free, and beyond them….the gate still closed. That man should have gotten to it by now.
“HOW?!” Morgan demanded to the voice she heard. The voice of someone she lost. “Can’t you see how weak I truly am!? HUH?!”
“She needs you….like I did once.” The voice whispered.
Morgan heard Maya’s voice….or perhaps it was all in her head and ground her teeth together hard. She began to scream in rage and hatred, the debris above her running down…cutting into her arms, chest, and face as it shifted.
Lucifer shifted his attention back to Morgan with a lifted brow and watched as Morgan powered the terrible weight up. It was only a fracture of a second, but it was enough to get out from under it and leave it to collapse behind her. Morgan stood there panting and staring down at the ground….until her head came up slowly.
She launched herself at Lucifer, taking him across the jaw with one right hand, and then another with her left. Grabbing him behind the head she brought his head down and drove a knee up into his face, only to lay another right and left into him as he backpedaled. Each blow matched with a screamed word.
“DON’T. EVER. TOUCH. MY. FAERIE!”
As she went for a final punch her hand suddenly stopped dead. Lucifer’s face was downturned and slowly came up, A dark golden reddish blood running from his lip and nose. No sooner had her punch stopped than his head darted forward and slammed a headbutt into her mouth. Morgan staggered back in shock.
Her whole flurry hadn’t phased Lucifer at all.
“That’s adorable.”
And then the flurry came. Morgan tried to best to defend it but Lucifer was simply too fast. Too fast and too impossibly strong. Morgan tried to block blow after blow but there was only so much a body could take. Even a body as strong and well-trained as hers. After Lucifer yanked her body forward like a rag-doll and sent her end over end to land spine first on the concrete at the end of the flurry he planted his boot….this time on her throat.
“Nothing has changed,” Lucifer whispered. “Your species is still the meek cowards that always run crying for the hills. Now….you die.”
Morgan looked over to give Lily and Lluvia one final look and saw behind them the gate opening. There were no sirens yet, no help coming….yet but she saw the dozen people coming through the gate with the blonde man wearing the snake-scale charging out in front with his head down and eyes focused on Lucifer.
Eyes filled with murderous intent.
With Wrath.
Morgan slowly looked up at Lucifer and knew that her time had come. She closed her eyes and shouted, blood on her lips.
“KILL. THEM. ALL!”
"You stripped me of my pride. You made me feel so small, but you could never take my soul. I'm not the same girl you met so long ago...."
