Here is part of an RP I posted almost a decade ago when I was part of the Visionaries of Wrestling efed. It was a Fatal-Four-Way match for the Xcel Championship against three very talented writers. I was one of the challengers for the title and because of how talented the other writers were, I never expected to win the match. When I read the results and had seen that I had won the match, I found out from the fedhead that it was this dream sequence part of the RP that helped sway it in my favour.
So here is, Avatar: The Legend Of Stacy, hope you enjoy...
The scene re-opens to a place that I know I recognize but I’m struggling to work out exactly where it is, the houses all look the same with grey outer walls with green banners hanging from them with gold symbols and the rooves of the buildings seem to be of a triangular shape and are golden coloured, very Chinese looking. I also feel different, as if I’m not myself, am I dreaming? I need to find someone and figure out what the Hell is going on here but suddenly I’m interrupted by Tayla.
Tayla
There you are Stacy, we’ve been looking everywhere for you!
I look Tayla up and down in utter confusion, she’s dressed in a blue and white robe of some description, a pair of brown sandals and a blue necklace. Her hair is also dark brown and is tied up in a plaited ponytail along with a couple of hair loopies at the front.
Stacy
Tayla...why the Hell are you dressed like Katara from Avatar? And who’s we?
Tayla looks back at me with a similar look of confusion.
Tayla
Who’s Katara? And what do you mean we? I’m talking about me, Seifer, Rayne and Ryan of course...
Just then, Seifer Black, Ryan and Rayne Draven-Omega appear beside Tayla and Seifer has his hair tied into a small ponytail with the sides of his head completely shaven and is dressed in a blue and white sleeveless warrior kind of outfit along with a pair of dark blue fingerless gloves and a pair of brown boots, clearly he's meant to be Sokka. Ryan is dressed in a red and gold type of warrior robe outfit, is clean shaven and has an emo style black hair do with a large nasty scar covering his entire left eye, clearly I’m in some Avatar kind of dream and Ryan’s clearly meant to be Prince Zuko. Rayne is dressed in a gold and green warrior robe type outfit with no shoes and has a blank look in her eyes, she’s obviously blind because Rayne is clearly meant to be Toph.
Seifer
What’s wrong Stacy? We’re meant to be visiting the Earth King...
I knew I recognized this place! It’s Ba Sing Se, the capital of the Earth Kingdom! Wait a second, if Tayla’s Katara, Seifer’s Sokka, Rayne’s Toph and Ryan’s Zuko, then that must mean? I look down at my clothes and notice I’m wearing an orange and yellow coloured monk robe and I also notice blue arrows on the back of my hands. Oh fuck!
Stacy
Excuse me one moment whilst I quickly find a mirror...
I quickly race into the nearest house and get some strange looks from the residents there as I look into the mirror and see that I am completely bald and I have a large blue arrow on my forehead.
Stacy
AHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I fall over due to the shock, I know I’ve never been one to give a damn about the way I look but I don’t want to be bald! Tayla, Seifer, Ryan and Rayne rush into the house and Ryan and Seifer help me up to my feet as Tayla and Rayne apologize to the owners of the house for the intrusion before we all leave.
Ryan
What the Hell is wrong with you Stacy? You’re not having second thoughts about saving the world and once again bringing peace to the world are you?
Rayne
You better not be...you’re the Avatar and we need you...and you need to learn how to enter the Avatar state so you can defeat Fire Lord Knight!
Fire Lord Knight? As in Scott Knight?
Ryan
And we need to keep moving as well because I know fine well that my sister, Princess Lovecraft will be hot on our tails...
So Scott Knight and Mistress Lovecraft are Fire Lord Ozai and Princess Azula, go figure, they’re my biggest enemies here in VoW so it’s only fitting that they’re meant to be the biggest enemies of the Avatar. Tayla then approaches me and places her hand on my shoulder to comfort me.
Tayla
I know you’re scared Stacy, but I believe in you...now we need to find a place to hide Stefan...
Stacy
Stefan?
Seifer
Yeah, ya know...you’re flying bison...have you been drinking cactus juice today or something, you don’t seem to be all...ya know...there?
Stacy
Oh yeah of course, Stefan, how could I forget...I’m fine Seifer...just a bit tired that’s all.
Tayla
Maybe you should get some rest Stacy, we’ll find a hiding place for Stefan...
I nod before we all make our way into the place where we’re staying and I make my way to my room and lie down for a quick rest as the scene fades.
The scene re-opens as I’m suddenly awoken by Tayla, she’s still dressed as Katara so clearly I’ve just been woken up whilst still in this weird dream.
Tayla
We have to move...now!
I quickly get to my feet and grab my glider before rushing out of the building to meet with Tayla, Seifer, Ryan and Rayne.
Stacy
What’s going on?
Ryan
My sister’s found us...
Suddenly a blast of blue fire explodes beside us and sure enough, we see Princess Lovecraft dressed in the typical red and gold coloured Fire Nation warrior outfit. I shoot a blast of air as Rayne throws some large boulders, Tayla shoots some water and Ryan shoots some fireballs towards her, she avoids them all and shoots another blast of blue fire at us that just misses us.
Stacy
RUN!!!
We all begin to run away from Princess Lovecraft whilst Tayla, Ryan, Rayne and I continue shooting air, fire, earth and water towards her as she continues shooting blue fireballs back at us. We suddenly rush past a man pushing a large crate, full of cabbages and I recognize his face and suddenly stop, staring at him.
Stacy
Darius?
Suddenly one of Lovecraft’s fireballs hits the cabbage crate, destroying it completely which causes me to forget what I was doing and begin running again.
Darius
MY CABBAGES!!!
I quickly catch back up to my friends who have since stopped dead in their tracks.
Stacy
What’s going on?
Ryan
We’re in big trouble...
I look towards where they’re looking and see a man dressed in Fire Nation warrior clothing with grey hair with the traditional Fire Nation style stick up small ponytail with long grey sideburns, clearly whoever this is is meant to be Admiral Zhao. Standing beside him is a woman with long black hair dressed in a sleeveless black robe styled dress, a pair of black boots with black lipstick and a black whip in her right hand, clearly meant to be June, the bounty hunter.
Ryan
Admiral Carson!
So Brett Carson is playing the role of Admiral Zhao, another enemy of the Avatar, this should be interesting. He smirks sadistically towards Ryan.
Admiral Carson
Why am I not surprised to see the banished Prince of the Fire Nation, now helping the Avatar...so not only are you banished but you’re also a traitor to your own people!
He turns his attention to the bounty hunter.
Admiral Carson
Thank you for your help Vanessa...your bounty hunting skills are far superior than I thought.
So Vanessa’s the bounty hunter, June, that makes sense considering June was an enemy and a friend of the Avatar. With her unpredictability along with her alter ego, the Queen, it makes total sense.
Vanessa
Enough with the thanking and just give me my payment already...
Admiral Carson tosses a small pouch of money towards Vanessa who catches it and disappears. Carson then turns his attention back to my friends and I and chuckles.
Admiral Carson
Fire Lord Knight will be well and truly pleased to hear that I have found and captured the Avatar...
Seifer
Stacy isn’t going anywhere...we won’t allow it!
Admiral Carson
Oh really? Well I guess that would mean you’d have to say goodbye to your precious girlfriend...
Seifer’s jaw drops as a couple of Fire Nation guards bring forward a woman with short brown hair, dressed in a green armour of some description, her face painted white, her lips red as well as red and black paint around the eye region. This is clearly meant to be Suki, the leader of the Kyoshi warriors and Sokka’s girlfriend.
Seifer
Crystal! Let her go damn you!
Admiral Carson
I’ll let her go...if the Avatar comes with me...
I look over to Seifer who looks back at me with a solemn look on his face before I turn back to Admiral Carson.
Stacy
I’ll go with you...now release Crystal...
Suddenly before anything else can happen, a large white and brown six-legged bison drops from the sky in between us which stuns Admiral Carson and the Fire Nation guards, allowing Crystal to break free from their grasp and she runs into Seifer’s arms with an embrace.
Stacy
Come on! Everyone...get on Stefan!
Seifer, Crystal, Ryan, Rayne, Tayla and I quickly climb onto Stefan’s back and I take his reigns.
Stacy
Yip! Yip!
Stefan suddenly begins to fly through the air and we’re all safe from the clutches of both Admiral Carson and Princess Lovecraft. I have to say, in the television series, Appa is my favourite animal character because he’s so cute and cuddly, and no disrespect to Stefan but his face on Appa’s body looks more scary than cute.
Seifer
So then...what do we do now? I don’t know about you guys, but I’m starving...
Stacy
I need to speak to my past self...I need to get into the Avatar state...we need to go to Crescent Island.
After a few more hours of flying, we reach Crescent Island and thankfully we soon realize it’s deserted, it’s a good thing because it’s actually part of the Fire Nation.
Stacy
I need to find the shrine, you all stay here...I’ll be okay...
Tayla nods before I make my way towards the five tier Fire Temple and enter it, after a few moments searching around the place, I find the large door which leads towards where the shrine is. I take a deep breath and use five fire blasts to unlock the door and open it. I enter through the door and I see a statue of my Grandfather with long hair and a long beard and he’s dressed in a Fire Nation outfit. Before I can say a word, the statue’s eyes light up and so do mine as I enter the Avatar state which turns out to be looking a lot more real than normal, I’m dressed in my usual clothing and my Grandfather is how I remember him normally when I was a little girl.
Grandfather
My little princess...how much you’ve grown...
A feel a single tear fall down my cheek.
Stacy
Why am I having this weird dream Granddad?
Grandfather
So you could reach this very moment, so you could see me...
Stacy
But why?
Grandfather
Because my dear child, you’re still holding onto the past...you still blame yourself for the deaths of your friend Sharon, your parents...and your brother. Those things are holding you back from being able to achieve your full potential in VoW, this whole Avatar dream you’re having is because you’re a huge fan of the television show, it’s built into your sub-conscious hence why your dream turned out the way it did. But Stacy, only when you have left all of your past where it belongs...will you finally be able to achieve your full potential in your career, as a wrestler. You are destined to become one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, and I’m just helping you get there...let your past go Stacy, it’s the only way...
