Born in the timber town of Rigaud, Quebec, his parents owned a tree farm. Mathieu, while also balancing school, would work on the farm and grow an incredible strength. Watching old tapes of the Leduc Brothers from the 1970s, Mathieu got hooked on the sport and upon graduating high school, enrolled in a wrestling school outside Montreal where he met Johnny Guilbeault. Upon learning of their same wrestling upbringing decided to pay homage to the Leducs and created the team Les Osties de Bucherons. Over the last decade or so, they traveled the eastern parts of Canada and the USNorth East with their smash-mouth style of wrestling that got them popular. In 2019, they befriended another student of the school, Charles Beaulne, they affectionately call Ti-Poof to be their third man in trios matches, and to help them gain more notoriety in the US markets due to Beaulne’s ability to speak English.

As the chorus plays, L.O.D.B. practically explode out of the entrance way to a ruckus ovation. The two get up on the barricades to get the crowd on their feet, as Ti-Poof hops around, before hopping back off and continuing their entrance, slapping fans’ hands HARD due to their explosive nature and their excitement to fight. After walking around the ring and continuing to slap hands and occasionally diving over the barricades onto fans, the three men enter the ring by the stairs. Dupuis falls to his knees, hanging himself over the middle rope looking up the ramp, while Guilbeault kneels a knee on Dupuis’ back and yelling out at the fans to increase their frenzy. Ti-Poof stands back and applauds his charges. Guilbeault exits the ring as the two grabs folding chairs and watch their brother Dupuis in the ring.
