NFW Presents: SUDDEN DEATH IV - 07/29/2023!

Isabella Salvatore: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

Crowd: ONE FALL!!
The raucous opening lines of "Impression that I get" hits the system and there is a loud POP as Arley Kirk appears atop the Tron, black fuzzy LED angel wings on her back. Arley rips open a juice box and skolls it before slamming the empty carton on her forehead several times and getting another POP as she slides down to the ramp and makes her way down it, stopping for quick hugs and high fives and photos.

Isabella Salvatore: From Lake Fenton, MI. Weighing in at one hundred and seven pounds, this is "The suicide blonde", Arley Kirk!

Arley opens a juice box at ringside and gets a good laugh as a small child opens his mouth and she pours Apple juice into it and also gets a warm reaction from giving her angel wings to a girl around the same age. Arley finally jumps up onto the apron and launches over the top rope before she gets one final POP by running and leaping to the top rope, showing off her superb balance as she stands dead center and motions for the fans to get louder. Arley Kirk backflips down to the ring and strikes a determined fighting pose as her music fades.

Isabella Salvatore: And her opponent…
The lights begin to flicker, and fade out. Blood Soaked Hero begins playing, as the arena descends into darkness. A trail of fire starts at the top of the stage, and creeps down the ramp, a pair of eyes light up, at the top of the ramp, followed by a small circle. The circle points toward the arena lights, which shoot back to full illumination, a plume of steam erupts around the figure on the ramp, and snuffs out the flames. Once the steam subsides, Glitch can be seen, pointing her palm skyward. The mystery woman now makes her voyage toward the ring, doing some shadow boxing, as she closes the gap towards the ring.

Isabella Salvatore: Making her way to the ring, weighing in at 165lbs, from Beyond The Grid!! This is...CHERRY..."GLITCH"...BLACKMAN!!

Once at the bottom of the ramp, Glitch rolls into the ring, makes her way to the center, and drops to one knee. Her head swivels from side to side, nodding the whole time. Once content, she pulls herself to a stand, and moves for her corner.

Miranda Augustino: Listen to these fans!

Seth Ernst: They are right to be hotly anticipating this encounter.


The bell rings, and the crowd is still super ecstatic to see The Lucha Barbie back in an NFW ring. They’re chanting her name from the jump, and Cherry does NOT look pleased. While Kirk turns back to the fans, trying to pump them up even louder, Blackman comes in, grabs Arley around the waist, and launches her with a release German suplex!

Miranda Augustino: WOAH!

The crowd gasps as The Michigan Miracle hits the mat and rolls, hard, into the opposite corner. Boos rain down on Cherry as she makes her way over to her opponent, but she doesn’t seem phased as she grabs a handful of Kirk’s hair, dragging the woman to her feet despite the referee telling her to let go. She smirks at the official, pushing Arley back into the corner before hitting a jaw rattling European uppercut.

Seth Ernst: Vicious shot by Blackman! Hard to say if Kirk knows where she is at this point!

Cherry continues to press the assault, climbing up onto the second turnbuckle, a hand in Arley’s hair again. From here, the Walking Contradiction begins to rain punches down on the Angel Faced Assassin, the crowd counting along with each strike. The crowd counts along despite their loyalty to the returning Kirk, and Blackman gets to 8 before Arley suddenly slips out from underneath, grabbing Cherry by the ankle and yanking backwards. Blackman comes down, face first on the turnbuckle, and Kirk takes advantage of the minor pause in momentum to hit a Viper-style backbreaker!

Miranda Augustino: YUH GRRRL!

Seth Ernst: Will you stop?

The crowd cheers as Cherry goes down, but AK isn’t done yet, springboarding off the nearby rope into a moonsault! She hooks the leg!


Blackman roars, filled with rage at the sequence, easily throwing Arley off of her. Kirk doesn’t let it phase her, scrambling to her feet. She runs toward the rope, leaping to springboard off the middle rope, coming back for a crossbody but Cherry snatches her out of the air, whipping her around with the momentum of the leap to slam her down with a wicked powerslam! There’s an audible exhalation of air from the Angel Faced Assassin, but the Walking Contradiction doesn’t go for a pin. She gets to her feet with a grin, taking in the boos of the crowd, almost soaking them in as she drags Arley up to a knee. Blackman puts a hand on top of Kirk’s head, taking aim, before clinching a fist and driving a punch directly into the same spot she’d been hitting with the mounted punches earlier in the match!

Seth Ernst: Cherry Blackman seems to have a rather sinister goal here at Sudden Death!

Kirk drops, grabbing her face and kicking her legs with a sharp cry of pain. Cherry looks to pursue, but the referee gets between both women, waving her off as she pulls on the gloves. The camera zooms in on Arley, and it’s clear that shot busted the Lucha Barbie open! Blood is already running down her face as the official checks on her, but she scoots backwards into the corner, waving the referee off, indicating she’s good to continue the match.

Seth Ernst: We have ourselves a bleeder, folks! It seems to be a motif for Arley Kirk, if I'm not mistaken.

Miranda Augustino: Suicide Blonde, Papi. You ain't mistaken.

Arley drags herself to her feet, just in time for the Walking Contradiction to leap in with a big body splash! She throws the wounded woman out of the corner to the mat. Kirk rolls through the attempted toss though, back to her feet, and turns to face Blackman… only to walk straight into her opponent's grasp! Cherry unleashes her RAGE, clinching up and driving knee after knee after knee into Arley’s ribs before throwing her down and going for the cover!


Miranda Augustino: Kirk is still in this!

Seth Ernst: For how much longer, at this rate? Blackman is FURIOUS.

Cherry screams in frustration, slapping her hands together in the direction of the official. They shake their head, holding up two fingers. Blackman gets to her feet, screaming at the crowd as they chant for the Lucha Barbie to get back into this! Suddenly, Kirk kips up to her feet, face a bloodied mask, and she charges with a battle cry at her opponent, hitting multiple forearms, palm strikes, and chops! The Walking Contradiction is pushed back into the corner, but as Arley looks for a discus forearm, Cherry suddenly grabs her arm, yanking her in, but Kirk reverses, twisting in a dazzling display of athleticism, yanking Blackman down with a la magistral cradle!

Miranda Augustino: YO WAIT A MINUTE!

Miranda Augustino: WHAT AN UPSET!

Seth Ernst: Kirk pulled la magistral cradle pin on Blackman out of nowhere, and she got it!

The bell rings, and Arley is on her feet, arms raised as the crowd cheers! Blackman slams her hands down on the mat as the referee tries to reel in the Michigan Miracle to hold up her hand, but the Walking Contradiction isn’t done! The referee is pushed out of the way, and Arley is whipped around and pulled in close, only to get pulled into a fireman’s carry before Blackman executes the Circuit Breaker!

Seth Ernst: What a vicious move, and Arley is caught completely helpless. The crowd sure doesn't like it!

Kirk hits the mat, and Cherry continues her assault, taking the boots to Arley when suddenly almost every light in the arena goes out!

Miranda Augustino: OH NO! What NOW?

There’s just enough light to show Cherry looking around in the dark, trying to figure out what’s going on as Arley pulls herself to a seated position in the corner. Suddenly a spotlight hits the stage, white and blinding, a silhouette standing in the light. They hold their arms out, clearly a kendo stick in hand as music slowly begins to build.
“KARATE” by BABYMETAL suddenly drops, and a neon colored tiger roars, slashing its claws across the screen as the lights come up and the spotlight goes off to indeed reveal the woman who matches the words on the ‘Tron.

Miranda Augustino: NO FUCKING WAY!!! IT CAN'T BE!!

The crowd roars, the roof threatening to be blown off as the camera zooms out to show the words RISA LEMON, Arley Kirk’s former tag partner in Kawaii Trash Pandas Go!!! Comes sprinting down the ramp!

Miranda Augustino: Right when AK needs her the most, it's RISA! IT'S RISA LEMON! SUPER TIGER IS HERE!

Cherry’s look of confusion turns to one of fury! Arley looks as if she’s seen a ghost as the Diminutive Dynamo slides into the ring, immediately up to her feet to charge at Blackman! The Walking Contradiction swings for a clothesline, but Risa baseball slides between Cherry’s legs, kipping up to her feet as Blackman turns… directly into a kendo stick shot to the ribs! Arley is on her feet now, leaning back against the turnbuckle. Tiggy tosses the weapon aside, driving multiple strikes into Cherry’s chest and stomach! Blackman shoots in for a kick, but Risa cartwheels out of the way, turning to leap at the Walking Contradiction, spinning in the air to hit a 360 Codebreaker! Kirk is there, catching Cherry with a Viper Backbreaker, holding her in position as Risa comes back with a mushroom stomp to the chest!

Miranda Augustino: That's the BFP, PAPI!! KAWAII TRASH PANDAS GO are back in New Frontier Wrestling!

Blackman rolls out of the ring to the floor, clutching her chest, audibly cursing as Risa helps Arley to her feet. Kirk looks down at Risa, a grin growing on both women’s faces as Lemon holds out her hand! Arley looks at Risa’s hand, then at the Asian superstar. She slaps the hand aside and she puts out her fist. The crowd POP as Risa locks her fist against that of her best friend..

Risa Lemon: HAI GRRL!

Arley Kirk: YUH GRRL!

Both Trash Pandas step in for a tight, emotional embrace!! The crowd LAUGH as the two proceed to roll around the ring like a couple of overly excited dogs and seem to be trying to tackle and slam each other, rather than the affection that it is.

Miranda Augustino: AWWW! The ol' tackle hugs! You love to see it! I am pretty sure they are gonna hear about this in the comin' weeks but right now, welcome BACK, Risa!

The crowd roars its approval as both women raise each other’s hands, celebrating as the show moves on!

Isabella Salvatore: The following contest is a trios match, set for one fall and it is for the NFW Trios Championships!
As the lights in the arena begin to dim, Finished I Ain't by Ghostpoet begins to play through the arena as purple strobe lights shine from the stage and emerging from the back are Strike 2 Kill. Both men stand on the top of the entrance ramp with a look of ruthlessness about them, they look at each other, nodding heads and fist bumping, before making their way down to the ring. Lingering behind them is their Manager, Gregory Murphy, who has a slimy grin on his face as he swaggers down the entrance ramp after them.

Once they reach the edge of the ring, both men leap onto the apron and climbing onto the top ropes of either side of the nearest turnbuckles, posing for the fans who applaud in appreciation.
Hey by the Pixies begins to play through the speakers, emerging from the back is the Dragon's Curse - Takashi Shinobu, who wears a long robe as he stands on the top of the entrance ramp. He poses for a moment, soaking in the atmosphere as the fans applaud and cheer. Making his way down the entrance ramp, Shinobu is focused as he passes members of the crowd in the front row, who are all trying to get a touch as he passes through. He stands just on the outside of the ring, taking off his robe and throwing it aside, before running up the ring steps and entering the ring with a burst of energy. He climbs the top ropes, once again striking his signature posing before jumping down and stretching in the corner.

Isabella Salvatore: Introducing first, the challengers…at a combined weight of 574 lbs…Takashi Shinobu, Miles Watson, and Liam Richardson…HEROES! FOR! HIRE!
"Purest Momentum" by Gürschach plays. Jericho, Valereigh and Deedray walk out. They go down the ramp. They climb into the ring, standing in the middle. They all pose their different ways.

Isabella Salvatore: And their opponents, at a total combined weight of 451 lbs, yjr NFW Trios Champions… Jericho, Deedray and Valereigh… THE KERRY FAMILY!


The Kerry Family, all three, Deedray, Valereigh and Jericho, charge across the ring at the three Heroes 4 Hire, Watson, Richardson and Shinobu. The six start fighting and pair off into three sets of individual combatants. Deedray starts trading with Watsin, Valerigh starts trading with Richardson. Jericho starts trading with Shinobu. Watson steps into a Pele Kick that sends Deedray flying over into her sister. Valereigh tries to catch Deedray. Richardson drills both of them for a double clothesline into the ropes. The two go over the top and land on the apron. Watson runs over for a big dropkick. Deedray and Valereigh go flying off the edge of the ring and crash down against the barricade.

Crowd: OOOH!

Shinobu spins into a kick that puts Jericho up against the ropes and then spins into a discus lariat. The impact sends Jericho flying over the top so that he crashes next to his sisters against the barricade.

Crowd: OOOOOHHHHH!!!

Richardson climbs up the top turnbuckle and stands up. He nods, raising his arms high above his head and then jumps off into a plancha onto the Kerry Family.

Crowd: YEAH!!!

Shinobu runs across the ring to the far rops. He rebounds off just as Richardson rolls away from the Kerrys. Shinobu runs across the ring and dives between the middle and top rope head first. He crashes into the Kerry Family like a human torpedo being guided into place by a laser system that is set dead center on his targets.

Crowd: H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!! H4H!!!

Watson looks around and smirks as if the whole assembled mass of people knows something is coming. Shinobu rolls away and the Kerry Family all start to try and recover from the repeated impacts. Watson nods. He runs to the corner. He jumps up onto the middle rope, hops over to the top and then jumps into a corkscrew plancha. He plummets down onto the Kerry Family and crashes them down again, this time taking Jericho and Valereigh over the barricade into the front row.

Crowd: HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!!

Seth Ernst: The Heroes 4 Hire are showing up and showing out tonight!

Miranda Augustino: Showing the world they never should have lost.

Lucas Knox: Doing a hell of a job, though it’s not over yet.

Seth Ernst: They hit many more big shots like that, it might be.

Miranda Augustino: The Kerry Family didn’t become champions by not being able to take a punch!

Lucas Knox: They’re getting hit with a little more than a punch right now.

Watson pops to his feet and motions to his partners. Richardson and Shinobu move in and grab Deedray, throwing her back into the ring under the bottom rope. Watson springs up onto the barricade and then jumps across to the apron. He springs up into slingshots leg drop on Deedray. Watson cover.


Richardson and Shinobu dive back into the ring as well. Watson and Richardson get Deedray up and then hit a double atomic drop. She falls into Shinobu’s arms and he follows with a nasty belly to belly suplex. Shinobu rolls out of the way and Watson covers her.


Watson tags in Richardson and the two get the Strike Zone on Deedray. Deedray collapses to the mat and Richardson covers.


Seth Ernst: That was close! I don’t know how much more Deedray can take!

Miranda Augustino: Dios Mio, she is still fighting though!

Lucas Knox: Her family is depending on her right now.

Seth Ernst: They could always come help her too.

Miranda Augustino: That would definitely help.

Lucas Knox: Jericho and Valereigh had a number one on them so you gotta wonder what do they have left?

Richardson tags in Shinobu and they set her up. Shinobu hits a superkick. Richardson hits one to follow. Watson hits one as well. Shinobu follows with another and Deedray goes down like she’s been shot. Shinobu covers a Watson and Richardson step out.


Jericho jumps up into a forearm shots on both Watson and Richardson. This draws them back into the ring where the referee warns them both about an illegal triple team. Shinobu and Jericho trade shots until Jericho kicks Shinobu low.

Crowd: OOOOOHHHH!

Jericho grabs Deedray and drags her over to the Family corner and steps out onto the apron. The referee turns after putting Richardson and Watson out of the ring and watches as Jericho tags himself in. Jericho comes in and covers Shinobu.


Jericho pulls the Japanese competitor up and gets pulled down into an inside cradle.


Valereigh comes back over the barricade and pulls Watson and Richardson back. She drills both of them low from behind. Both men tumble to their knees on the floor. Valereigh runs Watson into the ringpost and he goes down hard. She turns and hits a big dropkick to the back on Richardson that sends him face first into the steps. Richardson goes down hard. Valereigh hurries over to her Family corner and steps up. Valereigh tags in and hits a leg sweep while Jericho hits a big clothesline from hell. Valereigh tags in Deedray who follows with a swanton bomb to finish off Family Forever. Deedray covers.

Lucas Knox: H4H thought they had it all going but they forgot all about the two they’d left in the front row.

"Big Flip" hits the sound system and plays throughout the arena as dark red, silver, and dark purple lights begin flashing throughout. As the lyrics start, Zara comes bounding out from backstage with Ollie standing behind her as the fans have a mixed reaction of cheers and jeers at the green-haired women. She takes her replica helmet off, with Ollie by her side as the lights followed them along the path down the ramp. As she passes by fans, she can be seen making mocking faces at the adults that jeer at her though chooses a random little kid to give the helmet to. She slid into the ring with ease, jumping to her feet as Ollie gets in the ring as well, hyping Zara up before the match starts.


Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;


A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.

He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, swaggering his way down.


At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring. He heads over to his designated corner and hoists himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.

Isabella Salvatore: Introducing first, the challenger…representing The Queens of Chaos…from Richmond, Virginia…weighing in at 131 lbs…Zara! Ivory!

And her opponent…representing Heroes For Hire…from Brooklyn, New York…weighing in at 230 lbs…he is the NFW Genesis Champion…Mark! Storm!


Ivory and Storm circle the ring around each other, both of them fired up and ready to go as this match begins! They eventually meet, deciding to show a bit of respect by shaking hands before they truly get into it! They shuffle around for a bit longer, before Storm eventually makes the first move by getting around Ivory for a Waistlock! Ivory struggles for a bit, but eventually perseveres, prying Storm’s hands apart before reeling him in for a Side Headlock! Storm now fights back, pushing Ivory back into the ropes before sending her off to the opposite side of the ring! Ivory hits the ropes, coming back to Storm hunched over and waiting for her! Ivory takes full advantage, sailing over Storm and taking him down with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb for the pin!

Kick out by Storm! He quickly takes his momentum back, grabbing Ivory by the legs and flipping onto her for a Jackknife Pin!

TWO…!

Ivory pushes up out of the pin, twisting the two around and getting Storm in position for a Backslide! She decides to catch the champion off guard however, turning around and clattering Storm in the back of the neck with a Forearm instead! Ivory looks to follow up, getting Storm up and looking for a Back Suplex! Storm reverses however, landing on his feet behind Ivory pushing her towards the ropes! He looks to pull her back in for an O’Connor Roll, only for Ivory to hook her arms on the top rope to send him to the mat alone! Ivory turns around, only to see that Storm has already rolled back to his feet, catching up with Ivory with a Knee Strike against the ropes! Storm pushes Ivory to the canvas, before stepping up to the second rope and dropping right into Ivory chest with an Elbow Drop! Pin by Storm!

Kick out by Ivory! Storm decides to finish this one off, looking to get Ivory up for his signature Tombstone Piledriver! But Ivory slips over Storm’s shoulder, pushing him away before going for the ropes! She comes back, looking for Team of Misfits! But Storm jumps over the Spear attempt by Ivory sending her flying to the mat! Ivory attempts to get to her feet, only to be caught by a Bicycle Knee Strike from Storm! He looks to follow up, hitting the ropes and going for a second Knee Strike to complete One For All! But Ivory is able to get out of the way in time, with Storm moving straight past her! Before he has a chance to regain his bearings, Ivory is already back on him, jumping onto his shoulders from behind and planting him on the top of his head with a Poisonrana! Storm is out of it, rolling under the bottom rope to ringside as the referee starts the ten count!

Ivory tries to leave the ring to go after the champion, realizing a countout victory won’t net her the title and that time is of the essence! The official doesn’t allow her to do this however, attempting to at least keep one of the competitors inside the ring still! Ivory doesn’t have the patience for that however, instead hitting the ropes and launching herself out of the ring with a Suicide Dive to Storm! Ivory is pumped now, getting the crowd amped up along with her as pulls Storm to his feet and throws him back into the ring! She gets to the top rope now, looking to land on top of Storm with a Diving Moonsault! She goes for the move, only for Storm to roll out of the way! Ivory has this scouted, landing on her feet off the move before looking to recover quickly with a second Moonsault! This time however, Storm gets his knees up, planting them in Ivory’s midsection! He quickly pivots, wrapping Ivory up in an Inside Cradle Pin!

Kick out by Ivory! Storm looks to end this one, waiting for Ivory to make it to her feet before looking for the Storm Search! Ivory doesn’t let him finish the Springboard Cutter however, catching him out of midair before planting him with In A Daze! Tiger Suplex connects! Ivory with the pin!

Kick out by Storm! Ivory looks to put an end to this now, getting to the top rope and waiting for Storm to make it to his feet! She leaps off, looking for Obliteration! But Storm is now the one able to catch Ivory out of midair, quickly pivoting to get Ivory in position for Incursio! He drops her for the Inverted GTS, only for Ivory to catch his leg on the way down! She picks the other leg to send Storm to the mat, before going for a Jackknife Pin!

Kick out by Storm! The two make it to their feet at the same time, with Ivory rushing over to catch Storm off guard! Storm side steps her however, sending her into the ropes! Ivory comes back, looking to catch Storm with Team of Misfits! But Storm catches Ivory out of the Spear attempt, dropping her with a Cutter! Ivory tries her damnedest to make it up to her feet, only for Storm to jump to the second rope and nail her with a Storm Search! Springboard Cutter by Storm! He goes for the pin!

TWO…!

Kick out by Ivory! Storm has this one in his back pocket, getting Ivory in position for Heroes End! But Ivory is able to retaliate, sending a set of Elbows down to the champion’s head before he can hit the Electric Chair Driver! Ivory gets down from Storm’s shoulders, hitting the ropes before finally connecting with Team of Misfits! Spear by Ivory! She isn’t finished yet however, slowly climbing to the top rope and landing on Storm with Violence Causes Silence! Frog Splash by Ivory! She goes for the pin, she’s about to win this!

…

Or so we thought! The referee doesn’t drop down to count the pin, instead being occupied as Simple Simon is now at ringside! Ivory looks up to see what’s happening, outraged by the fact that Simple Simon has made it so she isn’t the Genesis Champion right now! Just then however, she notices that Bianca Davis has made her way onto the ring apron, attempting to dispatch her before she can cause any trouble! Davis dodges a swing by Ivory, before spraying a cloud of hair spray right into her eyes! She quickly leaves ringside, her work here being done as Ivory scrambles to regain her vision! Just then, Storm takes advantage, rolling Ivory up for a the pin!

Isabella Salvatore: The winner of this match…and STILL NFW GENESIS CHAMPION…MARK! STORM!

Seth Ernst: How low can Bianca Davis get?! I mean, not only costing Zara Ivory the Genesis Championship here, but to also interject on an otherwise stellar match!

Miranda Augustino: It looks like the issues between Ivory and Davis are far from over!

Bianca Davis continues to taunt Ivory in the crowd, as Storm raises his Genesis Championship in victory!

Isabella Salvatore: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Isabella Salvatore: And it is for the NFW United States Championship!

“Can’t Be Touched” by Roy Jones Jr. comes on over the PA and the screen high above the stage shows the stretched out frame of The Titan with his back to the screen in his "Atlas" pose then pans down to reveal the actual Titan himself standing in that exact pose on the stage.

Isabella Salvatore: Introducing first, the challenger! From New York, New York! Weighing in at 345lbs! He is The Titan…ATLAS!!!

Trey turns around slowly, his dreadlocks flipping over his shoulder from the force of the turn and he rips the shirt he was wearing down the middle and spreads his arms again with a self satisfied grin. He begins to make his way down the ramp and steps up onto the apron from the floor then steps over the top rope and moves to the center of the ring where he drops to a knee and holds his arms into the air as if he were holding up the whole NFW world.The arena lights slowly fade out. Throughout the arena cell phone lights sporadically pop up in the darkness. The arena was suddenly filled with the loud cawing of a single crow. After a few moments, it was joined by another. Then more and more join in. Before long the arena was filled with the sound of cawing crows. The cawing was replaced with a multitude of beating wings. The sound of a large group of birds flying rises to a peak and then slowly fades out. Once again in silence, the arena is filled with the voice of a young girl.



Then Stabbing Westward’s cover of “Burn” starts to play throughout the arena. A spotlight finds Lana Corvin standing at the top of the ramp. Her head is down hiding her face. She throws her head back and her arms out. As she does the arena lights snap back on. Lana stands there with her head back just reveling in the negative reaction from the crowd. Slowly she lowers her head and looks right into the camera with a smirk. She points at herself arrogantly. Her gear tonight was black, white, and gold. She strolled down the ramp like she owned the place. She even heckles the occasional fan.


Isabella Salvatore: His opponent! From Representing Legacies! Los Angeles, California! Weighing in at 168lbs! She is the NFW United States Champion! LANA…CORVIN!!

She starts to strut her way toward the ring as the lights raise and the song continues. She talks some smack with some of the more vocal and heckling members of the crowd. She returns all of their verbal jabs as only one of the Corvins can. She continues her mocking of the crowd by pointing to herself and then to the crowd in sync with the lyrics. She climbs the ring steps and then into the ring. She circles around glaring out at the crowd and talking more trash. She then runs to one set up the ropes and stands up on them raising an arm high. She jumps down and moves to her corner to wait for the match to start.

Seth Ernst: Here we are, ladies and gentlemen. This match came off rather short notice as of last week but what a hell of an altercation these two have had over the past few!

Miranda Augustino: You ain’t kidding!! The heat between these two went from cold to scorching hot real quick!!

Lucas Knox: Atlas earned this match wrestling on a freshly injured knee and defeating the champion to gain this shot. You have to imagine he’s feeling closer to 100% by now. The champion’s reign may very well be in trouble tonight!

In, what’s almost a flashback of last week, Atlas and Lana Corvin come out of their corners, taunting each other. Corvin motions to the knee she spent a good portion of last Saturday working over, taunting Atlas on how he’s doing. Asking him how he’s able to carry that big ass ego of his. Atlas responds with motioning the weight of the world on his shoulders, then brings his hands back down to two middle fingers right in the champion’s face. He blows a little kiss at her which gets the crowd laughing but Corvin’s having none of it and she slaps his hands out of the way. They start to step in at each other but the referee keeps them separate. Corvin gets in the face of Senior Official Yumi Akiyama and taunts her but Referee Akiyama just flashes her shirt and forces Corvin back into her corner before checking that both are ready and having the bell rung.


Corvin immediately explodes out of her corner and leaps at Atlas with a flying body splash, knocking him back into the corner where she starts firing off with right hand after right hand. She switches to kicks to the midsection, trying to stomp Atlas down from a vertical base but Atlas manages to stay up and he finally grabs Corvin by the shoulders and just muscles her around into the corner he’s in. He cocks his hand back to slug her once real good but he stops as Corvin braces for the punch. Atlas shakes his head, not about to just cold cock a woman and he pats her on the head, backing up as the referee orders him out of the corner. Infuriated by the pat to the head, Corvin rushes out at him with a big boot but Atlas catches her by the foot. He does a quick take between her foot and her, realizing she was actually going for a borderline low blow before dropping her foot, grabbing her by the head in his hands and just ragdolls her across the ring, bouncing her off of the mat. Corvin springs up from the impact and falls back into the opposite corner. Atlas comes rushing in and leaves the mat, leaping at her for a jumping back elbow but Corvin rolls out of the corner, juking past him and Atlas slams against the turnbuckle again. Corvin pops up to her feet, comes charging in, and Atlas explodes out of the corner, leveling her with a lariat that sends her inside out, flipping backwards and eating the mat face first. Atlas rolls her over into a cover.


Seth Ernst: Not gonna get a count that easy, big guy.

Miranda Augustino: Not on the United States Champion!

Lucas Knox: Atlas is definitely bringing the heat tonight, though!

Atlas gets up and stands over Corvin who looks like she didn’t expect this level of difficulty. Atlas motions for her to rise.

Atlas: C’mon. Get yo ass up, girl!

Corvin does and she bows up to the big man; the challenger egging her on to do something. The champion obliges him, blasting him in the face with a forearm that snaps his head to the side.

Atlas: Oh c’mon now, you can do better than that! HIT ME!

Corvin sneers and blasts him again. This time the crowd can hear the dull smack of the impact as Atlas winces but looks right back at Corvin.

Atlas: YEEEEEAAAAAHH!!!!!! Lemme show you how to do this shit!

Atlas fires off with a forearm of his own, rocking Corvin. She fires back with another. Atlas wavers and delivers another. Corvin staggers back then throws her weight into the next one. Atlas eats it and spits it right back at her. Corvin fires it right back and Atlas returns it. The two start firing off with forearms back and forth. Eventually, Atlas nails Corvin and she comes back with a kick to the midsection, staggering him. She runs off the ropes and comes back like a bat out of hell but Atlas pops her into the air, catches her and spins out into a sitout powerbomb, driving her into the mat!!


Corvin kicks out and rolls away, out onto the apron to grab a breather. Atlas goes for her but the referee stops him and calls for Corvin to get back inside the ring. The champion regains her footing out on the apron and Atlas moves back in, grabbing her by the throat, looking for “The Dreadnought” but Corvin reaches up and grabs him by the hair, pulling at his locks. The referee calls for them to both break their grips and they do once she reaches 4 but Atlas comes charging right back in. This time, he looks for a Big Boot to kick Corvin off the apron but she moves out of the way, causing Atlas right leg to get hung over the rope. She grabs him around the calf and shin and just drops down, hangmanning his hamstring over the rope. Atlas grabs his knee and staggers back to the mat, clutching his leg in pain.

Seth Ernst: Lana Corvin remembers that knee from last week!

Lucas Knox: Yeah, the one she viciously targeted after she realized she wasn’t gonna win the squat contest!

Miranda Augustino: Hey, Atlas was struggling too!

Corvin climbs up onto the top turnbuckle as Atlas nurses his leg and comes soaring off with a 450 Splash right across his torso! She hooks his right leg for the pin to add more pain to the cover!


Atlas manages to shove her off and away from him but Corvin gets back to her feet and goes right for his knee again. She steps around and, just like the previous week, throws on a Figure Four Leglock. Corvin arches up her hips, getting it locked in right in the center of the ring, adding more pressure to the hold. Atlas yells out in pain as Corvin drops her hips and quickly raises them back up again, applying more sudden pressure on that knee. He reaches for the ropes but can’t quite get to them.

Lana Corvin: C’mon, big man!!! You’re so fucking bad?! Show me what a Titan can do!!!

She thrusts her hips up again, eliciting another yell from Atlas. He grimaces in agony before looking at her with an enraged expression and starts crab walking back across the ring on his elbows, literally starting to drag Corvin, making her move her hands with him. Corvin goes wide eyed at the display of strength and starts shaking her head frantically before Atlas reaches out and grabs the rope. Referee Akiyama calls for the break but Corvin tries crawling back to drag Atlas away from the ropes to no avail. Akiyama starts counting.


Corvin lets Atlas out of the Figure Four and rolls back up to her feet. She immediately grabs him up and moves him to the center, tucking his head under her legs and hooking his arms. “Glorifier”?!?! Ye–NO! Atlas, with his arms trapped, lifts him and back body drops Corvin onto the mat before immediately staggering forward and falling against the middle rope. Corvin picks herself up and sees Atlas’ positioning. She grins maliciously, charging across the ring and goes for a Tiger Feint Kick! She gets it! Atlas falls to the mat! Corvin climbs to the top turnbuckle again and goes for a Shooting Star Press but Atlas rolls out of the way and Corvin eats the canvas with a thundering thud! Atlas gets up to his feet, back into a corner as Corvin starts making her way back up, shaking out the stars. He starts calling for “The Bane”!

Seth Ernst: Atlas is calling for the devastating flying big boot! This could do it!

Lucas Knox: It knocked her for a loop last week and opened the door for him to earn this match tonight!

Miranda Augustino: We could have a new champion!

Corvin gets to her feet, staggering around, dizzy still and Atlas comes running out of the corner but his right leg gives out and he drops down to it again. Corvin seizes the opportunity and rushes in with an STO that drills him into the mat again! This time, she throws her legs around for the Koji Clutch! Corvin wrenches back with it, applying pressure and Atlas is too far away from the ropes. He starts kicking his right leg to get some feeling back in as the Official asks him if he wants to tap out. He shakes his head and continues to fight against it, eventually managing to get his knees up underneath him, then his feet as he grabs onto Corvin. Atlas gets vertical as Corvin’s body slumps down but he pushes her back up, being careful on his right leg as he presses her up high over his head.

Crowd: WHOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Atlas drops Corvin onto his left shoulder and slams her into the mat with “Atlas’ Might” (Military Press Powerslam)!!!! He covers!!!


CORVIN KICKS OUT!!! Atlas falls back onto his backside, in utter disbelief. Corvin lays there, staring up at the lights. Atlas fights his way up to his feet and calls for the end before grabbing Corvin’s legs and lifting her up onto his shoulders for a powerbomb! He plants her down!!!! One!!! He holds on and lifts her up again before driving her down a second time!! Two!!! He lifts her up again, looking for the trifecta known as the “World Breaker” but before he can Jacknife Corvin off of him, she grabs him around the back of the head and he sags down. Corvin tugs at his dreads again, earning the ire of Referee Akiyama again but Atlas powers her back up again, determined to send her straight to the underworld with that third powerbomb! He looks for the Jackknife and for a split second, it looks like he’s got it but Corvin catches him around the head and spikes him into the mat with a DDT!!!!!! Corvin rolls back and leans against the ropes, sitting on the mat as Atlas starts fumbling to find his way up. She can’t believe he’s still able to even move after that one. She grits her teeth and shakes her head as she pulls herself up. Corvin pushes off the ropes and just rocks Atlas with “Murder Flight” (Vicious Running Lariat)!!!! The impact and velocity takes her down as well and she pulls herself up on the ropes, screaming in defiance at the crowd. She turns around to see Atlas picking himself up again, albeit slower. Corvin looks to be in disbelief again as she stands back in the corner, growling. Atlas gets up, turns and slumps once more and Corvin comes running out, crashing into him with another “Murder Flight!” She covers him and hooks the leg again! Throwing one hand up and shouting with the referee’s count.

ATLAS KICKS OUT AND CHICAGO EXPLODES WITH A THUNDEROUS ROAR FROM THE CROWD!!!!! Corvin sits up in disbelief, holding up three to Referee Akiyama who confirms only two. Corvin argues, however and starts getting in the woman’s face, shoving three fingers in her face. The two continue arguing and Corvin grabs the referee by the shirt, bullying her back into the corner, screaming about how she’s trying to cheat her. Akiyama smacks Corvin’s hands off and SHOVES her away from her, clearly yelling out…

Referee Akiyama: DON’T FUCKING TOUCH ME!!

Corvin sticks a middle finger out towards her–

Lana Corvin: FUCK YOU, YOU STUPID BITCH!!!

–and turns around right into “THE BANE” (LEAPING BIG BOOT) BY ATLAS!!!! Corvin hits the mat like a sack of bricks at Atlas goes down beside her, grabbing his right leg he used to do the kick and smacks his knee to get the throbbing out. Corvin’s laying there, out like a light. Atlas crawls over and folds Corvin over himself for a cover!!!!


Corvin’s hand shoots out and grabs the bottom rope nearby!!!! Atlas sits up, grabbing his head in despair as the crowd goes nuts. Some booing, some cheering simply because what a damn fight this is!! Atlas gets up again and grabs Corvin by the throat, picking her up to her feet. As the referee warns him about choking, Atlas goes for “The Dreadnought” (Chokeslam To The Floor) but Corvin manages to slip his grip and land behind him. She immediately seizes the moment and throws a low superkick into the back of his right leg again! Atlas drops to a knee! Corvin runs the ropes and delivers a modified Tiger Feint Kick, coming back through the ropes to kick Atlas in the shoulder and head and knock him away from the ropes. She continues to waste no time and goes for the corner. She grabs the top ropes and hops up, once, twice, delivering “Goddess’ Favor” (Double Jump Moonsault) but she positions it so that she lands right across Atlas’ legs!!!!

Miranda Augustino: DIOS MIO!!!! Y’all see that shit?!

Lucas Knox: I’m not sure if that was intentional or what but that had to hurt!!

Seth Ernst: Right across the knees of Atlas but not in the manner most people in his position intend on!

Clutching her ribs from the impact, Corvin gets to her feet and she grabs Atlas by the legs, throwing on an Indian Deathlock, putting herself between him and the ropes with him nowhere near any of them! Atlas yells out in pain as Corvin arches her hips up again, screaming with him. Atlas in pain. Corvin in rage and desperation.

Lana Corvin: TAP!!!! TAP MOTHERFUCKER!!!!

Atlas: FUCK YOU, BITCH!!

Lana Corvin: NAH, FUCK YOU!!!

She arches her hips up again and Atlas roars out in pain once more but he refuses to give up. After a moment, Corvin lowers her hips and carefully stands up with their feet still intertwined. She leans down and throws two middle fingers down at Atlas before throwing herself back and, using all of her might, rolls them both over onto their stomachs, transitioning into an older school variation of the Indian Deathlock. She plants her hands, arching her hips into the mat and applies the pressure again. Atlas roars out in even more pain, reaching for the ropes. He reaches…he reaches…he reaches…he starts slapping his hand against the mat!!

Seth Ernst: Once again, Lana Corvin conquers a mighty threat to her reign!!

Lana Corvin doesn’t so much release the hold on Atlas, so much as she too collapses to the mat and her legs go lax, allowing the referee to unwrap their legs from each other. The referee retrieves the United States Championship from ringside and comes in, laying it over Corvin’s chest who immediately puts a possessive arm over it and rolls away from the challenger and the official. She pulls herself up on the ropes, holding her title up as Atlas rolls out of the ring to make his way backstage. Corvin stumbles away from the ropes and sticks her arm out to the referee, demanding she raise her arm. Almost begrudgingly, the Senior Official does her job and raises Corvin’s arm only for the champion to yank it away a second later and shove the title in her face, continuing to gloat before she climbs the turnbuckle and gloats to the fans. As “Burn” by Stabbing Westward plays, Legacies members Jamie Austin, Adrianna Salvatore and Otto Nova come down to the ring to congratulate the retaining champion. Salvatore and Nova lift Corvin up onto their shoulders.

Seth Ernst: Hell of a match, either way you look at it.

Lucas Knox: I gotta agree with you there.

Miranda Augustino: There’s no denying that Lana Corvin is a dominant champion and we may very well see another champion in Legacies here shortly!

As Miranda says this, a camera cuts to the inside of the pyramid. Standing on her level, looking out through the glass, Alexandra Calaway applauds her friend. With that match up next, Corvin and the rest of Legacies look up through the glass of the pyramid and point to Calaway. Calaway points back at them with both fingers before they disperse from the ring and start heading towards the back.

Isabella Salvatore: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your Main Event of the evening…and it is…THE GUARDIANS OF THE PYRAMID MATCH!!!!!

Isabella Salvatore: The first two competitors will enter the ring as normal, stepping inside the Pyramid structure behind me. Throughout the Pyramid await the other five competitors, in their appropriate positions according to their Beat The Clock Challenge results. Each separate round will have a different stipulation designated by the competitor waiting in each ring. There are seven competitors. Six rounds total. When a competitor wins a round, they will progress higher into the Pyramid to challenge the next opponent until someone reaches the final ring at the top. The competitor who is victorious in the final round will be determined the winner and will leave Sudden Death IV as the NEW FRONTIER WRESTLING CHAMPION!!!!!

Seth Ernst: There you have the breakdown of the match, ladies and gentlemen!

Miranda Augustino: This is the vision for this match that former General Manager, Isabella Santiago had when she incorporated this type of contest, y’all. I hope she’s watching at home and I hope she’s in awe at what we’re seeing because I sure am!!

Lucas Knox: I think we all are, Mir. Look at this structure!! That is tons of glass and steel from bottom to top! Holding six rings inside! One has to wonder if something like this can contain what’s gonna happen within its walls!

Isabella Salvatore: Now, introducing the first two competitors…


All of a sudden we can see photographers lining up in front of the entrance aisle. The lights begin to flicker and a red carpet is rolled down to the ring. We can see an old school Hollywood countdown landing on the screen


It is at that moment that the lights begin to go really crazy and we are able to see a blue haired beauty emerging through the curtains to the sound of massive cheers from the audience. She isn't alone as she is accompanied by a tall blonde. The blue haired vixen does a twirl and lifts her arms high into the air before her wife Seleana Zdunich wraps her arms around Crystal and smiles at everybody. The two excitedly walk their way to the ring as the crowd roars at these two ladies

Isabella Salvatore: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring being accompanied by her wife Seleana Zdunich. She stands at 5'5 and weighs in at 115 pounds. Hailing from Los Angeles, California by way of Detroit Michigan she is the Countess of Cosplay, the Hollywood Heroine, and the Burning Rose... Give it up for Crystal Zdunich-Hiltonl!!!!

The crowd roars as they chant CZC over and over.


Crystal smiles as she looks into the cameras and screams at the top of her lungs. "FLAME ON!!!"

Flame pyros begin to go off which causes the crowd to erupt into louder cheers. Tonight Crystal's attire appears to be a green one piece Poison Ivy cosplay that shows off plenty of body. She wears matching red boots and red elbow pads to portray the image of being a plant. Seleana stands firmly at her side her long blonde hair wrapped into pigtails. She is clad in a black and red one piece and is doing her best with her Harley Quinn Cosplay. Seleana carries a huge black and red rubber mallet. The two women smile as she stop and slap the outstretched hands of the fans cheering them on. The photographers just snap photos of the couple as Crystal screams out of excitement for the attention that she is getting.

She blows kisses as she continues her way to the ring. She stops at the ring and quickly jumps onto the apron as Seleana takes her place at ringside. Crystal looks around before she does a jumping split to enter the ring. She pops back up to her feet and nods her head as the fans get behind her with more CZC chants. Crystal bounces around a bit as she waits for the match to begin as Seleana claps excitedly for her wife.



Pyros hit as Videos of bustling crowds in various locations of New Orleans appear on the tron as the dark and melodic tones of the intro "Voodoo" by Godsmack blasts on the P.A. system. Tanja comes out onto the top of the ramp in a style compared to Gail Kim during her early time in TNA before heading down the ramp with some of her black leather coat flows at her feet while the mix of boos and jeers and cheers from the crowd fills the arena. She slaps hands with a few fans at ringside before she reaches the bottom of the ramp.


Isabella Salvatore: Coming to the ring hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana; she is the Bayou Witch, Tanja Devereaux.


Tanja walk up towards the ring and enters via under the bottom rope and jumps onto the middle turnbuckle. She poses as she does her usual taunt with a hand and arm in the air as "Daughters of Darkness" continues to play. Tanja steps off the turnbuckle as she removes the leather coat and throws it into a random corner as "Voodoo" fades.

Isabella Salvatore: Ladies and gentlemen, by stipulation from General Manager, LeeAnn Viskan, the entrance to the Pyramid will remain open for the first round…..

Seth Ernst: Huh?!

Miranda Augustino: Whaaaaaaat?!

Lucas Knox: Whyyyyyyy?!

Isabella Salvatore: ...And it will be a NO HOLDS BARRED…FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH!!!

The bell sounds and Tanja and Crystal immediately go right after one another, meeting in the center of the ring. The two of them immediately begin to exchange lefts and rights before we see Tanja beginning to get the better of the exchange. Tanja lands a couple of big forearms in a row on Crystal before sending her into the ropes. Crystal holds on, but Tanja charges in, taking Crystal over the ropes and out to the floor with a clothesline. Tanja slides out of the ring after Crystal and sends her back first into the barricade. Tanja doesn’t stop as she grabs Crystal, uses the ring apron and pushes off, hitting Crystal with a tornado DDT. Tanja immediately goes for a cover.


Tanja picks Crystal up and goes to send her towards the ring steps, but Crystal is able to reverse it, sending Tanja flying over the steps. Crystal immediately begins searching under the ring and she grabs a baseball bat. Crystal walks around the ring as Tanja is getting back up to her feet and takes a swing, nailing Tanja in the midsection with the bat, doubling her over before raising the bat up and delivering another shot right to the back. Crystal then gets down on top of the fallen Tanja, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her head up before taking the bat and pulling it back against Tanja's throat. Crystal lets out a loud scream as she pulls back on the bat, choking Tanja and yelling at Yumi to ask her if she wants to quit.

Tanja refuses and before too long, Crystal releases the choke and just swings the bat, hitting Tanja across the back again and going for a cover of her own.


Crystal argues with Yumi for a moment, but she picks Tanja up and drags her actually out through the pyramid door to the ringside area before hitting an Irish Whip that sends her into the barricade. Crystal charges in and Tanja lowers her shoulder, sending Crystal flying over the barricade and into the first row of fans. Tanja climbs over the barricade to meet Crystal and grabs a beer from one of the fans, takes a quick sip before she throws the rest right into the face of Crystal who stumbles back rubbing her eyes, trying to clear them as Tanja comes charging in, driving Crystal spine first into a hand railing that leads to the first section.Tanja grabs Crystal by the hair, driving her face first into the handrail before she places Crystal between the bottom and top bars and grabs her by the legs and slingshots her sternum first into the top bar of the handrail. Tanja then pulls Crystal out and she looks to deliver a northern lights suplex and hits it, bridging up for a cover.

Miranda Augustino: Idiotas! Get back in the fucking pyramid!!

Lucas Knox: It isn’t locked down yet!!

Miranda Augustino: Well, maybe it should be for future matches!

Tanja picks Crystal up and delivers a few right hands to her as they now begin to go through the crowd a little bit more as Crystal does her best to try and fight back, but at every turn, Tanja seems to block it. They make their way through the crowd and back towards the entrance ramp. Tanja tosses Crystal up onto the ramp and follows it up with a bridging German suplex for a pin.


Tanja now has a bit of a look of frustration on her face as she pulls Crystal up to her feet and up onto her shoulders as she looks to deliver City of the Dead, but Crystal is able to drop down behind Tanja and as Tanja turns around, Crystal rakes her eyes. Crystal follows it up with Flashing Lights and then a standing moonsault. Crystal doesn’t go for a pin though as she picks Tanja up and delivers a slap across the face. This angers Tanja who delivers a forearm of her own. The two of them fight back up to the top of the ramp where Tanja once again begins to the better of the exchange. Tanja and Crystal fight towards the edge of the stage where we see two tables set up on the floor about ten feet down. Tanja grabs Crystal and looks to throw her off the stage, but Crystal is able to reverse it, tossing Tanja off the stage and crashing down through the tables! Crystal wastes little time, getting down from the stage as she pulls Tanja out of the wreckage and she goes for a cover.


Crystal and the crowd seem shocked as Tanja was able to roll her shoulder up at the last possible moment. Crystal once again begins to argue with Yumi who is assuring Crystal that it was only a two count on the pin. Crystal grabs Tanja and this time, she uses the side of the stage to kick off of and she delivers a spinning DDT on Tanja. Crystal then sees another table off by the back of the stage near the curtain and brings it out. She sets it up and lays in a few punches to Tanja before placing her on top of the table. She then climbs to the stage once again and this time, she looks down at the prone Tanja and she delivers Rose Prism Power as both go crashing through the table and Crystal lays on top of Tanja for the cover.

Calaway quickly gets her feet back down to the apron and removes the collar, throwing it aside as she sucks in that precious oxygen, taking a rest on her knees for a moment.

Seth Ernst: Alexandra Calaway wins the second round of the Guardians of the Pyramid!

Miranda Augustino: That was brutal, y’all!

Lucas Knox: Crystal Hilton put up a hell of a fight, but the Ripper Queen knew what she was doing when she picked such a brutal stipulation!

As a beaten and tired Alexandra makes it to her feet, the door above her opens up and a ladder drops for her to climb up and meet her next challenge in Kazuhiko Saitama, who already has one end of a strap around his wrist. Alexandra makes her way up the ladder and into the ring as Yumi follows up behind her and takes the other end of the strap and fastens it to the wrist of Alexandra.

Isabella Salvatore: Ladies and gentlemen, this third round will be…A FOUR CORNER’S STRAP MATCH!!!

Lucas Knox: I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these in New Frontier before!

Seth Ernst: None of us have!

Miranda Augustino: Alexandra Calaway just had to take a collar off, now she gotta put a strap on.

Seth Ernst: Are you listening to yourself, right now?

Miranda Augustino: Simón, carnal!


Immediately, the two of them begin to circle the ring, neither one wanting to make an early mistake that could end this match quickly. It doesn't take too long though for them to meet in the middle of the ring and lock up. Kazuhiko uses his strength advantage to shove Alexandra off of him before she immediately gets to her feet again and they lock up one more time. This time, it's Alexandra grabbing her opponent and putting him into a side headlock. She transitions into a waistlock before she takes Kazuhiko and delivers a German suplex to him. Alexandra gets up to her feet and she looks to end this one early as she tries to make her way towards the first turnbuckle, but as she gets just fingertips away, Kazuhiko has a hold of the strap and pulls Alexandra away, causing her to hit the mat face first.

Kazuhiko then takes the strap, raising it up high into the air and brings it down as hard as he can across the back of Alexandra with a loud slap that rings out throughout the arena. Alexandra screams out in pain as Kazuhiko does this again and again and again. Kazuhiko then picks Alexandra up and he delivers a codebreaker. He now looks down at the fallen Alexandra and he takes this opportunity to try and touch all four turnbuckles. He gets the first two before Alexandra gets back to her feet and drives a knee right into the back of her opponent. Kazuhiko hits the turnbuckle face first and stumbles back as Alexandra takes the strap which now has found its way between the legs of Kazuhiko and she gives it a hard pull and sends him down, hitting the mat face first. Alexandra hits the ropes and delivers a running senton splash before she takes the strap, wrapping it around the throat of Kazuhiko and begins to choke him out.

Kazuhiko fights, trying to make it anywhere that he can to relieve the pressure from the choke by Alexandra and finally, he’s able to slip out to the floor, causing Alexandra to lose her grip on the strap. Alexandra though slides out of the ring to meet Kazuhiko and when she does, he delivers a kick to the midsection before he grabs her, slamming her face first against the glass pyramid structure. Kazuhiko then grabs Alexandra and slides her back into the ring. He slides in after her and climbs to the top rope before he delivers a frog splash to Alexandra and he once again looks to touch the corners. This time, Kazuhiko is able to get three of the turnbuckles before Alexandra is able to stop him.

Alexandra takes the strap and now she begins to whip Kazuhiko over and over again with it. She uses the strap to keep him close as she delivers a rolling forearm shot before she follows it up with a couple of V Trigger knee strikes that drops Kazuhiko to his knees. Alexandra delivers a thrust kick to the side of the head of her opponent before she hits the ropes and delivers a curbstomp to Kazuhiko. She looks down at her fallen opponent before she picks him up once again and this time, she delivers Fallen Angel before the exhausted Alexandra begins to make her way around the ring, finally touching all four corners.

Seth Ernst: Ayu Megumi breaks the momentum of Alexandra Calaway and moves onto the fifth round!

Lucas Knox: Where did Ayu Megumi get all that from?!

Miranda Augustino: I’m speechless, amigos!

Megumi immediately lets Calaway out of the hold and rolls out of the ring, panting, sweating, exhausted, hurting, but triumphant so far. She raises her arm in victory as the metallic grinding of a door is heard and she lowers her arm, turning towards it. The door into the next room, adjacent to where Megumi and Calaway are now, opens to reveal Stacy Jones standing in the next ring, waiting. Ayu Megumi steels herself and limps through the doorway into the next section of the Pyramid as the doors grind closed behind her and the referee. Megumi climbs into the ring and stands before Stacy Jones who looks her over, looking a little concerned but ready to go all the same. She offers a hand out to Ayu Megumi before their round starts. Megumi and Jones shake hands as the round is announced.

Isabella Salvatore: Ladies and gentlemen, this next round will be…A PURE RULES WRESTLING MATCH!!

Crowd: YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

Lucas Knox: HELL YEAH!! LET’S GO!!

Seth Ernst: Pure Rules between two of the toughest wrestlers in this roster!

Miranda Augustino: I wish I had popcorn for this one!


Ayu looks across at the defending champion, Stacy Jones and nods respectfully even as her own body screams at her over what all just happened to her. Stcy walks out to the middle of the ring and bows to her. Ayu walks out to meet Stacy and bows in kind. The two lock-up in a traditional collar and elbow tie-up. Stacy starts to power Ayu back. Ayu jumps up into a flying headscissors clearly going for a rana. Stacy catches her and blocks the rana. Stacy pulls Ayu up to try and powerbomb her down. Ayu gets in a forearm shot and then jumps over into a sunset flip.


Stacy starts to get up, making it to her knees. Ayu runs in and hits a shotgun dropkick. Stacy is hammered by the impact and falls over onto her back. Ayu jumps into a cover.


Ayu gets to her feet and goes for a wild roundhouse kick. Stacy catches the leg and gets Ayu in a pump handle. She flips Ayu up and then snaps her down into a meltdown power slam. She holds for the cover.


Seth Ernst: Ayu Megumi trying to win this as quickly as possible.

Miranda Augustino: Well, when you know your gas tank is closer to E than full, you’re facing a fresh world champion and you know you have to fight another huge match to walk away the winner and champion? Time is not your friend.

Lucas Knox: No, it’s not and you gotta believe Stacy’s thinking the same thing on some level. Hope this doesn’t get drawn out too far so you don’t go into the last one already dragging like a dying dog on the side of the road.

Seth Ernst: You really think either of these athletes could end up like that?

Lucas Knox: If Ayu has to go to another? Yes… Stacy… depends on how long this one goes. It’s always possible for even the best conditioned athlete to run into that proverbial wall.

Miranda Augustino: And depending on what we have in store here, it could be the difference between a love tap and a car crash!

Ayu swings her legs around and tries to hook up Stacy for a head scissors again. Stacy stands up and hooks Ayu’s legs for a cloverleaf. She steps over and sits down on the hold with Ayu crying out in pain. Ayu grabs the bottom rope and the referee calls for the break.

Isabella Salvatore: That is Ayu Megumi’s first rope break! She has two remaining.

Stacy releases her grip and staggers forward a step. Ayu pulls herself up on the ropes and jumps up into the Time Deficiency. Stacy goes down hard and Ayu covers her.


Ayu gets a head scissors and starts to turn it into a choke. Stacy bridges up, rolling Ayu over and onto her shoulders.


Ayu starts to get up and then jumps into side headlock. She slides into a rear naked choke. Stacy kicks off the nearby ropes and rolls through so that Ayu’s shoulders are down again.


Releasing her grip, Ayu rolls away and starts up to her feet again.

Seth Ernst: Ayu trying to show her victory earlier wasn’t a fluke!

Miranda Augustino: They’re both looking for whatever they can get!

Lucas Knox: And staying away from punches and anything resembling tuff that would violate rules, Pure or not.

Seth Ernst: Would you expect anything different from these two?

Miranda Augustino: No!

Lucas Knox: Not at all.

Stacy starts to stand up and Ayu catches her with the Fatality. Stacy goes down like she’s been shot and Ayu covers.


Ayu goes to the corner, ascends the turnbuckles and then comes off for the Leap. Stacy moves out of the way and Ayu splats herself down onto the mat. Stacy jumps into an O’Connor roll.


Stacy is propelled forward and Ayu staggers up. Stacy comes running back and Ayu catches her for a drop toehold. Stacy hits hard and Ayu jumps into an STF. Stacy grabs the bottom rope almost out of instinct.

Isabella Salvatore: That is Stacy’s first rope break! She has two remaining.

Ayu releases her grip and steps away as Stacy starts to slowly get up while holding for a breather. Ayu goes for an O’Connor roll of her own but Stacy uses her grip on the ropes to shug her off.

Isabella Salvatore: That is Stacy's second rope break! She has one remaining.

Seth Ernst: The referee is calling that a rope break?

Miranda Augustino: I don’t know about that call.

Lucas Knox: Definitely puts Stacy in a hold now, doesn’t it? If she grabs the ropes again just one more time, they no longer cause a break after.

Seth Ernst: Questionable call and a possible bad break for Stacy there!

Miranda Augustino: She still has the one and that might be all she needs.

Lucas Knox: It might also be her downfall.

Ayu swings for a roundhouse kick again. Stacy catches the leg and executes a capture suplex. Ayu hits hard and bounces off the ropes right into an inside cradle.


The two both get up and Stacy turns into the Bat-Hammer. Ayu goes down hard and Stacy falls into a cover.


Stacy grabs for an arm-in triangle choke. Ayu thrashes about and gets a foot on the ropes.

Isabella Salvatore: That is Ayu’s second rope break! She has one remaining.

The two stagger up and Ayu throws a forearm. Stacy eats the impact and then fires back. Ayu jumps up into a dropkick. Stacy is wobbled. Ayu runs back to the ropes and comes back for the Ethereal Blade. Stacy goes down hard. Ayu covers her.


Isabella Salvatore: That is Stacy’s third and final rope break. She has none remaining. The ropes are now in play!

Ayu pulls Stacy away from the ropes and covers again.


Stacy cradles Ayu.


Isabella Salvatore: That is Ayu’s third and final rope break! She has none remaining. The ropes are in play!

Seth Ernst: Wow, no more rope breaks!

Miranda Augustino: The effort everything is going to take now…

Lucas Knox: That’s not to say they weren’t trying before but…

Miranda Augustino: No, it just means they can't just grab the rope to get out something anymore.

Lucas Knox: I’m amazed Ayu is still going!

Seth Ernst: That woman has amazing fighting spirit!

Stacy gets to her feet and Ayu jumps into a code breaker. Ayu gets up and runs to the ropes for a quebrada. Stacy gets her knees up and Ayu bounces off hard. Stacy gets a jackknife pin.


Stacy rolls over and stands up on the apron. She grabs the rope and slingshots herself into the Unbreakable Cutter. She covers.


Stacy sits up on her knees and looks at Ayu, shaking her head in amazement. Stacy pulls Ayu up and then goes into Unbowed. She covers.


Stacy sits back on her knees again and nods to herself. She staggers up and goe to pull Ayu up. Ayu pulls her into a small package.


Stacy rolls away and climbs up the turnbuckles. Ayu gets to her feet and Stacy jumps off into RWYA. Stacy covers.
