- Iron Jaw: KJ is a tough kid. Having been a bare knuckle boxer and professional kickboxer before becoming a wrestler with an impressive record, best known for his ability to take punishment and keep on going.
- Quick Thinker: Spending most of his adult life in jail, KJ grew up to become street smart. Knowing when situations he's in are getting hostile, and pretty much growing an eye in the back of his head. It won't be easy getting the jump on him.
- Smart: When KJ knows he's gonna lose a fight, he would rather give up quick than try and go down swinging, potentially injuring himself in the process. Like if he's locked in a painful submission in the center of the ring he won't try and fight it, instead opting to tap out quick and prolong his career.
