Thea Crawford: Here is your winner, Jamie Austin!
Seth Ernst: Austin picked up the win!
Miranda Augustino: A good early start here on Trauma!
Lucas Knox: Wait, wait, what’s going on here?
Seth Ernst: Uh-oh…
As Jamie celebrates her victory, Jericho and Valereigh Kerry make it into the ring to help Deedray up and the three all turn their eyes towards Jamie Austin. Jamie turns around and stares back at the three, tensing and looking ready for a fight but otherwise unconcerned. If she has to fight three on one and goes down, so be it, it seems. The Kerry Family starts to spread out to cover any points of exit for Jamie as the lone wrestler brings up her hands and motions for them to come on and bring it. Before either of them can move in, however, there’s a commotion from the crowd as suddenly Alexandra Calaway and Lana Corvin come jumping the barricade and slide into the ring, taking up Jamie’s flanks and evening things off with the Kerry Family.
Lucas Knox: Hey whoa, what the hell are they doing out here?
Miranda Augustino: Alex Calaway and U.S Champion, Lana Corvin. We’re supposed to have a title belt presentation here, shortly. Lana’s receiving the new United States Championship belt.
Seth Ernst: These ladies look ready for a fight, though.
Jamie looks confused at first but she’s not gonna bat an eye at some backup. The Kerry Family look annoyed at the new arrivals and decide to back out of the ring, saving the fight for another day. Once they’re gone, Alex and Lana both turn to start talking to Jamie after which Alex reaches behind her and pulls a folded t-shirt from the waistline of her jeans and opens it out, showing Jamie. It’s a new merch line “Legacies” shirt like the one she and Lana are currently wearing.
Miranda Augustino: Whoooaaa, wait a second!
Lucas Knox: It looks like they’re making Jamie an offer!
Seth Ernst: Jamie Austin is a next generation competitor. She does come from a famous legacy!
Jamie looks at the shirt and talks it out with the two a bit more before she steps in and embraces her new sisters. She flashes the shirt to the camera before pulling it on and the three pose in the center of the ring.
Seth Ernst: Ladies and gentlemen! Legacies has just grown stronger!
Winner: Jamie Austin

As Trauma returns from a commercial, we see LeeAnn Viskan standing in the ring with the new United States Championship sitting on a stand and a black cloth. She holds a mic in her hand and raises it to her lips.LeeAnn Viskan: As was said earlier this week our United States Championship was redesigned alongside the NFW World and New Frontier Championships. Our United States Champion, Lana Corvin, is the first to receive one of the new Championships. So, Mrs. Corvin, would you please come out here?
Stabbing Westward’s cover of Burn fills the arena. Out from backstage walks the United States Champion Lana Corvin. She has the current United States Championship slung over one of her shoulders. Stepping up behind her are her father and manager, Ashe Corvin, as well as Alexandra Calaway and Jamie Austin. The group slowly makes its way toward the ring. The crowd is showing their dislike of the group known as Legacies. They all climb the steps and enter the ring as Ashe holds the ropes open for them. He steps through last and the group stands across from LeeAnn.
LeeAnn Viskan: Thank you, Mrs. Corvin. I am pleased to be able to give you this new, upgraded version of the United States Championship. In just a few moments we will find out who your next challenger will be.
Lana just rolls her eyes hearing that.
LeeAnn Viskan: But before that, if you would please hand over the old United States Championship…
Lana takes the Championship off of her shoulder and holds it out to LeeAnn. The Trauma General Manager places the offered belt in a canvas bag. She then takes the new Championship belt off of its stand. She then holds it out to Lana who takes it from her. Lana looks at the Championship and then holds it up over her head. She then sets the belt on her shoulder, adjusting it to sit the way that is most comfortable. She then takes the offered mic from LeeAnn.
Lana Corvin: Thank you, Ms. Viskan.
Lana then turns to face the crowd.
Lana Corvin: It’s fitting that I am the first one to receive one of the redesigned Championship belts. The best Champion on the roster gets a fitting reward before all the others. A Championship that will stay right where it is for a very, very long time. There are records that need to be broken. Ones that I will break. Twenty Twenty-three is the Year of Corvin.
The crowd explodes with hatred and dislike. Lana just chuckles.
Lana Corvin: Hate it all you want, it doesn’t matter. I will be the United States Champion for the rest of this year. I will break the record for the longest reign. I will break the record for the number of defenses. When people talk about this title my name will be the first one mentioned! I will be synonymous with the United States Championship! It doesn’t matter who wins that stupid match tonight. They’ll just end up like Toothless would have had he not run the fuck away, scared. So Kazuhiko, Damian fight your hardest tonight. Fight for your lives. Fight for the right to be the second name on the long list of defenses I am going to have. Because at Manifest Destiny when the dust has settled and our match is over, you are going to hear two words. Two simple little words.
Lana smirks,
Lana Corvin: And. Still!
Lana drops the mic and holds the title up over her head. She then moves to a corner and climbs it, holding the new United States Championship high. LeeAnn Viskan just stands there applauding.

Thea Crawford: Here is your winner, and new #1 Contender to the NFW United States Championship, Damon Cross!!
Winner: Damon Cross

Result: Pinfall
==========================================================
Seth Ernst: An impressive win for Damon Cross tonight, fans! And with it, he’ll be heading to Manifest Destiny to face Lana Corvin for the United States Championship at Manifest Destiny!Miranda Augustino: Don’t remind me!
Seth Ernst: Snippy to the end, eh?
Still in the ring following his win over Kazuhiko Saitama, Cross leans on the ropes for a few moments, either catching his breath or gathering his thoughts. Perhaps both. Considering his efforts this evening just earned him a literal golden opportunity, one would think that the Unforgiven might be at least a little pleased. But the expression on his face is almost stoic. After looking out at the fans for a few moments, he goes to the ropes nearest the timekeeper’s table and gestures for a microphone.
Seth Ernst: He did note that there was something he wanted to say over social media last week… I suppose we’re about to hear what that is.
Tapping on the business end of the stick a few times, Damon makes his way back to the middle of the ring and draws in a slow breath before letting it go. Psyching himself up, perhaps?
Damon Cross: In case anyone was wondering if I were still worth a damn in this ring, right?
The chuckle that follows is dry, mirthless. The smile has no feeling behind it. He makes no effort to hide his disdain, and gives up on the false happiness a moment later.
Damon Cross: As if it matters. Up until a couple days ago, the front office seemed to be doing their utmost to pretend like I didn’t exist. How else do you explain my not being booked to compete for more than two months, notwithstanding the farce that was March Mayhem? A night where Kai Morgan ran like a coward, hiding behind his manager until he could connive his way into retaining his championship in a match that literally requires no skill whatsoever. Way to protect your boy, LeeAnn Viskan, though I suppose that’s just the nature of the game these days. Talent, respect and dedication take a backseat to who can sell the most shirts and talk the most shit. Why else would someone like Kai be champion?
A heavy dose of boos start to rain down on Damon, which is surprising since the Undisputed Champion isn’t exactly the most well-loved guy around these days. But if the reaction bothers Cross, it doesn’t show in any noticeable way.
Damon Cross: I said to myself after March Mayhem that I was gonna settle up with Nathaniel Dixon-
Another rush of boos, which Damon barely pauses to accommodate.
Damon Cross: -but that went up in smoke for no good fucking reason. Once a coward, always a fucking coward. LeeAnn probably could have worked something out, but… why bother, right?
Miranda Augustino: Invoking the boss lady’s name a lot tonight, ain’t he?
Seth Ernst: Probably not the best idea…
Backing up on to the turnbuckles, he takes a seat to continue speaking.
Damon Cross: I’ve had the rug pulled out from under me so many damn times in the last year that I can’t take a step without tensing up. But when it came to NFW? Well, let’s just say that I took this place for granted. I thought to myself… I’ve done a lot for this company. Dragged myself out of the muck and grime, put on some of the best matches Collision had ever seen and raised up a lot of talented people to new heights. Even brought in a tag team that I felt had tons of potential. But, much like they have with me, they’ve pretty much forgotten about them, too. My guess is because they don’t spend every waking moment on Twitter, mugging for attention and showing more skin than is respectable. Oh, wait-
Another dark chuckle, and a grin to match.
Damon Cross: -did I just call out three-quarters of the roster?
Now his face shifts to a pissed-off glower.
Damon Cross: Not. Fucking. Sorry.
Boos rain down even harder. Damon, though, just talks over them.
Damon Cross: Like I said: I’ve done a lot for this place. You can hate my saying that all you want, but you can’t refute it. I’ve never asked for anyone to hand me anything, either. Even the first night I walked into Trauma, making it clear that that Undisputed Championship was my holy grail, saw me prepared to do whatever was necessary to earn the opportunity. And I did. More than once. Only to have each and every attempt to win it, whether it was from Kasey Kash or Kai Morgan, fucked over somehow. Yet, I stayed the course because that’s how I was taught. Giving up is not an option. Put me in this ring with anyone, one-on-one, and I can beat them. But fighting the front office?
Damon shrugs and hops down from the buckles.
Damon Cross: Not an option.
Seth Ernst: I don’t think this is the time or place for something like this…
Miranda Augustino: I agree. This should be hashed out in private. This is, in a word, unprofessional.
The fans seem to agree, but Damon is beyond caring. His tone remains calm, almost quiet, forcing people to pay attention in order to properly listen to what he’s saying.
Damon Cross: Knowing the ego on her, I’m sure Lana Corvin is back there seething about how she hasn’t been mentioned by name yet. I should be focusing on her and her title, after all, isn’t that so? Then again, she probably doesn’t know I exist at this point. “Simply Better Than You”, right, Lana?
Snorting out of slight amusement, Damon shakes his head.
Damon Cross: The day ain’t arrived where you’re better than me, young lady. But the thing is? I don’t care about you or your title. Even if I were to win it, they’d find some way to get it off me, whether it made sense or not. That’s the level that we’ve stooped to here. It’s like they’re daring me to take a walk.
Leaning on the ropes, he beckons the camera, making sure that it’s locked in on him.
Damon Cross: So it goes one of two ways: either Lana leaves that match several pounds lighter in leather and gold, and we see how long it takes for the mandated screw job to kick in and deal another blow to my legacy… or she somehow gets the win. I wouldn’t put it past her with her old man conniving his way around nearby. But after Manifest Destiny, if that belt isn’t around my waist, you won’t be seeing me for a long fucking time. And if it is? Pride and respect will compel me to make the life of whoever comes to try and take it a living hell. And once they do? You won’t be seeing me around for a long fucking time. Maybe never again. I’m not going to stick around in a place where promises are broken and I’m treated like a second-class citizen. I’m not going to sit back and watch as people who can’t keep up with me in this ring get shots that are mine by right. I know my worth, even if no one else here wants to recognize it.
Seth Ernst: Fans, we’re sorry about this outburst-
Miranda Augustino: Why are they continuing to let him do this?
The Unforgiven is certainly getting worked up, and the fans are letting him know what they think; it isn’t pretty.
Damon Cross: But who knows? Maybe I won’t even make it there before they just up and fire me. Hell, they fired my wife for no reason, so I’d say that’d be par for the cour-
And just like that, the microphone is cut off. Damon taps it a few times, then visibly laughs before tossing it out of the ring and taking his leave. It’s to the point where people are throwing things in his general direction, but Damon barely acknowledges it. He laughs all the way up the ramp and through the curtain without even looking back.
Miranda Augustino: Fans, we apologize about this. This is… well, it’s very out of character for Damon. He’s always held himself to a certain level of decorum but…
She trails off, confused and angry in equal measure. Seth looks no more at ease than his broadcast colleague.
Seth Ernst: Clearly there’s been some… communication issues with Damon and the folks backstage, I guess? I don’t know what else to call this.
Miranda Augustino: Let’s just get back to the rest of the show…

Ayu Megumi walks into the scene with a bright smile, this is the first time since her comeback that she's standing next to Dakota Winters handing her the mic. Ayu thanks Dakota before taking it from her. Ayu Looked at Dakota with a smile and waited for the question to be asked by Dakota standing beside her.Dakota Winters: Hello again, Ayu! Guess we haven't seen each other long after March Mayhem, right? Now we won't talk about what happened back then but I see what important announcement you just made on your twitter. I'm curious how you prepared for what you announced. Because I feel that now many people really pay attention to what you announced. And it seems now everyone knows what your goal is. How do you plan to deal with those pressures?
Ayu Megumi: I think I just announced the most important thing on my twitter. I hope to let my fans know that I still have goals that I want to achieve. No, I'm not going to do anything after I lose the NFW United States Champion, because like I said, that's not everything for me. I already knew that one day the loss would come. And now I know what I'm going to do next. I know what the future holds for me and I haven't given up just because I lost the championship. I know how I'm going to move on. And losing it has been a while. I'm in pain But now that I want to get up, I don't want to get caught up in failure because that will be the reason for my career failure. But I didn't want to be like that, and my sister taught me well, how to handle the pressure from expectations because f, for me, there is nothing to worry about. I don't think there is anything that can put pressure on me. But now the first goal is to start again. Last week was a great win for me but I think I can't be satisfied with just the win last week. Now I'm looking forward to winning the match tonight as it will be my triumphant comeback. I want to win more than anything right now. And I think this week will be a tough match for me. I never looked at who would be an easy opponent for me. So I will do my best in this match and get back important wins. I will definitely not disappoint my fans again! I want everyone to look forward to what is to come. I believe I will be able to create something for everyone to see again this year. I promise that no one will be disappointed!
Dakota Winters: Do you have anything else that you would like to say to your fans for how much they have supported you during your happiest days and your worst days but it seems that now you have become Dear fans that they adore you now.
Ayu Megumi: I want to thank you for always supporting me. I understand that the past few weeks have been quite disappointing for me. Nothing got in my way. I was disappointed after losing the championship then I admit I was heartbroken. But as time passed, I got up again and I think now it's my big comeback again. I can't let anything that has passed hold me back I started over again and I feel that starting over after learning the lesson will make me stronger. And I will show you how much stronger I am after my last loss. I know it's hard to forget, but I don't mind forgetting it. I took it as a lesson for myself to grow. I will grow up and be strong I will grow up and become a good adult. And of course, after learning the lesson, I won't make that mistake again. I don't know how to thank them appropriately for what they gave me. It's too big for me. I can't do anything but keep doing my best. I'll be mine like this I won't become someone they don't like. I will be like this but I will be better in the ring too. I will get better every week, I will fulfill what I have preached. I know it's hard but there's nothing I can't do. Everything is always possible for me. Therefore, as long as I don't give up, I don't want anyone to leave me on the way. I promise that I will take everyone to the end of my dreams. Someday we will meet again on the day that everything I have announced I can achieve. Of course it's tough but I just want everyone to believe that I can do it. I certainly won't give up!
Ayu Megumi finishes her speech and hands the mic back to Dakota Winters, before she smiles at Dakota again before slowly walking away from the camera, leaving Dakota to watch her fade away before the scene fades to black.

The scene comes up in the backstage area where everyone can see Nakita Niles warming herself up for her match that's coming up next. This was her first title defense, and she'll make it a good one. She's wearing her ring gear, and you see her title is on a crate right next to her. She turns to grab her belt and put it on her shoulder. She looks at the camera while putting on her shades.NAKITA NILES: “April 29th, 2023 is the day that will go in history. A day when Nakita Nile put that traitor Alexandra Callaway into the mat. A day when I picked her up and dropped her back first right on the thumbtacks. Sure, I still feel the pain in my mouth from all those spikes grinding along my tongue and the roof of my mouth. But nothing compares to losing your belt. Isn't that right, Ally? I bet those thumbtacks in your back left holes in your body.”
“After all that was said and done, I knew it was my time to shine. And tonight, I shall shine. Tonight I walk out to that ring, and I go one on one with Danielle Page. A woman who wants nothing more than to hold this championship resting on my shoulder. Danielle, I admire your confidence and admire everything about you, but you're going to be standing in the ring with a woman who won't give up easily.”
She shrugs her shoulders as she continues to speak to the crowd.
NAKITA NILES: “Danielle, I'm not like those others that stood before when they held this championship. No. I'm much different. I won't go out there and cheat my way to victory, No! I'll fight fair and with honor. Something that's been missing for a long time. Some don't care, but I do. Danielle if you want to win, you better bring the fight. I want to challenge who's worthy to step in the ring with me and prove that they have what it takes. Will it be an easy challenge? No. But no challenge is ever easy.”
“When you step in the ring, you and I will have millions and millions of NFW fans chanting and cheering our name. The crowd will have electricity flowing through their bodies, watching us go at it for one the most precious title that NFW has to offer. But Danielle, in the end, it's going to be me standing tall as the fans cheer my name. I will climb the turnbuckle and raise my belt in the air to hear the fans chant my name.”
CROWD: NAKITA! NAKITA! NAKITA! NAKITA!
Nakita gets a smile on her face while hearing the crowd chant her name. She lowered her shades and raised her right eyebrow.
NAKITA NILES: “OOH-RAH!”
CROWD: “HOO-RAH!”
She brings up her shades and walks aways as the next match gets set up.
