The scene opens up in the parking lot of the Vlad Memorial Coliseum. A pink Lexus pulls up in one of the parking spots. Opening the drivers side door is Abigail “Serenity” Lindsay. She closes the door, walks around to the back to pop the drunk. She pulls out a red duffle bag. Noticing the camera zoomed in on her, she waves. Abigail Lindsay: “On my way to the arena, I was reflecting on the moment that brought me here. Well. The woman I followed to join forces with to be more precise. I was content being apart of the ride. Having fun. Exerting a lil salacious intent. Then I was fine showing the world how unnatural of a force I actually was, to the tune of two hundred and forty days. My two plus year run in this company has been mired in being part of a collective. Heh, I’m getting all the puns out the way early, don’t mind me.”
Abigail giggles.
Abigail Lindsay: “In case you all forgot two years and some change ago my journey started on the blue brand. Trauma. I wasn’t here for very long. Collison wanted me and Sela more, I guess. Or Isabella didn’t want me badly enough, anywho, it’s quite ironic I am getting my first singles championship opportunity in NFW on a blue branded pay per view, doubly ironic, it is not for a NFW sanctioned championship buuuuuuuuuuut, NFW alums like Damon Cross. Crystal Caldwell... it’s Caldwell this week right? Wanna make sure. ”
She waits for confirmation from the camera man. Once she gets the signal of what Crystal’s last name is this week, she continues.
Abigail Lindsay: Can’t forget about my Morgy! Hey Ace! Know you’re watching. We can clank championships after I win!
Abigail blows a kiss at the camera.
Abigail Lindsay: “NFW has the MULTIUNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP on lockdown. Shame Crystal had to drop the ball or else I would be facing her tonight to bring the MULTIUNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP back to The Kingdom. Bet Crystal can’t forget The Kingdom whooping dat ass when she was on Collision. Morgan whooped that ass. Mary whooped dat ass. Am I leaving anyone out? If I am, I’m sooo sawry. Been a long day. Last minute work out. Being reminded of Jamie Austin's existence.”
“Anywho -- ”
Abigail yawns.
Abigail Lindsay: -- as silly as this might sound, I want The Kingdom to be proud of little ole me. I want to make my contribution professionally. Look at the championships The Kingdom have gobbled up since their formation, I don’t want to be the girl who didn’t add to the legacy. Professionally speaking, I shall represent The Kingdom to the fullest extent of my abilities. And that is why tonight is super important, as great as it is to finally get a shot at a singles championship, this isn’t about me. This is about the brand. I shall do it for the brand, damn it! So... hashtag Behold The Kingdom. Hashtag raise the roof... woot woot!”
Abigail slams the drunk. She walks to the arena as the scene fades to black.

Madoka Kawada: The following contest is one fall, and it is for the Splat Multiuniversal Championship! It will be contested under Splat Championship Rules of Engagement. Introducing first, the challenger!
Madoka Kawada: She hails from Los Angeles, California! Welcome to the ring, Abigail! Lindsay!
She places the helmet back on and drives down to the ringside area. She circles the ring twice. The bike comes to a halt. Serenity slides off, takes off her helmet. She hops on the apron, proving how flexible she is she lifts one leg off, then drops in a full split. She slides under the bottom rope. She slumps down into the corner waiting for the match to start.
Madoka Kawada: And her opponent!
Madoka Kawada: Coming to the ring, hailing from Wildwood, New Jersey. She is the reigning Splat Multiuniversal Champion! This is Hayley Fien!
She walks down to the ring, not taking the time to acknowledge the fans that are booing her on, remnants of her tainted championship win at the Denzel Porter Invitational still fresh in their minds. Hayley gets into the ring and stands in the middle of it, soaking everything in.
Skylar Rayner: Welcome to March Mayhem! Newly crowned Mulitiuniversal Champion, Hayley Fien with her first title defense against Abigail Lindsay, who’s looked really impressive as of late here in NFW. She’s gotten the attention of Splat who gave her this opportunity. Can she snatch that title away from Hayley Fien after the controversial finish to her title win last month at the Denzel Porter Invitational?
Jazmin Davis: That remains to be seen. It seems that was just the start for our Multiuniversal Champion as her attitude as done a complete 180, especially back in 5BW, her home fed.
The bell rings.
Jazmin Davis: And there’s the bell to start this match.
The two competitors circle the ring, but the chants of the fans seem to be getting to Hayley already as she stops to look out at the hostile NFW crowd. She angrily kicks at the bottom rope. The referee has to get her attention to get her back into this match as she yells at the fans.
Skylar Rayner: The fans here at NFW already giving Hayley a hard time.
Jazmin Davis: Of course! We’re on Lindsay’s home turf.
Hayley is back in the match as they circle before locking up. Immediately, Fien pulls Lindsay into a headlock before spinning behind her into a reverse hammerlock. Lindsay is quick to drop down and takes Fien to the match with a trip, floats around into a front chancery.
Fien to her knees as she grabs the arm, spins it around, flipping Lindsay over and they both get to their feet with Hayley taking the arm bar, but Lindsay rolls through to her feet and takes the armbar for herself instead. She rolls across Fien’s back and flips her over with arm drag and they both get to their feet. Fien screaming at this crowd after being flustered by Lindsay early on.
Skylar Rayner: Fien stepping through the ropes to the apron to jaw with some fans at ringside, but she needs to keep her focus on Abigail Lindsay in the ring.
Jazmin Davis: Actually, intentional or not, Hayley Fien just stopped all of Lindsay’s momentum in this match by stepping onto the apron.
Fien steps back into the ring and as the two circle, they step to the center and lock up, but Fien pushes Lindsay into the corner. The referee asks for a break, but instead, Fien gives Lindsay a hard chop across the chest followed by a second. Lindsay quickly snatches Fien and spins her into the corner and delivers a couple of chops.
Fien reverses it and gives a couple of chops. She whips Lindsay, but Lindsay reverses it, sending Fien to the corner. Thinking Lindsay was following her in, Fien uses the ropes to leap up, but Lindsay stops short and as Fien drops back down to her feet, she turns into a hard chop and then another before Lindsay sends her across the ring, Fien reverses. Lindsay rebounds off the ropes, ducks a clothesline, comes off with a tilt-a-whirl, but Fien hangs on, looking to drop her with a tombstone, but Lindsay kicks out and attempts a piledriver, but Fien gives her a backdrop.
Lindsay crawls to the corner, getting to her feet as Fien charges in. Lindsay kicks a foot up and Fien runs with into it. Lindsay hops onto the second turnbuckle and drops Fien with a bulldog. First cover of the night!

They get to their feet, Fien is a little disoriented after that bulldog and walks into a headlock takeover and Lindsay has her on the mat. Fien is trying to keep her shoulder off the mat, but then reaches underneath Lindsay and rolls her onto her back.

Fien rolls to her knees and they get to their feet. Fien drives a knee into the midsection and then another, forcing Lindsay into the corner. Fien with a chop, then she whips Lindsay towards the corner only for Lindsay to reverse it and Fien flies up over the turnbuckle, hits the apron and rolls out onto the floor.
Skylar Rayner: That was quite the fall for the champion!
Fien appears to be fine as she pulls herself to her feet, only to be hit hard with a baseball slide as she crashes into the guardrailing behind her. Lindsay to the outside. She climbs the turnbuckle and flies off. Fien tries to dodge, but gets hit anyway, but Lindsay also catches her elbow on the guardrail and clutches at it as she hits the ground.
Jazmin Davis: Abigail Lindsay flexing her hand, trying to get the feeling back into it as she gets to her feet.
Lindsay grabs a handful of Fien’s hair, pulling her to her feet and then whipping her across and into the guardrail. Lindsay stalks over and hammers Fien with a couple of punches before bringing her back towards the ring and rolling her inside.
Fien is quickly to her feet, however, and Lindsay gets up onto the apron, Fien hammers her with a punch and then locks her in for a suplex as she tells the fans to shut up. She lifts Lindsay up and over, but Lindsay lands on her feet behind Fien. Lindsay runs the ropes only to be caught with a huge side slam. Lindsay clutches her back and rolls to the outside.
Skylar Rayner: Quick reminder that the referee has no jurisdiction outside of the ring. Anything goes. They can only stop the match if one participant can no longer continue.
Fien rolls out of the ring as well and lifts the apron, pulling out a steel chair that she sets up outside of the ring. She brings Lindsay over and slams her head first into the steel chair. She rolls Lindsay back into the ring and covers!

Flustered, Fien pulls Lindsay to her feet by her hair and slams her head first into the turnbuckle and as Lindsay slumps into the corner, Fien delivers several stomps to the midsection until Lindsay is seated into the corner.
Fien crawls out of the ring and sets up the chair again. She grabs Lindsay by the feet and just yanks her from the ring as Lindsay crashes back first onto the steel chair. She rolls Lindsay back into the ring and crawls in for the cover.

Fien gets to her feet and yells at the fans who are still giving her a hard time. Lindsay is clutching at her back as she gets to her feet, but Fien comes over and pushes her through the ropes and Lindsay lands hard on the floor.
Fien follows her out, but Lindsay is already on her feet and Fien hits her with a punch. Fien drives Lindsay’s head into the guard rail and then chops her hard across the chest. But that seems to fire up Lindsay as she fires back with a chop of her own. In the aisle, Fien and Linsday trade chops back and forth before chops turning into punches and they trade those.
Lindsay tries to ram Fien’s head into the guardrail, but Fien reverses it, smashing Lindsay’s head into the railing and then Fien drags Lindsay’s forehead across the guard rail. Fien takes Lindsay by the hair and brings her back to ringside where she whips her into the guardrail. As Lindsay gets to her feet, she’s clubbed in the back of the neck by Fien’s elbow.
Fien kicks the chair into position and looks to be dropping Abigail on it, but instead, Abigail spins it around and DDT’s Fien right onto the chair as the fans pop huge.
Jazmin Davis: They’re both down. Normally the referee wouldn’t have much to say, but that was a nasty DDT outside of the ring. He’s heading out to check to make sure they both can continue.
There are no countouts in Splat title match, so the referee checks on Fien and then checks on Lindsay and then motions that the match will continues. Lindsay rolls onto her stomach and then gets to her feet. She grabs Fien and rolls her into the ring and crawls over for the count.

Lindsay charges Fien, who lifts her up and over the top rope and Lindsay crashes hard on the floor. Fien goes out but Abigail drops her with a DDT onto the steel chair that’s lying outside of the ring from before! Again, both competitors are down.
Again, the referee is checking on both wrestlers and signaling the match will continue.
Lindsay is the first to her feet as she rolls into the ring. Tired, she uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet and looks down at Fien who’s finally coming around. Fien is pushing herself to her feet when Lindsay runs the ropes and seems to look for a dive, but as she gets through the ropes, Fien raises the steel chair up and wallops her right in the top of the head and Lindsay just slumps over the second rope, partially hanging outside of the ring.
Skylar Rayner: I think that’s legal! Lindsay’s head is outside of the ring when Fien hit her with the chair. Fien is back in the ring.
Jazmin Davis: She’s got her tied up!

Skylar Rayner: Give that assist to the steel chair, but by hook or crook Hayley Fien was planning on walking out of here with the championship!
Jazmin Davis: You got that right.
Madoka Kawada: The winner of the match and STILL Splat Multiuniversal Champion! Hayley! Fien!
Exhausted, Hayley snatches the championship from the referee as she bails from the ring as the crowd boos her like crazy. The referee is tending to Abigail who’s just now coming around as Fien walks up the ramp towards the back, holding the championship high in the air.
Jazmin Davis: Hayley Fien’s first title defense is in the books and she’s looking to be a different breed of champion that the Multiuniversal Championship hasn’t seen yet.
Skylar Rayner: March Mayhem isn’t over yet. We want to thank NFW for hosting us this month. We’ll be taken part of Ravenfest next month, so don’t you dare miss that! For all of us here at Splat, enjoy the rest of March Mayhem and we’ll see you next month!
Winner: Hayley Fien

The scene opens with the familiar backdrop of a Heroes for Hire logo, one that we haven't seen in months. Emerging onto the scene, alone, is the leader of the group - Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm. Storm runs his fingers through his beard, his eyes diverted away from the camera. Mark Storm: "We only just started to scratch the surface..."
He sighs, nodding his head in frustration.
Mark Storm: "But we had something going, didn't we? It was something special."
He smiles, lamenting over the good times.
Mark Storm: "It was a spark, that rejuvenated the wrestling world, not just here in New Frontier Wrestling, but everywhere else too. Week after week, show after show, we'd go out there and deliver our all for these fans, putting it all on the line and showing why we were the best stable around... we had the NFW World Trios Championships, I had the opportunity to cement my name as a staple, premier singles star but then... things happened, injuries and disagreements, personal lives and so on... our momentum stifled and we went back to the drawing board, hoping that we could one day pick up that special spark, and go again!
Storm clenches his fist, allowing his smile to grow into a grin.
Mark Storm: "Ladies and Gentlemen, that special spark has only just started to rekindle... it's firing up and now me and the boys, we're feeling the full force of it. Day by day, we've been sitting on the fence, watching vigilantly from our comfort zones, yearning for that feeling of combat. We've sat by watching for far too long... and now it's time to get back what's ours."
Emerging onto the scene are his compatriots; Liam Richardson, Miles Watson and Takashi Shinobu, all sporting Heroes for Hire gear as they embrace.
Mark Storm: "The deadliest group in professional wrestling is back and we're back, on some vengeance. When I said, we only just started to scratch the surface - I wasn't telling no lies... and now, we're digging deep into the thick of it. My companions here, they went on to hold onto those Trio's titles for one hundred and forty four days and still, they aren't satisfied with the way that reign went. They're not satisfied and they've been to the top of the mountaintop, but that's thing, once you've been there already - you get this itch, this urge to get right back there again, by any means necessary!
I've been to the top of the mountaintop and that's exactly where we're planning to go. To the tippy-top of this promotion, yet again, like we once were, except we never fulfilled the prophecy, we never carried out our vision of what we wanted to do here in New Frontier Wrestling... or at least on my part, I never got to achieve the one thing that lured me here... The Undisputed TITLE... that's in my sights, I'll say it right now just so everybody knows, I'm not playing no games. My intentions are clear and I'll run through whatever scumbag... whatever lowlife, whatever maggot piece of shit, that wants to step up to the challenge and test me - I'll put them down, no questions asked!"
Storm has a menacing look in his eyes as he pauses, recollecting his thoughts as he paces around, allowing his companions to hype him up as he pauses again.
Mark Storm: "Our vision remains clear, our prophecy, is to become the most prestigious faction in all of professional wrestling, and that's something we're going to solidify here, that's a guarantee. So whilst all of your favorites bicker and bitch about who should have what and so on, we'll patiently bide our time... rack up our wins, coming for whatever challenge put in front of us, and steam rolling through it. The Heroes for Hire, are back in service!"
The scene fades, with all four men abruptly leaving the frame.

MARCH MAYHEM STARTS SOON!
