"You know, if you keep having those outbursts on Twitter, no one is going to believe you when you insist that you are completely calm most of the time," Sloane Cameron walked up to her client, Shelley Silver, as the latter was doing yoga in her basement.Time: Friday afternoon 6/8/2019
Shelley chuckled, shaking her head as she stretched out, "I know. I keep forgetting that people tend to assume your mood online, mostly based on their own moods." She shrugged, rolling her eyes. "This is why I despise social media so much. It's de-evolved humans so much that they no longer know how actual human interaction works. It's kinda scary."
"And that's why I'm not on social media at all," Sloane pointed out.
"Remind me why I started wrestling again," Shelley sighed. "That's literally the only reason I got on Twitter in the first place."
"Because you love wrestling and you wanted to try something new. Plus, it got your foot into the door for acting and stunt work. I still don't know how you are in your thirties and not in constant pain," Sloane laughed.
Shelley stood up, getting into a new position. "I'm just lucky, is all. I'm doing what I love and I'm having fun doing it."
"Until you get on Twitter," Sloane pointed out as she picked up Shelley's phone. She opened Shelley's Twitter account, then shook her head, muttering something about hypocrisy when she saw what Eavan said to Shelley. "Hey Shel..." she looked up for a few minutes. "Are you still on your meds?" She waited for a response as she removed the Twitter app from Shelley's phone and deactivated her Ask.fm account.
Shelley froze, slowly turning to face her manager, "what do you mean?"
"Shelley, I know you," Sloane stated bluntly. "The last time you went off this much you were off of your meds. Have you been taking them since Tuesday?"
Shelley sighed, looking down, "what difference does it make? Maybe I need to be that Shelley in order to take some of these people on."
"No," a male voice called out, coming down the stairs. "You can't do that to yourself again. You can't do that to us."
"That almost made us happen, Kyle," Shelley smirked, doing her best to avoid the serious issue at hand. "That's still on the table, by the way."
"Not funny, Shelley," Kyle Smalls walked into the room with a stern look on his face.
"Who says I'm joking?" Shelley shrugged. "We've been tip-toeing around it for a long time. Why not get to it before I get married?"
Kyle shook his head, "I just... No, I can't," he shook his head, turning to go back upstairs.
"What the fuck, Shelley?" Sloane walked over to Shelley, shoving her and knocking her over. "Why would you pull that on Kyle? You adore that boy. Not to mention, you love Ace. You may never stop screwing around with girls, but I thought that you drew the line at other dick. Even if it is Kyle. I have half a mind to call Angel down here to kick your ass, but I know that you'll just end up fucking her, anyway."
Shelley snarled as she got back up, almost as if she didn't even notice that Sloane had knocked her over and began working out more, "since when was sex ever a bad thing? It shouldn't matter who you are having it with." Her movements began to get more and more rapid, along with her speech as she continued. "Sex is sex and I enjoy having it as much as I possibly can. It helps me be able to stay in the ring longer, and if I want to stand behind what I stated earlier. Being the champion is one thing. I want to be able to rightfully say that I am the best in the division. Which I have to do now. I put it out there that I have to do it. Because what type of champion would I be if I lay out a challenge like that, and I can't beat everyone then I don't deserve to be the Silver Mountain Champion. Not that I actually believe that I actually deserved to win it in the..." she paused as she watched Sloane turn and go toward the stairs. "Hey! I was talking to you."
Sloane shook her head, "no, Shelley. You were talking at me." The older woman stated in a simple, calm and even tone. "You are trying to rationalize your fears and insecurities. You are freaking out over things that you can control, but believe that you can't." She stopped at the top step, "you're spiraling, Shelley. You were doing so much better. Did you forget the fact that you woke up in a random bed in New York after blacking out for an entire month? I couldn't babysit you the entire time, so who knows who else you ended up in bed with. And need I remind you about what happened on your birthday?"
Shelley whipped around, "you don't mention her name!" She snapped. "Kyle may still be right in the kitchen. He could hear us."
"Oh, now you care what I have to say?" Sloane shook her head. "Fuck you, Shelley. Grow up." She finished walking up the stairs and opened the door, "Angel! Shelley needs you."
