NFW Trauma #98 - 02/25/2023!

The crowd is amped for the in-ring return of Stacy Jones as she and The Ringmaster stand back in their corners. Ringmaster steps out, bows and extends a hand to the Unbreakable One. Warily, Stacy Jones steps out to accept the handshake. Ringmaster shakes her hand politely and firmly, smirking. The two back up again and the referee calls for the bell.


Jones and Ringmaster come out of their corners and circle up. The Ringmistress bounces around at ringside, cheering the Ringmaster on while the crowd is mostly behind Stacy Jones. They step in and lock up, collar and elbow. They jock for position and Ringmaster gets Jones into a wristlock but she twists around and catches him in a rear waistlock. He manages to wriggle enough to get her into a side headlock. Jones goes for a Belly to Back Suplex but Ringmaster braces his feet and drops his weight to a knee, making it harder to lift him up. Once he’s back onto his feet, Jones shoves him into the ropes and he comes back with a shoulder block, knocking her flat on her back. He hits the ropes again for a Running Senton and hooks the leg for a cover.


Ringmaster picks her up and backs her into a corner, laying in with some Forearm Smashes. He breaks at the referee’s order, hits the opposite turnbuckle and comes back in with a Running European Uppercut, rocking Jones. He hits the opposite corner again and comes back in but this time Jones gets her feet up right into his face. Ringmaster staggers back and Jones hops up onto the middle turnbuckle, diving off for a Spear that takes him to the mat. Jones pops up and hits the middle rope for a Lionsault, coming down hard onto the Ringmaster. She hooks the leg!


Jones backs up, letting the Ringmaster start getting up and comes in for a Shining Wizard. Ringmaster blocks it with his arms and comes back with a rising, spinning back elbow. He hits the ropes and comes rushing back in with a Slingblade! Jones sits up, a little dazed and the Ringmaster runs off the ropes with a Sliding Forearm. He hooks the leg again!


The Ringmaster looks a little frustrated but he sticks to his guns, pulling Jones up to her feet, hooking her arms and twisting around as he lifts her up for Come One, Come All (Vertibreaker) but Jones rolls back to get her feet on the mat and gets her arms loose. She hits the ropes as Ringmaster turns around and catches him with the Bat Hammer (Trouble In Paradise)! Instead of going for the pin, Jones calls for RWYA (Remember Who You Are) and starts making the climb. The Ringmaster gets to his feet and runs up to stop her. The two trade shots on the turnbuckle. Jones wins the trade off, dropping Ringmaster back to the mat on his feet but he catches her with a hard right that makes her slump down to the mat again. Ringmaster hits an Irish Whip on Jones, sending her reeling towards the opposite corner but she catches the top rope with her hands. Ringmaster comes charging in behind her but Jones jumps up, bounces off into a front somersault and catches Ringmaster as he comes in with Unbowed (Inverted Somersault Cutter)!! Hooks the leg!

Seth Ernst: Big win for Stacy Jones on her first match back!

Miranda Augustino: And you just know she’s dedicating this one as a message to Diamond Caldwell!

As Stacy Jones celebrates, The Ringmaster rises to his feet and shakes her hand again before taking a respectful bow and leaving her the ring.

The two competitors lock-up and start tussling about, each trying to prove their strength over the other. Cherry starts to take over and Nakita tries to roll into an inside cradle. Cherry rolls back into a monkey flip and Nakita lands in the corner against the turnbuckles. Cherry comes running in for a big lariat but Nakita ducks it and Cherry crashes into the turnbuckles, bounding back into a roll-up.


The two get to their feet and as Chery goes for a big lariat again, Nakita jumps up into a crucifix pin attempt.


Again, the two get up and Cherry looks for a big lariat. Nakita hooks her again for a crucifix but Cherry blocks it and drops Nakita down into a nasty Samoan drop. Cherry hits the Core Breach. She covers.


The two get up and start trading heavy, heavy shots. Cherry hits Nakita and Nakita fires back. They keep going until Nakita gets a lifting single underhook ddt. Nakita covers.


The two stagger up and start trading shots again. Nakita starts to take over but Cherry is able to stop her and gets the Circuit Breaker. Cherry covers.

The Page Sisters attack the Queens, almost leaving Crystal behind as they crash into the Queens. Bianca, Danielle and Vanessa hit Zara, Lilith and Kaya as Crystal comes in and gets on Alexandra. All eight start trading on each other as the crowd cheers them all on. Bianca clotheslines Zara over the top. Zara holds on and takes Bianca with her to the floor. Crystal hits a bicycle kick on Alexandra. Alexandra falls back against the ropes and backdrops Crystal over the top rope. Crystal lands on the apron and hooks Alexandra’s head. She starts to suplex Alexandra over the top but Alexandra blocks it enough to just land on the apron as well. Alexandra clotheslines Crystal down to the floor where the two start trading and fighting around just like Zara and Bianca. Danielle and Vanessa start trading with the Parkers. Danielle and Vanessa hook Lilith and Kaya for the stereo inside cradles.


Danielle and Vanessa hit the Influencers on Kaya. Lilith goes to save her sister and the Page Sisters set up for the Social Ladder. Zara gets loose from Bianca and tackles Danielle allowing Lilith to go into a victory roll on Vanessa.


Alexandra dives into the ring and hits Bow To The Queen on Danielle. Bianca comes in and she and Vanesa hit the Influencers on Alexandra. Kaya hits the Parker-Go-Round on Bianca. Crystal comes in and hits the Flashing Lights on Kaya. Zara hits Your Own Hell on Crystal. Danielle hits the Princess Kick on Zara. Lilith hits the Superknee Slingshot on Danielle. Lilith covers.

As the cameras return to ringside in preparation for the Main Event, we see General Manager LeeAnn Viskan standing by the Wheel of Mayhem on the stage with the devious smirk on her features.

Thea Crawford: The following contest is your Main Event and will be decided by the Wheel Of Mayhem!

The crowd pops in excitement before turning to boos as Lorde’s “Glory And Gore” comes on over the speakers and Josie “Abaddon” Bridal makes her entrance to the ring.

Thea Crawford: Introducing first, from God’s Country, weighing in at 180lbs. Representing the Children of Nephilim. This is…Abaddon!

The crowd’s cheers pick up as Porcelain & The Tramps’ “King Of The World” begins to play and Adrianna Salvatore walks out on stage but before Thea Crawford can begin to announce her, she throws off her entrance gear and hits the ring running. The crowd approves of her eagerness to get at Abaddon with a pop. So too does The Destroyer come sliding out of the ring and the two collide at ringside in a flurry of flying fists.

Seth Ernst: And these two aren’t gonna wait for the Wheel, Mir! They wanna go NOW!

Miranda Augustino: What’s gonna happen here, Seth?!

Up on stage, LeeAnn Viskan just chuckles with amusement, shrugs and spins the wheel. The dial clicks, the lights flash and the wheel comes to a slow stop on…

LeeAnn Viskan: Well well, look at that! You two are already at each other’s throats? The wheel has spoken! THIS IS A FUCKING FIRST BLOOD MATCH!! RING THE DAMN BELL!!


Seth Ernst: I don’t even know if they heard the woman, Miranda!

Miranda Augustino: Not over these bombs they’re throwing, Seth! Look at them!

Salvatore and Abaddon are just going HAM on the outside, trading closed fists back and forth, trying to knock one another either off balance or flat out cold. The exchange keeps on until Abaddon switches things up with a throat thrust, causing Salvatore to grab her own throat, gasping for air. Abaddon grabs her by the hair and whips her full throttle into the ringpost. Salvatore bounces off and practically wraps around it from the momentum and staggers back into the barricade. Abaddon roars and charges in, clotheslining her over into the front row. Abaddon throws down her hands and yells menacingly before just grabbing the section of the barricade and ripping it loose to get into the crowd as Salvatore struggles to get up. She grabs her by the hair and drags her to her feet, walking her over to the ring. Abaddon rolls Salvatore in and starts to crawl in after her. Salvatore scrambles to her feet and comes off the ropes! Full speed at Abaddon! G.R.B (Spear)!! NO!! Abaddon grabs her around the waist and braces her feet!! She doesn’t go down! Abaddon roars and Gutwrench Suplexes Salvatore overhead and into the mat! A thundering impact as she holds on and rolls to her feet, keeping her grip around her waist. She wrenches her up again into a Gutwrench Powerbomb and DRIVES Salvatore into the mat! She holds for the cover but Senior Official Yumi Akiyama waves it off, explaining to her that it’s a First Blood match. Abaddon hears this and her eyes light up with a sick delight as she gets to her feet. She taunts Salvatore before getting back out of the ring.

Seth Ernst: Look at Abaddon. You’d think Referee Akiyama just told her she’d won the lottery!

Abaddon yells at the time keeper to “get the fuck out of the way” and grabs his chair, snapping it closed.

Miranda Augustino: She’s gonna split Adrianna Salvatore’s skull wide open with that chair. I just know it!

Abaddon slides back into the ring as Salvatore staggers back to her feet. She comes in swinging but Salvatore lunges forward and under the chair. Abaddon spins around and brings the chair up! SUPERKICK from Salvatore, knocking the chair right back into her face! Abaddon drops the chair and stumbles into the ropes! She staggers forward! Salvatore comes off the ropes on the opposite side! ROGUE PLANET (V-Trigger)!! Abaddon drops down to a knee and leans back against the middle rope! Salvatore lines up again and comes in with a SECOND Rogue Planet!! She grabs up the steel chair but Abaddon rolls out of the ring to clear her senses. Salvatore follows her out and SMASHES her in the back with the steel chair! Referee Akiyama hurries out of the ring and follows them up the walkway towards the stage! Salvatore “guides” Abaddon up the walkway with repeated chair shots to the back. Abaddon eventually stumbles back against the center wall between the tunnels. Salvatore rushes forward for an overhead strike to the head but Abaddon catches the chair in her hands and kicks her in the stomach! She wrenches the chair from her hands and swings for the fences! Salvatore gets her arms up! CRACK!! The chair impacts and Salvatore goes down! Abaddon drops the chair and picks her up by the head, ragdolling her and throwing her against the screen on the wall. The outer layer of glass spiderwebs as Salvatore hits the floor!

Seth Ernst: That could be first blood if that glass breaks, Mir!

Miranda Augustino: No kidding!!

Abaddon lifts Salvatore up onto her shoulders for a Running Buckle Bomb like maneuver that sends her SLAMMING into the screen! The entire wall section gives way and Salvatore lands hard on her back, exposing Gorilla position behind the entryway!

Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME!

Salvatore writhes on the floor, rolling over onto her stomach. Fortunately for her, the splintered glass hasn’t cut into her bare back or shoulders but unfortunately, Abaddon’s right there to pick her back up by the hair and starts beating her back into Gorilla with right hands across the face. The referee and camera follow them back where backstage attendants see the fight spilling in and quickly scramble to get out of the way! Abaddon grabs Salvatore by the head and SLAMS her face into the interview table, dazing her before grabbing her by the throat for a chokeslam. As she goes to lift, Salvatore fights out of it, throwing elbows into the side of Abaddon’s head to break free. She manages and quickly capitalizes, setting up for a Vertical Suplex.

Miranda Augustino: Oh man, how great is the strength of the Walking Apocalypse, Seth?!

Seth Ernst: We’re gonna find out, I think, Mir! It looks to be pretty damn incredi–OH MY GOD!!

BIG Suplex through the table from Salvatore to Abaddon! Both women lay sprawled out on the floor, already feeling the early onset effects of having beat the shit out of each other.

Seth Ernst: This would be a great time to go for a cover if she could but she can’t! No one can! This match isn’t over until one of them is bleeding!

Miranda Augustino: I love wrestling, don’t get me wrong, but I love me a flat out fucking FIGHT too, Seth!

Seth Ernst: These fans are loving it too, Mir! This has been a match long overdue! Ever since Salvatore returned in December after being put on injury from her opponent here tonight! She suffered a horrific neck injury and was out for months!

Miranda Augustino: But you know like she says. You can’t stop the apocalypse! Only postpone it!

Salvatore sits up slowly, grimacing in pain as Abaddon writhes on the floor behind her. She grabs one of the beer bottles from the ice bucket set out for wrestlers after their match and smashes it against the floor. The crowd gives a mixed response: half support, half horror as Salvatore straddles Abaddon’s chest and stabs the broken bottle down at her head but Abaddon catches her hands and it becomes a desperate struggle! Salvatore yells something about Abaddon wanting to break her neck, so she’ll tear the flesh off her bones. She almost gets the bottle against her cheek when Abaddon gets a second wind and thrust her hips up, Monkey Flipping Salvatore up and over, onto the floor. Hard. Salvatore climbs to her feet and turns around. Abaddon, too, is back to a vertical position and she’s got that metal bucket by the handle. Abaddon swings it and just WHACKS her across the side of the head with it!! Salvatore staggers backwards and into a wall. Abaddon throws the bucket full force at her face. Salvatore blocks it with her hands but still slumps down to one knee. Now Abaddon picks up the broken bottle, grinning. She turns back towards her opponent and—G.R.B (Spear) THROUGH THE DOOR INTO THE HALLWAY!! The door doesn’t just fly open, it BUSTS loose off one of the hinges as they tumble out into the hallway leading to catering and the locker rooms! Salvatore gets into a mount and goes for a Ground & Pound. Abaddon gets the guard up before managing to grab her by the head and shoves her into the wall to the side. Salvatore grabs her head and fights to her feet. She makes it up but Abaddon comes at her with a Big Boot, kicking her back into Gorilla Position. Salvatore starts dragging herself across the floor, just trying to gain some distance so she can get her footing but Abaddon stalks after her, laughing wickedly. Salvatore shoves a broken half of the table in between them to give Abaddon an obstacle to get around. Abaddon grabs it and just tosses it out of the way as they make their way back towards the stage and the crowd.

Again, Abaddon moves Salvatore where she wants her to go with shots to the skull from her fists. They find their way back to ringside where Abaddon whips Salvatore into the apron so hard she winds up laying up along the edge. Abaddon climbs back into the ring and pulls Salvatore to her feet on the apron, facing the stage and crowd. She hooks her arms over the ropes, wraps one of hers around her neck and proceeds to club her in the chest with a forearm, over and over and over (ala Sheamus’ Beats Of The Bodhran). After seemingly knocking the wind out of her, Abaddon turns her around and starts looking to Suplex her inside the ring but Salvatore grabs her by the head and hits a Hangman onto the top rope! Abaddon stumbles back! Salvatore climbs up onto the apron and scales the top turnbuckle! Abaddon turns right into a Missile Dropkick! Salvatore pops up onto one knee and gives her own roar of triumph, finding her own second wind! She gets to her feet and drops down towards Abaddon for a Ranger Roll. Death Valley Driver? No!! ATOM BOMB (F5)!!

Crowd: FIGHT FOREVER!!

Salvatore rolls out of the ring and fishes underneath the apron, looking for something. The crowd pops when she draws out that very familiar looking black sack and slides back into the ring. Commentary doesn’t even need to ask what’s in it as they already know from prior experience. Surely enough, Adrianna dumps out a neat pile of thumbtacks onto the mat before tossing the bag aside. She calls for the finish, making a cut throat motion then a clicking motion with the same hand. The crowd yells with her:

Crowd: Click! BOOM TIME!

Salvatore picks Abaddon up, setting up for the Ground Zero (Vertical Suplex Powerbomb but she doesn’t get Abaddon up all the way and The Destroyer’s feet touch the mat again. Abaddon slips free and just HEADBUTTS Salvatore!! She staggers and Abaddon grabs her the wrist and whips her off the ropes. Salvatore rebounds off. Abaddon pops her into the air looking for Hell’s Maw (Popup European Uppercut) but SALVATORE CATCHES HER WITH TA-01 (Superman Punch)!! Abaddon sways!! Salvatore kicks her in the stomach!!! Hooks the arms!! THE IMPALER (Double Underhook Brainbuster)!! A VLAD BLACKHEART FINISHER!! RIGHT INTO THE THUMBTACKS!! The crowd goes wild as Referee Yumi Akiyama knows to hurry over and check as Salvatore rolls away with some thumbtacks stuck in her pants. She goes to check on Abaddon who rolls onto her back with thumbtacks riddling her forehead and trickles of blood appearing on her skin. She calls for the bell and this one’s over!


Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen! Your winner, as a result of First Blood!! Adrianna Salvatore!!

Seth Ernst: My god what a match, Mir!! What!!! A!!! Match!!!

Miranda Augustino: That was every bit the war we expected these two to have, Seth!! And I doubt things are finished between The Children of Nephilim and Atlas’ team!!

As both women recover, the Children of Nephilim make an appearance in the form of Asmodeus and Bene Elohim. The three sliding into the ring to check on Abaddon while also looking ready to stalk towards Adrianna Salvatore but before they can get too close, Atlas, Lluvia Salvatore and Dane Preston come hurrying down to ringside to pull Adrianna out of the ring under the bottom rope. Lluvia and Dane let Adrianna lean on them with her arms over their necks while Atlas opens his arms out to the Children as if to ask if they’ve had enough yet. There’s a staredown between the two sides as the credits roll and the show comes to an end.
