Having met in the ring before, Dawn and Kristina were no strangers to each other or each other’s style. The two women circled each other before locking up in the middle of the ring in a traditional battle for dominance. Kristina was able to use her slight advantage to her advantage, however, as she grabbed Dawn and suplexed her hard to the mat. Dawn was quick to get back to her feet only to be met with an attempted dropkick which she quickly moved out of the way of. When Kristina was back on her feet, she was met with a vicious dropkick that sent her stumbling back but didn't knock her down. Lohan was quick to return to her feet, but she was met with a charging Spencer who nailed her with a hard super kick right to the jaw! Kristina took advantage of Dawn grabbing her jaw while stumbling back by running up to her and executing a beautiful belly-to-belly suplex, throwing Lohan back with as much strength as she could. Dawn's back arched slightly from the impact of it hitting the mat, and she somewhat slowly stirred to get back to her feet.Kristina stalked Dawn with a smirk, watching as the woman began getting back to her feet once again. She ran towards the other woman and went for an enziguri, but Lohan was quick to roll away before the move could be executed. Dawn was back to her feet, and the two women ended up in a lock up again. While Kristina hoped for the same outcome as the beginning of the match, Dawn surprised her with a hard arm drag takedown, wrenching her arm around some after she had her down on the mat. Lohan let up on the arm wrench only to drag Spencer to her feet and throw her into the corner hard. Upon the impact, Dawn charged at Kristina, nailing her with some high knees that caused the other woman to slump down to the mat in the process. After seeing her down in the corner, Dawn backed up only to come back and nail Kristina with a vicious Through the Looking Glass. The super kick connected, and Lohan immediately looked to the ropes climbing them to the top. She glanced down at Spencer, making sure she was still down, before she she leaped off and nailed her with a beautiful and vicious A New Dawn! The 450 splash connected, and Dawn went for the pin!

NFW Employee: “Great. I gotta say, it’s weird learning upper management’s changing merch during a show. Usually, there’s an email or something.”
Taryn: [shrugging] “I think they wanna go a new direction with some of this stuff, y’know. Some of it’s selling great, but the numbers could be better. The goal is to reach Trauma’s numbers. Gotta shoot big. What’s first on that list?”
The employee pulls a folded paper his pocket and reads it.
NFW Employee: “Uh, I was told we’re getting new Caleb Foster shirts?”
Taryn nods as she opens as she pulls a shirt from a box. It’s colored like a light leather and has a pattern of human wrinkles. The employee looks concerned.
NFW Employee: “What’s that?”
Taryn: “Oh, see, marketin’ wants people to feel like Caleb is more personal to the fans. Like, he’s right there with ‘em.” [She looks down at the shirt.] “So they made a shirt that’s nothin’ but close-ups of his crows feet.”
Taryn dumps the rest of the packaged Caleb shirts on a counter as the employee looks at the note again.
NFW Employee: “Next, there’s s’posed to be some new Kristina Spencer merch?”
Taryn: [sounding excited] “Oh, yeah! This one’s kinda fun and unique!” [She opens a box and pulls out a Precious Moments version of Kristina Spencer, holding it in her hand. “The Kristina Spencer Nightlight. Great for the little kiddies.”
The NFW Employee takes it and turns it over in his hands.
NFW Employee: “There’s no plug or place for batteries.”
Taryn: “Well, she’s the Empress of Darkness, y’know. Wouldn’t make sense if it lit up.”
Taryn grabs a pile of Kerry Family merch and dump it in the trash, putting nightlights in it’s place as the employee returns to the list.
NFW Employee: “Ida Matsuda bobble heads?”
Taryn nods, ripping open another box. She pulls out a crude looking bobble head with a paper cut out of Ida’s face on it. The NFW employee takes it, looking concerned, while Taryn dumps a bunch of Dawn Lohan merch into the trash and starts replacing it with bobble heads. The employee pulls the paper mask off of the figurine, revealing it’s actually a Lucky the Leprechaun bobble head. He looks up at Taryn, bewildered, who holds her hands up.
Taryn: “Look, Emerald Empress. Saint Patrick’s day is coin’ up. Sometimes ya repurpose stuff for an occasion. Take it up with higher ups. Anything else?”
The employee looks at the list.
NFW Employee: “We’re supposed to be getting new Diamond Steele shirts since she’s got the Zodiac belt now?”
Taryn: [nodding as she opens the last box] “Yeah, these are nice. I think they really capture her essence.”
Taryn pulls a shirt out and the camera zooms in. The top of the shirt says, “Diamonds are Forever,” just above a gorgeous shot of Diamond posing with the Zodiac belt. The camera slowly pans down to reveal what’s under Diamond’s picture, the words, “And so is Herpes.”
NFW Employee: “Uh…”
Taryn: “Look, they’re just sayin’ her reign will be as endless and as aggressive as an incurable skin disorder spread through sexual contact. It’s actually meant to be kinda hardcore. Y’know, ‘Oh, she’s dangerous. She’s eternal. She’s herpetic.”
Taryn dumps all the old Diamond shirts into an empty box and replaces them with the new ones.
NFW Employee: [unsure] “I guess. I’m still not sure--”
Taryn: “Ya ain’t paid to be sure. You’re paid to sell. Now, dispose of the old Diamond shirts. Management don’t want the new champ being disrespected with old shirts.”
Taryn hands the employee a book of matches, then douses the box of shirts in lighter fluid. The employee nervously picks the box up.
Taryn: “Go on! Before customers come! Get goin’!”
The employee nods and vanishes off camera with the box of old shirts. Taryn leaves the merch booth and watches the employee vanish down the hall before removing her wig and glasses, revealing herself to be Trixie Decker. She smiles at the camera.
Trixie Decker: “Remember, kids. Just because you’re not booked doesn’t mean you can’t steal the show.”
Trixie blows a kiss and cheerfully skips out of view as the camera goes black.

But before she can roll Lester in victory roll he counters with a Facebuster! Sending Rose’s face hits to the mat! Lester throw Rose’s legs away from him before get back to his feets and grabs Rose’s hair and pulls Rose back to her feets again and whips she to the corner before Lester charging in and connects with a Running Knee Strike! But Rose ducks under it! Making Lester’s knee hits the turnbuckle making him yelled in pain and hold his knee in pain but Rose running towards the rope and connects with a Handspring Back Elbow! BOOM!! Vebbins is nailed from behind by Rowena Byrne, who’s wielding a black baton wrapped in a thin chain! She goes down onto the walkway! The crowd boos and the music stops. Rowena lunges at the fan who was puckering up, causing him to jump back. She turns on Vebbins again and strikes her a few more times with the baton until the referee for the match runs out of the ring to try and pull her away but Byrne shoves the official off of her.
Lucas Knox: She just shoved the official!
Olivia Mayfaire: For fuck’s sake, Rowena Byrne is out of control!!
More referees come out to try and break up the situation which has clearly gotten out of control now. However, Byrne manages to pick Vebbins up into the setup for “Visions Of Insanity” (Sister Abigail) and swings her face down right onto the floor itself! She stands up and snatches up her chain wrapped baton again, grinning sadistically down at her would-be opponent. Finally, the referees are able to get in between her and Vebbins to stop the chaos. Byrne steps back, spreading her arms and letting out a banshee like shriek as she backs her way up towards the stage.
Lucas Knox: This was supposed to be a match, not a street style attack!

Tanja Devereaux: It is 2023 and it is a New Year for everyone on the brand and it is a new year for many to have a new chance for the roster.
The 2 women standing behind her stopped and watched Tanja as she continued to speak.
Tanja Devereaux: We have had our time to think things through since Re-Arranged and our match against Ronnie Lester on Destiny. Like many on this brand, we have a lot to think about our future. We only joined the company AND the brand during the 4th quarter of 2022 and we could not fully show what we are capable of.
Tanja stops briefly as the 3 women feel a slight breeze flow around them and they begin to hear the whispers from the Loa fill her mind.The women chant quietly before Tanja spoke again.
Tanja Devereaux: There are many that think differently of us because of our spiritual path of following the ways of the Loa and of Voudou. It is something that we have grown accustomed to since we began to be more overt with our beliefs. It is nothing but DISRESPECTFUL for someone to not allow someone to follow their spiritual path without discrimination. It is something that we see with our opponent in the former Destiny Champion and angry little pup Alastair Frost.
She hissed quietly under her breath after the mentioning of her opponent and the banter they had on Twitter.
Tanja Devereaux: He only sees things as someone who lives in a secular world and judges people based on his military training. We have no problems with people who serve to protect the rights and freedoms that people deserve but the problem we see with Mr. Frost is that he doesn’t consider the right to practice our religion FREELY! He must still be upset over the fact that he lost the Destiny title and he couldn’t claim the MU title from Crystal while representing NFW.
A sing-song laugh is heard from the Cajun as she sent the dig to Alastair about his recent goes in the ring were not good for him.
Tanja Devereaux: We are surprised that the Wolves of Odin allowed him into their midst when he is no longer champion and couldn’t bring new gold to the stable after he joined them. They must look past the fact that he is still in the forces when they extended the offer to him.
Tanja turned to the women and entered a private conversation about certain matters before she headed down to the ring.

Right after the incident between Rowena and Azurine, Widow was pissed.
So, she grabs a mic and heads out to the ring. As her music hits, she makes the motion for it to be cut as she gets into the ring and turns to face the staging area.
Widow: “Rowena! Get your ass out here… NOW!”
She begins to pace back and forth across the ring as she waits. After a few moments, Rowena’s music starts but ends just as quickly as Rowena rips the curtains back and appears on stage.
Rowena Byrne: “Are you finally going to give me what I want, Widow? Or do I have to keep hurting people?”
The snarl of anger is very clear on Widow’s face as she glares at Rowena. That glare is full of venom and hatred as she lifts the mic up.
Widow: “No. However, since you keep pulling your little stunts week after week… You’re going to be pulling triple duty. You had tonight’s show. You’ll have every single show from now until Forsaken… And now?”
She smiles darkly.
Widow: “Now, you will be facing Jenn Drew at Rise of Legends on the 28th. With… A caveat.”
It was Rowena’s turn to be pissed.
Rowena Byrne: “THAT ISN’T WHAT I WANT!!! I WANT A HARDCORE BELT!”
Widow: “I don’t give a fuck what you WANT, Rowena. What you’re GETTING is a match at Rise of Legends. And the stipulation…”
Widow smirked.
Widow: “Pure Rules.”

Widow: “And, if you try to get yourself disqualified by trying to pull your typical bullshit… Each and every match you’re in from now until Forsaken.. Will be Pure Rules, as well.”
This just pissed Rowena off even more!
Widow: “And, since I have you here… Your match at Forsaken will be a Fatal Fourway. You versus Tanja Devereaux versus SEPULVEDA versus Azurine Vebbins.”
She walks over to the ropes and leans toward the woman.
Widow: “And if you keep it up… I’ll make THAT match a Pure Rules as well.”
Widow finally steps between the ropes and makes her way up the ramp. Stopping right in front of Rowena. She stands there staring at the woman for a few moments.
Widow: “Keep fucking with me, Rowena. See what happens.”
Widow flips the mic to Rowena and steps around her. Heading to the back once again.
Lucas Knox: “Ho-Ly fuck!”
Olivia Mayfaire: “Widow just bitch slapped Rowena Byrne in the worst possible way!”

Alastair Frost: Yes, I am coming out in order to speak to the ungrateful civilians that are here in Chicago before my match this evening.
It showed that the audience was not taking too kindly to Alastair’s proclamation to them but he brushed them off.
Alastair Frost: Everyone may have a lot of questions on why I align myself with the Wolves of Odin. The only ones who have the answers to those questions are myself and the Wolves. A reminder to everyone is that the Wolves bow down to NO ONE and this Lone Wolf is no different.
The audience showed their disapproval to Alastair with their boos but they still wanted their answers from the Nomad Charter president.
Alastair Frost: The building of the Nomad Charter is a slow process but it is important for any president of a Charter to find the suitable people to join this unit. The new officers for this charter will be revealed in time.
There were gasps of surprise but Alastair did not care to give any form of reaction to them as he remained focused.
Alastair Frost: Tonight I am facing someone whom I faced while I was Destiny Champion and defeated her with ease, Tanja Devereaux. She can try to make everyone believe the woo woo magic shit that she shows off for all to see. She is nothing but a FRAUD and is nothing but a thorn in my side.
A loud snarling growl of anger is heard from the microphone as Alastair didn’t like having to deal with Tanja in the match.
Alastair Frost: I may have dealt with foreign terrorists in the past as I was stationed overseas but this is a rare time that I have dealt with a DOMESTIC terrorist. Tanja cannot and should not be allowed to thrive on this brand and I will have no problems putting her down so that this Bull Shit doesn’t spread to anyone else….

Josh Davidson: But Rowena is one of the most dangerous people on this roster. Her father is a legend in the death match scene and you haven't faced someone like her yet.
Jenn and Kaede look at each other and the two of them just laugh.
Kaede Tanabe: Do you know Jenn's history in this industry?

Jenn Drew: Obviously you don't. I've been through the ringer over the years in this industry. I'm not afraid to get a little violent and sadistic. I've held hardcore titles, I've competed in dangerous matches and Rowena, she's just another person who thinks she's hot shit because of who her Daddy is.
