Abigail Lindsay: “A lot has happened since Wrestle War, am I right?”Abigail flirtatiously giggles.
Abigail Lindsay: “I can wax poetic about how great it has been to live in The Castle. Sharing all the splendid and juicy details would make for great reading material. I don’t want to come across like I’m bragging. Sounding like the high school jock who storms the hallways screaming how he gets laid all the time is not my style. I’m an adult. Shouldn’t I be above all that? I’ll allow your imagination to run wild. But what I will comment on is last week.”
“Jaime. You have been a bad, bad girl.”
Abigail glares into the camera. She wags her finger.
Abigail Lindsay: “Costing your sister the Silver Mountain Championship. Taking liberties with River after the bell? Naughty Jamie. And not in a good way. Turning your back on your own flesh and blood isn’t kosher. Betraying the family who has been nothing but good to me? Shame on you.
“The Kingdom didn’t need to welcome me into their family with open arms. A different lifetime ago, I stood opposed to them. Likely uttered a few not so nice things along the way. Competition tends to do that. From day one, early disagreements aside, I always respected the bond everyone in The Kingdom shared. The fire. The passion. The love. Even when they disagree with each other. This is a family. I was the girl who was crazy enough to ask, ‘So, where do I sign up?’ I had nothing to lose. My life was a mess. Professionally being one half of the WORLD tag team champions was cool. Personally? I was alone. The Kingdom provided me a safe haven where I feel I belong.”
Abigail smiles. She places her hand over her heart.
Abigail Lindsay: “Jamie. You attacked my family. So now? We got issues. If you’re feeling froggy, hey, this is professional wrestling, at the end of the day this isn’t rocket science. Want payback for a week ago? You’ll know where I’ll be.”
Abigail Lindsay winks. She saunters off as the scene fades to black.
==========================================================
A loud purrrrrrrrrring engine can be heard from somewhere in the arena. The chorus of "Wreak Havoc" by Skylar Grey begins the play. Suddenly, a motorcycle burst from backstage. It stops at the top of the ramp, the person driving the motorcycle briefly takes off her helmet, revealing herself to be Abigail Lindsay.
She places the helmet back on and drives down to the ringside area. She circles the ring twice. The bike comes to a halt. Serenity slides off, takes off her helmet. She hops on the apron apron, proving how flexible she is she lifts one leg off, then drops down in a full split. she slides under the bottom rope. She slumps down into the corner waiting for the match to start.
Nick Hanson: Abigail Lindsay looking ready to rock tonight, Jimmy! Dunno if you saw it on social media, but she sounded pretty excited to have this first-time-ever match as she called it!
Jim Reynolds: I mean, I’d be excited to lay hands on Zoey Madigan-Star, too-
Nick Hanson: Well, THAT didn’t take long. Can I count on you to be at least quasi-professional tonight?
Jim Reynolds: Ehhhh… no.
The crowd continues to give Abigail a nice reaction, though that tapers off as the lights dim. Their reactions become far more mixed, knowing who’s coming.
Jim Reynolds: Fickle-ass people. I know you’re gonna try and call me on giving her shit up to this point-
Nick Hanson: No “try” about it!
Jim Reynolds: -but I’m eager to see what Miss Magic does tonight! Let’s see her unleash some magical malice!
The soft clicking of a music box crank can be heard, followed by soft, tinkling notes. After a few, they start to repeat before synthesizer and hard guitars hit. In the process of this, the lights dim but do not darken, with brighter lights shining up from beneath the stage through a purple haze.
"Stand in the front but shut up 'til I tell you to go
And don't get caught up in pretend, 'cause you're not in control
'Cause this is my world, little girl, you'd be lost on your own
Just hating and waiting and saving up"
And don't get caught up in pretend, 'cause you're not in control
'Cause this is my world, little girl, you'd be lost on your own
Just hating and waiting and saving up"
Evanescence's "Better Without You" gets fully underway and a silhouette steps into view against the white lights shining beneath the big screen, framing the entrance to the stage. A top-hatted figure walks into view with hips popping stylishly. They come to the top of the ramp, amidst the dissipating smoke, and take a bow while sweeping the hat off. It's tossed aside, along with her wand, both disappearing into thin air. The lights burst back to full strength, tinged with the same purple in the form of a spotlight following the revealed Zoey Madigan-Star as she heads down to the ring.
"I'll do you a favor and save you if you sign on the line
Don't worry your pretty little head about the future; it's all fine
Whether you're wrong or you're right doesn't matter; you're not up to the fight
Keeping my head down 'cause they don't know... what I know now
As empires fall to pieces
Our ashes twisting in the air
It makes me smile to know that
I'm better without you"
Don't worry your pretty little head about the future; it's all fine
Whether you're wrong or you're right doesn't matter; you're not up to the fight
Keeping my head down 'cause they don't know... what I know now
As empires fall to pieces
Our ashes twisting in the air
It makes me smile to know that
I'm better without you"
Somewhat uncharacteristically, Zoey does not meet the hands of the fans as she makes her way to the apron, turning to ascend the steps, wipe her soles on the apron and enter the squared circle. For certain they're offered smiles and a wave or two, but that's all; a far cry from what once was. There's a certain sharpness to her stare now, and a chill, too. She ascends the turnbuckles briefly after entering the ring, staring out at the fans before dropping down to the canvas, landing lightly. Walking to the corner, she removes her gloves and puts them into her hat which, like her wand, has somehow reappeared under the turnbuckles. Sitting on the top turnbuckle now, she crosses one leg over the other and relaxes, awaiting the start of the match with a calculating eye.
Nick Hanson: The change in Zoey over the past several months has been, in a word, sad. Long-time fans of her who remember how she used to be don’t know what to make of it except that they don’t like it.
Jim Reynolds: Who’d care about courting them anymore? They love it when you’re fighting from below, then once you’re on top they turn on you. And if you dare tell ‘em the truth, they reject it AND you!
Nick Hanson: That’s unfortunately true. And it extends to your opponents as well.
Jim Reynolds: That’s their mistake, then. Tell ya what, though: Abigail right now? She’s locked in. She wants to make the most of this fight and I’m here for it!
Abigail does look pretty intense; full of confidence and wearing a big smile. Zoey drops down from the buckles as her theme fades out, walking up to the center of the ring to meet her opponent. looking quite severe, though that doesn’t seem to be directed at Abigail as she willingly shakes the woman’s hand when it is offered. The two women back off to their respective corners-
~ DING DING DING~
-and the bell tolls to start the match!
The two women lock up tightly in a collar-and-elbow, shoving for several moments before the stronger Abigail sends Zoey to the mat hard with a mighty push! Zoey rolls backwards and comes up to a knee, golden eyes staring right at Lindsay. Abigail is smirking, but only a little bit, seemingly not wanting to get too arrogant. Zoey’s back to her feet in a moment and they lock up again. Zoey gets behind Abigail and waistlocks her, picking her up and driving her to the mat chest-first, transitioning into a front facelock. Abigail is quick to get to her feet, though, countering into an arm wringer. Zoey twists and counters out herself, twisting and tumbling and coming up with a hammerlock on Lindsay. Grabbing the head from behind, Abigail leaves her feet and looks to come down with a modified snapmare but Zoey puts on the brakes, trying to pull Abigail back into a dragon sleeper! An overhead kick makes Zoey rear back to avoid the hit, thus allowing Abigail to twist around and hit a Northern Lights suplex on Zoey, bridging into a pin attempt that only goes to one. Zoey kips up quickly, attempting a back leg sweep that Abigail hops over before she narrowly ducks a spinning hook kick from the Sorceress Supreme. Abigail charges in, waistlocks Zoey, and hurls her with a belly-to-belly overhead suplex… but Madigan-Star lands on her feet! A spinning back kick halts Lindsay’s charge, but the Irish whip attempt is countered with Lindsay coming within a literal hair of wiping Zoey out with a short-arm clothesline! Ducking under, Zoey keeps hold of the arm and yanks Abigail forward, with her Walk of Shame being evaded just as narrowly! Both women stay in motion, hitting the ropes and colliding mid-ring with shoulderblocks that only stagger each other though Zoey clearly takes a harder hit! Zoey ducks the Serene Kick and Abigail shoves Zoey out of her Trap Chamber as the back-and-forth continues, not ending until they collide with simultaneous boots to the face, dropping both women to the canvas!
Both take a moment to come around, and once they do the fight is on again. A third lock-up commences and Zoey finds herself in a straightjacket hold, refusing any offers of submission from the official. Managing to flip backwards, she turns it into a pinning combination, forcing a break from Abigail. Up and around, Abigail looks to knock Zoey down with a clothesline but Zoey snares the arm, forcing Abigail down with a Fujiwara armbar. A foot over the ropes forces a break, after the referee counts to three anyway, but Zoey stays on Abigail, this time grabbing the arm and wrenching hard, giving it a few twists. She weathers a few stiff forearms to the jaw before executing a double-knee armbreaker on Lindsay. Abigail backs into the corner and Zoey moves to pursue, throwing a few kicks to the right shoulder before snaring the arm again, giving it another twist and looking for a crossface chickenwing. Abigail counters out with a backdrop suplex and a discus clothesline, though the latter hurts almost as much as it helps. Zoey is trying to shake off the heavy shots but Taking a Ride drives her down and leads to a two-count for Abigail. She pulls Zoey back up and keeps things in her favor by likewise attacking Zoey’s arm, dragging her to the ropes and vaulting over the top, hyperextending the Sorceress Supreme’s arm over the top rope. The rope-hung figure-four armlock follows but Zoey is able to hold on until Abigail is forced to break the hold.
Damage is done, though, and Abigail mercilessly works over that limb until Zoey is able to send her shoulder-first into the buckles. A hammerlock scoop slam follows, but Zoey isn’t able to keep up the pace for a few moments, needing a moment to recover. This is enough to let Abigail counter out when the attack is resumed, an arm wringer followed by a few hard kicks to the chest keeping Zoey in trouble. Brought up to her feet, Zoey is measured by Abigail, who charges in with a big lariat! Zoey arches backwards to avoid the move, whirling around to catch Abigail and scoop her up, albeit with some difficulty, delivering the Exit Stage Left!

Glowering, Zoey sets Abigail up for a delayed vertical suplex, but her arm gives in on her midway through and Abigail twists out, landing on her feet behind Zoey! Bite of the Dragon is loaded up mid-ring and Zoey shrieks in pain, though she still refuses to submit! Abigail, enjoying the moment, wrenches back further but Zoey manages to force them all the way back, necessitating Abigail pushing her own shoulder up to break the count! Twisting out of Abigail’s grip, Zoey rolls out of the ring to get some air. Abigail follows but Zoey slides back in first, going to meet Abigail on the apron! Her assault is countered, though, leading to the New Eden by Lindsay!

Dragging Zoey up, Abigail whips her into the buckles hard but misses the big charge when Zoey slips between the top and middle rope! Zoey rolls her up for a near-fall and catches Abigail with the Trap Chamber when she kicks out! Snaring the arm, Zoey loads up the Seeing Stars… but Abigail powers Zoey into the air and shoves her away! Barreling in, Zoey gets booted low and twisted backwards, primed for SERENITY NOW! Abigail flips up but Zoey grabs the middle rope, pulling up straight and catching Abigail over her shoulder! An Argentine backbreaker drop is loaded up but Abigail slides out, driving a knee into the back and sending Zoey chest-first into the buckles! SERENITY NOW is attempted a second time but a release exploder into the buckles dumps Lindsay on her head! Zoey pulls her up, drapes the arm and falls back into the Seeing Stars! Pinfall by Zoey!

Zoey rolls off Abigail, spent but at least somewhat pleased with the hard-fought win. She doesn’t wait around to get her arm raised, though. She instead leaves the ring and starts heading backstage to the same mixed reaction she received on her way out. Halfway up the ramp, though, someone comes charging down and toward the ring, almost bumping into Zoey en route! The at-first unknown woman slides in under the ropes and makes a beeline for the downed Abigail, mounting her and laying in hard shots to the head!
Nick Hanson: Jamie Austin! What the hell is she doing?! Abigail just finished a grueling match!
Jim Reynolds: Making a statement, apparently! It’s called picking your spot, Nicky!
Boos rain down on Jamie, heavier than any reaction Zoey was getting. The Sorceress Supreme pauses, though, as Jamie goes charging past. Yet upon seeing the beatdown going on in the right, there’s a moment where she seems to consider helping… but instead she heads backstage! Jamie continues tearing into Abigail, shoving the official aside! Agents and more referees come rushing down to the ring to break things up as Abigail starts fighting back, separating the two women though neither wants to let that happen!
Nick Hanson: This needs to be settled soon between these two, Jimmy!
Jim Reynolds: Let ‘em fight, I say!
Winner: Zoey Madigan-Star

AMC: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Better yet, who is the toughest of them all? Who will win this triple threat and be one step closer to getting what they want?
At this time AMC’s personal assistant Tiffani Davis walks over and hands AMC a drink
Tiffany Davis: Well if that mirror could talk I am sure that the answer to all three of those questions would be AMC.
AMC smiles at her assistant
AMC: That is why I like you Tiff, you know all the right answers and you know exactly when to tell the right answers.
AMC continues fussing with her hair
AMC: Two weeks ago I arrived in NFW and made it very clear that this was just the beginning of the Era of Chase. I then went on to beat the shit out of some poor soul and I did so in such an impressive way that Jessica Morian had no choice but to put me in this Perseverance Title Qualifier match tonight.
AMC takes a sip of her beverage
Tiffani Davis: Obviously Ms Morian is smarter than most of the General Managers you have had to deal with in this business.
AMC smirks
AMC: Tonight I have two opponents, one who I care nothing about named Jenny Williams and the second one is Jessica Matthews who I consider a friend. However I meant what I said two weeks ago Jessie! Friend or Foe if you are in my way of what i desire then you become a problem that i will solve one way or another! So Jess do the right thing and team up with me to destroy Jenny Williams and then just walk away. No need for us to fight, no need for injury or violence, no need to ruin a perfectly good friendship. So what do you say Jess? Will you do the right thing?
AMC gets up from her seat and polishes off her beverage
AMC: Or will you make me do something I really don't want to do? The choice is yours cutie.
AMC blows a kiss toward the camera and walks off followed by her smirking Assistant.

A roving backstage camera, leading one to wonder just how damn many of these the bosses have wandering around hoping to catch juicy moments for the rabid fan base, happens across a quiet section of hallway in the arena’s bowels. The lights are a little dimmer and there’s a natural foreboding in the air. Not quite horror movie material, but it wouldn’t be out of place in a crime drama. Of course, this is neither: what’s found is not some hapless hostage or slasher victim, but instead the form of a certain someone…...now isn’t the time for this. Do you realize what would happen if you just showed up out of the blue? The questions? The accusations? The sheer, unadulterated chaos? No one could spin that!
…that someone being NFW’s resident Sorceress Supreme, Zoey Madigan-Star. Some time removed from her match with Abigail Lindsay, she’s taking a phone call, still in her ring gear. Clearly it’s of some importance if the locale is any indicator.
She listens to the response from the other end of the phone for a few moments. Her back is mostly to the camera at this point, but she lifts a hand to her face in the midst of listening and there’s no mistaking that said gesture is pushing aside some liquid emotion.
Zoey Madigan-Star: Look, I miss you, too. Now more than ever. But… not yet. The time isn’t right.
She takes a few deep breaths to compose herself, managing for the most part.
Zoey Madigan-Star: How’s therapy going? Yeah? Good. Good… it’s nice to hear some positive news. What? Oh…
Shaking her head a bit, Zoey lets out a weak chuckle, trying to sound reassuring.
Zoey Madigan-Star: Don’t worry about me. Things are under control. I got this.
Listening for a minute, Zoey leans against the wall again, giving the other person time to finish talking. Taking a breath, she nods, mostly to herself, and responds.
Zoey Madigan-Star: I’ll be back in Malibu. I think… I think it’s time we got you home and see how all that works out. Yes, I know that you’re scared, which is something I never thought I’d say in reference to you, but… it has to be done. Don’t worry; I’ll be right there with you. Yes, I promise.
It’s at this point that Zoey sees the camera watching her and her tear-stained expression twists into one of sheer irritation, bordering on anger. Eyes locked on the camera and the person holding it, she mutters into the phone…
Zoey Madigan-Star: We’ll talk later.
…before hanging up.
Zoey Madigan-Star: Looking for a scoop, are we? Was my match earlier not enough to show you how serious I am about following my words last time with action? Get out of my way!
And she brushes forcefully past the camera, storming off down the hallway.

~DING DING DING~
The bell sounds and immediately, the three women circle the ring before AMC rolls out of the ring and she tells Jenny and Jessica to fight it out. The other two ladies circle the ring as we pan to Dane sitting with Nick and James at the commentary table. The two of them lock up and immediately, Jessica goes behind and picks Jenny up, slamming her to the mat and as soon as this happens, AMC rolls back in and grabs Jessica by the tights and tries to roll her up, but only manages a one count off it. Jessica gets back up to her feet and tries to grab AMC, but she manages to slip out of the grasp of Jessica and roll back out to the floor. As Jessica looks on, Jenny is back up to her feet and hits Jessica from behind, dropping her to her knees. Jenny hits the ropes and comes in, hitting a sliding clothesline before AMC comes back into the ring, grabbing Jenny and delivering a scorpion death drop before she goes for another cover, but only gets another one count on Jenny this time.
AMC picks Jenny up and throws her over the top rope, dumping her out to the floor as she turns her attention to Jessica. She picks Jessica up and sends her into the ropes. Jessica rebounds off the ropes and slides between the legs of AMC before getting up and delivering a neckbreaker to AMC before she picks the woman up and hits her with ripcord elbow smash and follows it up with a bridging German suplex, but AMC gets a shoulder up at two. Jessica gets to her feet as AMC rolls out of the ring. Jessica sees both her and Jenny on the same side, the two of them starting to brawl a little bit as she climbs to the top rope. She looks down at the two and leaps, hitting a diving crossbody onto both ladies on the floor. She picks AMC up and rolls her back into the ring before climbing to the top rope. Jessica leaps and delivers a frog splash and goes for a cover, but Jenny is in to break up the pin.
Jenny grabs Jessica and tosses her out of the ring now and goes to pick AMC up, but AMC delivers a poke to the eyes, causing Jenny to stumble back and it allows AMC to get up to her feet and deliver a swinging neckbreaker. She then grabs Jenny and delivers a Name Dropper and goes for a cover, but Jenny gets a shoulder up at two. AMC picks Jenny back up and sends her into the ropes, Jenny ducks a clothesline attempt and delivers a snap DDT as AMC turns around. Jessica is getting up to the apron and Jenny rushes in, delivering a dropkick that drops Jessica down to the floor once again. She turns her attention back to AMC before she delivers Executive Decision and hooks the leg, getting the three count.

ANARCHY!
NOW THAT'S FUN!
CHAOS!
ANARCHY!
NOW THAT'S FUN!
The lights go back on and the crowd starts booing as “Chaos is my life” by The Exploited starts to play and Johnny Towers is seen walking through the crowd, whoever was not booing the man is screaming obscenities and sticking their middle fingers up at him which is doing nothing but making him laugh as he walks down the stairs.
Jim Reynolds: That is a gutsy move still coming in through the crowd considering what he pulled last time he was on this show.
Nick Hanson: He burnt the Silver Mountain title to a crisp and from what I was told was banned from the building last week for the safety of everyone in the building because of how high the tensions were.
Jim Reynolds: Yeah he has never tried to make friends here in NFW but after last time I think that has taken it up a notch.
Towers getting to the guard rail hops over it and walks over to the announcer taking the microphone from their hands before sliding into the ring as his music fades out as he stands up and looks around the crowd who is still giving him a giant torrent of boos.
Johnny Towers: Shut the fuck up ya wankers, do ya think I care what ya all think of me?
This doesn't help matters as the boos keep on coming, one or two people start throwing empty water bottles in the ring also.
Johnny Towers: Yeah keep going ya cunts with that shit and get kicked out.
Several more security guards are seen going around the ringside area.
Johnny Towers: Now then considering I wasn't fully finished last time i'll continue, the past is dead and burned and this right here is the future.
He holds up the custom title over his head for a moment before placing it back on his shoulder.
Johnny Towers: This right here is my title, this right here is THE! Title now in NFW and this its name is The Mayfair Hooligan Championship, This is going to be mine for a long time i can promise you all that mother fuckers, because anyone who wants this off me will have to take this off my cold dead hands to do so and believe me when i fucking say this I am unkillable TRUST ME!
He paces around the ring looking out at the fans who are fuming mad who have started chanting “FUCK YOU TOWERS!”
Johnny Towers: Fuck you too people, now that reminds me. All you twitter warriors who were wanting to pick a fight I'M RIGHT HERE!
He turns to the ramp looking up like he's expecting someone to come out.
Johnny Towers: What nothing? How am i not fucking shocked ya fucking pricks, Ill tell ya what you can get all mad online but when it comes down to it none of you want this pain, ya can all talk about how OH TOWERS YOURE GONNA GET FUCKING WRECKED! Hey Towers youre a stupid mother fucker, blah, blah, blah like I havent heard these words over and over again. One person was even going as far as saying they wanted to start a petition to get me stripped of this title.
He pauses a moment and taps the microphone off his head a couple of times.
Johnny Towers: YA FUCKING WHAT! Seriously Marilyn ya can't get the guts to come up to my face and say this shit? Tell ya what I'll even sign the petition myself because just look at peoples attempts to get Amber Turd out of Aquaman 2, one of the most signed protests in history and her skanky ass is still gonna be in that movie and I am still gonna be champion, ya see ya may as well wish upon a fucking shooting star for all the good its gonna do and you got a problem with that I aint hard to fucking find, and now onto Morgan fucking…
Suddenly the microphone gets cut off as Towers shouts “WHAT THE FUCK!” as security swarms around the ring.
Nick Hanson: I've just been informed Towers was not meant to be out now and they have sent these people out to escort him to the back.
The screen fades out as Towers throws the microphone over his head and rolls out the ring to where the security guards are leaving the arena.

“Pardon me, young lady.”
It must come as a surprise -- the voice almost seems to come out of nowhere. One second of looking up to see no one; one second of returning back to the book… and then glancing up, Morgan sees a man sitting across the table from her. Casual red and white flannel, a pair of Levis denim blue jeans, a leather belt with a fleur de lis-shaped buckle, and a pair of red Converse sneakers adorn him. Actually, he looks familiar… and he has a backstage pass hanging around his neck, offering a friendly smile.
Early 40’s Gentleman: Ain’t no mistakin’. You’re Ms. Morgan Payne.
Morgan’s eyes linger on the man for a moment, trying to place where she recognizes him from. As she does, she lifts a bookmark from the table, beside her water bottle and places it carefully inside the spine of the book before closing it and setting it down in front of her - Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War.” Morgan eyes the man carefully. It’s uncertain as to whether she’s uncomfortable or simply on guard. After all, he looks like he can more than handle himself.
Morgan Payne Yeah. Somethin’ you need?
There’s no rudeness or apprehensiveness in her tone. Just that same, leering caution as she continues to try and piece together where she’s seen him before. Noting her cautious nature, his smile doesn’t leave even for a moment. He casually waves his left hand, a wedding band around the ring finger, and chuckles softly.
Early 40’s Gentleman: I’m sorry. Where are my manners? My name is Jack Williams, retired U.S. Army. Purple heart.
His left hand lightly pats his chest where his heart is. Morgan gives a small nod and a half salute with two fingers. A tiny gesture of respect to a veteran. He mirrors this with a nod and half salute of his own.
Jack Williams: Like t’ think I’m a good husband and father. Brother-in-law too. You ain’t too fond of him.
A mysterious attempt at humor? Jack smiles a little more.
Jack Williams: S’alright. Nate ain’t everybody’s favorite. Little Serena loves him, though. Sweet child o’ mine.
Sweet child o’mine. Morgan hears that and visibly tenses as she realizes the situation. Her hand presses its fingertips against the tabletop before relaxing. Her eyes close and she lets out a breath. She seemed to be in a decent mood a moment ago. Now, that somberness from last week has returned. Morgan looks at Jack with a hint of sorrow on her face.
Morgan Payne: I’m…nah. Some things sorry ain’t enough for. You here t’grill me, huh? Can’t blame ya. Any good dad would…
Somberness mixes with coolness between the two. From his side of the table, Jack’s eyes narrow while he gauges Morgan. Finally, his smile fades. His elbows and forearms rest on the table’s surface and his eyes seem to gaze deeply into her soul.
Jack Williams: . . .
His tough exterior is betrayed by the slightest smile on his face.
Jack Williams: Nah. Maybe a part of me should say somethin’ that’ll frighten ya, but I can tell ya didn’t really mean those threats… right?
His arms shift so his hands can lightly clasp together. The New Orleanian seems calm. Morgan’s mismatched eyes watch every movement Jack makes like a cornered animal; darting down to his hands as they shift, then back up to his eyes. She’s unsure as to how this man can even smile in the presence of someone who said the things she did, regardless of her apology. Without hesitating too long, Morgan shakes her head just enough for Jack to notice. Anyone else around them might even miss the gesture.
Morgan Payne: No… To Ami? No. To Ryleigh? No. To yer little girl? No. Far as her uncle goes?
Morgan clenches her jaw and swallows. Her eyes fall to her hand which she hasn’t even realized until now clenched into a shaking fist. It opens and she forces it flat on the table. Now’s not the time to show any semblance of anger, even if it’s justified in her own head.
Morgan Payne: I can’t forgive him for what he did. Any of it. It goes back before my wife. Ya can ask anyone who knows me: my trust don’t come easy. I don’t put my faith in a lotta people. I put it in him last year and he betrayed it. From there s’like it just snowballed. I ain’t got da coolest head arahnd ‘ere. I lose myself. S’it gonna cost me one day? Yeah, ahnno dat. But I meant every word last week. Your daughter an’ them didn’t deserve t’be targets.
He’s a good listener. A firm nod here, a slower nod there. He never breaks eye contact -- not even for a second. Those hazel grey eyes of his have seen many things. His sight and his hearing gift him with excellent observational skills. Not a single inch of his body tenses up in this conversation. Rather, he’s completely relaxed.
Jack Williams: Y’know, when I was still on active duty, I saw things I never thought I’d see. I heard things I never wanted t’hear. War is ugly. It ain’t just the men and women in service of their country who lose their lives. Innocent people die. Either they’re ‘collateral damage’ or they’re killed as prisoners of war.
At this moment, he finally breaks eye contact and turns his head away. From this angle, one can tell there’s a faraway look in his eyes. Then they close and he breathes deeply.
Jack Williams: We do everythin’ we can to protect those who cannot fight for themselves. Your anger towards my brother-in-law is justified. I ain’t gonna protest. But I think every wrestler who signs a contract to perform knows the risks. Even Stephanie must know the dangers are real. You put your bodies on the line every time you step into that ring. The person on the opposite side of you might be honorable. They might be stuck-up and haughty. Hell, they might be downright cruel. Injuries… are inevitable.
Once his eyes open, Jack shakes his head a little.
Jack Williams: Nathaniel’s soul is a haunted one. I ain’t gonna go into details because that’s personal to him, but he’s been through some fucked up shit.
There’s a slight glance to his right and a weak chuckle escapes him.
Jack Williams: Y’know there ain’t no sneakin’ up on me, little lady.
The camera pans back a way to reveal a teenage girl in a pretty dress, her hair lightened and her makeup natural. She moves a little closer to Jack and stands behind him.
Serenity Williams-Dixon: So… what do you think, Dad?
Jack Williams: I think the entire family ain’t got nothin’ t’worry about. The young lady’s apology is genuine. ‘Course your Uncle Nate’s gonna keep doin’ his thing. He’ll probably get busted up real good, but he’ll be alright. Y’know he’s been through Hell.
Morgan has sat silently this entire time while Jack has spoken. She’s just as good of a listener as he is. Her eyebrows shift here and there, furrowing and relaxing at certain points in Jack’s response. She clearly has something to offer in response before Jack’s daughter appears out of frame and subsequently brought in by the panning of the camera. At that point, Morgan’s eyes shift towards who’s actually been the main subject of their conversation up to now. Whatever she had to say, she sets it aside and just watches the teenage girl.
Morgan Payne: …Hi, Serena.
Serenity Williams-Dixon: That’s Serenity to you.
Sharp as a tack! Jack stifles a chuckle before he turns to his daughter.
Jack Williams: C’mon, sweetie. You asked me to talk to Ms. Morgan and study her behavior. See if she was serious about her public apology. I can tell she was. She ain’t gonna hurt you or anybody else in the family. Just your Uncle Nate, but that’s wrestlin’ for ya.
Taking a deep breath, Little Serena finally looks at Morgan and narrows her eyes. Even when she talks, she addresses her father.
Serenity Williams-Dixon: ...I trust your judgment, Dad.
Then, finally, she talks to Morgan.
Serenity Williams-Dixon: Your apology is accepted. But know this. If you and your family mess with mine outside of the ring? My Dad will right the wrongs. He always does.
Jack casually shrugs. It really is as the saying goes: ”When things go wrong? Jack will make them right.” From where the camera sits, it’s obvious that a proverbial weight has been lifted off of Morgan’s shoulders. She nods slowly.
Morgan Payne: Never gonna happen.
She looks at Jack, still addressing Serenity.
Morgan Payne: Ya got a great Dad ‘ere, Serenity. An’ I owe him an apology too. Didn’t have context at first.
Admittedly, when Serenity had mentioned her father over social media, Morgan hadn’t imagined she was speaking of a combat veteran. What did she expect? She didn’t know, but she had a newfound respect for another member of the Dixon family. Morgan’s eyes shift back to Serenity directly.
Morgan Payne: Thank you… And…Happy Birthday. Front row seats?
Serenity Williams-Dixon: T-thanks… and yeah, front row with backstage passes.
Jack Williams: Speakin’ of, we should probably get back to our seats. We’ve got the rest of the show to enjoy, includin’ Raion’s match.
The mention of Ryleigh’s boyfriend makes Little Serena smile and bounce a little. Slowly, Jack rises from his seat at the table and two-finger salutes Morgan.
Jack Williams: See ya ‘round, Ms. Payne.
Morgan Payne: Yinz take care.
Morgan says, returning the gesture.
Morgan Payne: And…thank you.
With that, the father-and-daughter duo makes their way back, a little more peaceful than before. Once they’re gone, Morgan’s left watching where they went with a more content look in her eyes. She looks down at her feet from her chair and lets out a breath before calmly collecting her things: water and book and stands up, heading down the hallway to the locker rooms. The camera transitions back to ringside as the next match is about to be announced.

Elijah and the Soz come out of the corner for a collar & elbow tie up. Elijah twists Soz’s arm around into an arm wringer. He wrenches on Soz’s arm a couple times before pulling him into a side headlock. Soz pushes Elijah off and into the ropes but Elijah comes right back and shoulder checks him off his feet and down to the mat. Elijah stops to taunt the crowd, getting a boo from the fans as Soz climbs back to his feet. Soz spins Elijah around and catches him with a hard palm strike across the face. The crowd reacts as Elijah just stops and brings his hand up to his mouth. Soz is looking fired up until he sees the look in Elijah’s eyes, just seconds before Elijah lunges forward and levels him with a clothesline! Elijah looks down, incredulously at Soz, admonishing him for the slap to the face and goes down to mount and start raining punches. The referee pulls him off for closed fists but Elijah just starts putting the boots to his opponent. When he finally goes to let Soz up, he starts slapping him across the head, mockingly.
Soz gets up to his feet and angrily shoves Elijah back. Elijah lunges back in with a series of forearms to the jaw, pushing Soz back into the corner. The ref calls for the break, making Elijah step back which he does but only to come running in for a Busaiku Knee Strike. Soz staggers out of the corner, but Elijah catches him and plants him with an Implant DDT. He gets to his feet, taunting Soz, asking him if he wants another one before pulling him up and drills him with the Philly Special (Brainbuster DDT) and stacks Soz up for the cover.

Jim Reynolds: Whoa whoa…what the hell is this, Nicky?
The titantron inside the Vlad Blackheart Memorial Coliseum suddenly flickers to life, as we’re presented with footage of Jessi Ozborne sitting on a couch, her face cupped in her hands. Anyone familiar with the area knows very well that this is the Queens’ Estate, the house in which the Queens of Chaos reside. With Jessi’s hair unchanged, it’s clear this footage was filmed the week previous, and given the placement of the camera, it’s clear it’s being captured without Ozborne’s knowledge. She looks up to someone out of frame, grabbing a cup of tea from them.
Jessi Ozborne: Thank you so much for coming to help me out. I mean, between the faction possibly disbanding next weekend, and all this stuff that’s been going on on Collision, I’ve honestly never felt lower.
The person she’s talking to is revealed, as Alexandra Calaway takes a seat next to her on the couch, entering the frame. She’s adorned in one of the various Queens of Chaos t-shirts, putting a hand out to rub Jessi’s back.
Alexandra Calaway: Jessi.. No matter what happens, we are going to get through this. No matter if it’s just us OG’s or if it’s all of us. Just remember who you are..
Jessi Ozborne: I just…I don’t know what to do…it’s been super hard to think about. I’m not showing up at the Coliseum next week, Alex. That much is settled…I just gotta figure out who the fuck is behind this…
Alexandra Calaway: Do you have any thoughts yet as to who it could be? There’s got to be something else I can do to help.
Alexandra looks at her, trying her best to be there for her friend. But not fully aware of everything that’s going on. Having had to step away, she feels bad about what happened to Jessi and blames herself for not being there.
Jessi Ozborne: I have not even the slightest clue. I never told a soul about what that name meant until what happened a couple weeks ago happened. I don’t know how anyone could’ve known about her. I think the best thing for me right now is to stay here. I mean…I’m home. I’m safe here. Nothing could go wrong as long as I just stay where I am.
Alexandra Calaway: It’s as safe as it can be. I’ve always learned to keep one eye open and to always look over my shoulder. You never know.
Jessi Ozborne: You never do…Thank you so much, Ally. I love you, so much.
With that Jessi pulls Alexandra into a hug. The two embrace for a few moments, all the while not noticing as the lights in the room begin to flicker around them. They pull apart from one another, with Jessi giving another glance to the shirt Alexandra is wearing. Suddenly Jessi starts to jump back!
Jessi Ozborne: AHHH!!
Alexandra Calaway: Jessi.. Jess.. what’s going on..
She looks around trying to figure out what’s causing her to freak out. She extends a hand out to a now hyperventilating Jessi.
Jessi Ozborne: NO! NO! Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!
Tears begin to pool in Jessi’s eyes as she begins to back away from Alexandra. She rushes away, leaving a confused Alexandra in her wake. The titantron then fizzles out into static, before shutting down altogether.
Nick Hanson: I…what the hell did we just see, Jim…?
Jim Reynolds: I don’t know, Nicky…but whoever, or even WHATever has got out for Jessi Ozborne? She isn’t getting away from it that easily.

We cut backstage to earlier in the day where we see Cass Baumer sitting in catering, enjoying her meal. Some of the other members of the Collision roster are walking around, sitting at the various tables in the room as we see Christina Olson walk in, limping and her clothes torn up a little bit as she staggers over towards Cass who looks at the woman with concern on her face.Cass Baumer: Chrissy, are you okay?
Christina Olson: Y…yeah, I think I lost them… I finally broke free…
Cass immediately stands up and she goes to extend a hand to Christina who takes it, but pulls Cass to the ground and gets up to her feet as three more members of the Harem come in and the four of them start to stomp and beat away at Cass. After a few moments, Christina breaks away, grabbing the briefcase Cass won a couple of weeks ago with a big smile on her face. She turns towards the doorway where we see Pet standing there with a leash in hand as she motions for Christina to come over to her. Christina immediately makes her way over and drops down to her knees, holding the briefcase up for Pet to take from her.
Christina Olson: The plan worked, Goddess… she’s such a fool to think I’d ever betray you.
Pet grins as she attaches the leash to Christina’s collar and reaches down, petting the top of her head which gets a smile to come across Christina’s face as she soaks it in.
Pet: That’s a good slave. This briefcase is mine now and whatever is inside of it. Come now, slaves, we have more important things to do.
With that order, the three members of the Harem give Cass one more stomp for good measure before turning and leaving as Pet gives a yank to Christina’s leash and she follows suit, leaving Cass laying on the floor, struggling to get back to her feet.

Damon Cross: Family is forever. Nothing will change that. I promise.
Dolores stares at the screen, Gabriel Ohio appearing in the entryway. The screen roars to life again showing Leina Rael and Dannie Anderson.
Leina Rael-Anderson: C'mon, Auntie Syl! Dolores is a bully! You know what the f*ck we do to bullies! CRUSH 'EM!
Danni Anderson: Language! Sylvia, please... You have the power over Dolores. Don't let Gabriel Ohio tell you otherwise!
Dolores steps back, Ohio making his way down to the ringside area. The screen comes to life again, showing Ronnie “Wicked” Lester.
Ronnie Lester: Never gave up on you before, Timber, ain’t gonna start now. Love you, Timber, your tree and all is still where you left it and waitin’ for you.
Gabriel Ohio moves closer while Dolores shakes in her place. The screen comes to life again, this time showing her brother, Samuel Lopez and his girlfriend, Marley Divata. Samuel signs a greeting to her and Marley nods.
Marley Divata: We love and miss you, Sylvia.
The screen changes from the images of Samuel and Marley to Sylvia’s wife, Dakota Winters.
Dakota Winters: Banshee, I miss you, please come home.
Dolores steps back all but hyperventilating. Gabriel Ohio continues to look on when suddenly a woman walks through the entryway, looking around in many different directions, her hands moving in seemingly strange ways too. Dolores stares at the woman and tears can be seen under the mask. The woman stops walking, locking eyes with Dolores, her hands finally showing sign language. Syvia screams and rips the mask off, jumping through the ropes and leaping at Ohio attacking him like a crazed, feral animal. Ohio backs up as Sylvia keeps up her onslaught. Finally, Ohio grabs her by the throat and chokeslams her through the announce table. As he steps back, Ohio admires his handiwork.
Gabriel Ohio: I love it when they resist…
He laughs creepily, turning and taking his leave walking right by the mystery woman without so much as looking at her. A second woman runs out to check on the first one before taking her down to check on Sylvia.

Mary quicksteps down the small stairs and walks towards the ring. She acknowledges the fans pointing at signs and giving the occasional high five. She makes a quick circuit around the ring before climbing the steps and stepping through the ropes.
I look around and
Sin City's cold and empty (Oh)
No one's around to judge me (Oh)
I can't see clearly when you're gone
Sin City's cold and empty (Oh)
No one's around to judge me (Oh)
I can't see clearly when you're gone
Mary points out at the crowd and circles the ring. She then rushes towards one of the far turnbuckles. She climbs up to the middle rope and throws her arms out in that signature ‘release the doves’ pose.
I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch
I said, ooh, I'm drowning in the night
Oh, when I'm like this, you're the one I trust
Hey, hey, hey
No, I can't sleep until I feel your touch
I said, ooh, I'm drowning in the night
Oh, when I'm like this, you're the one I trust
Hey, hey, hey
She holds the pose for a few moments before dropping down. She gets a mic from the ring crew and moves to the middle of the ring. She lets the fans continue their cheering for a few moments.
Marilyn Matthews: This is not quite the reaction I expected if I’m being honest.
Mary pauses as the crowd pops again.
Marilyn Matthews: But I guess after what I did last week I should have had an idea. Speaking of, I couldn’t sit back and watch what that big mother fucker was doing. So I decided to come on out and try and make the world's biggest hamburger.
She pauses as the crowd laughs.
Marilyn Matthews: I will give that big sum bitch that credit. He def a corn-fed bovine. But if he wants to keep fucking around, I’ll damn sure make sure he finds out. He wants to come at me sideways? ME?! Obviously big boy don’t know who he is fuckin with.
Mary pauses again.
Marilyn Matthews: That’s okay. Really it is. Not everyone is gonna have brains. Pretty sure he turned his in for more brawn. But I’ll cut his ass down like I have all the rest. Because as you all know, I don’t back down from anyone. He wants a piece of the single greatest champion NFW has ever had.
Another huge pop.
Marilyn Matthews: So now that I’m back you can all relax. I’m sorry I was gone for so long but that comes with parenthood. But I ain’t goin anywhere anytime soon. Y’all are stuck with me now. So, first order of business is makin some ground beef, then we’ll see where it goes. I’ll see y’all next week.
Mary drops the mic as her music kicks back up. She climbs one of the turnbuckles and looks out at the crowd. They shower her with cheers and she just smiles.
