The scene opens outside of a derelict run down looking building in New York City, New York as we see Stacy Jones looking at it from the outside. After a few moments, a man in a suit carrying some papers in one hand and a briefcase in the other approaches her.
Man: Well Ms. Jones… everything appears to be in order. I just need your signature and the building is yours.
She pauses at the mention of her name being said that way, she hasn’t been referred to as Ms. Jones for almost four years and it’s something she’s going to have to get used to now after her marriage to Jennifer Lawson ended. After a few moments, she snaps back into reality and takes the documents from the realtor and signs them before handing them back to him.
Realtor: Thank you, ma’am. By the way… I don’t mean to intrude but… why were you so adamant to buy this building? It’s been nothing but an eye sore for years.
Jones keeps her focus on the building.
Stacy Jones: It’s part of my family's legacy… and I plan on restoring it to what it once was.
The realtor looks at the building and nods before turning back to her.
Realtor: Well, I wish you all the best with that. Have a good day.
The realtor then takes his leave and Jones proceeds to make her way into the building. Once inside, it becomes abundantly clear that the place used to be a wrestling school as there are two wrestling rings along with mats, chairs and framed photos on the walls. The rings and mats are worn and tattered, stained with blood and thick with dust and cobwebs. The chairs are rusted while some of the framed photos are damaged. Graffiti covers the walls, most likely from troubled youths who used the abandoned building to partake in drug taking and possibly drug deals as used needles litter the floor.
Stacy Jones: This place has certainly seen better days…
She moves over to the wall with the framed photos on them and as she takes her final step, the sound of cracking glass is heard and she looks down to find one of the framed photos underneath her boot. Picking it up, it’s a photo of her and her father that had been taken after she had won her very first championship belt. A tear slowly falls down her cheek as she lightly brushes her fingertips over the image of her father as unbeknownst to her, Robbie Priest, Alexi Zdunich-Priest and Katra Zdunich have entered the building and are standing at the doorway watching her.
Stacy Jones: You were so proud of me that day… I hope you are still proud of me.
Priest’s voice suddenly rings out from behind her.
Robbie Priest: Too right he is! You’ve only gone and made yourself one of the top competitors in this sport. He’s bloody thrilled!
Jones spins around to face her three friends, almost jumping out of her skin in the process after hearing Priest’s voice.
Stacy Jones: What are you three doing here?
Katra smiles sweetly.
Katra Zdunich: You… need… help.
Alexi quickly nods her agreement.
Alexi Zdunich-Priest: Ja, Z sent us.
Jones looks back down at the photograph and shakes her head.
Stacy Jones: I appreciate it… but I’m fine. Once I’ve found somewhere to live… I can start focusing on getting this place up and running again like I said I always would.
Katra shakes her head.
Katra Zdunich: You…
She trails off, clearly agitated and now fumbling for the right English words. Finally, she switches to Swedish instead.
Katra Zdunich: Man gör höns av fjädrar men vi är här för att hjälpa till med det.
Alexi nods again.
Alexi Zdunich-Priest: Zenna said you would say that but she sent us because Nala has a key to Z’s penthouse. She says you should use that until you find a suitable home here. It is silly to spend money when you do not have to.
Jones sniffles a little before nodding slightly and then walks over to Katra and looks into her eyes as her bottom lip begins to quiver.
Stacy Jones: Nala…
The Unbreakable One then bursts into tears as she wraps her arms around her friend. Katra hugs her back.
Katra Zdunich: We… family… we… help.
Stacy breaks free of the hug and wipes away her tears before nodding.
Stacy Jones: Thank you…
Jones then glances at Robbie and then Alexi.
Stacy Jones: …all of you.
Priest looks around the building and nods.
Robbie Priest: I trained in a place that looks like this as well, though my own father was not nearly as proud of me as yours is of you. We’ll get it sorted properly before you know it.
Stacy looks around the building again herself and nods.
Stacy Jones: Yeah… we will.
And with that, the scene slowly fades on the four looking around at the building.
