Lucas Knox: And we’re gonna start this match right here and now!

Olivia Mayfaire: Hell yeah!

The match is officially underway and these two are still at each other’s throats! Devereaux sends Byrne slamming against a locker room door with an Irish Whip and doesn’t even let her react before rushing in and hitting a big boot to the chest. The impact sends Byrne into the locker room with the door being burst open. Devereaux steps in and grabs an open steel chair and just throws it down on Byrne, bouncing it off of her body. Byrne yells out in pain and Devereaux grabs her by the hair, picking her up and lays into her with a stiff right hand across the cheek. Byrne stumbles backwards and Devereaux nails her again, sending her stumbling back into one of the open wooden wall lockers. She comes in again and knees her in the midsection, knocking the wind out of her. Devereaux cocks back with another fist and swings but Byrne ducks and Devereaux ends up slamming her knuckles against the outer frame. Devereaux grabs her hand and curses as Byrne goes stumbling past her and out of the locker room. Devereaux shakes out her hand and follows in pursuit but as she reaches the door, Byrne - on the other side - SLAMS it back in her face.

Lucas Knox: OH MAN!!!

Olivia Mayfaire: KNOCK KNOCK!

Byrne steps back into the locker room and grabs a plastic Wet Floor sign up from the corner, using it like a bludgeon as she cocks back and WHACKS it across Devereaux’s back, loudly! Devereaux staggers forward, catching herself on a table with her hands and Byrne strikes her with it again. WHACK!!! Devereaux turns around and Byrne rams the sign into her ribs, keeling her forward and raises it up for an overhead strike but Devereaux staggers out of the way and the sign SLAPS the table. Byrne spins around where Devereaux’s gone and double handed frisbees the fucking thing right at the Bayou Witch. Devereaux gets her arms up to block it but as it falls, Byrne comes charging in, shrieking like a banshee and SPEARS Devereaux back through the loose door and out into the hallway again, taking them both down to the floor!

Olivia Mayfaire: These two ain’t playing games, Lucas!

Lucas Knox: An unsung heated rivalry between Tanja Devereaux and Rowena Byrne! They haven’t needed words to get their point across! They’re women of action!

Senior Official Heather Young hurries back out into the hallway behind them and urges everyone nearby to get back. It’s all she can really do in this case. Byrne mounts and straddles Devereaux on the floor as the UltraViolent Demigoddess starts slamming her head back against the concrete floor. Luckily, Devereaux gets her hands behind her head to cushion the blow but it leaves her face wide open and Byrne sinks her teeth into her nose. Devereaux SCREAMS as Byrne clenches her teeth down hard! Byrne doesn’t look to be willing to let go and keeps biting!

Lucas Knox: The bloodlust of the young Rowena Byrne is just stomach churning!

Olivia Mayfaire: She’s gonna bite her damn nose off!!

Fortunately for Devereaux, that’s not the case as she reaches up with her hands and finds Byrne’s face, digging a thumb into one of her eyes. Byrne screams and lets go, falling off of her. Devereaux sits up, grabbing her face but we can see blood oozing out between her fingers. When she lowers her hand, sneering at her opponent, we see the crimson life force gushing down her nose over her mouth and chin. Devereaux snarls and staggers up to her feet. Byrne looks up, grinning a bloody toothed grin despite Devereaux coming in and booting her in the head. Devereaux looks around, frantically for something. Anything. She finds a length of chain sitting on an equipment crate and grabs it, wrapping it around Byrne’s neck to use as a strangulation device, starting to choke her out in a Camel Clutch like position. Byrne claws at the chain, trying to keep it loose off of her throat. She starts to get her fingers under it so Devereaux strikes her in the back of the head with a forearm, dazing her. Devereaux wraps one end of the chain around her neck and secures it with a haphazard knot before standing up to her feet.

Tanja Devereaux: Let’s go for a walk, mon cheri!

Lucas Knox: What is she–oh my god!

Olivia Mayfaire: She’s gonna end up choking her out!

Devereaux starts walking down the hallway, dragging Byrne by the chain around her throat as the younger girl grasps at it, struggling for breath. She kicks her legs, trying to brace or grab at anything she can to stop herself from being pulled but it’s no use. Devereaux finally stops as they reach the NFW staff quarters of the building across from the locker rooms. She picks Byrne up to her feet and knees her in the stomach again to keep her subdued before looking to her left and grinning at a window beside a door that says “GENERAL MANAGER - WIDOW.” Devereaux pulls on the chain, substituting it for a limb as she more or less Irish Whips Byrne and sends her FLYING through the glass window!!

Widow: HEY!!! What the fuck?!

We don’t see the GM but we hear her from inside. Devereaux laughs as she wraps the chain around her hand, getting ready to pull when she’s suddenly yanked forward, into the wall and the broken glass on the edge. Devereaux grabs at a cut on her arm as the chain falls off of her hand. Blood runs down her arm and Byrne comes flying back out of the window, having kicked off a piece of furniture in the office and catches Devereaux around the head. Byrne takes Devereaux down with a Tornado DDT to the concrete floor! Devereaux lies limp on the floor and Byrne covers!


Devereaux kicks out! Byrne rises to her feet and wrestles the chain off from around her neck and folds it over into a flogger. Byrne starts beating Devereaux across the body with the chain over and over, shrieking with each strike as Devereaux yells out from the impact of each hit. When Byrne finally discards the chain, Devereaux makes it up onto her knees but Byrne lays into her with Total Insanity, hitting kick after kick after kick before taking her across the head with a crescent kick. Devereaux goes down again and Byrne follows up with Insanity Elbow (Frog Splash Elbow Drop) right from the ground! She hooks the leg again!


Byrne gets to her feet again and staggers off towards a wheeled cart with a bunch of crates on it. As Devereaux climbs back to her feet, Byrne waits for the opportune moment before pushing it, charging forward. Once she gets it going as fast as she can, she stands up on the back, taking a ride on the cart with a maniacal giggle before hopping off of it and the cart SLAMS into Devereaux, sending her staggering through a set of doors and into catering! Byrne follows in pursuit as roster members and staff alike clear the way of Devereaux getting to her feet. Byrne starts snarling like a wild animal and takes off running at her, hitting a Psychic Assault (Cannonball Senton) that sends Devereaux slamming through the other door that leads to outside!

Lucas Knox: Good god, Olivia!! I know this is a street fight but this is insane!

Olivia Mayfaire: Are they going outside?! It’s freezing out there!

Byrne stays on Devereaux’s heels and they are, indeed, outside now in the cold Chicago night, right out in the parking lot. As Byrne approaches, Devereaux grabs a handful of dirty and gravel off the ground and whips around on one knee, flinging it right into her eyes! Byrne grabs at her face, blinded, as Devereaux rushes in and hits a Backbreaker into a Reverse STO to the ground!

Lucas Knox: OH MAN!! ON THE GRAVEL!!!

Olivia Mayfaire: That’s gotta hurt!!

Both women are bleeding profusely now as Devereaux crawls over on top of Byrne and hooks the leg. Referee Heather Young drops and makes the count.


Devereaux picks Byrne up and sets up for a Butterfly Suplex but Byrne pushes forward, trying anything to avoid being thrown and Devereaux is sent staggering backwards until she slams into the side of a car. She pulls back and rams her shoulder into Devereaux’s ribs again before stepping back and hitting her with a knife edge chop to the chest. She does this a couple more times before wrapping her hands around the back of her head, getting her in a Muay Thai Clinch, shades of her father, and starts throwing knees up into Devereaux’s chest and face. Devereaux manages to get her arms up in the way to block the last couple of strikes and shove Byrne back but Byrne comes right back in with Striking Darkness (Kao Dode - Muay Thai Jumping Knee)!! Devereaux falls back over the hood of the car, shoulders down and Byrne climbs on top for the cover. Referee Heather Young slaps the side of the car for the count.


Byrne steps back and slaps the hood of the car in frustration. She climbs on top of the hood of the car and starts picking Devereaux up. To her credit, the referee tries convincing them to get down from the car and not do this here. Byrne doesn’t listen, however, and sets up for Visions of Insanity. She’s looking to put Devereaux right through the windshield! When she starts to go for the snap, however, Devereaux gets her foot out and braces it against the glass, able to slip free from her opponent’s grasp. Devereaux slips down onto her back across the glass and Byrne comes in with a big boot but Devereaux kicks her in the stomach, stalling her. The Bayou Witch pushes up, grabs the UltraViolent Demigoddess by the hair and just throws her down onto the glass, causing it to spiderweb in the center. Byrne’s up on all fours now with Devereaux behind her on one knee, catching a breath. She seizes an opportunity, however, as Byrne starts rising and lifts the girl up onto her shoulders in an Electric Chair carry. Senior Official Young starts waving her arms, almost begging Devereaux not to do what she’s clearly intent on doing but she slips one of Byrne’s legs back off of her shoulder and does it anyway. VOODOO (One Winged Angel) THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD!!!!!!!

Lucas Knox: OH MY GOD!!!!!

Olivia Mayfaire: I hope someone has insurance!!

The glass explodes inward with Byrne going completely limp and Devereaux falls backwards on top of the car, blood still running down her face and arm. She sits up and rolls off of the car, grabbing Rowena by the legs to pull her out of the new opening she’s made in the front of the vehicle. Byrne’s practically motionless as Devereaux rolls her off of the car, down into a heap on the ground, bleeding even more after that insane maneuver. Devereaux drops to her knees and not so much covers but just collapses on top of her for a viable pinfall.


Lucas Knox: Well, I wanna say what a match but…

Olivia Mayfaire: Nah, that was a fight, Lucas. That wasn’t a match. That was a damn FIGHT!

Lucas Knox: Either way, Tanja Devereaux has a win back from Rowena Byrne but I think both of these athletes were well within their element here!

Devereaux rolls off of Byrne and the two lay beside each other, absolutely spent and bloodied. Referee Young tries to help Devereaux to her feet but she shakes her off and staggers up herself, raising her fists high with a triumphant sneer on her face, glaring down at her opponent. She shakes her head and points at her as she steps backwards and turns to stagger towards the door to the inside again. The camera pans over and down to Byrne as she lies there on the ground…a demented smile on her bloody face.

Isabella Salvatore: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

Isabella Salvatore: And it is for the NFW Zodiac Championship!
Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain with a microphone in her hand. She sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.

Isabella Salvatore: Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 110lbs, fighting out of London, England! DIAMOND STEELE!
Strobe lights begin flickering all around the entrance as the opening chords of "Halloweenie IV: Innards" starts up. Through the flickering lights a petite form appears, bounding down the aisle to the ring. Trixie Decker waves to the fans cheering her and blows kisses to those who boo her. She pulls herself up onto the ring's skirt, hopping onto the top rope and facing the fans. She blows one more kiss before flipping backwards and landing on her feet. Giving a final wave to everyone, Trixie takes her place in her corner.

Isabella Salvatore: Introducing her opponent, weighing in at 115lbs, from Flint, Michigan! She is the NFW Zodiac Champion, TRIXIE DECKER!


Steele and Decker circle up in the center of the ring and step in with a collar and elbow tie up. Decker twists Steele’s arm into an arm wringer and transitions into a wristlock. Steele manages to rotate out of it and come in for a rear waistlock but Decker throws a back elbow into the side of Steele’s head, catches her around the head and hip tosses her to the mat into a grounded headlock. Steele manages to slip her head free and hop to her feet. She hits the ropes as Decker sits up and comes in for a sliding lariat but Decker lays back, letting Steele slide past her. Decker kips up to her feet and Steels comes rushing in, right into an arm drag. Steele pops up and Decker rushes in for a dropkick but Steele sidesteps and looks for a Senton as Decker goes down but the champion rolls out of the way. Decker pops up and looks for a Standing Moonsault but Steele rolls clear. Decker lands on her feet, however and rushes in for a running headscissors. Steele rolls through up to her feet and the two whip around to stare at each other as the Colosseum crowd breaks into applause.

Olivia Mayfaire: Listen to this crowd, Lucas! They’ll never get tired of these two!

Lucas Knox: Two of the best in the business, Liv!

Steele and Decker step in and lock up again. This time they jock for position in a power struggle but it comes to a stalemate and they break apart. They circle up again and Decker offers up her hand for another type of strength test. Steele laces her hand with hers and Decker offers up her other hand. Steele takes it and they start the power game. Decker starts pushing Steele back but the challenger answers with a kick to the midsection, knocking Decker back. Steels steps in for a forearm smash but Decker slips right behind her and rolls her up into a Schoolgirl.


Steels kicks out and Decker moves in to catch her in a Chickenwing. Decker throws herself back, locking the hold in, causing Steele to panic a bit as she looks for the ropes. She’s nowhere near them but she manages to pry Decker’s arms off and twist around to get out of it. She nails Decker in the midsection again and follows up with a forearm smash. Then another. Decker looks for an answer back with one of her own but it’s Steele who slips behind her this time and hits a German Suplex, bridging for a cover.


Decker gets a shoulder up but Steels kicks her legs up and transitions into an O’Connor Roll, cinching in another cover attempt, tiger this time!


Decker kicks out again! This time, Decker rolls out of the ring to get her bearings but Steele advances towards the ropes to go after her. Decker grabs her by the feet and yanks her down to the mat and to the outside. She blasts Steele with a chop to the chest, knocking her back against the apron. Steels grabs her chest in pain and Decker nails her with a forearm to the jaw, causing her to drop her hand then nails her with another chop to the chest. Then another forearm to the jaw. Decker repeats this process over and over, getting faster and faster until she’s striking furiously and getting the crowd riled up. She finally grabs Steele by the arm and Irish Whips her into the barricade. Decker comes charging in, looking for a clothesline but Steele moves out of the way and the champ almost goes over. When she turns around, Steele rushes in with a Yakuza Kick that sends Decker over the barricade and into the front row.

Lucas Knox: They’re in the crowd now! This is dangerous territory for everyone!

Olivia Mayfaire: Dangerous for them, mostly! They don’t wanna get counted out!

Referee Hiroki Tanaka starts ordering them back into the ring as Steele climbs over into the front row and picks Decker up. She waves a fan out of their seat and uses it to slam Decker’s face against the backrest. Steele grabs the chair and snaps it shut then, brandishing it as a weapon.

Lucas Knox: Forget getting counted out, Steele’s gonna get disqualified if she does this!

Steele rears the chair up but Decker catches her with a toe kick and the chair falls to the floor. Decker steps in and hits an Inverted Atomic Drop, sending Steele back against the barricade where she runs in and Cactus Clotheslines her over to ringside again, going right over with her. Decker picks Steele up and hits a Belly to Back Suplex right onto the padded floor, getting an emphatic groan from the crowd before crawling back inside the ring. Referee Tanaka starts the count out as Steele lays writhing on the floor.


Steele makes it to her feet and crawls back into the ring. Decker grabs her on the way up to her feet and delivers a Gutwrench Suplex, rolling through into a cover with a leg hook.


Steele gets the shoulder up and Decker sits back on her knees, shaking her head. She gets to her feet and motions for Steele, waiting for her to get up. Once she’s vertical again, Decker runs in, looking for a Double Knee Facebreaker but Steele catches her in the air and stops her momentum. She drops Decker back down and catches her with a Spinning Heel Kick. Decker spins around with her back to Steele and the challenger runs up to hit a Float Over DDT! Decker’s head is spiked against the mat and she falls limp beside Steele who makes the cover!


Decker gets the kick out and Steele sits up with frustration. She wastes no time, though, and gets to her feet, running and hitting a Springboard Legdrop down onto Decker. She goes for a cover again but Decker immediately fires the shoulder up, refusing to show leeway. Steele gets to her feet and gets ready, waiting for Decker to make it to her feet. When Decker rises, Steele steps in and grabs her by the head, looking for the Diamond Cutter but Trixie shoves her into the ropes. Steele bounces off, comes back and eats a Stunner from the champion! Steele rolls out onto the apron as Decker stops for a breather. She doesn’t waste too much time, though, and moves in to try and get Steele back into the ring. Once both women are up, they start trading forearm shots and eventually, Steele jumps up and catches Decker with a rope assisted enziguri. Decker stumbles back on step and Steele comes flying over the ropes but Decker takes her out of the air with a Dropkick!

Lucas Knox: Oh man!!! Desperation move from Trixie Decker but it might have worked! Diamond’s down!

Olivia Mayfaire: Champ can retain right here if she capitalizes!!

Lucas Knox: Wait, what’s she doing? Looks like she’s going up!

Olivia Mayfaire: Jinxie gonna fly?!

Decker steps out onto the apron and climbs slowly up to the top turnbuckle. She makes a cutthroat gesture and comes leaping off of the top for a Frog Splash but as she comes down, Steele pushes herself up off of the mat with her hands, just barely popping her body into the air! She catches Decker around the head as she comes down! DIAMOND CUTTER!

Lucas Knox: DIAMOND CUTTER!! DIAMOND CUTTER!! DIAMOND CUTTER!!

Olivia Mayfaire: IS THAT GONNA DO IT?!

Steele pushes Decker over onto her back and painfully drags herself over her for the cover.


Isabella Salvatore: Here is your winner and NEW NFW Zodiac Champion! DIAMOND STEELE!!

Steele’s music hits and she sits up as the referee hands her the Zodiac Championship. Steele looks at it, smiling through the pain and brings it to her chest, embracing it, before letting the referee help her to her feet.

Lucas Knox: A journey fought, long and hard but at the start of our year, Diamond Steele has captured the gold!

The referee raises Steele’s arm as she raises the title in her other hand. The crowd cheer for her as she looks to her rival over the past year. Trixie Decker sits back in the corner, holding her neck and looking distraught at the new champion. Steele looks to be starting to say something along the lines of showing respect to Decker as she starts slowly walking towards her. She starts offering out her hand when the crowd begins to stir as a figure comes sliding into the ring behind her.

Olivia Mayfaire: Hey, whoa, what?! Who the hell is…?!

Lucas Knox: Diamond, look out!

The figure, a young blonde woman in black denim and biker leather runs in and hits Diamond Steele with a double knee backstabber, snapping her against her knees and sending her to the mat. She stands up and flips her hair out of her face, grinning wickedly down at the fallen champion. The crowd responds in shock, recognizing a face long since unseen.

Lucas Knox: THAT’S LYRIC!!! FROM THE WOLVES OF ODINN!!

Olivia Mayfaire: What the hell is she doing here?!

The crowd reacts further as bodies begin to emerge from the tunnel, leisurely walking down the ramp to ringside. All Presidents of different Wolves of Odinn charters. Hela, Prophet, Rab, and Sonnie. Bringing up the rear but taking point once they reach ringside are two more, Valkyrie and her daughter, Oracle. Valkyrie’s got something in her hand as the six new arrivals all climb into the ring and come to stand with Lyric. In the corner, Trixie Decker pulls herself to her feet and stands ready to fight like a cornered animal. The charter presidents all grin, amused and nod amongst each other and it’s Lyric who takes a step forward and holds her hands up in a peace offering before motioning for Decker to come over. Decker limps over and stops in front of the Baton Rouge President. They starts to quietly talk amongst each other.

Lucas Knox: Liv, we’ve got Wolves of Odinn filling the ring. What the hell is going on?!

Olivia Mayfaire: Valkyrie and Prophet, even! This is huge, whatever it is!

When they finish talking, Lyric gives Decker a look and holds her arms out as if to say “what do you think?” Decker looks amongst the Wolves, then down at Diamond Steele. She looks back up at Lyric and smirks, nodding. Lyric laughs and gives Decker daps before turning to Valkyrie and extending her hand. Valkyrie hands the item in her hand to Lyric who unfolds it and shows it to Decker - a Wolves of Odinn MC kutte with “PROSPECT” along the back of the shoulders and “BATON ROUGE” along the bottom. The crowd is shocked as Lyric motions for Decker to turn around and she ceremoniously slides the kutte on for her. The other Presidents all cheer and applaud before Decker makes her rounds, hugging her new family.

Lucas Knox: Trixie Decker has joined the Wolves of Odinn!!! I can’t believe it!!

Once Decker makes the rounds and stands amongst the group, she turns and her smile fades as she sees Diamond Steele starting to slowly get up. The look on Decker’s face is one of venomous hatred as she runs in and gives a hard kick to Steele’s ribs, sending her out of the ring. She picks up the Zodiac title and looks at it with a hint of despair before dropping it over the top rope onto Steele and follows the Wolves out.

Olivia Mayfaire: Holy shit, what just happened Lucas?

Lucas Knox: I don’t know, but it’s one hell of a way to kick the year off!

Olivia Mayfaire: Not the way Diamond Steele wanted to celebrate her victory, I’m sure.

Lucas Knox: Absolutely not!
