The scene opens in dimly lit area, with trees sprawling as far as the eye can see. Amidst the foliage, stands Cherry Addams in a black night gown, she seems lost, as she looks about trying to make sense of her predicament.
Cherry: Yo, what the fuck is this?
Once her question escapes into the void, the trees become engulfed in flames. Cherry frantically looks for a way out, but a loud scream shakes her, causing her to gaze up, to see the fire forming a giant serpent in the sky.
?: You! Why do you betray me!?
Cherry: Bitch, I don't even know you!
The serpent's face contorted, and the face of Lucifer slowly begins to take shape instead. Cherry looks dumbfounded, for once. She isn't sure what to say, and can only stare in disbelief.
Lucifer: You claim to serve Satan, yet when presented with a chance to do just that, you join an alliance meant to vanquish me!
Cherry: You're a pretender to the throne, no fucking way Satan would choose that vessel! Such aβ¦
Before she could finish, though, a ball of flames rockets towards her, and explodes at her feet. Cherry jumps back, and lets out a yelp. The flames singing the hem of her gown slightly.
Lucifer: Who are you, to question MY choices, girl!? Join me, or forever burn in my domain!
Cherry: Join you? As in join, HIM!?
Cherry grits her teeth, as she yells into the night sky, the flames start to die, as they fall to the ground, and form a pile of ash. "Yeah, thought so." She mutters, and starts to walk away, not noticing the ashes taking the shape of a man, behind her. The ashen man, claps on to her shoulder, spinning her around to face him.
Lucifer: Yes, for he is I, and I am he. Or didn't you realize that?
Cherry: Yβ¦are you a fucking pile of ash right now?
Lucifer: Yes, quite impressive, no?
Cherry: Yeah, sure. One thing though, not very sturdy.
She shoves into him, scattering ash to the wind, with that she wakes up, sweating profusely. "What a weird fucking dream." she says softly, not wanting to wake Mai. She goes to rub her leg, noticing a burnt bit of garment along the way. "Th..that was a dream, right? Right?"
