Gimmick:
SEPÚLVEDA was a young, scrappy luchadora on the Mexican independent scene. She was known for undying, underdog charisma that made her a favorite among the fans. She was just chasing a dream and had to fight with all her heart and might to hopefully achieve the final dream she hoped for. She began doing hardcore matches as way to stand out from the other luchadoras and soon she was doing deathmatches to stand out even further. She gained new fans and gained a new attitude of doing whatever it takes to achieve her dream, including taking time off of her own time. It only took one, bad injury to make her become the luchadora she is now.
In a match SEPÚLVEDA went through several planes of glass set up among two tables, she took it wrong and caused several injuries including a broken jaw, broken orbital bone, and severe laceration that caused her to lose blood quickly. The match was called and she was rushed to the hospital. When she awoke, the doctors and nurses were surprised as she was pronounced dead for five minutes. One of the doctors asked how she could have come back, and she simply replied “I told Death. No.” The young woman that was before that was the scrappy go-getter and fan embodiment into the sport vanished from the public.
Later at a random show, a masked luchadora would appear and people seemed to know she looked or well wrestled like someone before. Donning a new mask, new attitude, and moveset the luchadora with a unknown name became SEPÚLVEDA, the luchadora who told death no and is filled with rage and vengeance.

Entrance Theme:
"Futuro" by Cafe Tacuba
Entrance Description:
The opening synth and drums to Café Tacvba’s “Futuro” is heard rising through the arena as the lights smoothly fade, leaving the arena in pitch black darkness. The tron comes to life with the scene of a desert sunset where a woman’s blood caked hand pushes up from a mound of sand, reaching for the sky. As the lyrics begin, the stage is faintly illuminated with a dim red light. Kerry “King” Romero comes walking out into a cloud of mist that reaches up to upper thigh level.
♫Yo dije que no♫
♫Ella dijo sí♫
♫Yo dije que sí♫
♫Ella dijo no♫
For this portion of the song, “King” stands in place just a little off center to the stage, watching the ring and the audience with a faint smile on her lips. She knows something others don’t as she slowly casts her gaze down to the cloud. There, suddenly, right where she’s looking, dead center of the stage, movement appears and Sepúlveda rises up from a previously squatted position. The crowd reacts as she rises to her full height, unbending one leg while sliding the other outstretched leg in beside it. Her empty, pale, almost death like gaze is locked right on the ring.
♫Es una cuestión de tiempo♫
♫Tan breve este momento♫
♫En que eres y en que soy♫
♫Tú mañana ya te fuiste♫
♫Y antes me dijiste♫
♫El futuro es hoy♫
Sepúlveda turns her attention briefly to her manager before her head SNAPS back to the ring and she makes her way down the ramp; King follows just a couple of steps behind the mysterious woman. Giving her space to move but not falling too far behind. Sepúlveda moves at a calm yet deliberate pace as she stalks her way towards the ring. As she reaches ringside, she climbs up onto the apron on her knees, hanging her forearms on the middle rope.

As she reaches ringside, she climbs up onto the apron on her knees, hanging her forearms on the middle rope.
(If she’s entering first)
From there, she turns, flattening her lower body out on the apron, using her knees and feet to push along as she crawls along the apron with her hands. The entire time, she watches the front row. As she reaches the ringpost, she lowers herself down to crawl under the lower turnbuckle and proceeds to crawl along the adjacent side of the apron. At ringside, King just calmly follows along. When Sepúlveda reaches the middle of that side of the apron, she lifts herself up with one foot planted flat and her other leg outstretched on the side. She leans back, stretching her arms along the middle rope, eerily rolling her neck before she pushes her bent leg back behind her, swings her outstretched one in beside he and slides backwards, using her hands, under the bottom rope.
♫Traigo este presente♫
♫Por las que has pasado♫
♫Ha sido pesado♫
♫Añorar a ausentes♫
♫Todo se soporta aunque esté nublado, sigamos de frente♫
♫A paso paulatino♫
♫Aún no me cansé♫
♫Unas voy a pie (Unas voy a pie)♫
♫Otras yo camino (Otras yo camino)♫
♫La verdad no importa porque no sé cuál es mi destino♫
From the center of the ring, she adjusts herself appropriately, facing away from her designated corner where King has come up onto the apron. Sepúlveda back crawls into her corner and reaches up to grab the top ropes, pulling herself to her feet. As soon as she’s standing erect, she hops up with her middle feet on the middle ropes and sits on the top turnbuckle, where she starts removing her entrance gear. Even as King takes it, Sepúlveda remains seated on the turnbuckle, just watching the stage.

She rocks her body slowly side to side with the music before pulling herself back in and snaps her attention right back to her opponent as she swings her upper body under the bottom rope and crawls on her hands along the mat, right towards them until stopping in the center of the ring. Her head slowly tilts as she watches them.

WRESTLING INFO
In-Ring Strengths:
+ Fast: As is common in lucha libre, Sepúlveda is quick on her feet with the reflexes of a cat.
+ Unstoppable: To a degree, that is. Sepúlveda entered the underground fight and hardcore indy wrestling scene in the bowels of Mexico’s underworld. She takes her licks and keeps coming for more.
+ Calculated: Sepúlveda never rushes blind into battle. She studies her opponent, and goes into the match ready to exploit their weaknesses.
In-Ring Flaws:
- Small Size: What she makes up for in her agility, she lacks in size. She’s not difficult to muscle around if you get your hands on her.
- Restricted Space: Sepúlveda thrives and excels when she has a lot of room to maneuver around. Cut off her mobility such as inside a cage or tethering her to something cuts out a lot of her bigger offensive maneuvers.
- Temper: Another strength of hers can be exploited through pushing her to the point of blind rage. Get her angry and seeing red, she’ll throw all strategy out the window and go high risk in an attempt to get the job done. This can leave her open.
Wrestling Style:
Lucha Libre style. She thrives off of chain wrestling, technical mat work and using the ropes to propel herself. She also relishes in prolongating the pain she causes so she'll add in small joint manipulation with her submission moves. Throw out the rule book, remove DQ from the match and she will take full advantage, spicing up her in-ring style with as much chaotic modifications as possible. Tables, chairs, barbwire, anything she can get her hands on. She's not afraid to ooze some blood if it means making her opponent gush their own.
Wrestling Attire:
As seen in her images. Will vary in color from shades of black and red, to even pure white at times.
Finishing Moves:
- "Death’s Blessing"

Tendency To Cheat
- Coming from the underground scene, she’s constantly going for throats and eyes, stomping feet, twisting fingers and pushing the referee’s rope break count. She doesn’t really go for weapons unless they’re part of the match or if she’s wrestling one away from her opponent or their manager.
