Marley gingerly stretched when she heard the birds singing and felt the sunlight on her face. She wasn’t sure what time it was nor did she really care…she was too content with being in bed, in his arms again. She snuggled into the blanket and, mostly, his embrace as much as she could, trying not to wake him up and not entirely wanting to wake up herself either. A small smile danced softly across her lips as she felt him tighten his embrace on her, but she could tell by the movements of his toned, chiseled chest that he hadn’t woken up. A gentle, quiet sigh of contentment escaped beyond her still slightly kiss swollen lips as she thought about the events after she had gotten to Samuel’s house the evening prior.
He had made sure she ate something, knowing that she would be hungry. Even though it was just a sandwich, the thought he put into it meant everything to her. The fact that she had somehow missed the little romantic table set-up he had done for her when she first got inside…driving for over 6 hours straight and needed to go would make a person miss something that sweet and romantic initially was all that she could assume. The green-haired woman knew that he was trying to be funny with it…a sandwich covered with a cloche, him having her sit down at the candlelit table before he revealed the PB&J sandwich, the giggle that escaped her lips before she gave him a thank you kiss. It may have just been a sandwich, but it was the thought that mattered to her and the effort that he went to for her with the table set-up; it was something no other man had cared enough to ever think about doing for her.
But when Samuel asked, well, signed the question of her moving in with him, Marley felt like her heart was going to burst from her chest. They had only started talking a few weeks ago…officially dating for less than that, but everything about being with him just felt right to her. They had spent so much time talking on Twitter that when they had visited each other, it felt like she had known him for so much longer…it felt natural to her. The pair had to communicate differently than normal couples, but learning sign language for him didn’t bother Marley for even the slightest moment; she was happy to do it to make communicating even easier for him. Being around him, with him…it felt as if they had been together for years, almost as if she hadn’t been the crazy younger woman that she had been only a few short years ago.
Of course, those thoughts flew through her head faster than it seemed, at least to her. Marley knew there was a wide smile on her face as she looked at Samuel, restraining herself from almost jumping across the table towards him. She got up from her chair and moved towards him, gently sitting on his lap before initiating a passionate kiss, those normally light hazel eyes fluttering closed. Her eyes remained closed as the kiss ended, but she muttered out a gentle “Yes”[/b] against his lips which she felt curl into the small smile that she loved seeing on his face before he moved to kiss her forehead. She didn’t care what anyone else would think when they found out. It wasn’t anyone else’s life, only theirs, and it felt beyond perfect…better than she could even try to explain. But she didn’t feel the need to explain anything to anyone; she didn’t feel the urge to defend anything about their relationship or the steps they were taking in it. None of it mattered to her as long as she had him in her life, by her side.
Marley remembered opening her eyes after another quick kiss, only to be met with the gaze of Samuel’s gorgeous blue eyes. He was holding her close to him and tightly but not in a way that would hurt her…never in a way that would cause her any unwanted/purposefully harmful pain. She rested her head on his toned shoulder, more than content to just stay like that, but she knew the dining room table chairs weren’t that comfortable. Plus she had worn the black bra/fishnet shirt combo and short skirt for a reason, and she wasn’t about to let that go to waste. The green-haired beauty, or rather his Goddess as he liked to call her, adjusted how she was sitting in his lap. In mere moments, she went from innocently sitting in his lap to straddling him, her light hazel eyes growing darker and darker by the moment until they had gone to a dark hazel color. The innocence of her initial arrival when she had taken her shoes off at the door, the quick hello kiss she had given him before dashing to the bathroom, the girlish giggle that had escaped her lips over how he had set up dinner, had simply vanished. Her heart still felt like it was going to burst from her chest but from the desire for her boyfriend that was now engulfing her.
Samuel’s hands moved from around her to rest on her hips, giving them a light squeeze that made her bite her bottom lip, and oddly enough, caused a blush to creep across her cheeks. He always seemed to know just how to make her blush…something that, in the past, annoyed her when others did it but didn’t with him. It made her feel warm and giddy but also exposed as if he knew what she was thinking without her having to tell him. Certain words, certain actions from him made her melt and feel like a high schooler with a crush on someone out of her league. Marley hadn’t realized that she had zoned out until she felt his fingertips traveling over her sides, unintentionally lightly tickling her, and she looked at his face. A face that seemed like it belonged to an angel, in her mind…her angel. She saw the question in his eyes…was she okay? She gave him a little nod and smile before she moved to kiss him again, pressing her body against his as his hands moved back to her hips.
Both were breathing heavier by the end of the kiss, something neither of them wanted to end, but the need to breathe ended up taking over. Both of their chests were moving quickly, and she was sure that he could feel the intense beating of her heart. She realized she still had her little sun hat on and immediately tore it off her head, tossing it to the table, careful to avoid the candles that were still burning. Her long nails raked through her messy hair but only for a moment before she felt one of Samuel’s hands leave her hip and move to her chin, gently turning her face back towards him before cupping her cheek only to kiss her again, the emotion behind it stronger than the previous kisses between them. It wasn’t long until the fire between them continued to build until Samuel suddenly stood up, grabbing the underside of her thighs so she didn’t fall off of him, getting a squeal of surprise to escape her lips in the process of it all. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, holding on tightly to him as he made his way down the hall of the house and to the bedroom.
The half-Filipino woman was brought out of her thoughts of the previous night when she felt her angel stirring next to her. She had partially been hoping to fall back to sleep for a little while longer, more than happy to stay wrapped up in his arms, but she finally conceded to slowly opening her eyes, blinking a few times at the bright sunlight. A quiet yawn forced its way beyond her lips, and she looked up at the man that she wondered how she had managed to be able to call hers and saw his eyes opening as well. She began lazily letting the tips of her fingers glide over the tattoos on his arm, moving up gently to place a light kiss on his shoulder. They looked at each other with sleepy smiles before sharing a light good morning peck. She rested her head against his chest to where she could listen to his heartbeat and her arm slid its way across his abs in a half hug. She was still in no hurry to get up, and as she thought more, a blush crept to her cheeks and a wide smile graced her face. She felt at ease…at home when she had felt off and like a stranger in the small house that she owned herself. Marley could feel Samuel’s eyes on her, a questioning look in them. With the smile still on her face, she simply said “I’m home.” The emphasis on the word home seemed to be all the pair needed, and their grips on each other tightened ever so slightly as they remained cuddled in the bed.
