Last minute preparations were nothing new to the Shieldamidens since getting into the wrestling business. Especially with a company like EWC that went all over the place
This is where Jackie “Bandit” Layton owning her own plane comes in handy.
On this day, Bandit sits in her office in the same building that houses both the Shieldmaidens New Orleans clubhouse and the Venom Ink tattoo and piercing studio making sure all the businesses are ready for a few of them to be away for the next few days when her fellow Shieldmaiden and ST tag team partner, “Psycho” Saoirse Maguire, walks in and takes a seat across from her.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: I bae naedin’ tae apologize tae ye, Jack…
Bandit tries to stop this right there.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Sorsh…
But Psycho will not be sidetracked.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: I bae naedin’ tae say this tae ye. I know tings havna baen goin’ good fer us as a taem. I know I baen distracted an’ let tha…
Bandit puts her hand up to stop Psycho right there.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Sorsh, stop. We just got beat, ok? It’s not your fault any more than it is mine. The Bastards went out and beat the Southern Express. Who else can say they did that with the gold on the line?
She shrugs, almost laughing in spite of herself.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Hell, who can say that regardless of the gold being on the line? The Southern Express had been riding high and the Bastards got them the same as they got us. Good for them, makes us losing to them look that much better. When you can say the team that got you went on, like five minutes later, to win it all?
Psycho starts to retort but Bandit just shakes her head.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: There’s no shame in that one, Sorsh, and even if there was, it’s not just on you. We’re a team. We win as a team, we lose as a team.
Psycho shrugs, still visibly apologizing even after being told not to anymore.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: I kinna bae helpin’ th’ faelin’ tha I baen lettin’ ye down since whot happened wit Bex an’ th’ Astro Craeps.
Bandit shakes her head, not having any of this from her friend.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Bex retiring was not your fault either. It was just time for her. You know her knees have always ached and you know that was likely to never get better because of those two big injuries she’s had. Wrestling full time was just gonna be too much for her going forward. As for the Astro Creeps…
The small blonde woman shrugs again.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: There’s no shame there either, Sorsh. What they did would have shaken anybody up. They found your button and pushed it like nobody else has, not Gabriel Ohio, not Solomon Cain, not Scorpio, not Damage Inc, not the Bastards, nobody.
Psycho nods ashamedly.

Bandit nods to her friend, looking her dead in the eyes.

Taking a deep breath, Psycho leans forward in her chair.

She starts to look away, her eyes slapping shut.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: It sounded so much like where th’ Children kept us… then tha light showed up on th’ Tron tha looked jess like when th’ door tae me room would open… an’ it bae my turn tae scraem…
Her right curls into a fist.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: I could sae them, Jack… I could sae th’ nameless, faceless masked ones in hoods an’ I swear… I thought I could haer Shonn…
Bandit stares at her friend and tag team partner as Psycho looks away in shame at the mention of her late brother.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: I could fael th’ chains again as well…
Rubbing her wrists, she reaches up and rubs her at her neck as well as if she’s starting to feel said chains all over again just recounting this incident.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: An’ then I started swingin’ at th’ ones in hoods baecause I wasnay goin’ tae bae put in tha room again! Then the lights came back on, somethin’ hit me an’ all I knew was Bex was there tellin’ me it was gonna bae alright…
Bandit nods.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: She was right, it’s gonna be alright. You’ve been fine as my partner against Mean Girlz and you were good against the Bastards. Now it’s time for the Eleos Affect. We’ll have to ready for this because it’s Athens and it’s two decently built guys against…
She smirks knowingly.
JBL Us… and we didn’t bring the other Killer Smurfs with us this time. [/font]
Looking up, Psycho can’t help but smile at the group name that just left Bandit’s lips.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, but I dinna tink Widow an’ Krigare enjoy tha name.
Bandit just smiles.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: No, but King does and I would bet Chi Chi would if we mentioned it to her out in Cali.
Psycho nods, almost laughing now herself.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, an Varghona as well up in Jersey.
Bandit nods again.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Fi might too.
Psycho nods in return.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, she jess might.
Bandit stands and exhales heavily.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Come on, Sorsh, let’s go find a couple of decent-sized Dragons and start our last couple of sessions to be ready for this match in Athens on Monday.
Psycho nods, standing up herself.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, let’s get goin’ then!
The two walk from the room, heading down to the gym in the building next door to continue preparations.

The camera opens on the members of ST, Jackie “Bandit” Layton and “Psycho” Saoirse Maguire standing next to each other under the now familiar and perhaps infamous black Shieldmaidens banner with the whte lettering hanging on the wall of their warehouse gym. Both women are decked out in matching ensembles, black boots, black jeans, black homemade ST t-shirts with the letters just smeared across the shirt in blue and white on Bandit’s shirt and green and orange on Psycho’s. Their Shieldmaidens’ kuttes complete the look, both nodding to the camera.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Do you think the name is supposed to be funny or ironic?
Psycho frowns in confusion.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: I’m nay certain I follow ye there, Jack…

Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Eleos Affect… you know what Eleos is, right?
Psycho nods.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, it bae th’ Graek word for mercy an’ compassion towards th’ afflicted.
Bandit nods.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Yeah, they got it from the Greek Goddess of that name who was supposed to be the personification of mercy, pity and compassion but that doesn’t really seem to fit these two, especially KU. Man doesn’t just want to beat people, he wants to punish them so they can’t answer the count.
Psycho nods her agreement.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, tha doesnay sound like mercy or pity at all…

Jackie "Bandit" Layton: I mean these two are built so to some that might be mercy because it means they’re not beating on you anymore. The Southern Express would definitely agree after losing their hair to them.

Jackie "Bandit" Layton: You would think that means even worse for us being that we’re two small women that you could probably fit in KU and would still need another thirty pounds from someone else to match Antoni.
Psycho shrugs.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, they bae big an’ bad an’ they baet th’ champs multiple times baefore tings went rael sout fer th’ Express.
Bandit smirks.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: I’d say they Affected them in quite a big way when you look at it.
She nods to herself knowing that sounded way funnier in her head.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: But I would still say their name is a misnomer because they had no mercy against the Express and they damn sure won’t have any against us either. They should be called something like Kein Mitleid.
Psycho frowns again.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: But tha bae German, yeah?
Bandit nods knowingly.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Yeah, but it’s way more fitting of what we’re about to be up against. They may look like they belong in the Greek Pantheon but there is no goddess coming to give us any quarter on this one.
Psycho shrugs.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: None asked, none given.
Bandit glares into the camera.
Jackie "Bandit" Layton: Gentlemen, we know what you can do and yea, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we shall fear no team no matter how much bigger and badder they are than us. So like I said… this is kein mitleid…
Psycho nods her agreement.
"Psycho" Saoirse Maguire: Aye, there isnay pity, there isnay mercy, there isnay compassion, there isnay sympathy…
