Gimmick: A cocky, stunningly handsome Italian-American who loves a good fight and tries to provoke others into one by talking trash with his sharp, silver tongue. He also tends to flirt with any good looking woman around and tries to see just how far he can get with her. However, he is fiercely loyal to his sister Adrianna, who has her share of mental health problems. This is where fans find a soft spot for him as he accidentally shows how protective he is of her.

Entrance Music: "Bow Down" by I Prevail -

Entrance Description: The lights dim as the notes to I Prevail’s “Bow Down” fills the arena. The titan tron comes to life with the familiar image of the gladiator helmet from the vignettes seen previously over the week.

As the song reaches the 0:11 second mark, the words 'GET ON YOUR KNEES AND BOW DOWN' appear in sync with the song before the words 'GOD OF WAR' appear, trembling in red on the tron wall. Through the curtain, walks Nico Salvatore, shaking out his fists beside him as he scowls down at the ring. Coming to the center of the stage, he hops on the balls of his feet before throwing a punch to the air and giving a yell, walking briskly down the ramp.

“The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first: from Brooklyn, New York. Weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds: he is the Urban Gladiator...NICO -- SALVA-TOREEEEEE!!”

As his name is announced, Nico Salvatore starts talking trash to the camera about his opponent in tonight's match. At the end of his rant, he can clearly be heard saying "--get ready to bow down, bitch!"

Nico reaches the ring, taking a knee at the steps like a gladiator praying to the gods before a fight in the coliseum. He then pounds his fist against his chest and raises it and his gaze to the air before running up the steps and jumping over the top rope. Immediately, he crosses the ring and hops up onto the middle turnbuckle to observe the audience again. He still doesn’t look too pleased with what he sees.

Stepping down to the mat, Nico pulls off his t-shirt and discards it to the outside floor as his music fades out and he turns towards the stage; the man awaiting his opponent as he hunches forward in a poised position, idly rocking side to side on his legs as he eyes the stage with hardened, focused intensity.

In-Ring Strengths: Determined to win. Killer instinct. Isn't afraid to really lay the hurt on his opponent.

In-Ring Flaws: Can get carried away with showboating and mocking his opponent. Sometimes he'll taunt too much instead of ending the match, allowing his opponent to mount a comeback.

Wrestling Style: Technical, Strong Style with some submission thrown in. While he learned most of his craft from his father, in addition to Big Daddy Payne and Vlad Blackheart, Nico also excelled in lessons when BDP's wife LeeAnn Viskan offered to teach him submission wrestling.

Wrestling Attire: Black trunks, boots, kneepads and a right elbow pad. Wrist tape on his left wrist and tape on his right hand. His boots have his last name SALVATORE in red and gold lettering going down. The front of his trunks have his initials NS in the same text. The back of his trunks say URBAN GLADIATOR with a gladiator helm and a pair of barbells in the shape of an X (stylized like a skull and crossbones)

Short Bio: Second generation wrestler, Nico Salvatore grew up with his twin sister, Adrianna, watching their father Matteo (better known as Doomsday) dominate the ring and wow fans of the once popular brutal hardcore style. Lovers of matches involving thumbtacks and barbed wire. While Nico dreamed of following in his father's footsteps as a superstar, he wanted something more. He wanted to build his own legacy and not be known just as a guy who could take insane bumps....

Together as teenagers, Nico and Adrianna began training in their hometown's local wrestling school. While they parted ways in terms of circuits, they debuted together and began making their mark with Nico's drive and love of his heritage earning him the moniker "The Urban Gladiator." Ready to make a name for himself on the major circuit, Nico comes steps into the New Frontier, ready to bring a war with himself as the one on top of the rubble with the spoils at his feet. Spoils, of course, being as many championships that he can get his hands on.

NOTE: When he and his sister were twelve, their mother passed away due to an accidental drug overdose after a relapse into her habit. A habit that their father worked tirelessly to break her out of. The relapse happened during an NFW road tour in which their father was heavily booked, due to being the Heavyweight Champion at the time. The loss of their mother at a young age had a traumatic effect on both of them. For Nico, he became easily angered and started lashing out more. The lack of a true mother figure, despite having women in his life that helped care for him and Adrianna after the passing of their mother, has resulted in mostly antisocial behavior from Nico. He doesn't get along well in large groups of people. He has a very small circle of friends and, despite not always seeing eye to eye on things, is extremely protective of his sister. This comes from a deep seeded fear of losing her, as well.
