(Takes place prior to Addams vs. Sathariel!)
Within one of the hallways, someone is whistling. The tune is creepy and unsettling. Naturally, the fans watching this on the NFW Tron are confused. The camera pans over… and reveals a man who doesn’t belong on Trauma at all.
Seth Ernst: Hold on a second. What is he doing here?
Miranda Augustino: Ewww, somebody get this creep out of here!
Miranda’s commentary is spot on. Daedalus, the Architect of the Astro Creeps, saunters along the hall in a purple pinstriped suit. He glances over the nameplates as he walks past the locker rooms. It’s as if he is searching for someone in particular. Just as he steps into the crossroads of halls, the ceiling lights suddenly go out!
Miranda Augustino: Uh oh! You know what’s coming up, Seth!
Seth Ernst: Yes I do, Miranda. I think Daedalus has a death wish!
Opposite the hallway he came from, candles illuminate the way. Daedalus’ face is barely visible in the softer lighting, but he’s wearing a cheeky little grin. A white-cloaked figure with the hood drawn up steps into the camera’s view, an angelic mask adorned over their face.
Daedalus: And here I thought you would not reveal yourself to me… Mrs. Matthews.
Even though she has been identified, Sathariel’s mask stays on. She stares coldly at the man standing at the crossroads and her hands clench into fists. However, she says nothing.
Sathariel: . . .
Slowly, the ceiling lights come back on and the candles go out. There’s a slight tremble in Sathariel’s body. Tilting his head, Daedalus feigns a concerned expression.
Daedalus: You seem unwell, Mrs. Matthews. Do you need me to escort you to Dr. Alma Vetinari?
Still, Sathariel says nothing. A giggle escapes Daedalus and he licks his lips in an eerily familiar manner. When he takes a step forward, that is when the Fallen Paladin finally speaks.
Sathariel: ...take one more step and I WILL deliver you to Hell myself.
While there’s a wave of deep-seated anger in her voice, there is also fear and anxiety. It is unlike all of the other times Sathariel has spoken. She sounds more like Jessica Matthews, the former Guardian. Daedalus stretches his arms out to his sides and smiles.
Daedalus: Come now, my dear little Paladin. Let bygones be bygones.
Sathariel: HOW DARE YOU?!
The scream is completely unexpected. It echoes from the crossroads, and once again, the lights go out. After several seconds, the lights come back on…
The Demons shadow behind the Mastermind.
The Astro Creeps lurk behind the Oathbreaker.
Seth Ernst: Oh, God. Here we go!
Miranda Augustino: They both came prepared for a fight!
The fans are high with anticipation. On Sathariel’s right arm is a new blacksmith-forged kite shield with the Children of Nephilim’s Baphomet-headed symbol emblazoned upon it. Daedalus’ hands are in his coat pockets. Who knows what he’s hiding within them? Kosner and Pisces stare down the Demons opposite of them. The Demons are unmoved…
But nothing happens. Instead, the lights go out, and when they turn back on, Sathariel and the Demons are gone. Kosnar growls, Pisces is silent, and Daedalus just smiles. . .
