Solomon Graham vs. Captain Cosmo

Captain Cosmo and Solomon Graham circle the ring around each other, with Graham sizing up the galactic traveller! Eventually, they meet in the center of the ring, getting into a Collar and Elbow Tie Up! Graham, the more well-versed grappler of the two, gets the upper hand immediately, getting Cosmo into a Side Headlock! Cosmo struggles, with the pressure of the hold shooting into his temples! He eventually gains some headway, tripping over backwards and incidentally backing himself and Graham into the ropes! The momentum causes Graham to bounce off, relieving his grip on Cosmo! He hits the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, returning to Cosmo just in time to be leveled by a Clothesline! Graham pops back up to his feet, not wanting to give away the upper hand so easily! Cosmo catches him however, taking him down with a second Clothesline! Graham starts to get some movement going again, this time reaching a seated position on the ground! Cosmo takes advantage of this, scampering over to Graham to catch him with a Penalty Kick! He goes for the pin!


Kick out by Graham! Cosmo pulls Graham up to his feet, but the Wired King quickly gets the upper hand, smacking Cosmo over the head with a Spinning Backfist! Cosmo is stunned and Graham takes advantage, running the ropes before taking him to the mat with a Lariat! He goes for the adjacent ropes, dropping right on top of the Captain’s head with a Leg Drop, before sliding over and getting Cosmo into Side Headlock on the mat! Cosmo is in trouble now, thrashing around and attempting to escape the hold! He eventually tires himself out, with both his shoulders falling to the mat as he ceases his efforts!


Shoulder up by Cosmo! Graham still has the hold on tight however, wrenching it in with a blatant gruesomeness! Cosmo, harkening back to the many times he’s seen other wrestlers in his position, attempts to swing his legs up to get Graham in a Headscissor! He throws his legs into the air repeatedly, not seeming to get anywhere with it! Eventually, Cosmo’s nonsensical flailing actually gets him somewhere, with the bottom of his boot accidentally cracking Graham on the back of the head! Graham relieves the hold, holding the back of his head in recoil as he starts to make it up to his feet! Cosmo gets up as well, stepping back before nailing Graham with a COSMO KICK!! He goes for the pin!!


Kick out by Graham! Cosmo is ready to finish this off however, getting Graham to his feet before kicking him in the gut in preparation for Don’t Trust Emus! But before he can drive him down into his shoulder, Graham pushes Cosmo away! Cosmo turns back around, looking to maintain his advantage! But Graham catches him with the kick to the gut, before driving him down with SHATTERED NECK BRILLIANCE!! PILEDRIVER CONNECTS!! Graham with the pin!

Seth Ernst: What a commanding win by Solomon Graham there!

Miranda Augustino: Yeah, but let’s not sell Captain Cosmo short tonight! He had an answer for almost every move that the veteran threw at him! He has nothing to be ashamed of!

Solomon Graham stands up, raising his hand in the air over Captain Cosmo as we move to our next scene!

We open up the show backstage where we see Dakota Winters standing in the interview area as she smiles.

Dakota Winters: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the General Manager of Trauma, Miss Isabella Santiago.

Isabella walks into the shot, dressed in a blue suit and her hair down as she smiles and gives Dakota a quick hug.

Isabella Santiago: Thank you, Dakota. I’m here to make two very important announcements. The first is the two teams facing off in the War Ensemble. We will see team Faye Brown that will consist of Captain Cosmo, Marco Valintine, Trixie Decker, Brea Lombardi, Solomon Graham, River Chance, the debuting Zara Ivory, and team captain Faye Brown. They will be taking on Team Viola Mancini that will consist of Camila Morricone, Isabella Terrano, Nova Juaquin, Vanita Thompson, Nathaniel Dixon, La Silencia, a returning Diamond Steele, and team captain Camila Morricone. The sole survivor of this match will receive a future United States Championship match.

Dakota Winters: Both of those teams sound very interesting, Miss Santiago. But I was told you had a second announcement as well.

Isabella smiles and nods her head.

Isabella Santiago: I do. And this is one that might just alter the main event for night two of WrestleWar. On night one, our Undisputed Champion, FM Young, will be putting her title on the line against a man who time and time again pushes himself to the very limit, someone who has proven he should have this opportunity. She will be defending her title against Kasey Kash! The winner of that match on night one will move on to night two and the main event of WrestleWar. Thank you, Miss Winters, but I think it’s time we get back to the action.
The cameras fade to the back, where we can see Lil Juicy walkin around backstage with his homeboy, The Vision, Juicy has, in his hands, some roses and a box of chocolates, that's when we can see Rodeezy running into frame.

Rodeezy: JUICY! Juice! How’s it goin, playa? How’s it feel to be back on Trauma?

Juicy stops and turns around to face Rodeezy, before smiling and dappin him up.

Lil Juicy: Ayyy what it do G. I’ll tell ya what, it feels like home, yo… and especially with my boo on the same roster as me, it feels good.

Rodeezy: That’s what we like to hear, homie. So, while I gotchu here, what’s your big plans for your grand return?

Lil Juicy: I can’t say much, but what I can tell you is this, Juicy and The Vision are lookin’ to just make ourselves a mainstay of this roster, man. We can’t have ourselves gettin accidentally fired like what happened last time.


The Vision: Well I told you that you needed to check your emails, dude. If you didn’t wait three months before you checked it we would’ve had this job longer.

Lil Juicy: It is what it is, man. We just vibin now, and, as a matter of fact, I got one last little stop before we can get ourselves properly acquainted once again.

Juicy would pat his boy Rodeezy on the shoulder before walking right up to Hayley’s locker room door, only to be stopped by Curtis Hughes.

Curtis Hughes: Where the hell do you think you’re goin’?

Juicy just looks up at Hughes and gives him the cheesy Lil Juicy smile we all know and love

Lil Juicy: I’m just tryna see my boo before the show, homie. You know how it is.


Curtis just looks down at Juicy, expression unchanged.

Curtis Hughes: Miss Halsey isn’t taking any visitors at this time.

Lil Juicy: Well… ya see, Big Hughesy, I ain’t just any ordinary visitor, just wanted to come through and see my girl, is all.

Curtis’s expression changes ever so slightly. Before telling Juicy straight to his face.

Curtis Hughes: Imma tell ya’ll now. If you don’t scram, I will snap you in half, twig boy.

Juicy laughs awkwardly, taking a step back with his hands in the air.

Lil Juicy: Aight Hughesy, we gucci, can you just give these to her from me then? Appreciate you.

Juicy then tries to hand Hughes the flowers and chocolates, before just placing them to his side because Hughes just refused to take them from him, before Juicy looks directly into the camera and shrugs, before walking off with The Vision

Jenn Drew vs. Daniel Corvin

Jenn Drew moves in for the lock-up and Daniel drills her in the back with a big forearm shot. Jenn goes down and Daniel drops an elbow to the small of her back. He rolls her over and hooks the leg for the cover.

Jenn kicks out.

Daniel drags her up and throws her bodily into the near corner. Jenn bounces off the turnbuckles and Daniel runs her over with a big lariat. Jenn goes down and Daniel drops a leg before covering.

Jenn kicks out.

As Daniel goes to drag her up again, Jenn hooks him for a flash inside cradle.

Daniel barely kicks out in time.

As Daniel goes to stand up, Jenn catches him with a backstabber. Daniel grimaces as he falls to the mat after impact. Jenn covers him.

Daniel gets a shoulder up.

The two get to their feet and Jenn goes at his eyes. Daniel goes to hers as well. The two start swinging wildly on each other, each one going for blood with every shot. As they go, Lana Corvin and Rowena Byrne walk down to the ring, stepping over to root Daniel on. Quickly, Isis and Masami Nishikiyama do the same and start rooting on Jenn the same way the other side rooting on Daniel. The referee turns to one side and then the other as Daniel goes to pick up Jenn for a scoop slam. Jenn cradles him out of this.

Daniel angrily kicks out.

Jenn tries for an O’Connor roll right in front of Lana and Rowena’s faces.

Daniel kicks out.

Jenn is propelled into the ropes where Lana and Rowena both try and swipe at her. Jenn steps back away from them and gets rolled up by Daniel from behind.

Jenn kicks out.

Lana and Rowens dive in as Jenn goes to stomp on Daniel’s balls. Isis and Masami dive in as well and the two groups crash into each other. The referee frantically calls for the bell as the ring becomes a cacophony of fists and feet crashing into flesh. Chaos reigns as the six brawl all around the ring and then spill out to the floor and start bouncing off barricades.


Seth Ernst: This match is getting thrown out! We need security to come break these six up!

Miranda Augustino: I doubt this is over, Seth! Santiago’s gonna have something to say about this!

Lassindra Halliday & Mayumi Tanahashi vs. Headshotz Clan

Mayumi is starting the match, but unlike last time she keeps focused on her opponent, starting against Blake Masters. They circle and move in for a lock-up, but Mayumi slips behind him, then to the side before she catches him with a surprising Russian leg sweep. Mayumi keeps control of Masters, sits up, and delivers a quick kick, as she rolls through into a pin for a 1 count. Masters is up quick, but Mayumi is a bit quicker and she catches him with a spinning heel kick. Masters stumbles up and Mayumi hits a series of kicks to the legs before she delivers a rolling sole butt and a step-up enziguri that rocks the martial arts master. Mayumi tags in Lass and they hit a quick dropkick German suplex combo for a 2 count. Lass pulls Masters up and then puts him right back down with a big exploder suplex towards their corner. Masters slowly gets up, eats a lariat, and gets hoisted up onto the shoulder of The Oncoming Storm. Lass gets set as Mayumi comes in and they connect with the magic powerslam. Mayumi into the cover


Duke Toobum in to save his friend and partner, and he also grabs his arm and pulls him towards the corner. Toobum tags in as Masters rolls to the floor, but Toobum soon joins him as Mayumi hits a running dropkick to send him over the top rope before Headshotz Clan is taken on an International Space Flight. The Sky Child wipes out both gamer bro’s, and the Osaka fans are cheering for the new team. Mayumi gets them going a bit before she pulls Toobum up and sends him back into the ring. Mayumi rolls in, gets up, and then her foot is grabbed by Masters. Toobum takes advantage and delivers a big running boot that almost takes Mayumi’s head off. Toobum pulls Mayumi up and delivers a vicious hangman’s neckbreaker. Cover and a 2 count. Toobum pulls Mayumi right back up and delivers a big butterfly backbreaker. Cover and a 2 count. Another pull up and this time it’s a vertical suplex followed by a beautiful blockbuster. A cover and another 2 count. Mayumi Tanahashi shows some great resilience in the match. Toobum pulls Mayumi up and slings her into the HeadshotzClan corner. Big corner clothesline, and a tag in to Masters for the Kill Confirmed, Masters makes the cover


Lassindra is in to break it up and save things for her team. Toobum is quickly in with a cheap forearm to Lass. Toobum backs up and looks for a jumping superkick, but Lass sidesteps him, catches him, and drivers him down with a spinning Saito suplex. Meanwhile, Blake Masters seems to want some revenge after Mayumi showed him up earlier and he’s set for a big kick, just waiting for the chance. Mayumi is in a daze as she gets up and Lassindra Haliday takes the roundhouse kick meant for her partner. When Mayumi sees Lass go down, her eyes go wide and suddenly she leaps at Masters with a jumping forearm before she starts blistering his chest with vicious chops, backing him into the corner where she lays in machine gun chops. Toobum hops up on the apron to help and he gets sent to the floor courtesy of a rope-assisted enziguri. Masters is then hit with a big tornado DDT before Mayumi goes to check on her tag team partner. Lass has rolled back towards their corner, and she’s standing, but she’s on the floor. She looks at Mayumi, then notices that Toobum is getting up to his feet. Lass tells Mayumi to finish Masters and she turns back to see Masters slowly getting up. Mayumi drops Masters with the Sukaihōkī as Lass levels Toobum on the floor with a running discus lariat. Mayumi calls Lass back, tags her in, and tells her to do it. They connect with the Kawaii Kutter/ wheelbarrow facebuster combination and Lassinddra rolls into the pin as Mayumi is ready to take out Toobum if he gets up




Umi Toriyama: Pinfōru no kekka to shite no anata no shōsha... LassindraHaliday to Tanahashi Mayumi!

Seth Ernst: Another win for this team and I think they may have turned a corner tonight.

Miranda Augustino: Lassindra sacrificed herself for Mayumi and then we saw a very aggressive side of the sky child.

Seth Ernst: As well as genuine concern for her partner. Maybe the missing ingredient was trust.

We cut backstage into a small conference room with a large Minoru For President banner along the back wall. There are charts and graphs, inspirational posters and a big easel with a large PLAN TO BECOME PRESIDENT! Card on the front with the steps presumably behind it. Minoru Tanahashi is the only one in the room, the lights are dimmed as he sits there with a half-empty bottle of Suntory and a full glass. He’s in a simple grey suit, white shirt, red vest, blue tie, though the tie is barely on, the vest is unbuttoned, as are the first few buttons on his shirt. He takes a breath, then a big gulp of whiskey.

Minoru Tanahashi: Well it’s come that time. I got myself into the United States title match, I talked a lot about why I wanted it, I talked a lot about the champion Stacy Jones, so now I have to talk about the other challenger… Risa Saito. My former tag team partner, my former friend. There was a time where I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she had my back and I had hers. Even when we had to face each other, I never wanted to hurt her. That’s why I didn’t hold back in the triple threat match. That’s why I suggested the United States Title to her. That’s why I was so hurt when she turned on me. It’s because I cared.

He takes another fairly large gulp, then sighs and shakes his head.

Minoru Tanahashi: And I don’t mean that I cared about the titles and the glory. Those were great, and obviously winning and holding a title is a huge accomplishment, but I cared about our team, I cared about my friend. Not Super Tiger, my friend. The first day we met, she could have asked me to call her Risa, Tiggy, Super T, hell she could have asked me to call her Schlerg and I would have. The name, the mask, that wasn’t the important stuff. It was always about her, it was always about my friend.

Another sip of whiskey, another sigh, and another head shake.

Minoru Tanahashi: I looked at her like family. Not only did she remind me of my sister, but she was also my sister’s favorite wrestler, both of us were from wrestling families, both of us knew how difficult it could get being away from home. It broke my heart when I saw her running towards me with that title in her hands. I knew she wasn’t out there trying to help me. I knew she had abandoned me, her fans, her damn self. I say I want to cause her the same pain she caused me, but I can’t. Yes, I can win this match, I can try and make sure I pin her. I can hold that title high and gloat, but I can’t hurt her the way she hurt me. Because it wasn’t the lost title that hurt the most that night. It was the lost friend. That’s why I haven’t been able to accept her apology. Words will never be enough, but maybe after WrestleWar, after I can finally make her at least physically hurt, this can all be done and over with. I just hope that I see my friend inside the Tokyo dome and not the twisted creature that she has been.

Minoru finishes his whiskey, stands up, puts the bottle away, and heads out of the conference room, shutting off the light as he goes.

Diamond Steele vs. Cali-Kate

Diamond and Kate lock-up in a traditional collar and elbow tie-up. Kate takes the advantage and starts to take an arm. Diamond flips through and looks to flip Kate off of her but Kate goes with it and reverses the maneuver. Diamond does the same back and the two end up both flipping around and landing on their feet in matching superhero poses.

The crowd claps for the technical display.

Diamond and Kate look to lock-up again and then time Diamond takes a side headlock. Kate shoots her off to the ropes and Diamond rebounds off the far side, coming back to a leap frog by Kate. Diamond keeps running and rebound a second time. Kate pops up and hits the Geek Chic Kick. Diamond goes down hard and Kate covers.

Diamond kicks out.

Diamond hooks Kate for a cradle.

Kate kicks out.

Kate reverses into another cradle.

Diamond kicks out.

Diamond gets a backslide.

Kate kicks out.

Diamond goes for a crucifix but Kate turns it into a Samoan drop. Diamond hits hard and Kate covers.

Diamond gets a shoulder up.

The two get up and Kate looks for a clothesline. Diamond swings over and hits a float over ddt. Diamond covers.

Kate gets a shoulder up at the last second.

Diamond gets a kick to the gut and then tries for the Diamond Cutter. Kate reverses into the Starstruck. Kate covers.


Miranda Augustino: Yay mami!!!! Love seeing her come back with a win!

Seth Ernst: I hope people were watching! The Geekette Extraordinaire is back!

We cut backstage as we see Captain Cosmo wandering around the area clutching some papers in his hand.

Captain Cosmo: Ah yes! Hello Cosmonauts! Captain Cosmo here!

He looks around the area he’s in, as though he’s looking for someone in particular.

Captain Cosmo: Captain Cosmo is currently looking for either friend Isabella or friend Steven as he has some documents of importance to deliver to them pertaining to his huge match at WrestleWar!

Just then we see NFW Owner, Steven Brody, exit his office and the Captain notices this.

Captain Cosmo: Friend Steven!

Steven Brody: Hello, Captain Cosmo. What can I do for you?

Brody stops and looks over to Cosmo as the intergalactic warrior makes his way over to him.

Captain Cosmo: Captain Cosmo understands you are very busy, however he has some documents of importance to give to you ahead of WrestleWar!

Steven Brody: Documents?

Steven takes a moment to close his office door and secure it before giving Cosmo his full attention; a curious look on his face.

Steven Brody: What sort?

Captain Cosmo: Why yes! For Captain Cosmo’s Loser Leaves Earth match against the Leader of the Emu Federation of course!

Cosmo hands over the documents to Brody. The CEO says nothing yet; he just stares blankly at the Captain.

Captain Cosmo: Captain Cosmo believes you will find everything in order! He even added a ruling that if there is any kind of cheating during the match that the perpetrator be placed into a rocket and blasted into the Sun!

Cosmo points to the camera.

Captain Cosmo: You can thank Kasey Monetary Value with a K for giving Captain Cosmo that idea! But yes, anyway! Captain Cosmo is aware that the Leader of the Emu Federation is yet to accept his challenge to this match! However he expects the challenge to be accepted before tonight’s show goes off the air!

The Captain shrugs before then giving Brody an awkward and cheesy looking grin. Steven calmly takes the documents and gives them a careful look over. Osaka-jo Hall’s audience can be heard laughing a little as he makes an astonished face and raises an eyebrow. He flips the contract over to see if there’s anything else, then flips back to the writing on the paper. Finally, he looks up again at Cosmo with a sympathetic look on his face.

Steven Brody: Listen...Cosmo? I understand what his match means to you. I do. Unfortunately, given the details of this contract and the stipulation, it’s just….it’s not something that I can sign off on. Launched into the Sun? I’m not entirely sure even I have the resources to make that happen. Even if I did, think about that for a moment. The company can’t be responsible for any serious detriment to the well being of its competitors. Therefore, it is with my deepest regrets to inform you that the….Leader of the Emu Federation cannot answer your challenge.

He pauses in his words to hand the documents back to Cosmo.

Steven Brody: I’m sorry. But, if it makes you feel any better, you do have a booking for Wrestle War. After your performance inside the ring, earlier tonight, both you and Solomon Graham have been selected as members of Faye Brown’s team in the War Ensemble.

The Captain throws his arms up in frustration at first.

Captain Cosmo: That coward! Captain Cosmo should have known he would not accept such a challenge!

He pats Brody on the shoulder.

Captain Cosmo: Do not be sad, friend Steven! Captain Cosmo does not blame you for this unfortunate transgression! However with that said, Captain Cosmo is honored to have been selected to be a part of friend Faye’s Ensemble of War match! It may not be the match Captain Cosmo was expecting, but he shall do his best for his team and to make you proud!

Cosmo looks down at the documents in his hand and shrugs.

Captain Cosmo: What should Captain Cosmo do with these documents?!

Brody smiles and nods, then looks at the documents for a moment before offering his hand out for them.

Steven Brody: Would you...like me to dispose of them for you?

Captain Cosmo: Captain Cosmo would appreciate it, friend Steven!

The Captain hands the documents back to Brody.

Captain Cosmo: Well… Captain Cosmo must go and get himself prepared for the Ensemble of War! Until next time, friend Steven… what is the most important rule you must remember?!

Brody takes the documents back from Cosmo and gives them a final glance over before another smile plays across his face. He looks at Cosmo once more.

Steven Brody: Don’t trust Emus.

Captain Cosmo: DON’T TRUST EMUS! Exactly!

Cosmo then turns his attention to the camera.

Captain Cosmo: Okay, that is all! Goodbye!

And with that said, we cut elsewhere.
We cut backstage to find Dakota Winters standing by with a microphone in hand and a smile on her face.

Dakota Winters: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, she is the NFW United States Champion, “Unbreakable” Stacy Jones.

The camera pans out a little to reveal Stacy Jones standing there beside the interviewer with a smile on her face with her US Championship proudly resting over her shoulder.

Dakota Winters: Stacy, we are moments away from tonight’s Main Event that sees you in a very special one off match against Emi Yamamoto in a non-title match. How are you feeling ahead of this huge match?

Stacy Jones: Oh man, I am so freakin’ pumped for this, Dakota! I have been friends with Emi for a long time now and I have always had a lot of admiration and respect for her. I’ve always wanted to step into the ring with her, but we were never in the same company, so as soon as I saw her tweet that she was retiring soon and was giving people who had never faced her before the chance to do so? I jumped at the chance and thankfully, Mr. Brody was happy to accommodate her.

Dakota Winters: How do you feel about it being here in Osaka? In front of Emi’s hometown?

Stacy Jones: How do I feel?! I asked for this match to take place on this show specifically for that reason! Listen… at WrestleWar? I’ll be defending my US Championship against two of the best Japanese wrestlers on the planet in Minoru Tanahashi and Risa Jackson… and I’ll be doing so in the biggest venue in Japan!

She slaps her championship a couple of times.

Stacy Jones: What better way to get myself prepared and ready to defend this title in a place where my opponents have the home country advantage then by facing another Japanese legend in her hometown?

Winters nods.

Dakota Winters: I understand that. Well Stacy, good luck tonight and if I don’t see you before your match at WrestleWar, good luck in that too.

The Unbreakable One smiles and nods, patting the interviewer on the arm a couple of times before she disappears off camera as we cut elsewhere.

Emi Yamamoto vs. Stacy Jones

With the crowd ectatic to see this match, both Emi and Stacy walk out to meet each other respectfully. The two bow and then lock-up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Emi quickly overpowers Stacy and tosses her like a ragdoll into the corner. Emi quickly runs like a wrecking ball into the corner and looks for a big body splash. Stacy drops out of the way and Emi hits the turnbuckles hard with all of her momentum. Stacy rolls her up as she bounces back from the corner.

Emi kicks out.

Stacy goes to mount Emi and gets cradled.

Stacy kicks out.

Stacy rolls away and looks to get back to her feet. Emi does the same and Stacy comes running over for a big clothesline that goes right over Emi’s head. Having hit nothing, Stacy stops in her tracks and looks back at Emi, who is chuckling. Stacy starts to laugh and nods to her. They lock-up again and Emi quickly starts a striking flurry that sends Stacy back to the ropes. Emi grabs her by the wrist and sends her into an Irish whip. Stacy runs across the ring and rebounds back. Emi throws herself into a big shoulder tackle that drills Stacy like a guided missile. Stacy goes down and Emi splashes her for a cover.

Stacy gets a shoulder up.

Emi goes to pull Stacy up and Stacy sweeps her legs to take the larger woman down. Emi lands on her face and Stacy rolls her into a modified crucifix pin.

Emi kicks out.

Both get to their feet and Stacy goes for a rising clothesline that actually hits Emi across the chest this time. Emi barely moves. Stacy runs back to the ropes, rebounds off and comes back for a shoulder tackle the way Emi did earlier. Emi barely budges, her left foot stepping back a bare half step from the impact. Stacy hits a dropkick and then hits the Bat-Hammer. Emi finally goes down and Stacy covers.

Emi gets a shoulder up.

As the two get up, Stacy goes for the Unbreakable Cutter. Emi catches her in midair and spins into EMI-POWER. Emi covers.

Stacy gets a shoulder up at the last second.

Emi pulls Stacy up and Stacy gives her a striking flurry that ends with another Bat-Hammer. Emi goes down like a tree struck by lightning. Stacy covers.

Emi barely gets a shoulder up.

Stacy goes to the corner, climbs up and goes for RWYA. Emi blocks it at the last second and sends Stacy into the ropes. Stacy bounces back and Emi hits a pop-up Emi Bomb.

Miranda Augustino: Wow! Now that’s what I call textbook wrestling, carnal!
