Hey what's going on everybody from First We Feast, I'm Sean Evans and you're watching Hot Ones. It's the show with hot questions and even hotter wings. And today I'm being joined by Stacy Jones. She's a professional wrestler, a multi-time champion, an advocate for many charities as well as being a mother of two. Stacy, welcome to the show.
The camera shifts to Stacy Jones who is dressed in a pair of black leather high heeled boots, a pair of skin tight black leather trousers, her black Rock Hearts T-shirt and her Rock Hearts leather jacket.

Thanks, Sean. I’m happy to be here, I’m a huge fan of the show.
Sean Evans
Wow, that’s so great to hear, Stacy, I’m honored. So then… it’s clear you’re tough enough to battle the men and women you’ve faced over your over decade long career, but how do you fair against spicy food?
Stacy chuckles a little as she glances down at the ten hot wings resting on the table in front of her.
Stacy Jones
I’m a big fan of spicy food, it’s one of my favorite kinds of food and I know a lot of friends who are amazing cooks who have made some spicy dishes for me in the past, so I’m confident in my ability to take these on.
Sean Evans
Alright, well let’s get started, shall we? The first one is just child’s play with the Classic Hot Sauce.
Stacy nods as she picks up the first hot wing and takes a large bite from it before wiping her mouth and fingers clean with the red napkin available as she nods, enjoying the wing.
Sean Evans
Alright, well, before we delve into your wrestling career… anyone who knows you, whether it be personally or just because they’re a big fan of you will know how big of a gamer you are. So tell me, what was it like working for various different game stores to help pay for your wrestling training while you were growing up?
Stacy chuckles, shaking her head.
Stacy Jones
Not many people know about that, man, you are really good at your research, Sean. But yeah, it was crazy because I’d always be so busy, ya know? I’d go to school Monday to Friday just like every other kid, then I’d go home, do my homework, have dinner and then my Dad would take me to his school to train and then I’d work on the weekends at whatever gaming store would hire me to allow me to pay for my wrestling training. And it was really cool as not only would I learn about all these different gaming systems and the games, but a lot of our customers would recognise me or were fellow wrestling trainees.
Sean Evans
Did you ever question your Dad about you having to pay your own way? Especially with it being his own school?
She shakes her head.
Stacy Jones
Never. See, my Dad could have easily just given me free wrestling training with it being his own school and given me all this special treatment and stuff, but he didn’t and I didn’t want him to. The wrestling business is hard, and it’s a business that demands respect and if you don’t give it that respect, if you don’t work hard and put time and dedication into it? You’re going to get nowhere, and you’re never going to be taken seriously. My Dad making me pay for my training, it was one of the many ways he taught me how to respect this business, just like how I would always help the others set up and take down the ring along with everything else before and after any shows we did.
Sean Evans
Right well, let’s get onto wing number two, shall we? This one is the Chicago Red Hot Jalapeno Hot Sauce.
Stacy Jones
Nice. I love jalapenos.
She picks up the second hot wing and takes a large bite from it and nods, enjoying the piece of food.
Stacy Jones
Nice little kick to it, but nothing too crazy, I like that one.
Sean Evans
It’s no secret that you’re a huge advocate for charity and have donated a lot of your hard earned money to various different charities. You even have the #NoFearNoNegativity charity that you started in honor of one of the many people you’ve met with life threatening illnesses. What is the biggest moment that sticks out to you the most in regards to someone you have met with one of those illnesses?
Resting her elbows on the table, she lets out an elongated sigh.
Stacy Jones
Man, there’s been so many, ya know? It’s honestly probably the young girl I met, Jenny, the one I started the charity you just mentioned after. I was using that hashtag every now and then on social media, but had never thought about getting any merchandise done with it on. Then I met Jenny and I remember she had made me a bandanna with that hashtag on, I still have it now and I always make sure I keep it in the breast pocket of my jacket.
Sean Evans
Do you have it with you now? Can we see it?
Stacy nods as she removes the bandanna from her breast pocket and shows it to Sean and then the camera before putting it back.
Stacy Jones
Everyone I have met, no matter their age, no matter their illness, they’re always so positive and… they are the ones who want to meet us. To them, we are their heroes and we put a smile on their faces, but to us? At least to me anyway, they are my heroes. They have no idea how much strength they give me because despite what they go through on a daily basis, they’re always so positive and they don’t fear what is likely going to happen to them, so that’s where the whole #NoFearNoNegativity thing came from.
Sean Evans
Alright well, moving onto wing three, and this one is the Heartbeat Hotsauce.
Stacy nods as she picks up the third wing and takes a bite and nods before taking a little sip of her water.
Stacy Jones
Getting stronger but we’re still in the early wings so not bad.
Sean Evans
As well as being a big fan of wrestling and gaming, you’re also a huge fan of music and you have cited Nightwish as being your favorite band of all time. You’ve seen them from their Tarja years all the way up to the now with Floor. In your opinion, what makes Nightwish such a great band?
Stacy Jones
They always stick to their roots, no matter what. A lot of bands in the metal genre, they sometimes start off with this uniqueness about them and then they tend to become more mainstream. Now, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that, if that’s what they want to do then fair enough. But I like how Nightwish has always remained the same and their style is so cool and unique… and Toumas is such a phenomenal writer… just everything that man writes, from the music to the lyrics is just… it’s gold.
Sean Evans
Out of Tarja, Anette and Floor, which one is the nicest and which one was the worst from your experiences meeting them?
Stacy chuckles again.
Stacy Jones
A lot of people who know Nightwish are probably expecting me to say that due to how things went down with Tarja and the band that resulted in her quitting, that she would be the worst. But in all honesty, all three of them when I met them were really nice. I met Tarja when I was fifteen during their Once Upon A Tour tour, which was actually their first US tour. I met Anette when I was nineteen during their Dark Passion Play World Tour which was Anette’s first tour with the band after Tarja’s dismissal. And I met Floor when I was twenty six during their Endless Forms Most Beautiful World Tour and yeah, all of them were very kind and nice to me and I’m really fortunate that I got the chance to meet them.

Ready to move onto wing number four? This one is Los Calientes.
Nodding, Stacy picks up the wing and takes a bite out of it. She coughs a little bit and takes a large drink of water.
Stacy Jones
That one caught the back of my throat there a bit, still nice though.
Sean Evans
Alright, Stacy… we know how much your adopted father, Albert, was a huge influence on you, not just with your wrestling career but with your outlook on life in general. What’s the strongest memory you have of him?
Stacy leans back in her chair now.
Stacy Jones
Wow, you really aren’t pulling any punches with these questions, are you?
Taking a deep breath in, she slowly exhales.
Stacy Jones
Honestly, it has to be the time when he pretty much stopped me from doing what my adopted brother, Paul, had done. He’d just been arrested and he was my rock, he was the one I would always confide in if I had been bullied at school or anything like that. One night I went out to score… but my Dad found out about it and ended up stopping me. The day after, he took me to my first wrestling show and since then, the only drug I’ve been addicted to is wrestling.
Sean Evans
Well Stacy, up next we have a little segment we like to call explain that gram where we do a deep dive and bring up certain photos from our guests Instagram that need a bit more explanation… but first… wing number five which is Headless Horseradish Sauce.
She nods and takes a bite from the fifth wing and fans herself down a little.

Climbing up, slowly but surely… but yeah… I’m ready… hit me.

Alright, the first picture is you hanging out with former UFC star and actress, Ronda Rousey.
Stacy Jones
Okay so, I’m a big fan of movies and I love a good action movie, right? So I first met Ronda back in 2014 at the premiere of Expendables 3, and she was super nice and awesome to me. So we exchanged numbers and we’ve kept in touch ever since, and this picture was taken at her place when I went to visit her and we just went out for a walk, took some beers with us and just chatted about our lives and stuff. She’s super cool and awesome.
Sean Evans
Second picture, you with actor Vince Vaughn.
Stacy Jones
Yeah, this was just when my wife and I were out and about with a friend, who is also in the pic, in LA, and I’m a big fan of the Anchorman movies so when I noticed Vince, I asked if I could have a photo with him and he was very kind and obliged.
Sean Evans
Okay, Stacy, first five down… five to go… are you ready?
Stacy Jones
I was born ready, Sean.
Stacy giggles as she does her best to act serious but can’t.
Sean Evans
I like your enthusiasm so let’s move onto wing number six which is Fiya! Fiya!
Nodding, Stacy picks up the sixth wing and takes a bite.
Stacy Jones
Not bad, not ba--
Suddenly the spice hits her and she begins to cough and splutter, covering her mouth with the napkin as she does so.
Stacy Jones
Fuck me, that’s hot…
Sean Evans
Yeah, tell me about it.
Stacy takes a few large gulps of water and fans herself down some more.
Stacy Jones
Okay, I’m ready.
Sean Evans
In your world of professional wrestling, you’ve had many nicknames over your career such as The Unbreakable One and the Heart of HYBRID, but some of your newer fans and the HYBRID fans may not know about your first two nicknames in the wrestling business, those being The Queen of Punishment and The Glampire. So for those unfamiliar with those two nicknames, can you tell us how those came about?
She dabs her face a little with her napkin and takes another drink of her water.
Stacy Jones
Yeah, so… I called myself the Queen of Punishment during my NWA days because at the time, I was married to Matt Robinson whose nickname was The Punisher so I figured since I was his Queen at the time and he was The Punisher, I came up with the Queen of Punishment.
Fanning herself down some more, she moves onto the milk and takes a few sips of it.
Stacy Jones
As for The Glampire? That was the nickname that my Dad gave me and I used to use it when I was training and then after he died, I brought it back for a while and started using it more.
Sean Evans
Ready to move on?
Stacy nods.
Sean Evans
Alright so this next one, wing number seven is Aka Miso.
Picking up the wing, she looks at it for a few moments before eventually taking a bite and immediately follows it up with a few swigs of milk.
Sean Evans
So during your near 11 year career in professional wrestling, you’ve won countless championships and accolades, so I’m going to give you three of those and you tell me which one meant the most to you. Your first NWA Starlet’s Championship win, your Grand Championship win and winning CWF’s Superwoman Battle Royal?
Stacy begins to breathe heavily as the pain from the hot wings is really building up now.
Stacy Jones
Jeezums Christmas…
She downs the rest of her glass of water.
Stacy Jones
Uh… they all mean the same to me for different reasons. The NWA Starlet’s Championship was my first ever professional title, and my Dad was in the crowd and witnessed me win it, so that’s very special to me. The Grand Championship win was very special because it was my first and only World title win to date… and winning the CWF Superwoman Battle Royal meant a lot because I was representing HYBRID and I went to battle against nine women from various companies, all of them top tier talents and I managed to walk away not only the winner, but with most eliminations with four.
Sean Evans
How are you holding up, Stacy?
Stacy Jones
I’m okay… but this next one is the one I’m most worried about.
Sean Evans
Yeah, this one is the one that really separates the men from the boys, or in your case, the women from the girls. It needs no introduction, wing number eight is Da Bomb.
Taking a deep breath, Stacy picks up the wing and gets stuck in.
Sean Evans
Over your years wrestling, you’ve made many friends over the years… and two of those friends you’ve made are Alissa Lacroix and your best friend, Zoey Madigan-Star. You’ve talked a lot about how good they are in the kitchen, but which one is the better cook?
Stacy Jones
You bastard…
Both of them laugh.
Sean Evans
Are you calling me a bastard because I’m making you eat hot wings or that I asked that question?
Stacy Jones
BOTH!
They laugh again.
Stacy Jones
In all seriousness though-- FUCK!!!
Stacy stands up and fans herself down as she begins to walk a few laps around the table.
Sean Evans
Yeah, take a few laps, Stacy…
After several laps, she re-takes her seat and drinks some more milk.
Stacy Jones
I can’t answer that question, both of them are phenomenal cooks and I love everything they do, and fuck you for asking that question. Next!
Some more laughs, even some heard off-screen from the camera workers and other people on set.
Sean Evans
Okay, Stacy, nearly there… wing number nine is Burn After Eating.
Stacy nods and picks up the wing and takes a bite.
Sean Evans
I must give you credit, Stacy, despite the clear pain you’re going through, you’ve taken the same sized bites each time. Some people tend to take smaller and smaller bites as they get further along.
Stacy Jones
Yeah, well… I like to go all--
The ninth wing suddenly hits her like a ton of bricks.
Stacy Jones
Mother fucker!
She downs the rest of her glass of milk as Sean turns to someone off camera.
Sean Evans
Can we get Stacy another glass of milk, please?
After a few moments, one of the camera crew appears on screen and hands Stacy another glass of milk.
Stacy Jones
Thank you…
She takes a few large gulps.
Sean Evans
Okay, Stacy, at the moment, you’re involved in a tag team called the Rock Hearts with Griffin Hawkins. You’re always poking fun at him for how bad he is at video games, so if you had the chance to replace him with your friend and fellow gamer, Jessica Matthews, would you?
Stacy Jones
One hundred percent, yes.
More laughter as Stacy begins to giggle uncontrollably.
Stacy Jones
I’m sorry, Griff! I love you really! Jeezums… I think I’m getting high off of this shit!
Sean Evans
Some people do actually say that, I know when we had Kevin Hart on the show, he was constantly saying he was high.
Sean then reaches for the final bottle and begins to shake it.
Sean Evans
Okay, Stacy, the final hurdle… it’s now time for The Last Dab XXX… and it’s tradition around here to put a little extra on the final wing. You don’t have to if you don’t want to.
He puts a little dab of the final hot sauce onto his wing and puts it back down on the table.
Stacy Jones
My mouth might be on fire, my tongue maybe numb and I might feel high as fuck, but I came here to do the whole shebang so you can bet your ass I’m putting some extra on.
She grabs the bottle and puts her own little dab onto her wing and picks it up.
Sean Evans
Alright, Stacy… cheers.
Stacy Jones

The two nod to one another before biting into the final wing.

Alright, Stacy… final question… and with the fire of the hot wings burning deep within your soul… to all the young hopefuls out there who want to follow in your footsteps and become a professional wrestler but might not think they can because of the way they look or whatever, what do you have to say to them?
Stacy Jones

She coughs and takes another large few gulps of milk.
Stacy Jones
Just work hard and you can achieve anything… you set your mind to. Wrestling nowadays has come… a long way… and it’s only getting better. Believe in yourself… never give up… and remember… no fear… no negativity.
Sean Evans

He begins to point at the various cameras around the room.
