Ana wakes up in a dark room. She looks around and is extremely confused.
Ana Evans: Where am I?
She hears a voice, and it has a little bit of an echo.
Voice: You're in your own head. I'm doing this to make a point. I'm trying to make sure you understand.
Ana Evans:What is it that you want to make me understand?
The voice laughs for a few seconds.
Voice: You'll see...
A scene fades into existence.
Ana Evans: No way.
Ana is shocked by what she is seeing. She sees herself and her sister, Amara. Amara is crying in her arms, and Ana is trying to comfort her.
Ana Evans:Please don’t do it. There are people here that love you. I love you. Mom loves you. This is gonna sound weird, but you’re the greatest thing to ever happen to me. You are the reason why I’m who I am today. I know what this feels like. Really I do. Your dad used to do things to Mom and I and I felt the exact same way you’re feeling right now. If you end your life, those people that are hurting you are gonna win. Those people that are hurting you wish they could be you. You’re going to reach heights that they will never reach. Remember. We’re in this together. Okay?
Amara hugs Ana, and wipes away her tears. As the scene fades away, tears begin to fall down Ana's face.
Voice: Get it now?
Ana wipes the tears off of her face.
Ana Evans: I still don't understand.
Voice: This should put it into perspective then.
Another scene fades into existence. Ana knows immediately what's going to happen.
Ana Evans: No, no, no, no. Please don't. Anything but this.
Ana sees herself in her living room watching TV, and she picks up her phone. It's her mom. As Ana watch herself pick up the phone, she mouths "She did it". As soon as she sees herself put the phone down and start crying, the scene fades away, she falls to the ground and starts crying. Her hands are shaking. Her voice is trembling.
Ana Evans: Why are you doing this to me? I've done no wrong.
The voice begins to laugh again.
Voice: I've seen you have anxiety attacks. I've seen you have panic attacks. I've seen your breakdowns. The thing is, you're having trouble going through this alone. It's pretty obvious, Ana. Don't get me wrong, you're a fighter. You've been fighting ever since your sister died. But, even now, you still have those moments. It's consistently one step forward, 10 steps back. You need to let it all out. You need to take out all of that anger. You need to let me take over. I've been hiding long enough. You know that you need me.
Ana pauses for a moment.
Ana Evans: Now isn't the time. I'll call for you when I need you...
