The scene opens up backstage at the Collision Center on Captain Cosmo as he puts on his best smile possible as he stares into the camera.
Captain Cosmo: Ah yes! Hello friends and fans of the Wrestling of the New Frontier! Captain Cosmo here! And, he has a special guest with him this evening!
The camera pans out to reveal the NFW Owner, Steven Brody sitting beside him and Cosmo points to him while still staring into the camera.
Captain Cosmo: It is the very wonderful owner of the Wrestling of the New Frontier himself! Mr. Steven Brody!
The Captain finally turns his attention to Brody.
Captain Cosmo: Thank you friend Steven for taking the time out of your very busy schedule to talk with Captain Cosmo!
Now, most people may look at Captain Cosmo as a bit of an oddball, but Steven Brody, ever the kind soul that he is, just smiles with a sense of amusement as he nods a greeting to the camera then to the Captain himself.
Steven Brody: Well, you’re welcome, Captain. And thank you for having me.
Cosmo looks back to the camera.
Captain Cosmo: Jeff?! Where are your manners?! Say hello to friend Steven!
Jeff: Hello, Mr. Brody.
Brody gives another nod, this one to Jeff behind the camera as the Captain continues.
Captain Cosmo: Well, we just got done with the final block matches of the Tournament of the Memorial to Vlad the Blackheart! Captain Cosmo has been enjoying it so far and we now know that the final shall be between the Extraordinary Geekette, Cali-Kate and the Apocalypse that is Walking, Adrianna Salvatore! It should be quite the wonderful contest! What are your thoughts on this year’s tournament?!
We can see the sheer amusement and delight on Brody’s face as he listens to Cosmo speak before giving his response.
Steven Brody: I’ll start by saying this. We’ve got some of the best wrestlers in the world, right here in the company - on both brands that we air. This is the only time of year we truly get to see opposite sides meet in the middle. This tournament’s about finding out who the best of the best is and I think we’re going to see that next week. Make no mistake, as CEO and just as a fan of professional wrestling, first and foremost, I’m proud of everyone’s performances this year.
Cosmo nods.
Captain Cosmo: Yes, indeed! Captain Cosmo agrees! Watching the tournament progress… were there any surprises?! Because Captain Cosmo was certainly surprised by some of the outcomes!
Brody listens, nodding with a thoughtful look on his face.
Steven Brody: A few surprises, yes. All pleasant. It looked like some individuals might have started to give up while others didn’t let a rough beginning keep them down. Then, if we’re going to talk about surprises. Well, Logan Bailey…
Brody pauses and shakes his head. Viewers are probably getting a chuckle over the incident that he’s very likely referencing.
Steven Brody: That kid is full of them.
Again, the Captain nods.
Captain Cosmo: Yes! Friend Logan did manage to pull off a couple of unexpected victories! Captain Cosmo was pleasantly surprised by that! If you’re watching?! Well done, friend Logan!
Cosmo awkwardly gives a thumbs up, it’s clear he’s certainly not a professional when it comes to interviews, or being in front of a camera in general.

Captain Cosmo: Do you have a prediction on who you think will win this year's Tournament of the Memorial to Vlad the Blackheart?!
Brody sits, listening the entire time, chin resting in his hand while a finger idly taps his mouth. The question brings a smirk out of the man as he adjusts his posture to sit straighter. He presses his fingertips together and thinks for a moment.
Steven Brody: If we look at the statistics of the two finalists: we have, on one hand - Adrianna Salvatore - former NFW Women’s Champion, who dominated the scene for nearly a year. I’d dare say, it took quite a bit, maybe even some controversial tactics to knock her off that throne. Afterwards, she had a hell of a run as the United States Champion. A title she did lose in a multi person match. After that, she picked herself up and kept going. On the other hand…
Brody now has both hands out as if he’s weighing a scale.
Steven Brody: We have Cali-Kate. Former Undisputed Champion. A decorated former champion where she’s previously worked. Her tactics and methods as of late may be seen as questionable but nobody can deny the results. So you’ve got the proverbial unstoppable force and the immovable object on a collision course. One of them’s got to give, at some point. As to which one that is?
Brody looks right at the camera… and he just shrugs!
Captain Cosmo: One could say that the two finalists are on a… trauma course rather than a collision course!
Cosmo turns to the camera with a cheesy grin on his face and the camera shakes from side to side causing the Captain’s grin to fade.
Captain Cosmo: What?! Captain Cosmo thought it was funny! Captain Cosmo is still trying to figure out this humor that you humans use a lot!
The Captain shakes his head as he turns back to Brody.
Captain Cosmo: Well friend Steven! Captain Cosmo thanks you for your time! He understands that you are a very busy man and that you have the big finale to prepare for! Captain Cosmo has thoroughly enjoyed watching his first Tournament of the Memorial to Vlad the Blackheart! He believes it is a very nice thing to do for such a legendary human who used to do the wrestling! Captain Cosmo hopes to be involved in this tournament some time in the future!
