Gimmick:
No matter where she appears, Coda has an unflinching sense of honor. More recently, she seems more interested in helping younger newcomers to try to cultivate a better future for the sport, but that help comes with a caveat: she wants to push them to their limit through force. Others more capable than her won’t hold back, so she needs to prepare them. Otherwise, she likes to challenge capable opponents while she strongly dispises those with undeserved bravados. All in all, Coda is a tough combatant who craves self-improvement to prove once and for all she’s not weak.

Entrance Description:
The venue's lights fade to black as a sharp, electronic wail fills the air, signaling the beginning of Shyloom featuring FJØRA's anthem. The crowd stands in excitement, cheers and hollers ringing out. All eyes turn to the feminine silhouette bathed in spotlight, a cloud of mist gathering at her feet. Coda steps into view, adjusting her red face mask covering her nose and mouth. She raises her 33-inch kanabō war club high, head tilted back, as the audience erupts in approval.
The Beast of Busan strides down the aisle, the iron-studded staff slung over her shoulder. She glides along the apron, removing her red trench coat and folding it neatly beside the stairs. With a graceful climb up the turnbuckle, Coda stands tall, the beat of "Fight Forever" pulsing through the arena. The NFW crowd cheers as she takes a seat on the canvas, resting against the turnbuckle. She drops her weapon and removes her mask, offering a glimpse of her unsettling gaze before the official takes it away.

Favorite Weapon:
The kanabō Coda wields is a 33-inch two-handed Japanese war club made of oak wood, and shaped like a baseball bat with a thick heavy shaft tapering towards a rounded slender handle grip with a pommel as a counterbalance. Iron studs are embedded evenly around the surface throughout the octagonal blunt end to deliver more force. The area with the studs is approximately half of the weapon's entire length, and that side of the weapon is coated in a thin metal. In mythology, Japanese demons called oni were told to wield massive kanabōs in their depictions and samurais were known to use the weapons too. Coda's version might be the size of a modern baseball bat compared to the much larger weapons of mythical folklore, but it's still heavier than most foreign objects and thus more cumbersome as well. This makes accuracy vital. The opponent could take advantage if the weapon misses its mark.

WRESTLING INFO
In-Ring Strengths:
- HYPERFOCUS: When it's time to fight, Coda enters a flow state that allows her to focus intensely on her opponents. She can study their techniques and predict their movements, which helps her anticipate their offense and counter with precision and speed. However, this intense focus can also make her vulnerable to injury or burnout if she is not careful.
- PAIN RESISTANT: Coda has a hyposensitivity to pain, which means she hardly flinches or shows distress in response to levels of pain that others might consider unbearable. This is because she knows she has been hit but does not feel the pain as acutely as others do. This high pain tolerance can give her an advantage in the ring, but it may also mask potential injuries that she may need to address.
- STRONG STYLE FORCE: While slower than most competitors of her size, Coda has been praised for her hard-hitting strikes with the intent to overwhelm her opponent. She uses her no-nonsense arsenal to apply constant pressure and control the match's pace. This allows her to wear down her opponent physically and mentally and gain the upper hand.

She uses her no-nonsense arsenal to apply constant pressure and control the match's pace. This allows her to wear down her opponent physically and mentally and gain the upper hand.
- TOOLS OF THE BATTLEFIELD: Coda is skilled at using the environment as a weapon, including the ring itself, the ring apron outside the ropes, the ring posts, and the barricade at ringside. She is also aware of her opponent's positioning during submissions and pins, which allows her to avoid rope breaks and maximize her advantage.
- WEAR DOWN SUBMISSIONS: She wears her opponent down physically and mentally with submissions throughout the match. This allows her to control the pace when she's in control.
- HYPERFOCUS DOWNSIDE: Coda's ability to focus intensely on her opponents can be a strength, but it can also be a weakness. It may make her vulnerable to injury or burnout and make it difficult for her to adapt to changing circumstances during matches. This could lead to her downfall.
- BLINDED BY RED: Coda's usually calm and composed demeanor can quickly turn to fiery anger when her opponents disrespect or underestimate her. While this surge of emotion can give her an initial boost of energy and determination, it can also cloud her judgment and lead to rash decisions that put her at a disadvantage.

While this surge of emotion can give her an initial boost of energy and determination, it can also cloud her judgment and lead to rash decisions that put her at a disadvantage.
- CODE OF HONOR: Coda's adherence to a strict code of honor often puts her at a disadvantage in the ring. She refuses to use underhanded tactics to win a match, even if it means putting herself in a vulnerable position. Instead, she will release a submission hold after the rope break, invite her opponent to strike first, and even willingly disarm herself to level the playing field. While her honorable nature may gain her the respect of her peers and fans, it can also lead to unexpected losses in the ring.
- POOR AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER: Coda's slower speed compared to other wrestlers of her size can make it difficult for her to keep up with fast, high-flying opponents. She often has to rely on strategy and quick thinking to ground them and gain an advantage in the match. However, this can be challenging and puts her at a disadvantage against opponents who are more agile and quick on their feet.
- SENSORY OVERLOAD: After a draining match, she may need to withdraw to a quiet place with as little lights as possible to calm down and regulate her senses. This can make it difficult for her to engage with others or assist her allies in the ring for the next few segments, as she needs to prioritize her own well-being and mental health.
Strong Style. Technical. Submission.
Wrestling Attire:
Coda dons a front-wrap sports bra. She also wears forearm-length compression glove sleeves with colored linings under buckled forearm guards with a metal aesthetic. The sleeves sling over her middle fingers, cover both her thumbs, and have small decorative metal plates on the back along the knuckles. The rest of her fingers are exposed. Her skirt is pleated, designed to look like a Roman gladiator's pteruges with strips of multiple layers of fabric over a pair of tight-fitting shorts. The front flap of the skirt shows an unicursal hexagram symbol. Knee/shin guards with a metal aesthetic are buckled around the back of her knee-high socks and boots, which makes it look very similar to her forearm guards. The boots have chunky soles and are lace-up at the front behind five buckled straps.
On her way to the ring, Coda wears a customizable disposable surgical face mask. The mask has adjustable elastic earloops while a hidden aluminum metal nose piece keeps it in place, concealing her nose and mouth. Additionally, she wears a button-down jacket. The coat and the surgical mask fit with the colors and themes of the in-ring attire.

Finishing Moves:
- Symphonic Elbow — running discus upward elbow strike with a loud kihap shout, often to a groggy opponent leaning against a vertical surface such as the turnbuckle. It might start with a setup taunt in a front stance from an opposite corner with a hand gripping the top rope and a twitching back foot when in the ring, but that doesn't happen each time. With enough space to run, the Symphonic Elbow could be struck from almost anywhere. Her sharp elbow can slice open an opponent's skin to make them bleed or hit with enough blunt force to land the knockout victory! While focused on her target, Coda's vulnerable from the sides. She's temporarily unprotected if the elbow strike misses its mark, too.
- Rhapsody — duck under leg trip takedown transitioned into an arm triangle choke with body scissors. Though, if she can get behind her opponent, she can attempt to pull them back into an arm triangle choke with body scissors from almost anywhere.
- Magnum Opus — With the opponent at an elevated position (usually on the turnbuckle), Coda will attempt to counter by joining them, then transition into an avalanche Death Valley driver to the ring apron, to ringside, onto a weapon, etc. This is a relatively rare desperation finisher capable of either knocking her opponent out or ending the bout via referee stoppage. This cannot be done to 250-pound heavyweights or heavier. It hurts Coda, too.
