Andrew Payne: Welcome to another episode of Trauma, ladies and gentlemen! Andrew Payne here, joined by Miranda Augustino.
Miranda says nothing, technically. She just lets out a loud mariachi yell.
Andrew Payne: That was impressive.
Miranda Augustino: Can Issy do that?
Andrew Payne: I haven’t asked her.
Miranda Augustino: Ya should. It works wonders.
Andrew Payne: What do you mean it---know what? Nevermind. Let’s just get ready for the show. Tonight, everybody, we got our main event: the U.S Title is on the line as Anaquin Adams prepares to defend against a tough challenger in Kairi Higurashi. We’ll be crowning another contender to Cali-Kate’s Perseverance Championship.
Miranda Augustino: So a bad, hot bitch can beat that ass!
Andrew Payne: And we’ll be having our first qualifier match for the Guardians of the Pyramid Match which will take place as the main event at Sudden Death in July where six men and women will challenge for Anton Crowley’s Undisputed Championship.
Miranda Augustino: So Big Papacito can beat that ass!
Andrew Payne: We’ve got all that and more. Hell, let’s not waste anytime and take it backstage as we get ready for the first contest.

“I’m so glad you came all this way.”
A gentleman’s British accent.
“Well, I wanted to see you wrestle in person, Uncle Nate.”
And a lady’s softly entwined British-French accent.
Within the halls of the Collision Center, a camera discovers Nathaniel Dixon and Ami Fitzsimmons walking and talking side-by-side. The newest Trauma superstar and a Collision interviewer? At first glance it’s a rare sight, but considering the two of them are related by blood, it makes perfect sense. His ring attire underneath a black jacket contradicts her spring wear, as a wrestler and a spectator should. He looks to his niece with a smile on his face.
Nathaniel Dixon: I’ve done a little research on Mr. Bones. Dear Lord, I fear it’s going to be an easy win for me.
Ami Fitzsimmons: You shouldn’t underestimate your opponent, Uncle Nate! Remember...
“Anyone can defeat anyone at any given time,” they recite the same quote in simultaneous fashion. While Ami giggles, Nathaniel chuckles softly and nods.
Nathaniel Dixon: I’m well aware, little Ami. Don’t worry. I won’t take him lightly. It has been quite some time since I’ve performed in the squared circle. I’ve done my best to keep up while I was away.
Looking up to him, Ami smiles and folds her hands in front of her. Nathaniel looks back at her and slightly tilts his head. A softer, almost sad smile forms and he sighs softly.
Nathaniel Dixon: You truly resemble your mother.
Her eyes slightly widen at this sudden revelation and she stops in her movements. She breaks eye contact with her oldest uncle and looks down at the floor.
Ami Fitzsimmons: ...Mother… I hardly knew her. I was three when she and my Father lost their lives in the car accident.
Upon closer inspection, there’s a brief narrowing of Nathaniel’s eyes. He, too, stops and places a gentle hand upon his niece’s shoulder. When she looks up, his facial features are soft.
Nathaniel Dixon: My apologies, Ami. I did not mean to upset you. Allow me to make things right. I have a surprise for you.
Ami Fitzsimmons: ...for me?
Curious. She watches in anticipation as he reaches inside of his jacket and pulls out a manilla folder. He extends it to her, and she accepts it graciously. When she opens the folder, the camera’s able to view what is a new contract. Her eyes widen in shock and awe, even as she looks up to her uncle.
Ami Fitzsimmons: Is this…?
Nathaniel Dixon: Yes, a new interviewer contract -- for Collision and Trauma. You’ll no longer be exclusive to the red brand of NFW. Ms. Santiago and I worked on it together. All you need to do is sign and date it. Of course, the decision is yours to make and you don’t have to make it at this very moment. Give yourself some time to think about it. Talk to Oliver and get his opinion. Don’t worry about travel arrangements. I can help you organize living arrangements here in Chicago.
It’s soft but the camera’s mic picks up Ami whispering “living…?” This is a lot for her to process -- and Nathaniel knows this. He offers her a warm smile and leans down to kiss the top of her head. She can’t help but smile at this, briefly looking over the contract’s details before making eye contact with him.
Ami Fitzsimmons: Thank you, Uncle Nate. I’ll talk to Ollie as soon as I get back home.
Nathaniel Dixon: But of course, my dear niece. Now then, I’ll escort you to your seat so you can enjoy the show.
Ami Fitzsimmons: Alright. I’ll cheer the loudest for you!
Dixon smiles at this and proceeds to lead the way. Fitzsimmons closes the folder and holds it close to her as they walk along.

The view crossfades to a gathering backstage between Faye Brown, her newly-freed boyfriend Logan Bailey, and someone who's currently off-screen to their left, our right. The three are laughing among one another, before Faye pipes up to the off-screen person.
Faye Brown: So, uhh... how much would I have to pay you to show us a magic trick?
Logan Bailey: Really, we could all use the levity.
The view pans to the right, revealing a small, twiggy, gothy looking woman who Trauma viewers haven't seen since October. The crowd cheers wildly for...
Andrew Payne: HEY, look at that! It's Emelie Sanclemente, former Undisputed Champ!
Miranda Augustino: No...
Andrew Payne: The Magical Mighty Mouse! Ms. Fight Like Heck herself!
Miranda Augustino: Also the former Phantom Lord, because that worked out SO WELL...
Andrew Payne: We don't talk about that...
Emelie Sanclemente: Well... that'd be hard given Zoey's on the other brand and all...
Faye Brown: Naaaah, I bet you could totally do one on your own!
Emmie playfully thinks on this proposition for a second, before pulling out a tome from the backpack she's sporting.
Logan Bailey: Yo, what? You carry a tome with you?
Emelie Sanclemente: A good magician never comes unprepared, friend! Is there any specific spell you'd like me to cast, Faye?
The Resident Rockhouse puts an inquisitive hand to her chin, thinking on it.
Faye Brown: You know what, Emmie? Surprise me.
Sanclemente nods with that million-dollar smile of hers, about half-a-million she picked up from her mentor and close friend Zoey Madigan-Star. She begins speaking backwards, before pointing at Logan. All of a sudden, Logan shrinks down from his 5-foot-9-inch, 177 pound frame to a 4-foot-11-and-a-half-inch, 95 pound frame. His hair changes from short and brunette to long, flowing, and bleach blonde. His body morphs from a fairly fit, athletic build to a small, but mighty build, complete with once-enhanced breasts and a fairly plump rear. Logan, now fully taking the shape of Faye's friend and recent tag partner Eavan Maloney, whips... her hair away and reveals a shocked look to Faye and Emelie, who are just as shocked themselves.
Logan Bailey: What the fuck is this?! Emelie, what did you do to me?!
Emelie Sanclemente: Logan, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't think it'd work!
Logan breathes fairly heavily before calming down a bit, still looking at Emelie.
Logan Bailey: OK, is there... anything you can do to reverse this?
Sanclemente starts flipping through the pages of her tome.
Emelie Sanclemente: There's gotta be something in here... umm, let's go talk to Issy?
Logan Bailey: And have her first sight of me since Faye got me back be THIS?
Faye Brown: Logan... calm down. You ain't my first rodeo with a girl, aight? First one with a girl via literal magic, but you're far from my first overall. Is this weird? YEAH, A LITTLE!
Logan Bailey: YEAH, TELL ME ABOUT WEIRD, FAYE!
Faye Brown: Hey, look. You said it yourself before... this... that we need the levity. You just came off of nearly being sacrificed to the Mayan God of death. Honestly, yeah, this is weird. But I think this? This is funny. And I won't lie, I didn't think you'd be hot as a girl, but I can safely say that I was HELLA wrong.
Logan Bailey: FAYE!
Faye Brown: Hey, I'm just sayin'! Look in a mirror, babe. I think you'll agree. Remember the first time you saw Eavan?
Logan gives Faye a very confused look.
Logan Bailey: Yeaaaaah?
Faye grabs a mirror for Logan to see her temporary new face into.
Faye Brown: Well, lookie there, babe. Emmie? Thanks, really. I know it was a shock that that worked, but hey. I can get used to it myself.
Emelie Sanclemente: Well... don't for too long, because I think I have an idea on how Logan's gonna change back.
Faye Brown: Yeah, but still, thanks. Let me get you the money for that... what's your rate?
Logan Bailey: Holy... I--I'm hot!
Faye Brown: Told ya, babe!
Emelie Sanclemente: For friends, first spell's free, friend.
Emmie smiles sweetly at Faye, who nods with a chuckle.
Faye Brown: No, seriously, what's your rate, you deserve compensated for... that.
Emelie Sanclemente: I... was being serious. I--I couldn't--I couldn't accept money for... that.
Faye Brown: Oh! All right, then!
Brown offers Emelie a handshake, which Emelie accepts by giving Faye a hug.
Emelie Sanclemente: That's for everything you've been through since March Mayhem. I've been seeing that show after show, I could sense you needed that.
Faye Brown: Mm... thanks, Emmie. You're a good friend... hey, c'mon Logan, we gotta get something arranged for next week!
Brown and Bailey, who's still looking at her new face in the mirror, leave Emelie to her own devices as they head out towards the ring. Emelie watches the couple leave with that sweet smile before snapping and disappearing in a cloud of purple smoke.

Match #1/Tag Team #1 Contender's Match
Fast Food vs The Brother's Drake
“Hold up big boys.”
The Brother’s Drake turn around to see Nacho Grande and French Fry standing with their chests puffed out.
“We’re having us a pose off.”
Torian and Dylan look at Nacho as if he’s crazy, then he raises his arms and ‘flexes’
“Come on, it’s time for us to do the sexy flexy time!”
Nacho and Fry both start doing various bodybuilder poses which gets some cheers from the crowd but mostly laughs.
“Oh yea, see how the people love us. Come on chickens. All these people laughing because you two buff guys are afraid of some posing.”
Torian and Drake have both had enough of the shenanigans. Dylan levels Nacho with a big boot as Torian hits French Fry with a dropkick right on the chin. The little guy goes inside out as Torian kips up. Dylan grabs Nacho, tosses him to Torian then hits the ropes. Dylan almost levels the rotund luchador with a clothesline as Torian throws him back with a vicious leg sweep. Nacho is out as he rolls to the outside, landing with a thud as French Fry is hauled up onto the shoulders of Dylan Drake. Torian goes up top, flies off and they just destroy the poor young idiot with the Notorious Dragon. Torian steps out as Dylan makes the cover
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!
~DING DING DING~
Thea Crawford: Your winners as a result of a pin fall… Dylan Drake, Torian Drake… THE BROTHERS DRAKE!
Now Dylan and Torian do a little bit of flexing as they celebrate their win, the crowd appreciative of their quick dominating wrestling, and some appreciative to see them flexing now.
Andrew Payne: Well, we have new number one contenders after that… interesting match.
Miranda Augustino: Interesting match? It was a fucking clown show. Those Drake guys, not my favorite, but they’re alright guys. Unless you do stupid shit like El Dumbass Grande in there.
Andrew Payne: It’s El Nacho Grande, and he was just trying to have a little bit of fun. He might have carried on a bit too much, but some people were having fun..
Winners: The Brothers Drake
Result: Via Pinfall

The view sees the door of General Manager Isabella Santiago, before zooming out to Faye Brown and the recently-gender-swapped Logan Bailey. Brown has her arms crossed and leans on the door's frame, while Bailey fidgets her fingers together a bit, waiting on her girlfriend.
Logan Bailey: What's... what's the hold up, Faye?
Faye Brown: ...dramatic effect.
Logan Bailey: Oh, because we're in a new segment now. I see.
Faye Brown: All is strange and vague.
Brown finally knocks on the door.
Faye Brown: GM? It's Faye again. With Logan this time.
Isabella Santiago: Come on in! Door is open!
There’s a bit of hesitation before Faye peeks her head around and sees Santiago sitting at her desk.
Faye Brown: OK, good, you’re sitting down. Soooo... a certain magical champion stopped by earlier and, uhh... Logan, you wanna finish that?
And Logan walks in. It’s still Logan, just... tiny, blonde, and Eavan-looking now.
Logan Bailey: Hi, boss. Emelie... your former face of the brand... well, she changed me into this. By accident, obviously... man, I still feel weird.
Isabella looks at Faye and then at Logan, then back at Faye, seemingly puzzled, but trying not to laugh at the circumstances.
Isabella Santiago: Looking good Logan.
Bailey kind of grimaces a bit with an inhale.
Logan Bailey: Mm.
Faye Brown: Uh... Emelie mentioned that she figured she had an idea on how Logan would change back and that we needed to see you. So... here we are, we’re seeing you.
Isabella sits there in silence for a moment as she is seen in thought for that little bit before smiling.
Isabella Santiago: Ah, yes, that. I think I have the solution. I have a trio I was looking to sign and you, Logan, and your new friend Cassie seem like the perfect trio to take them on.
A look of confusion crosses Faye’s face.
Faye Brown: But... but I’m the only signed wrestler of us three...?
Logan Bailey: Look, I just want...
Bailey motions her hands over her new body.
Logan Bailey: ...this undone. Any chance of that happening, I’ll take. Even if it’s a match.
Faye Brown: ...all right, sure. What’s the worst that could happen? Who’s the team?
Isabella Santiago: They call themselves The Spanish Inquisition. I'm interested in seeing what they do. If you win, I do think Logan will be back to normal... though I do like this new look.
Isabella laughs a little as she looks right at Logan. Faye kind of chuckles along, while Logan simply stands there, her face not moving an inch.
Logan Bailey: Faye, we’ll have to call Cassie.
Faye Brown: That’s fine, I’m sure she’ll pick up. Thanks, Ms. Santiago.
Isabella Santiago: It's my pleasure, darlings. I wish you good luck next week.
The squad of two nod before heading out of the room, shutting the door behind them.
??: Is the coast clear now?
Isabella Santiago: Come on out, Em, they're gone!
Out from behind a door walks the former Undisputed Champion, Emelie Sanclemente, struggling to hold back laughter.
Emelie Sanclemente: They really thought that was an accident!
And now out come the laughs from the USC-bound magician.
Isabella Santiago: I mean, I'd feel bad for Logan, but you made her so cute!
The camera cuts from the former Undisputed Champion and the General Manager laughing amongst themselves to Faye and Logan walking back to their locker room. Logan stops Faye, as she hears the laughter.
Logan Bailey: You... don’t think Emelie did this on purpose, do you?
The Resident Rockhouse chuckles a bit at the Animated Maniac’s question.
Faye Brown: Nah, babe. Emelie’s too sweet to do us that way.
Logan purses her lips a bit before poking them out to her left and nodding.
Logan Bailey: OK. I trust her then.
Though the tone in her voice isn't full of that trust. Anyway, the two continue their walk back to their locker room...
==========================================================
The camera goes from the previous scene directly to another backstage area of the arena where the cameraman rushes in on a pair of figures mixed up in the distance. Getting closer, they’re recognized as FM Young and Adrianna Salvatore. Not only are they “mixed up”, they’re flat out going at each other. Each has a grip on the other with one hand while their other fist flies at one another’s head and body. This isn’t a catfight between two ladies. This is a scrap. A brawl between two machines of the brand.
Miranda Augustino: Hey whoa!!! What the hell are these two doing?!
Andrew Payne: I don’t think we need to ask, Mir! We know exactly what’s going on! FM Young was looking for Adrianna Salvatore after that match at Manifest Destiny II!!
Miranda Augustino: Well, mixed feelings, I know she’s trying to avenge Risa Jackson but the bitch blames Papi and Katie baby as much as she blames Adrianna!
Andrew Payne: We need this broken up now before another incident pops off!
Miranda Augustino: Fuck it, let ‘em kill each other!
FM drives Adrianna back into the wall, hands grasping at her throat and face and she starts firing off elbows and forearms. Adrianna eats a few before catching the last shot and rocks FM with a headbutt. She switches positions then, getting FM against the wall in a Clinch and starts throwing knees into the midsection. As FM starts to buckle, Adrianna takes her by the hair and runs her off the wall, across the little space in the back of the arena they’re tucked into, throwing her over a table and into a stack of boxes. She pushes her hair out of her face and just lets out a yell, starting to turn away when FM’s back on her feet and comes barreling back into the camera frame, tackling Adrianna into a chain link fence that cordons off the breakers for the arena. The fence buckles and FM starts just ramming her shoulder into the midsection of Adrianna, rattling the chain link wall and door.
Andrew Payne: Shit, someone get these two away from there! If this spills into that area, someone’s gonna get hurt!!
Miranda Augustino: Someone’s gonna get KILLED!!!! That’s all electrical shit, Andy!!
Adrianna starts throwing elbows down across FM’s back and neck to get her off of her. FM comes up with a full on uppercut that catches her right in the jaw and rocks her. Adrianna grabs her jaw, shaking the dizziness out as FM backs up and comes running in with a Shotgun Dropkick. Adrianna hits the chain link door, it snaps off the hinges and she goes falling backwards into the breaker control area. FM starts to advance just as a mob of arena security comes rushing in and grabs her, begging her to calm down and back off. Isabella Santiago’s there among them, calling for order. Wanting both women to calm down. Referees show up, moving past the security and FM to go check on Adrianna but a commotion starts up as Adrianna comes running back in and practically mosh dives over the heads of the security guards. She dives right in with a flying fist and knocks FM right in the mouth. This does little more than just leave the Lone Tigress with blood on her mouth as she and Adrianna continue to try and get at each other as the mass of referees and security pull them apart.
Andrew Payne: I don’t know what’s gonna come of this but I can bet it ain’t gonna be pretty!!!
Miranda Augustino: No shittin’, carnal!
Things just appear to be calming down with the two women willing to go separate ways, albeit with a flustered General Manager Santiago and a mob of security and referees standing in between them. Even as FM Young walks backwards, watching Adrianna, the blonde, black leather clad woman has simply turned her back on everyone there and moseys down the hall, visibly wiping her mouth and looking at her fingers before we cut back to ringside.

Match #2/Singles Match
Nathaniel Elijah-Alexander Dixon vs Jimmy Bones
Despite Nathaniel Dixon’s classy entrance, Jimmy Bones is not impressed. Once the bell rings, he steps up to Nathaniel, who is only three inches taller than him, and mouths off. Nathaniel steps back -- out of disgust, waving his right hand in front of his nose to suggest Jimmy’s breath reeks. Some of the fans can’t help but laugh, while Jimmy glares at him… and actually checks his breath with his left hand. With a scoff, he takes a swing at Nathaniel -- who dodges and seizes him in a wristlock, forcing him to turn around. He forces Jimmy into one of the corners of the ring, who is struggling to break out. Referee Desiree begins a five-count, so Nathaniel releases Jimmy and steps back with his hands raised in feigned innocence. Jimmy shoots a glare at Nathaniel who takes a bow. He continues to play with Jimmy for a time, dodging and forcing him into the corner. Jimmy even yells “Stop putting me in the corner!” which receives a light-hearted chuckle in response.
Nathaniel Dixon: Oh? Nobody puts baby in a corner?
Such mockery! Growling, Bones finally breaks out on his own and back elbows Dixon between the eyes. Dixon’s caught off guard, staggering back, and Bones takes him down with a Lou Thesz press, following up with a flurry of rights and lefts. Dixon raises his arms to block some of the shots before he kicks Bones off of him. He gets to his feet and sidesteps an incoming punch, countering with Gentleman’s Hooks. Dixon takes Bones onto the mat with a Japanese arm drag and tries to force him into a cross armbar, but Bones slips away and nails Dixon with a low dropkick that sends him rolling out of the ring.
Coincidentally, he lands in front of where Ami Fitzsimmons is seated with the fans. Just as Dixon is getting to his feet, Fitzsimmons tries to warn him of the immediate danger -- as Bones suicide dives between the ropes and crashes right into Dixon! Fortunately, the barricade keeps the fans safe from the impact. With this, Desiree begins an official count. Gathering himself, Jimmy rises up and paintbrushes the back of Nathaniel’s head with a laugh. Ami calls out to her uncle, but Jimmy glares at her and shouts obscenities the camera’s mic doesn’t quite pick up. However, Nathaniel understood everything. He suddenly ensnares Jimmy in a crucifix hold.
Nathaniel Dixon: Apologize.
Jimmy Bones: Fuck you-- AGHHH!
Viciously, Nathaniel throws crucifix elbows at Jimmy. After a few shots connect, he releases Jimmy -- only to ensnare him in a tongan death grip. Nathaniel deliberately places him in front of where Ami’s seated so she can hear them clearly.
Nathaniel Dixon: One last time… Apologize.
Jimmy Bones: GHN! I’m sorry, I’m sorry-- FUCK!
Despite the apology, there’s an icy look in Nathaniel’s eyes as he applies more pressure… until he hears Desiree yell “seven!” He then relinguishes his grip on Jimmy and throws him back into the ring. Nathaniel is quick to follow and he doesn’t waste any time in locking Jimmy into “Horror & Bliss” (Triangle Armlock)! The fans watch as Bones is writhing in pain, struggling to break away or drag himself towards the ropes. Right when he’s about to tap out, Dixon purposely releases him and stands up. He reaches down to pull Bones to his feet -- and swiftly nails him with “Evolutionary Imperative” (European Uppercut)! Bones goes down with a THUD and Dixon places his right boot on his chest for the pin. Just like that, Desiree counts to three!
Ding, ding, ding!
Thea Crawford: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner of the match via pinfall… “The Intellectual Evolution” NATHANIEL DIXON!
Andrew Payne: I… wow. That is one man you don’t want to mess with.
Miranda Augustino: It’s not just that, Andrew! The second Jimmy bad mouthed Nathaniel’s niece, his fate was sealed. Like the flip of a switch, Dixon went from playful to vicious!
The reverse is also true. As Desiree raises Nathaniel’s hand in victory, while his theme plays, he takes in the mixed reactions of the fans and smiles. He places a kiss on Desiree’s hand, who blushes at the gesture, and rolls out of the ring to check on his niece. Ami smiles, an assurance she’s fine. Nathaniel’s more at ease and he smiles in return, then the commercial break kicks in.
Winner: Nathaniel Elijah-Alexander Dixon
Result: Pinfall

*EARLIER TODAY*
This pre-recorded interview opens up inside a small sushi restaurant where we see the happy face of Mayumi Tanahashi smiling as she waves and motions for the camera crew to come over.Mayumi Tanahashi: Kon'nichiwa.
As they come over the table is absolutely loaded with food, at least ten plates surround the small girl. She motions for the cameraman to sit down as she picks up a piece of sushi and gleefully eats.
Mayumi Tanahashi: Do you guys want anything? They’re pretty quick and everything is really good. I’ve got miso, takoyaki, gyoza, edamame, shumai, maguro, unagi, Ebi, salmon and avocado, deep fried California roll, those are yum yum for your tum tum, then crunchy spicy super white, a really good one they called a Haku roll. Oh, and they’re bringing something called The Moving Castle. It said it was deep-fried and I’ve never had deep fried sushi before.
She smiles as she snags one of the deep-fried California rolls and pops it into her mouth.
Mayumi Tanahashi: Back home in Tokyo, any time I would get upset or disappointed, there was this wonderful little sushi place I would go to. The chef Hinori was a childhood friend of my mother and he always knew when I had had a super rough time in training or a really hard match or some stupid boy hurt me. When that happens, I sort of become a black hole of hunger, and he would do a super special omakase, just for me. I didn’t do that here since well it’s not home and there’s no Hinori here that knows all my favorites and how to cheer me up, but the sushi is very very good and I tried some new stuff, which is nice since I am having the same kind of match on Trauma that I have already had in my last 2 NFW matches.
She sighs slightly then grabs one of the small takoyaki balls and pops it in her mouth.
Mayumi Tanahashi: I am very happy to compete and I am super grateful to have another chance to earn another chance to win the Perseverance title. I just... I am getting very very tired of having to turn around and look for other people so much. It was a fatal four way, and then another fatal four, and now it’s another fatal four way. I probably wouldn’t mind it so much if it didn’t seem like everyone just looks at me like an easy target. I get it, I'm almost certainly going to be the smallest one out there. Everyone has gotta be thinking they can take out the little girl. I get it, but I hope the other people in this match watched the other fatal four ways I was in. First one, everyone tried to do that and I ended up winning. The second one, everyone tried to do that, and okay yes I did lose it, but it was super close.
Mayumi points with her chopsticks, then grabs another piece of sushi and pops it into her mouth right as a large plate is brought to the table. Her eyes widen as she smiles and tries to figure out the best way to attack the deep fried sushi roll in front of her. She finally gets a piece, eats, and looks to be in a state of ecstasy as she devours the over the top sushi.
Mayumi Tanahashi: Okay that is super duper yummy. Really glad I got it. Back to match stuff though. This is the part where I talk about Trixie and the witch lady and the guy with the very strange hair, but what should I say? Trixie is a sweetheart, but she might be a little bit crazy. Lana Corvin better not use any spells to help her win and the other guy...
She stops, puts her chopsticks down for a second, pulls out her phone, and does a quick search. She starts giggling as she points at her phone, then turns it to the camera so we see the card for the upcoming Trauma with her finger hovering over the name Lil Juicy.
Mayumi Tanahashi: Lil Juicy? Why would anyone call themselves a name like that? Is he one of those rappers? Wait, why would a rapper be wrestling?
Mayumi shrugs, puts her phone away, retrieves chopsticks, and eats another piece from The Moving Castle. After a few moments of bliss, she takes a sip of water.
Mayumi Tanahashi: Silly name or not, spells or not, sweetheart or not, I have to go out there and beat all three of them. I still don’t like multi person matches, but tonight is a chance to go two for three in them and that’s way better than one for three. So tonight I will do what I do best and when I do I hope all of you watching at home and in the arena will FLY WITH MEEEEE!
She raises her hand with the classic piece sign as a big wide smile appears on her face and we fade out.
==========================================================
We cut to a backstage hallway in the Collision Center. We see Lana Corvin in her wrestling and entrance gear. She paces back and forth slowly before coming to a stop and looking into the camera with a smirk.
Lana Corvin: I’ve been in this situation before. New in a company, in a match for a title opportunity. But will it end up like the last one? I win the match and opportunity, then someone else gets my shot. I will not sit around and be placated with empty words and promises. I am a Corvin. We get what we deserve and we do not suffer fools or false promises. Remember that when I win. I WILL get my shot and I WILL take that title.
Lana scoffs and shakes her head.
Lana Corvin: Enough about the future. Let’s have a look at my opponents tonight. First, Mayumi. The girl who failed at Manifest Destiny to claim the title. She gets a second chance to fail. But we all know she will be running her mouth about how she won’t waste this chance. It’ll be different this time, I promise!
Lana rolls her eyes.
Lana Corvin: Then we got another relatively new person in Trixie Decker. Do we want to take bets on how long before she mentions her match against Anton Crowley? With the way she brings it up over and over and over again you’d think that would be the highlight of her career. And if that’s the case? Not much of a career then, is it? But I’m sure you’ll do you best here too. Then you can brag about how you were in a match with Lana Corvin.
Lana chuckles.
Lana Corvin: Lil Juicy, well, you’re just lucky to be here, aren’t you? Try not to get hurt. Doesn’t matter who is in this match or why they think they deserve to be there or win. I’m in the match. That means I’m gonna win. That’s just a fact. Sooner you accept that, the sooner you’ll get over it. Because remember, when Corvins win, It ain’t luck.
Lana smirks and walks down the hallway away from the camera.

Match #3/Perseverance Title Qualifier Match
Lil Juicy vs Lana Corvin vs Mayumi Tanahashi vs Trixie Decker
The four competitors all start out in the ring as they all stare each other down. Trixie goes right after Lana and Mayumi goes right for Lil Juicy who slides out of the ring, but that doesn’t save him as Mayumi delivers a slingshot plancha onto him on the floor. Mayumi gets up and rolls back into the ring as she and Trixie begin to work together for the time being on Lana and the two of them deliver a double suplex on the second generation star. Mayumi goes for the cover, but Trixie pulls her off and the two of them begin to fight now. As they are exchanging strikes though, Lana comes charging and takes them both down with a double clothesline. Lil Juicy comes in from behind though and delivers a dropkick to the back of Lana who stumbles forward and when she turns around, Juicy delivers a superkick on her that sends her to the outside. Juicy grabs Trixie and pulls her up, going for a powerbomb, but Trixie is able to slip out behind and deliver a snap German suplex on him before Mayumi delivers a diving foot stomp on Trixie and goes for a cover, only to get a two count. She then scrambles to Juicy and tries again and gets another two count.
Mayumi gets up to her feet and climbs to the top rope again and as she does, Lana gets up to the apron and just shoves her off, sending her flying down and into the barricade below. Lana steps back into the ring and she ducks a clothesline by Juicy before hitting him with a STO. She delivers a kick to the face for good measure before focusing on Trixie. She grabs Trixie and sends her into the corner before charging in and delivering a high knee to her. She snapmares Trixie out of the corner before climbing to the second rope and diving down with a forearm to the back of the head and neck of Trixie. Juicy is back to his feet and Lana avoids a spear before being hit with Hecate’s Dagger. Lana picks Juicy and delivers the Glorifier. As this is happening, Mayumi is back up and she delivers Final Flight on Trixie and both of them go for a pin and the referee counts three and both get up, convinced they have won.
Andrew Payne: Who won?!
Miranda Augustino: I say Lana won this match!
Both women clearly think they have won this match and are arguing with each other as on the screen, appears Isabella Santiago.
Isabella Santiago: This is quite the predicament here, isn’t it? Two pins at the same time and two three counts. I know how we’ll settle this. Next week, Mayumi Tanahashi vs Lana Corvin and the winner moves on to challenge for the Perseverance Championship at Sudden Death.
Andrew Payne: Looks like we got a rematch, next week!
Miranda Augustino: Beat that ass, chica!
Lana stares Mayumi down as the much smaller woman doesn’t back down and we go to commercial.
Winner: N/A
Result: Double Count

Somewhere backstage in the Collision Center, we see Viola Mancini posing a bit for the camera, as she egotistically lets it drink in her natural beauty, before speaking about her upcoming bout with La Silencia.
Viola Mancini: "Tonight, you have myself facing off against the woman known as La Silencia, who is some street rat from Mexico, who tries to glorify vandalism and petty thievery while looking like Shantae. Let me tell you, it's best you have that mask on, because you're gonna need it after I'm done with you…"
She said, when somewhere off screen, a loud noise would begin to interrupt her and cause Viola to lose her train of thought. Cameron and Shawn Worley lean into the shot.
Cameron Worley: “Sorry, y’all, Bubba got excited and kinda knocked some stuff over…”
Shawn Worley: “We’ll be cleanin’ that up presently!”
Viola looked a bit shocked seeing these two, as she looked over to watch them already yelling and talking loudly over the Bruins and Islanders game, which would be in the second period around the time Trauma is airing.
Viola Mancini: "What is this? You're at work acting like hooligans over the game on TV? Whatsa matter with you?"
Viola says, a bit of her accent slipping out a bit as she looked over at the trio of "good ol' boys" and then at the TV briefly. Cameron frowns at her in confusion.
Cameron Worley: “Y’all ain’t a hockey fan? We’s watchin them Bruins and them Islanders let it rock! “
Shawn Worley: “Be better if it was still the Lightnin’ and the Canes but, this’ll do even if ain’t Baz’s beloved Devils or nothin’...”
Cameron Worley: “Wanna bet it’s still drivin’ them MSG fans crazy that it’s “the other” New York team?”
Shawn frowns.
Shawn Worley: “I thought that was the Sabres?”
Cameron snickers.
Cameron Worley: “It is but they treat the Islanders and Nets that way too cause it ain’t the Rangers and Knicks… it’s like the Yankees and Mets and Giants and Jets too. “
Shawn Worley: “Sheeeeit, they got them a whole mess of teams to root for…”
Given that Viola was born in Queens, the location of Madison Square Garden, she wasn't pleased with that remark and commented on it.
Viola Mancini: "It's all in the boroughs… you don't know a damn thing about New York! And you wear that moniker without even knowing the tiniest iota of knowledge about the families. Disgrazia! I grew up dreaming of square Marden, while you three country bumpkins bring shame to the mere concept of Cosa Nostra!"
She raised her voice, getting more and more flustered as she spoke.
Cameron and Shawn stare at her in shock.
Shawn Worley: “She’s talkin’ to us, right?”
Cameron Worley: “She is…”
Shawn Worley: “She know that dog don’t hunt?”
Cameron Worley: “Don’t think she cares.”
Viola Mancini: "How dare you call yourselves Mafia? Our family is a blood bond, while your family is a dating pool! You're disgusting. You go change that channel… I'm going out there and showing you what we're all about. La Silencia is going to be silenced for good!"
She says, storming off the scene, annoyed by the trio as the game would play in the background.
Shawn Worley: “So what crawled up her ass?”
Cameron Worley: “I… have no idea… but I got a feelin we gonna find out and it ain’t gonna be a good thing either.”

Match #4/Singles Match
La Silencia vs Viola Mancini
As the match begins, we see Viola trying to persuade La Silencia to a friendly bout with a handshake. Silencia takes her hand, as Viola was about to pull her in for a short-arm clothesline, however, there is no honor among thieves, as Silencia pulled Viola into a shoulder block to the midsection, and then wrenched her arm to ground the taller woman.
Silencia would deliver a pair of elbows to her left arm, as she then hopped up to attempt a jumping headbutt to Viola, but, Viola would reverse into an arm drag to create some distance. Silencia hopped up for a jumping knee strike, but Viola caught her leg and dragged her to the center of the ring while she hopped over. Mancini laced her leg over Silencia's, before nailing her with a Windmill Kick and going for an early pin, but only receiving a 2 count.
Viola would mount Silencia, as she goes for some punches while she is down, as official Leone begins to count for a disqualification, which Viola stopped at four, and insulted him in Italian. Antonio retaliated back in Italian, as they both argued, while Silencia recovered and tried to sneak in a win with a schoolgirl pin, however, Viola narrowly kicked out before the three count.
Viola threw a punch at Silencia, but she caught her fist and then held her finger while she pleaded with her to calm down, as Silencia would snap her finger, jamming it as Mancini held her hand in pain while rolling to the outside to recover.
As she was outside, Viola would pop her finger back into place, as Silencia went out to the apron, before charging at her with a leaping shoulder block to take her down again. She then rolled Viola under the bottom rope and climbed up the turnbuckle, setting her up for the Paseo del Dolor.
Silencia leapt off, but Viola rolled out of the way, causing her to tuck and roll. Viola gets back to her feet, as La Silencia rushed in for a spear, but she sidestepped and caused Silencia to collide into the corner. With her weakened, Viola would run in for a corner clothesline, as she followed up for a bulldog, planting her in the center of the canvas. Viola would taunt, as she was ready to set up the Concrete Stiletto. She runs back to the ropes as Silencia was getting up, before Viola is caught with an inverted atomic drop, and then a scoop slam to the mat. She followed up with a ground version of the Paseo del Dolor and went for a pin. 1.. 2.. no! Viola narrowly kicked out!
Annoyed, Silencia would grab Viola's hair and taunt her, before Viola retaliated with a big slap to the face. Silencia would try for a single leg dropkick, though, Viola caught it, and countered into a rolling single leg Boston crab. She wrenched her leg, looking for more pressure, but Silencia got to the rope to force a break.
Viola would ready herself to pick Silencia up for a high angle back suplex, as La Silencia landed on her feet and pushed her to cause Viola to stumble into the corner, as she slumped down and faced her. Thinking ahead, she would place a hand on the second turnbuckle pad while extending her other hand out to beg for mercy, as Silencia approached her. The masked gangster would start to lift Viola up, as she ripped the second turnbuckle pad off while watching La Silencia ready for her signature throat thrust. Mancini would then quickly retaliate with a headbutt, and then plant her face first into the exposed turnbuckle with the Lupara Bianca! She rolled the dazed woman onto her back, as the referee slid to count the pin. 1.. 2.. 3!
Thea Crawford: Here is your winner, by pinfall...VIOLA...MANCINI!
Andrew Payne: Welcome to the New Frontier, Viola Mancini! That’s a victory for the Godmother!
Miranda Augustino: That’s right! Rep your peoples, Andy!
Andrew Payne: What?
Miranda Augustino: You know. Y--nevermind.
Andrew Payne: You’re ridiculous.
Viola struts her stuff around the ring, arrogantly calling for the crowd to put their hands together for her. She then sticks her arm out, telling Referee Antonio Leone to raise it. He does, but she yanks her hand away a second later and bows up on the official, causing him to back up to the ropes.
Andrew Payne: This girl’s got an attitude on her, huh?
Miranda Augustino: Y’all Italians got tempers, huh?
Andrew Payne: …..Okay, fair point.
Winner: Viola Mancini
Result: Pinfall

Legion has her girls in the back getting ready for their upcoming match against the SBS, as she is giving her instructions to Danae and Kass, she looks over curiously, as she sees this other woman standing there. She had not invited her to her little fiesta with the girls, Legion gets up off the box she is sitting on then goes over to her as she taps her on the shoulder.
Legion: Do you mind we are working on our game plan. We do not like to be disturbed as such when we are planning with our girls, so who do you think you are?
Legion carefully inspected the woman. Legion was not going to have her secrets given away, but she figured there was a time and giving the woman time to explain herself would be something she was good at. The woman turns around, turns out it’s Isis, she has five inches on Legion, the height difference is noticeably.
Isis: I could care less about your game plan. Your secrets are safe with me. What does interest me at the moment Legion... is you!
With a smirk on her face, Isis pats Legion on the shoulder. Legion then swipes at her hand as the woman was patting her on the shoulder. Legion tilted her head to the side, then looking at the woman puzzled as to why she would come to her.
Legion: You are interested in us? We do not seem to understand as to why you would have interest in us?
Isis, not used to the ‘we’ talk, raises an eyebrow. She opts to overlook the way that Legion speaks, focusing more on what she has to say.
Isis: You or we or whatever is the only one who can give Mister J a message on my behalf. I am an admirer of his work. I imagine the two of us tearing apart the Collision Center. Why don’t... whatever pronoun I am supposed to use, tell Mister J I am looking for him. Thanks.
Legion: We are no messenger, especially for you. If you wish to deliver that message, then you find him yourself and tell him that. We are busy directing Kassandra and Danae at the moment, and Mister J is off for the evening, We do not feel we need him here right now.
Legion began to turn back to her girls. Isis places her hand on her shoulder before she can walk away.
Isis: One way or another Legion, Mister J will get my message....
Isis lets go of Legion. Legion turns around to stare at Isis, letting her know she didn’t appreciate the self proclaimed Utopian Female putting her hands on her a second time. Isis smirks, turns around and walks away.

Match #5/Tag Team Match
The SBS vs The Wolves of Legion
To the surprise of many, Kayako did not try her usual handshake ruse. Instead, she stood with a big smile on her face and waved at Danae. She did a little curtsy and twisted her foot on its toe, hands folded in front of her, just trying to look as cute as possible. Danae wasn’t buying it and lunged forward, going for a short range clothesline, but Kayako wasn’t a fool either. Again, she managed a ruse and slipped under Danae’s arm, turning and hitting a dropkick to her back. Danae stumbled forward into SBS’ corner. Kayako charged up in place then ran forward, diving at Danae for a corner splash but as she crashed into Danae, the big woman caught her in a bear hug and started carrying her across the ring. She didn’t see Kayako stick her arm out, however, and catch a tag from Masami - SBS’ own muscle - who hastily got into the ring and ran in for a chop block, knocking Danae down to a knee. Kayako stepped free of the bear hug and superkicked the big woman of The Hive in the jaw. Referee Thurgood Jackson called for her to get out of the ring to which she obliged with a wave and another curtsy. The referee immediately turned his attention to Masami to assure no underhanded tactics. On the floor, in their corner, Kaede Tanabe was applauding the strategy, hyping her girls up.
Masami continued the advantage SBS had gained early on, hammering her with forearms as she powered her way up to her feet. Masami went for an Irish Whip but Danae reversed it and clubbed her with a clothesline as she rebounded back. Masami stayed on her feet and sneered right back in Danae’s face. Danae pressed her forehead against hers, baring her teeth. Masami shoved her back and pointed to the ropes, telling her to try and take her down again. Nodding, Danae appeared up to the challenge. She hit the ropes and ran in with a shoulder block. Masami went back a step but stood her ground. She slapped Danae in the chest with both hands and pointed to another side of the ropes, telling her to come at her again. Faster. Harder. Danae obliged but as she slammed into Masami, the SBS member still refused to go down. Again, Masami pointed at the ropes and Danae came off them for a shoulder tackle but Masami stayed vertical. Masami opened her arms, got in Danae’s face and called for more. Danae turned and charged up her feet, but as she ran, Masami took off after her, rebounding off the ropes a split second after Danae did and as Danae skidded to a stop in the center of the ring, Masami leveled her with a clothesline then hit a jumping knee drop across the face before going for a cover but Kassandra dove in for the save at the count of two. Referee Jackson began ordering Kassandra out of the ring as the Wolves of Legion picked Masami up for a Double Suplex. Finally, Kassandra stepped out onto the apron but Danae was there to tag her legally into the match. Again, the Wolves worked in tandem with Danae picking Masami up for a delayed vertical suplex while Kassandra ran off the ropes to hit a lariat on her legs. Danae popped up to stand as a barrier against Kayako as Kassandra went for the pin but Masami kicked out at two. Kaede slapped the mat, whooping to Masami that that was how you did it. She clapped her hands, cheering for Masami to get up.
Danae was ushered out of the ring as Kassandra picked Masami up and delivered a DDT, swinging her legs around to brace them on the mat again as she picked Masami up and followed up with a Northern Lights Suplex, bridging for a pin. One...two...but Kayako dove in with a double axe handle to break up the pin. Kassandra started rising off of Masami and Kayako nailed her in the back of the head with a buzzsaw kick. The referee called for her to get out of the ring yet as she did, Masami motioned for her to get up on the top turnbuckle while she set Kassandra up for a catapult. As she went for the toss, Kayako came up and down into a Double Footstomp, painfully bending Kassandra back over Masami’s knees to complete Catching Blossoms! Kayako rolled through on the landing and sprung up, running to the Wolves of Legion’s corner and shoulder checked Danae off of the apron as Masami went for the cover on Kassandra, hooking the leg with a battle roar as the ref hit the mat and made the count for 1...2...3!!
Thea Crawford: Here are your winners, by pinfall!! Kayako Kazama and Masami Nishikiyama. S...B...S!!!!!
Andrew Payne: Decisive victory by SBS!!! Wow!!!
Miranda Augustino: They had one hell of an obstacle in the Wolves of Legion but wow do these girls work together like a couple of greased up gears!
Kayako danced around happily in the ring while Masami raised both fists in the air, sneering. Kaede Tanabe came into the ring and shooed Referee Jackson away while he was moving to raise their arms in victory so she could do so herself. After they were done celebrating, Kayako rolled out of the ring while Masami sat on the middle rope for Kaede to get out before rolling over the top to the floor and the three headed up the walkway towards the back.
Winners: SBS
Result: Pinfall

The scene comes up in the House Crowley locker room. Despite not being booked, Anton and Kate are still there watching from their locker room anyway. They are both on a couch with Kate curled on Anton's shoulders. Kate smiles at the camera.
Cali-Kate: Oh, hello. Were you not expecting us to be here? Probably expecting us to be by dear Risa's side right? Heh, do you honestly think she'd forgive us for being there instead of here, ever?
Kate simply shakes her head.
Cali-Kate: No, we aren't booked, but look at us: our hands are cleaner than a baby's bum after the diaper change. I know there's people who want my head for a variety of reasons. Faye still thinks I stole this title from her. Glitch, or is it Cherry now, probably has some choice actions she'd like me to suffer through. Adrianna… hahaha, well she's just an angry fucking bitch isn't she? Ha! And everyone is gunning for these two titles we hold. It's not that no one cares about the US title, but they like Anaquin and not us.
Kate shifts to lay back a little bit.
Cali-Kate: I shouldn't need to reiterate that I have never let anything short of medical reasons keep me from being where I need to be. Do I have to fucking remind everyone again who and what the fuck they are dealing with in me? Believe me, I can think of a lot better places to be than here, in this arena with you ungrateful peons that don't understand what it means to be the top of everything in this company, in this business.
Kate holds her title up.
Cali-Kate: Things like this, need to be represented even if not booked. So why aren't we at Risa's side? For the same reason we were never worried about Risa's well-being. Concerned about what other damage might be done, but never for if she will recover from it. Because we know her. Potentially better than most of you. We know her strength and will. And much like a Saiyan, if you fail to actually kill her, she will come back much stronger. That is what we have been looking to unleash. Don't believe it? Watch her.
Anton smirked with a derisive snort.
Anton Crowley: Everyone wants to believe that we care nothing for Risa. That she is just a tool. They can’t, more likely won’t, accept that we care. They all saw her as some sort of material thing to use to their own advantage. All Kate and I have ever wanted was for Risa to flourish.
Anton motions with his free hand in an upward motion.
Anton Crowley: Risa shall heal and come back better than before. She shall show that same spark that lead her to challenge me after winning the Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournament. She will shine bright and blaze.
Anton adjusts slightly.
Anton Crowley: Risa had come to us for help in her rise. She was given the offer I have given others. I proved that she made the smart choice in doing so. Minoru did not accept it and he almost ended up out for good. That, in fact, was more than just me proving a point. It was a message to Adrianna. Remember what I did to your brother. Remember I have no problem crippling members of your family.
Anton grinned wickedly.
Anton Crowley: Once again I have proven that I am the true King of Trauma. That Kate and I rule over all. Remember this, I can be a kind King or a terrible Tyrant. The choice is up to you all. Bend the knee or be destroyed.
Kate smiles and gives Anton a kiss and a wave to the camera before the scene fades out.

Match #6/Guardians of the Pyramid Qualifier
Kasey Kash vs Sapphire Gemstone
The bell sounds and the two competitors circle the ring before Sapphire charges in at Kasey who sidesteps her and goes for a quick rollup, only to get a two count. Sapphire gets back up to her feet, but is met with standing Spanish Fly before hitting the ropes and delivering a springboard moonsault onto Sapphire and once again going for a cover, only to get another two count. Kasey climbs up to the top rope and he goes for a 450 splash, but Sapphire is able to roll out of the way, but Kasey rolls through the move and when he turns around, Sapphire delivers a series of armdrags before hitting the ropes and delivering a shining wizard to Kasey and going for a cover of her own, only to get a two count.
Sapphire took over the match from here as she kept the high flyer grounded. She had him in an abdominal stretch and as the referee was checking on Kasey, Sapphire would grab the ropes for added leverage, not getting caught several times, but she tested her luck one too many times and was finally forced to break the hold on Kasey. Sapphire would go for a running shooting star press, but Kasey gets his knees up and drives them into her. Kasey gets back up to his feet and delivers a Canberra Collapse on Sapphire before hitting the ropes and delivering Going the Distance on Sapphire and hooking the leg and picking up the win.
Andrew Payne: And Kasey is the first challenger to qualify for the Guardians of the Pyramid match.
Miranda Augustino: This match is probably one of my favorites here in NFW. It’s sadistic and a true test for the people involved, but Papi knows what it takes to win this match. He did it last year.
Winner: Kasey Kash
Result: Pinfall

The Voice of Anaquin Adams: You can call me the collector. I collect many things. I have collected wins. An abundance of them. I come out here and claim my undefeated streak hoping someone will bite. Hoping that someone will step to the plate and try and put my shoulders to the mat. The burden that this carries, weighs great upon my shoulders. As if the entire collective of NFW is riding on my shoulders.
When the camera finally finds Anaquin deep in the recesses of the Collision Center, she’s sitting next to the furnace, sweat dripping down her face as she leans against the wall. As the camera gets closer, she finally looks up, hair matted to her face by the moisture trickling down her face. She grins.
Anaquin Adams: Then the fortune teller proclaimed my arrival into the NFW, word traveled throughout the omniverse. The Universal Superstar had returned to competition. Slowly the competition came, each one falling victim to Hell’s Hammer. Some were the very best this company has to offer. Others were just hungry. The lure of this trophy that sits in my lap was just too much for them. But, no one was ready. As quickly as they arrived, they all fell like dominos. So, again I cried out to the omniverse and you answered my call.
Anaquin raises her head a little higher and we see the United States Championship belt sitting in her lap. She adjusts it so that it can be seen a little better before she continues.
Anaquin Adams: Kairi Higurashi. You stepped up. You requested a shot. You had more courage than 94.67 percent of those on the NFW roster. They sit back there twiddling their thumbs waiting for GM Santiago to hand them their shots or they go out and talk about everyone else except Anaquin Adams. Your courage has been rewarded and if by chance you defeat the Universal Superstar tonight, then you rightfully deserve to be called the United States Champion. But understand, I will do everything in my power to prevent that. You see, I have a date. I’m afraid that date requires me to remain United States Champion. So bring everything to battle and take no steps back. When the dust clears, regardless of who wins, let’s shake hands as worthy adversaries and move on with our lives.
Anaquin rises from the ground, draping the United States Championship over her shoulder. She starts to walk off but pauses and looks into the camera.
Anaquin Adams: And I haven’t forgotten about you. Pretender to the throne. She will personally deliver a message to you and I hope that you heed her words. Or will your arrogance deny her very existence? In time, we will see.
Anaquin Adams walks off.

Main Event/United States Championship
Kairi Higurashi vs Anaquin Adams ©
Senior Official Yumi Akiyama raised the United States Championship to the crowd before handing it off. Once everyone was ready, she called for the bell to start the match. Challenger Kairi and Champion Anaquin came out of their corners, ready to go, fist bumping and circling before they locked up, collar & elbow. Anaquin pulled Kairi into a side headlock. Kairi pushed Anaquin off and sent her running into the ropes and dropped to the mat at her feet, forcing Anaquin to hop over her. She hopped to her feet as Anaquin came back and leap frogged over her. Anaquin hit the ropes again, came back and both of them went for a dropkick at the same time, hitting nothing but air. Kairi and Anaquin came up on one knee, staring each other down as the crowd applauded their athleticism. The two got up again and went for another lockup. This time, Anaquin administered a wrist lock but Kairi managed to reverse into an arm wringer, flipping the champ over onto the mat, sitting up. Kairi hit the ropes and came in for a low diving crossbody, flattening Anaquin onto the mat for a cover and a two count.
Kairi pulled Anaquin up to her feet and set up for an Osaka Cutter. Anaquin ate all of it and hit the mat. Kairi hurried to the corner, hopping up onto the turnbuckle and came off the top with a big Frog Splash, hooking the leg for another cover. 1...2...Adams kicked out again! Kairi pulled Anaquin up to her feet and set up for Crimson Stained. Anaquin wiggled her legs free, grounded her feet and hit a Back Body Drop. She hit the ropes, came back and drilled into Kairi’s chest with a Shotgun Dropkick that sent her rolling out to the ringside floor. Kairi got to her feet and Anaquin came running for a Tope Suicida, sending both of them slamming into the steel barricade. Referee Akiyama made sure both were okay before starting the count to twenty while the two brawled on the outside for a bit. Kairi and Anaquin traded some nasty shots, stiff hits, bouncing each other’s heads off of the ring apron. Kairi took back the advantage, blocking an attempt by Anaquin to ram her head into the apron again and hit her with a back elbow before rolling into the ring at 17. Anaquin held her jaw for a second while the Referee counted 18...19...but Anaquin made it back into the ring where Kairi was waiting.
Anaquin exploded up, catching Kairi with a forearm, then a knee strike. She dashed across the ring, hopped up onto the ropes with her hands and feet, flipping backwards for Cosmic Assault. She landed across Kairi’s shoulders, sending her down to a knee but Kairi wowed the crowd, powering back up to her feet with the Universal Superstar across her shoulders in a Backbreaker Rack. Kairi let out a defiant yell, tossing Anaquin up and over onto a Gutbuster!! As Anaquin grabbed at her ribs, Kairi set her up again, hooked her arms and legs, lifted her up into a package hold, CRIMSON STAINED!!! Cover!! 1...2...NO!!! Anaquin kicked out just before 3 and Kairi sat up with her hands on her head and a look of shock. She almost looked like she wanted to argue for a 3 count with the referee but that wasn’t her style, everyone knew. She pulled Anaquin up, clutching her around the waist from behind, possibly going for Sea of Fire but Anaquin widened her stands, desperately trying to get loose, prying at Kairi’s hands, throwing back elbows until her opponent finally lost her grip. Kairi staggered. Anaquin twisted. TECTONIC SHIFT!! Kairi hit the mat and Anaquin hit the ropes, crouching up again and flipped back off. COSMIC ASSAULT!!! Clutching her ribs and neck, she picked Kairi up again, whipping her in for the corner but Kairi just barely managed to reverse it and sent her at it instead. Anaquin barely caught the ropes to slow herself down and as Kairi ran in, Anaquin popped up for a mule kick, sending her back and spinning. Anaquin hurried to the top turnbuckle. Leapt off. HELL’S HAMMER!!!!!! Cover and 1...2...3?! 3!!!!!!!!
Thea Crawford: Here is your winner and STILL the NFW United States Champion!! “The Universal Superstar”...ANAQUIN...ADAMS!!!!!!
Andrew Payne: Reigning!!! Defending!!! Undefeated is United States Champion, Anaquin Adams!!!!!!
Miranda Augustino: I gotta admit it Andy!! If anyone had her number, I thought it was gonna be Kairi Higurashi but the Universal Superstar defies again!!!!!!
Anaquin Adams climbed to her feet, wincing through the pain as she raised her fists to the sky. The referee brought the U.S Title to her and raised her arm. Anaquin raised the championship overhead before turning to Kairi Higurashi and offered a hand to help her up. Kairi stood up on her own and stared down with Anaquin, frustrated at first but offered up a hand. The two clasped and embraced before Kairi stepped back and bowed deeply as a sign of respect to the champion. Anaquin bowed back and pulled her opponent into another hug. Kairi raised Anaquin’s arm herself before leaving the ring to her.
Andrew Payne: I gotta ask the question, Mir: Who? Who can stop Anaquin Adams after everyone she’s already stood up against?
Miranda Augustino: Well, we won’t know that answer tonight but maybe someday!!
Andrew Payne: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for benign with us tonight. We hope you enjoyed this 38th edition of Trauma. For Miranda Augustino, I’m Andrew Payne. So long and we’ll see you next week!
Winner: Anaquin Adams (Still Champion)
Result: Pinfall
