“Three broken ribs.Half a dozen cracker ones.
Concussion.
Whiplash.
Doctor said for all intents and purposes, I look like I've been in a car accident.
Lost a lot of blood from the match too.
Going back to sleep now.” - @supernovaresu via Twitter
“Everybody got what they wanted, yeah?
I burned bright and imploded.
Minoru can be happy. Everyone else who was pissed I gave up sunshine and rainbows can be happy.
I've had 4 visitors. Anton, Kate, Faust, and Effy.
Trixie is coming soon as she can.
No one else cares, Morg.” - @supernovaresu via Twitter
Morgan hadn’t counted on visiting Chicago this week. It, normally, wasn’t a week where she was scheduled to be in town for a New Frontier show. Lilith and Chrissy were, of course. One of their contractual obligations as the current Tag Team Champions. The rest of The Kingdom weren’t required to be in town. So, subsequently, Morgan wasn’t. That all had changed as she sat back with the twins and little Tommy to watch NFW Trauma’s “Manifest Destiny II” supershow. She tended to always watch every broadcast that she could. She was looking forward to this one in particular because she had a few familiar faces to root for. Things got...interesting, so to speak...with one match in particular.
Her heart weighed heavy in her chest the moment the graphic appeared on the screen, signaling that it was time for the match to begin. Adrianna Salvatore and Risa Saito-Jackson. She knew both of them. Was the closest of friends with both of them. Risa had become one of her very best friends and that was putting it lightly. Adrianna? Shit, they practically grew up together from the time they were adolescents; ever since she and her brother, Nico, moved to town. They went through Junior High and High School together. They trained for wrestling together. Their debuts into the indies weren’t that far apart, even. Morgan and Adrianna were tight. Sisters From Another Mister, they used to jokingly refer to one another as. They had a bond that could not be severed. Never be broken. Or so she thought. Morgan sat through that entire match, on the edge of the couch, pressing her mouth against her hands, folded together; elbows on her knees as she watched two people she cared about setting out to utterly and absolutely destroy each other. Difficult to watch? That was an understatement. For Morgan, it was essentially watching a sister in a bloody battle with...well...she cared about Risa as more than just a friend if she was being completely honest. Even if she could do nothing to act on it, she cared about her. She loved her. Something she had hidden and hidden quite well for some time now. Regardless, it was still there. So, one might ask, how else was she supposed to react, following the official end of the match when it happened?
Andrew Payne: ADRI!!!! ADRI, STOP!!!!! STOP, NOW!!!!!
Andrew Payne shoves through the referees and other employees that are gathered at a distance to look on in horror. Not only that, but Andrew even gets right up next to the forklift, putting a hand on Adrianna’s arm.
Andrew Payne: Adri. Hey! Listen to me! Kid, this is not the way! You beat her! You wanna get back at them? You move onto the next. You beat Kate. You move onto Anton. You beat him. You do not do this!! Do you hear me?! YOU DO NOT DO THIS!!!
Adrianna Salvatore: GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!!!!
Adrianna guns the forklift in reverse with the dumpster lifted and tilted off the ground. Andrew has to get back lest his feet get run over but he runs in front of the open bay door, standing his ground as Adrianna raises the forks and dumpster up as high as they’ll go for what she needs to do.
Adrianna Salvatore: Move!!
Andrew Payne: You do NOT have to do this, kid!
Adrianna Salvatore: I SAID MOVE!!
Andrew Payne: STOP AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU’RE DOING!!!
Adrianna huffs angrily and throws the forklift into drive, she guns the gas forward, granted it doesn’t go that fast anyway. She drives right towards the open bay though. Right towards Andrew. It almost looks like the man isn’t going to move until the very last second, he yells in frustration and dives out of the way lest he be run over. Adrianna throws the forklift into park and looks at the camera as it comes up beside her.
Adrianna Salvatore: BRICK...BY...FUCKING...BRICK!!!
Adrianna pushes a lever up and the forks tilt forward going from an upward to a downward angle. Everyone watches in utter horror as the dumpster, containing “The SuperNova” Risa Jackson, slides off of them and goes plummeting to the ground outside of the loading bay. There’s screaming, cursing and all kinds of commotion from the other staff as Adrianna Salvatore climbs out of the forklift. She stares ahead of her, ignoring and pushing past people trying to stop her and ask her why or what she did.

Everything after that was a blur up until she was heading out to the Kingdom’s private jet with a small travel bag over her shoulder. She was still trembling. She had been crying. She was exhausted. She hadn’t slept a wink that previous night and here she was, at the crack of dawn, heading out to the plane to fly directly to Chicago. It was only a two hour straight flight from Asheville, North Carolina. She needed to be there. She needed to see Risa. That was all she wanted. That was all she initially intended on as she boarded the jet and set off for the Windy City. Morgan knew she wasn’t going to be the only one there. She only hoped certain individuals weren’t there when she arrived. House Crowley. Minoru Tanahashi. Yeah, it was putting it lightly to say she didn’t get along with them as well as others. She never fully approved of Risa’s allying herself with Anton Crowley but, alas, she was a big girl. Who was she to tell Risa what she couldn’t do? Morgan lucked out when she arrived, as it turned out. The only one there aside from Risa, herself, was Trixie Decker. Morgan had been looking forward to meeting her, as it stood. She only regretted that it had to be under the circumstances of visiting a mutual friend in the ICU. This brought Morgan’s mind back to everything that had led up to her walking through that hospital room door, the moment she laid eyes on Risa and saw the actual extent of the injuries she had sustained. Her heart sank. Her chest tightened. Her blood boiled. She went from wanting to know why this had happened to, internally, demanding to know. Morgan...was seeing red.
She had to have been in that autopilot mode again from the time she left the hospital after visiting Risa. Blame her subconsciousness for getting her from there to the apartment building of Adrianna Salvatore. She lived in the area due to her being exclusive to New Frontier. Adri had no reason to really travel for work, so she’d picked up and moved from her home in New York to Illinois. Of course Morgan remembered where the place was. She helped her move her new furniture in, for frigg’s sake. This wasn’t a social call, however. Not this time. Truth be told, Morgan didn’t know what she was doing to do as she got out of the cab, blood still boiling and walked right up to Adrianna’s apartment door. Without thinking, she grabbed the knob and twisted it; walked right in even. Her eyes scanned the living room to the apartment. No sign of anyone, until….
“Babe?” She heard Adrianna’s voice call from behind a closed door. She must have thought it was her girlfriend, Sophia, coming in. Morgan turned, walking towards the door and she was right up on it as it started to open.
“What’s up? You forget someth--” As she heard Adrianna start to get the words out, she saw the door start to open. She saw her face. The face of the woman, whom she normally saw as a friend. As family. All she saw now, however, was the face of the one who practically almost killed Risa Saito-Jackson. Morgan’s temper flared and WHAMM!! She let her fist fly.
